I haven't beaten the game yet, but it is AWESOME!!! If you don't have a PS2, your loss. But if you do, GET THIS GAME!!!! No PS2 owner should be without it. Probably the only thing wrong with it, is the fact that some of the levels are needlessly hard, and the camera often becomes frenzied during frank combat. But even that can't dull this shine.

When i first got it i thought it was rubbish so i played all my other games.completed them and got bored and then decided 2 have a go. it grows on you. the graphics are really kool. the fluency of the game is really good to. does get really tricky towards the end. the only reason it loses a star is because you have to start from the beggining of the world when you turn it off. cant wait for number 2 if there is one

I thought it was great. Each planet you arrived at offered vastly differing color schemes, sounds, and sights. There seemed to always be something new to look at or explore. Even when you finish the game, you can take advantage of all of the weapons, gagdets, and bolts you've acquired along the way and go back to the other planets and explore MORE than you could with the limited resources you had before. The only thing I can complain about is having to watch all of those short movies, commercials, and the ship flying to each planet, each time you traveled, and its a really short game. Still, its really fun.its pretty inventive and funny, and worth putting up with. There were plenty of little twists to the game that kept it interesting and fun. is the first video game that ive played everyday.usually i spend about 2 days spent playing video games, And I liked it.

OMG this was the best game ever! I liked how you can't "die" persay, as there aren't any "lives." If you "die" you just restart from the last save point! Also, the idea of collecting items to buy ammo is just cool...
And the Morph-o-Ray gun (chicken gun!) is a "secret item" that you have to find by completing ALL the missions on a certain "world." If you don't have all the weapons, it means that you are missing some of the missions.
I love this game because it was tricky, but not a puzzle game, and the cinimatics were AWESOME....^^

This is one of the best games I have ever bought. Hover boarding is really cool, best part of the game! Great graphics and super sounds, you can't get a better game. Save up for the RYNO GUN by going all the way round the planets again, it comes in great use. The robots in the Glove of Doom are really CUTE! Be like Spider Man with the Slingshot! Best Game! I.D.S.T = If Destroyed Still True

Great graphics, sounds, gameplay it is just so awesome! The detail, how much sound and movement there is. Every single world is alive and moving not just sitting there. The weapons are so much fun and all the moves are just great. It has the best humor of any game I have ever seenI cant wait for the 2nd one to come out if there is one!

The best thing about the game is the movies. But, some movies are boring so if you press start, you will skip it. here's some good news. On November 12 2003 a new ratchet and clank will come out called ratchet and clank gone comando. I really enjoyed the first one...so did my Dad. We can't wait for the second one to come out. I think the weapons are awsome but I think the next game will have much, much cooler weapons.

This game kicks behinds!!! I like the game because ofit's challenges and HOVERBOARD racing man!!! Who ever hates this awesome and cooool game should die for once!! I also love this game because it has mass destruction!!! It has super missile launchers like the Devastator and the R.Y.N.O. You could demolish and obliterate your arch nemesises! There is also cool characters like Captain Qwark or Skid McMarks and my favorite , the virocous Snagglebeast!!! This game may suck at the beginning but the more you go ,the better it gets. SO THIS GAME RRROOCCCKKSSS!!!! But the fun does'nt end there ,the game is better than any other game i have ever seen in my life i tell YOU!! The has a lot of powerful challenges and really funny things like Clank meets a hot robot in the Gadgetron site!!

Ratchet and clank is the most fun ive had in playing a game in a long time. Ive been playing it for about a month but i cant get any gold weapons. For all you lovers of exellent adventure games you have to get this exellent game by insomniac. Enjoy

spyro the dragon was awsome but rac was better there are tons of skill points i got some frustrating but any way......on dreks fleet if u go through the water tunell thing with out losing a hit point u get a skill point if ur wondering how to get the cheat "hey over here" lure the crab enemys into the force field and to get the gold bolt on ratchets home planet veldin the one with the force field use ur taunter to lure the frog behind the field into the button ......well its the best game i played and i cant wait for the sequel..........p.s use ur taunter for hey over here im kidin the game wasd good because the graphics were better thans spyro and the sound 2 the only thing that wasnt good was nothing this was the best game i ever played

Rachet kicksbutt it has a sweet rifle. That rifle is just like a normal rifle but it upgrades to a ultra vaporizor and you can get old weapons from the first version. The rhyno 2 shoots better than the first rhyno and the zodiac is good. This time Captian Quark is a complete lunatic! The enimies turn around and shake their butt back and forth at you. That pissed me off!
I shot him in the ass!! with my ultra vaporizor wich is a rifle.
Mr. Fizwidget is completley more lunitic than Captian Quark. He gets distrated easily. But I think this game kicks ass!!!!
From AssBlaster...... Clank needs more weapons than punching. And he needs more health. And his giant form needs a better bomb by jumping in the air to charge a bomb and let it shoot.
And this game has good ass butt kicking.
I think Rachat and Clank up your arsonale means up the enimies big fatt $#< remove me > at !. Code name Rachetblaster.
I can beat anyone on Rachet and Clank.

Rachet and clank is the best game in the whole entire world and dont you EVA forget it. Did you know that Rachet and Clank was da !st game i eva played on ps2. Yep its true. We got it free with the console. How could any1 just give away such a great game like Rachet and clank? Hey does any1 know what The Zodiac does? For 1.5 million bolts, it betta be good.i think that the best basic weapon is the minitureret coz it helps you heaps with all the big enemies. At the moment, im in planet Snivelac and im tryin to beat thast big dude but i cant. Im tryin to save up 4 the Zodiac but i dont think i will. its supa hard. Does any1 know then can u write a message like this and ill check it out. i know that its in planet joba but i cant figure it out. i thought it had somthin 2 do with dat green flashy thing in the begining but i realised that that was 4 the nanotech. anywayz , Ta-Ta xxxxoooo

I've played and beaten, and have all three games. This is a game that has more guns and upgrades than all the rest. The skill points and special bolts are all worth it in the end. This is the best series I've played. It has a lot of info, short missions, and cinematics. The most time consuming part of the game to me is the skill points, which take forever. The graphics, sound, gameplay, and overall fun is superb.It has to be the greatest series of 2005.So I'm working on the game still trying to completely conquer the entire series of ratchet and clank.

I guess if three year olds give good reviews then everyone should like it. For all the "grown people" this game is a waste of freaking time. This will teach me to listen to commercials. How about you guys play Everything or Nothing, at least that was a good game. Never mind, you kids wouldn't appreciate good games. Is it that your parents won't let you play any good games so they "make you play" loser games? Later losers. Want to send me hate mail? I read a review on the game coming out in November and it said that there are like 20 new guns and it said something about that if u have a saved game from the first one that there were 5 guns from the game u could transfer over. Itsaid that there were 20 planets and that they added moons that u went onto and u have to blow up towers on a moon. I think without even seeing the game that it is better than Ratchet and Clank. The other sweet thing i saw was that Ratchet got to wear suits of different kinds and i dont know what that is all about but i think it sounds cool. I also read that the reason it is called going commando is because he is in a like a group of special agents and it doesnt have anything to do with underware. Another thing is that when u are Clank there is 2 new things he can order the little robot guys to do and i know one of them is build bridges. The last thing i got to say is that Ratchet now has levels so he has hitpoints, and the most hitpoints he can get is 180 of the little blu things i dont remeber what there called, and the most an enemy has that isnt a boss is 120. Those are the reasons i think Going Commando is better. Since i cant type where i already have without deleting something im going to type one more thing, there are upgrades for many of the weapons including i think 3 upgrades for the OmniWrench and that is my last comment.
