This is one of the best games I have ever bought. Hover boarding is really cool, best part of the game! Great graphics and super sounds, you can't get a better game. Save up for the RYNO GUN by going all the way round the planets again, it comes in great use. The robots in the Glove of Doom are really CUTE! Be like Spider Man with the Slingshot! Best Game! Ratchet and clank starts out with this cat guy who is stuck on a planet trying to fix his ship. All the guy has is his wrench as a weapon/tool. Then as you play the first level you get your first weapon. it's a bomb glove wich is pretty lame compared to the others. Wich include flamethrower, morpha ray, tesela claw, glove of doom, and many others. The graphics are very good. The sound is just basic background action music. You start out with three basic life bubbles. Later in the game you can get more. I forgot to mention two very important people. The first is clank. A small defective rowbot who can come in handy at times. The other is gagetron. This is actually a company that supplies you with weopns and gadgets. They also give you hints along the way. The bad guys in this game are not that hard to beat. But the bosses can get tuff. When it comes to them it takes more thinking than weopon or skill. This is veary original and lots of fun. But it is pretty long. Over all its a pretty fun game and the weapons, characters, and story line tie all togeather.

This game was really great! Its one of the funnest games I've played. Anyway for all the people who were asking, the Morph-o-ray. First go to Planet Oltanis or Gorda City Ruins. Then get out of your ship and go down the yellow elevator. You can see the morph-o-ray on the map by your star(ship). Keep exploring where there's a bunch of little warships above you. Keep going until you use the Swingshot to shot a green orb. Then shoot another orb. You'll be led to a room with more warships. Get through there and after a while you while see the yellow orbs to shoot your Swingshot. Keep using the swingshot to go across the world where you will land on an island. Then kill the guys and climb up the side of the pillar to get the Morph-o-Ray!!!

Ratchet and Clank is one of the best games i eva bought. It tests ur mind with hard challenges and the graphics are amazing. There is so much to do it lasts u for ages as there are 30 skillpints to get and ten golden weapons aswell as the first 15. The sounds make u feel like your in that place and the weapons are really great. My favourite the Morpho ray. For its value you have to get Ratchet and clank caus it will be the best game u will eva buy.

If it were at all possible I'd have to give this game a higher rating than what's allowed. The Oohs and Aaahs of wonderment still haven't seized in this household in reference to the awesome graphics and mindblowing dimensions featured in the game's design. My wife and I actually fought to get home from our jobs to dive into our separate games and to try and advance to the various levels--I tried to get as far as I could without the RYNO until the later stages-- (she kept going back to earlier levels to get that RYNO). INSOMNIAC has a true winner--H ey, we're in our late 30's the kids have to wait on us!!!

OMG this was the best game ever! I liked how you can't "die" persay, as there aren't any "lives." If you "die" you just restart from the last save point! Also, the idea of collecting items to buy ammo is just cool...
And the Morph-o-Ray gun (chicken gun!) is a "secret item" that you have to find by completing ALL the missions on a certain "world." If you don't have all the weapons, it means that you are missing some of the missions.
I love this game because it was tricky, but not a puzzle game, and the cinimatics were AWESOME....^^

When i first got it i thought it was rubbish so i played all my other games.completed them and got bored and then decided 2 have a go. it grows on you. the graphics are really kool. the fluency of the game is really good to. does get really tricky towards the end. the only reason it loses a star is because you have to start from the beggining of the world when you turn it off. cant wait for number 2 if there is one

I thought it was great. Each planet you arrived at offered vastly differing color schemes, sounds, and sights. There seemed to always be something new to look at or explore. Even when you finish the game, you can take advantage of all of the weapons, gagdets, and bolts you've acquired along the way and go back to the other planets and explore MORE than you could with the limited resources you had before. The only thing I can complain about is having to watch all of those short movies, commercials, and the ship flying to each planet, each time you traveled, and its a really short game. Still, its really fun.its pretty inventive and funny, and worth putting up with. There were plenty of little twists to the game that kept it interesting and fun. is the first video game that ive played everyday.usually i spend about 2 days spent playing video games, And I liked it.

Ratchet and Clank is the best game in the universe. The camera can be a bit dodgy sometimes but otherwise this game is a must have for everyone. My 9 year old brother has completed the game 3 times and I've completed it 7. I've found all the gold bolts and have got all the gold weapons. So it's pretty easy to play and the graphics of the game are so amazing. It's so original, the person their searching for turns out to be on the bad side, how original is that for a game.

The game is a basic combonation of laughs,skills,and and FIREPOWER.Its a great game for the faimly.If you havent bought the R.Y.N.O(rip ya a new one)Its the best weapon you can buy from gagitron(even thought it was conseled from the proudction line,you can still buy it on planet Rilgar,in Blackwater City).The best gagit from gagitron is the pda (is an automatic weapon ammo supplyer).Gold weapons can only be bought on the first planet,and some are VERY expencive.so all together it is the best game ever.

The only main problem is that even with the secret passage item gold bolts are still hard to find.if it was possible I would give this game 11 stars. my first ever game was pac man, then space invaders, in comparison to ratchet and clank..its like Brazil playing Bessbrook United with R and C being brazil.
thank god for children, as it was my 6 year olds moya and cian who introduced me to it, its great whan they go to bed as i get it all to myself then. the designer of the game has to be awarded some sort of medal. the weapons, the stunts the mind testing decisions make this possibility the best ever game i have seen or played. by the way my kids are better at it than i am. when is the sequel coming out. john moya and cian, Armagh, Ireland

I got this game because it looked good to play and the graphics looked good. I have been playing the since Christmas when I got it and it is really fun!! I am on the last level (Veldin) and I am finding it really hard. I have got everything else (all golden bolts and weapons) and I am looking forward to completing the game.

I got the game just based on the commercial where you can turn your enemies into chickens (Morph-o-Ray), But That was the only weapon I didn't get ! I got the 9 Gold weapons, and the goodies, but had that one slot open for the 'Ray. That's the only reason It lost a star. Otherwise Great Game for only $40. Is it just me, or would this game be kinda hard for a 13 yr old? Which is the age it was intended. My Girlfriend and I enjoyed it (both 20). Get it, and please think of the poor Green Bayer who couldn't get the Chicken-maker when YOU finally do!

The game is excellent with great bosses and a superb range of weapons and gagets from Grind Boots to Testa Claws. You can play as giant Clank, Clank or Ratchet. There are two main 'bad guys' who would do anything to take you down. One of them who is very much like Buzz Lightyear is called Captian Quark (he's Blargs servant and a big hit in the galaxy). And Blarg who is the actual evil one. He's trying to blow up as much planets as he can just to make himself a home planet. The value for money is very good because the colours go excellently

I think the concept and the storyline of Ratchet & Clank is great. The graphics are also very good. One problem though. This game is a tad too easy to beat. I beat this game in a week and then it keeps telling you to go through it again and again until you collect every single skillpoint and gold bolt. It just seems to get old doing the same thing over and over again. Overall, Ratchet and Clank is a great platformer game and if you were in to Spyro, Crash Bandicoot, or Jak and Daxter this game is for you if you don't mind beating things over and over again.

Ratchet and Clank is in my humble opinion the best game I've ever had a chance to play. It’s one of those games where you know you got your $$$'s worth after about the 5th or 6th level. Fortunately, there are many more than that. The game play (and 3D engine) is incredibly smooth and each world is exquisitely detailed. I can only hope that a sequel is in the making. A few of the reviewers have complained about having to watch the in-game cinematics between levels, but you can skip them easily enough by hitting the start button. I found them quite enjoyable and feel they added to the story line quite a bit. I’m not sure why you’d want to skip them anyway as you’d have no idea what the story line was. If you don’t have this one, do yourself a favor and go get it – you’ll be glad you did.
