Firstly i really really like the sims on pc so when i heard it was being released on ps2 i was quite dubious about what it was gunna be like, for instance on the pc version i really dont like the way that it take them 5 hours to go for a shower and stuff like that. it makes building your stats up really annoying as you have to go through each day trying to get your comfort,energy etc levels up This is what i found with the ps2 version too. The best thing about the ps2 version is definatly the more varied charecters you can make and most obviously the graphics are better and you can actually see what they are doing. i would recommend this game although you have to have a lot of patience believe me. One time i was trying to build my 'body' level up and it took me ages to do it because my charecter was forever tired and hungry and like i said feeding and showering them takes half the day so i had the whole day wasted when she coulda been working out!

It seems like nothing is ever getting done. Especially when It came to getting the raise you need to reach the next level. Some building things were hard to put where you want it. Limited furniture and landscape. I expected better.. 3 stars is a GIFT - and what am I missing that others are rating it with a 10?! Get Vice City, the getaway, and Hot Persuit II, those are games worthy of 10s.

I never played any game like the sims. I wasn't sure if I would like it or not. My friend suggested this game. I bought it knowing not if I would like it. I did! It is a matter of opinion though. If you don.t like games where you have to do things constantly then don't buy this game. This game is somewhat hard. You have to meet daily requirements like eating, sleeping, and going to the bathroom. If you rgoing to buy this game for your kid Don't worry. When your sim goes to the bahroom or takes a shower he or she is blurred out. In this game you also have to go to work. This is sometimes bad. If you don't keep up your energy then your sim will pass out and you might miss work. If you can put ignor some of the downsides then you will love this game. I would suggest this game to anybody who likes Non-fiction games.

Man this is the very very very best game i'v ever played i just looove the 3D graps this gome is so cool that it's better than grand theft auto vice city!!! i gave it a 10 because it is really reallisic and thats what i look for in a game but the sound is great i like the strip polker table it's got a awsome gameplay i think its a great ps2 game but i think everything in this game is so cool i cant wait for the next sims it's a must have game so if you dont have it go get it, later dudes

I think the sims is the best game out for the ps2.I like how you can build your own house and create your own people to live in it.There are a wide range of items that you can buy to customise your home with,this is just one of the reasons why i am on it twenty,four seven.If i had to give the sims a mark out of ten i would give it eleven.

I've got all the PC games, but on playing the PS2 version, you can see the top graphics that this games console can produce! Beats anything on the X box and Gamecube. Slightly weaker than GTA:VC, but in a different category all together! Love how the designers came up with the Get A Life mode, to make it a bit more adventurous on PS2.

The Game Is Full Of Everything You Need For Enjoyment! apart from having amazing graphics, fun gameplay, Coll new objects and lots more stuff to add to your sims looks it has it own Missions!! How cool is that? You work your way through missions and havin great fun while doing them. The Graphics are exellent! 3D view of everything which you can view from any angle u want. Also a very little thing which pleased me ALOT u get almost double the personality points than you do on the PC versions. New items also make the game more fun to play. Its a MUST buy for everyone!!!

I couldnt wait till i got it .I play on it 24/7 its the best game out. The best bit is the monkey butler.get a life mode is a great feature which makes it better than the PC version.Its a shame that u cant have babies andhave 2nd floors in ure house.The creating a sim mode is great 2 cause u ave lots of choice. The 2 player bonus games is one of the best bits. LOOKING FORWARD TO THE NEXT SIMS

when i was in the shop i wasnt sure whether i wanted it as i didnt like the pc version, but i bought it(best decision i ever made!!) now im TOTALLY hooked!!!its easily the best ps2 game around, 10 times better than the pc version.the controls simple and easy to get used to,the graphics are superb in 3D and the sounds r fantastic and crisp.there are many new objects to buy (such as the strip poker table!!!) im guessing that it has a long lifespan as it has missions on it well not 'missions' but levels that are fun and get you used to play(basically big fun tutorial!named Get a Life)start off living with ure mum and end up in a huge mansion!!! the game has lost its originality factor as its been already done.i would have given it a 12 out of the 10 but sadly thats not on the scale!!! i would recommed it any1 even if u havent heard of the game before its worth buying a ps2 for!!! buy this game!!!!!!!!!!! NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i couldn't stand they pc version. with my sims are always complaining about stuipd stuff. but in ps2 version it was very a good. if you have good codes that makes the game twice as good.

I love the sims on the computer and I was very happy when I got to play it on PS2. This game is a lot of fun, and I like the different levels. The levels keep me interested in the game longer. The only thing I do not like is how limited the furniture and other items are. It is hard to make the sim enjoy their surroundings if there isn't anything to enjoy.

Sims is so cool you can make a house in the air. Everyone sould have this game if they like it. And the people that dont like it is so so so DUM. I know just the way if you are looking for a cheat code on how to get more money you type in rosebud with !!!!!!!!! some of they behide it then keep on pushing ENTER and get money.

If you are a sims fan you will love the PS2 version as well, but the PS2 version is complicated and its harder to figure everything out even when reading the manual. I gave the Sims PS2 the rating because I love all sims games! If your not into the sims a hole lot I don't recomend this game for you......stick to the Pc version!

the best game on the pc has finally come to the playstation 2. most of you will probably have heard of the sims and have played it and if you havent well i will tell you what its about. you get to make up your own person (a sim) build the house and then control everything your sim does from choosing its career to eating and when to go to sleep or have a shower. you even can get married and have kids you can anything and i mean anything if you wanted to you coul invite all your neighbours over and lock them all in one room and make them to starve to death or you could invite all your frines over and have bib party in spa or pool and play game and talk and anything you want to. so if you have ever wanted a diffrent life this is a chance to. but just giving you a warning if you havent got a few hours to kill then this isnt for you. get it have fun and enjoy.

This version of the Sims is very limited. My main complaint is the limiting of accessories you can add to your home. Not only is there limits on how much you can purchase, but often it will not let you purchase common items.?. Plus its not expandable. If you have the PC version.. save some money and dont by this version. In all im dissapointed to the max.

This Game is hot I never thought they would make it for PS2 but they did so now the game is the best for pc and PS2 now it need it to bring it the GC. This game is so good it can make any game system hot. Thanks for this great game now i hate going to work.

I really liked the new Get a Life Mode, (especially the strip poker table) Itwas easy to handle, but the views aren't that great. I really enjoyed the game otherwise. I liked the new touch about getting your kids to grow up and send them to prep. school. It's the best Sims game yet, I play it as soon as I get home from school everyday.

I like how you have to do missions. I also like that you get two players. I found it easier and harder in many ways, but I would recommend it over the computer. You also get to pick more options for your charactor like facial hair, glasses, hair and more! It's a great game.

I have to say that the sims is a great game. my son is 20 and he is always into video games, i have never paid too much attention and i really looked at the whole thing as a big headache. About two weeks ago my son brought home the sims and asked me to have a look at it, well i have not been able to put it down since. My son friends as well as mine all die laughing when they hear that i was up until 12 in the morning still playing the game.I imagine it is espcially amusing because i'm 58 years old!
