EA GAMES is good at making games and this one is one of the best! I made some China kids named Kenny and Benny And it was Fun untill it got boring! just Quit playing a week ago though. I like making people but don't Like making houses if you wamt this game go ahead and by it but it will get boring after awile. And geta life is stupid but just by it anayway.

i've never played the game properly but it is aammaazziingg . I love the way you can get a monkey as a butler and so on .......... anyway if anyone doesen't have the game and U know them recomend it right away! Okay I have to keep talking about SIMS because it the best game on PS2 but the downside is you cant have Baby's but I am waiting to prove it wrong!

This is the most awful game i have ever played. The timing it takes just to walk to your bathroom is ridiculous. If they wanted to go so far as to make the game where you have to pay your bills, cook, clean, go to the bathroom even, why not just make realistic time. In real life you don't have a limit as to how much you can buy. i am considered rich i guess in the game, but what have i been able to buy? Burglar alarms, neccesities (commodes, doors, WALLS). i don't know if i am just an idiot or if there's something i'm missing out on as far as the rules of this game goes. They have a cheat for getting as much money as you can get, yet can buy only 100 items or so. i like addicting games, but this is horrible. i get no where, and when i do, where i get to is not impressive i can't even see what it is i'm doing. It's the only game i regret buying. Still i hope those who do like it can explain how i can make this game more enjoyable. i'm open. i hate to think i wasted my money.

I think the sims is an exellent its like your playing god to some people that you make yourself . its amazing how much you can do , really, considering its just little people on a screen . Theres a lot more to it then just eat, sleep, talk, eat, sleep because you can get marrid and have have babies that turn into kids. you can get a job and get promoted aswell. ok, so maybe it might be the same day again and again and the graphics arn't that good, at least its not two dimentional rubbish that only has two different veiws. I would recommend this game to everyone I think that the game is original and well thought out and is extreamly clever, especialy the expantion packs because you get more out of the game on each one. this game is fun and I think you should buy it! its wicked!! the more I play the game the fun it is. And the sims for the ps2 is even better because there are actual targets to meet and theres no question of what shall i do today, it has to be done! I think the whole aspect of playing god is apealing to everyone and this game is ideal , I LOVE IT!!

love the game but takes to long to starve your sims to death...i sat there for 3 hours then my sim finally died. besides that it rocks like seeing the afganstan blow up.(that's a little to good) well i give it a 10 for good sounds graphics and alot of cool things to do like strip poker and 2 player mode.

Oh please! The Sims is SO boring! I'm still hate myself for even buying it, for $50! What a waste! It looks cool on the cover, but when you start playing it, it it really sucks. And when you start playing, its only fun for a half-hour. Don't be thinking about buying this, I BEG YOU! You'll hate yourself for the rest of your life! The Sims graphics are sucky and stupid. The sound bites. And the gameplay only just lets you live in a small hut, and go to your job. BORING!!! And when you live with a wife and kids, you have to do all the work! Clean up trash, pee-pee, and other crap. While also doing that, you got to take care of your-self! And even sometimes, they'll just stand there and be jerks. So anyway, DON'T BUY THIS GAME! ITS A WASTE OF MONEY!

The Sims is totally addictive. It's the best game in the world!!!!I hope they make lots more expansion packs. I luv it!!!! I luv playing on it, I play on it all the time. I would definetly recommend this game to anyone, of any age. I can't wait for the next expansion pack. I have all of them, and I can play on it for hours, when it only seems like 5 minutes.

I really liked The Sims on PC. The Sims for PS2 does not work out. There are a few things u cant do on PS2 that you can do on PC. One is you can only build or purchace a little ammount of objects, flooring, walls, etc. Two is that you cant build a second story. What is a house with one floor??? I am going to take this back and get my money back.

Dont get me wrong , i love this game!!the designing your characters faces and styles is a very good touch, i must say!! but it gets old after a while( especially with the cheats) Theres only a certain amount your allowed to build, or purchase, thats no good! and the worst thing!! NO SECOND STORYS!! its a good game for a while, the designing buildings and all, but it gets draggy after a while!
(its always fun trapping them in a building, and burning them to death though!)

I don't know about you but I was NOT impressed with The Sims on PS2! It doesn't give you the play and feel that the PC version gives you and the controls are awkward! It's not that bad but it needs to be played with a mouse and keyboard really.

This Is a great game but you can't get an upstairs, but i think the ps2 doesnt have enough buttons for it.
I like the monkey butler because he cleans your house makes your bed and even waters the plants! hes like the robot in the sims livin' it up (livin' large) but i cant wait for bustin' out, makin' magic and the sims 2 to come out!

I really liked the Sims for the Playstation 2. The game held my interest from the beginning. The flaws are basically few, but noticable. The graphics are just okay, the frustrating part is when your character's basic needs are down, raising them can be very difficult. I still managed to overlook that particular flaw, and had fun anyway. I reccomend this title for gamers who are tired of action oriented games and want something low key. It is hard to walk away from this game once you start playing it! THe best feature is the Play the Sims mode. Building a house and creating
a family is the best feature. You will enjoy this game from the beginning. I give it a generous eight stars!

sorry everyone here but its true! the game is worse then.... well i think it was the worst EVER! im actually gonna take it to a game shop and trade it for my cash back! the graphics were okay...up close...but far away the characters look distorted! Its also alot harder to build houses and stuff...it would be okay to rent for a few days but dont go out and waste $50 on it....

The Sims for the PS2 is by far better than the PC Version. But the game could have more Objects and Skins but the Game is Good enough how it is! The game has better graphics and better zoom options than the PC Version. I hope the next Sims Game for the PS2 will include more Objects and Skins, and one more thing, Better Gameplay. The thing i use in almost every house i make will be a Pool Table and a Fireplace. I think in the next game there could be a second story to your houses and plenty more Detail.

The Sims is better on PS2 than on PC.Theres more stuff to do and theres more of a replay value.However,I really like using a keyboard for the Sims and you can't use a keyboard for the PS2 version which is a little dissapointing.I might trade this version in for the Xbox one because the Xbox controller is probably better for this game than the PS2 controller.Still though this is a wonderful game.Its really fun and even a little addictive.The graphics and music are better on PS2 than on PC and theres a pretty fun 2 player mode too.So if you want a fun game then get this.

The sims is fun and enjoyable!!!. You will never get tired of it plus you have got two options, you can either play get a life and unlock new objects which is really fun and a challenge or you can just play and create whoever you like, you could even create yourself.

At first I thought, "why get sims on game cube if I already have all the expansion packs and great downloads on Pc?" Well The sims on Game Cube is like a totally different game. there are few cheats, and they have added objectives to be completed. I agree that the graphics aren't so hott, I keep wanting to zoom in. And I dont like how you have a limit to what you can buy. However, the objectives of each level keep you thriving to continue, and once completed, they are so rewarding.

i love the sims because when ever your board you can just play on the sims. Its all so real live but i think you should be able to but the house things on a dieagnel. On my sims i have creted all my family on it. i think the sims superstar is really hard because i dont no how to change them in to superstars.

The Sims is better then the PC. But its fun 4 only a hour. The Sims graphics r ok..u really can't c your Sim, sound is fine, gameplay lets u get a job, a love life, u can built homes, host parties, back-talk the neighbors, and have a monkey as a maid....now thats living LARGE. And the fun factor....8
