This is a awsome game or what? I Did beat the tournment and all the other gguys where you have to duel them. I did not get all the lures but if someone has all the rules e-mail me some. the biggest bass I caught was 22lbs. the biggest Northern I caught was 1 lb 3 oz. The biggest walleye was 1 lb 7 oz. The biggest small mouth was 12 lbs. I get mad at this game because the northern, bluegill, crappie, and walleye get no bigger that 2 lbs. if someone knows how to get them bigger please e-mail me.

this game is by far the best bass fishing game because the gameplayis briliant the way you can set what angle you want the lure toland and the different abilities on the people.the graphics are pretty good the surface of the water lets the graphics down alot.but the detail in the fish are brilliant. you can be playing this game for hours trying to catch the biggest fish or having fun with your mates because it has a great two player game.this game can last a lifetime if you really like the game.the sound on the game are really anoing when the man is lifting the fish out the water and it makes tones of splashing sounds,really lound ones, which lets the sound down.but all in all i think the game is grate despite the sounds and the other fish grabing the lure which hay thats what fishing is all about.

This is by far the best fishing game out there for PS2! I have tried all of the other ones, this is by far the most realistic & challenging! SEGA did an awsome job in its design & there are over a 100 lures to choose from. Two thumbs up! I have not yet caught the 22lb 10oz. fish that the other guy did, but I'll keep my eyes out for him. My personnal best is 21lb 14oz.

One of my two top five hobbies are fishing and playing video games. So when Sega released this game I had to get my hands on it. The graphics are cool, two player mode is even cooler, and the options are enormous. There's enough options to choose from to keep you playing for a while. BUT....when my roommates and I started playing it, right off the bat we notice a MAJOR problem...IT'S harder to catch fish!!!! I can sit there above five large bass, get them to strike all day, but at the end of the tournament NOTHING!!!! I don't like to just quit things either so I sat at this game for hours trying to catch fish. Oh, sure I catch one or two here and there but it's harder than hell to do. My roommates have the same problem so I know it's not just me. Even now as I right about it I'm getting flustered.

Love this game!....Wish they would make a Salt water version. I been having great luck catching fish..and my wife a newbee to fishing games jumped right in is addicted to this game. My biggest fish is a 22lb 10oz Largemouth. My fishing friends tell me that is the record in Real Life...Has anyone caught a bigger one? Wonder if that is the biggest you can catch? Someone let me know...thanx...Pisquini

This game is becoming bad ass. A major hint for beginner players would be to make sure to allow the lure to actually enter the fish's mouth, then press L1. Also, the majority of the big bass love to chill under bridges, under pier's and around shaded areas. My biggest bass so far is 22 pounds. If anyone has caught one bigger, please email me at jcurt311< remove me > at aol.com and tell me wear you caught it cause I want to get me a 30 pounder. If you have any interest in fishing, BUY this game. And if you know of any other good fishing games, let a brutha know.

I haven't played this game long, but man, I am not very good at it. The Dreamcast version was amazing with the realism of the fishing rod controller. However the analog controller ain't that bad, though. However, if anyone can help a brutha out with some hints on how to catch fish easily, hook me up. Great realistic graphics and real characteristics of bass make this game a real joy to play. Be carefull before you know it the day will be over. You can get lost in this game. I thought the reeling could have been a little better and landing the fish their way was a little childish. But it wasn't hard. Don't forget to set the hook with the L1 button. The Detroit river has almost every species of fresh water fish and I've caught alot of them, especially bass.
