Ok, this game was not all that great, my cousins tell me "Oh Tommy, you will love it, it is just like jak 2!!!!!!" ( I love jak 2 by the way, although not my #1 fav., if you spent alot of time on Stationplay, you would probably know what is my fav.)And i remember seeing the posters while playi g Jak 2, so i thought, hey why not? and so i try it.....uuuuuuuuuuuhhhhhhhh......not really like Jak 2 at all! The Jak games (Jak & daxter - Jak 3) are are super cool, this was NOT!!!!I didnt give it a 1 because it was somewhat like Jak 2 but, i mean come on! kinda....a Jak 2 for kids who prefer cartoons over an awsome movie. I realize this is "T" but, it just doesnt seem like one, it seems like an "E". Maybe Jak 2 is just SOOOO awsome that i was use to just playing an awsome game and thinking this game was going to be just as great, it was a let down, maybe if i hadnt played the Jak games, i would have liked this more. Yes, this game was not that great, but hey, if you like it, go ahead and play it, and to thoes of you who are looking around for cool games, maybe considering Ratchet and clank, i have something to say, i think YOU would think it was good or at least desent but if you want the extream, cooler, better, more exiting and way more fun version, i would go with its cousin Jak 2, but that is just me

ratchet and clank are so awesome because of the weapons and graphics and funny humor i just love it so much im crazy for it and i love to do skill points there so awesome and fun and the r.y.n.o is so destructive and the tesla claw magnificent the wrench is also perfect and the pyrociter perfect and the blaster good but the morph gun hillarious and the graphics look so lush and nice its the supreme game of the galaxy. the sound is also nice and the enemies are fun to destroy and the races are moderate. the guns are the life blood of this game and the others and the toughest gold bolt to obtain was the one on gorda city where you had to swingshot and reach it and my favorite planet was the one where the gadgetron headquarters resided in.it had its own originallity because it featured something different than other platforming games.

I loved Spyro! You just ask my siblings. I must have played each game a thousand times! When I heard that Insomniac was not making any more Spyro games I was disapointed, but the I heard that they were making a new game : Ratchet and Clank. I had no clue that Ratchet and Clank was that brilliant! I had never expected a game to be that fun. I do think it was better than Spyro the dragon. Spyro was much more easier. This game is harder but is so so so fun! Ratchet and Clank is my favorite game, the reasom I didn't give it ten stars is because I am waiting for Insomniac to make something way bigger and better.
When I played Jak and Daxter I thought that game was very very good. That was before I played Ratchet and Clank.Hey all you people reading this,if you have not played this game, get it and play it, it is a very good game and you will not regret it!

By the way, Ratchet and Clank is an awesome game. All I have left to do is to buy all of the gold weapons. Is there a quick and easy location for a lot of bolts that someone can share? I hope that Ratchet and Clank 2: Going Commando will be even better. Anyways, the persuader is automatically and permanently equipped once you get it. Just thought that might help.

I thought this would be another game were you start and play and complete in a night or two but the gameplay was great and the game has good length. The graphics are great and the storyline is very good aswell! With a ton of gadgets and weapons you can never get bored! Rachet is a classic hero.. funny, powerful and smart all at the same time. This is a definit 10 outta 10! Its very very very very very very very very very very very very veryv ery very, immensly,immensly,immensly,immensly,immensly GREAT!! A really good buy for anyone with a ps2 and the follow up to this game will find it hard to match the quality of its yunger bro.

This game is the best i've ever played! I've beat number 2 12 times! i'm pretty sure i can beat it in 3-4 hours. the first one is really good! the graphics are simply amazing! i'm the champion at the second 1. i just cant beat the first one becuase i'm stuck at black water city. i cant get to kwark. i know where he is i just keep drowning before i get there. i'm always so close. it's really hard if you've never beat it. if you can help me or have a question about #2 or what i've done on #1 or can help me get unstuck at black water city please e-mail me < remove me > at oobigcats< remove me > at msn.com. please help me get unstuck!

it is well worth $40.00 for it.After hearing these reviews im getting the first one. it is such a good game u wont stop playing until u fall asleep. garenteed! trust this game to grab u 4 ever.hit any thing that moves with ratchet insanely huge weapons.

This is the best game ever! It's challenging and fun but there is one thing i don't get and maybe someone can help me. With the persuador its supposed to give you a discount on gadgeatron things but i don't see any discount when i get stuff. how does it work? anyway the game is awesome and can't wait for R&C Going Commando!

I never played R&C1, but I was at a video rental store and I was at a loss of video games. Jak&Daxter/Jak2 were really good! Then i thought that rachet n clank was made by the same guys and as soon as I played rachet and clank 2, i was hooked! Even when I could not get through a challenging part, I was having sooo much fun. There are so many aspects of the game and side quests to do,heck, looking at the highly detailed enemy movements from afar from my vapoizer (a sniper weapon) would be fun.
Overall, great game, lots of stuff. Cant wait untill Rachet and clank 3 comes out!!!

The Best game ever. the best weapons and gadgets, from the little blaster to the black market R.Y.N.O. The game is full of twists and turns and countless missions. If it were at all possible I'd have to give this game a higher rating than what's allowed. The Oohs and Aaahs of wonderment still haven't seized in this household in reference to the awesome graphics and mindblowing dimensions featured in the game's design. My wife and I actually fought to get home from our jobs to dive into our separate games and to try and advance to the various levels--I tried to get as far as I could without the RYNO until the later stages-- (she kept going back to earlier levels to get that RYNO). INSOMNIAC has a true winner--H ey, we're in our late 30's the kids have to wait on us!!!

Loved the game it was awesome! The gameplay was great ,because of the ongoing plot,surprises, the items and weapons (R.Y.N.O. rules) , and some of the cinamas were plain funny. The sound was pretty good because ya dont get many games that even have a different sound for each and everything there. One thing I found wrong was that sometimes your file gets erased , but I solved that. I dont beleive I have another game that was as fun as that one. That thing with Ratchet gettin mad about clank almost getin him killed was neat and Clank findin his mom was sweet. The graphics were awesome too. This was a great game and I enjoyed it greatly.

for all you out there an easy skill point is to destroy the captain quark statchue on the spring on the planet Novelis! The game is the best!!! i would say that its the best game i eva played on since i got my ps 2 (wich was in 2000) i've had it for years (2002-2004)
and i still havet comleated the game yet. if you have not got rachet and clank for your playstation 2 you dont know the fun and excitement that your missing out on so if you dont got it ,

Ratchet and Clank is an excellent game I got addicted to it I would reccomend getting it as I thought it was a superb game it was also hard which I like it was really enjoyable working out where all the gold bolts where I also liked filling up with excitment when I bought a new weapon

The game isn't hard at all you get almost all the guns with no prob i just started from world one again to fine all the bolt to see what rare stuff there talking about what that really need on the game it a skip button where you don't have to see all the movies like the ship going to other world it gets real old real fast I wouldn't buy this game again. i say your better off to try a nother game or start looking at ebay for all the cheap Ratchet & clank games if you want to try it its not a game you want to play ever again after your beat it

Even though ive only played a demo its a very good game. im glad ive had the chance to play the demo. it provideds good weapons like glove of doom and other which are fun filled. i can also find secrets through the game and my favorite weapon is the swing shot. its the best. i cant believe how they came up with it.
