Great game... | | The Ronnerman from Atlanta, USofA says (10/Feb/2003): | Besides the interesting new control system and the spot-on graphics, this game is just pure fun! (shoulder buttons control individual leg movements, respectively, and both analog sticks control each arm, respectively and face buttons control rockets, lasers and such) This game plays just like you would think all those oldskool mechs would be controlled like. This game is nostalgic of the old time anime series Mazinger Z and the live-action Ultraman. No detail is overlooked. The Mazinger looking "Meganite" even has rocket fists that leave smoke trails that look actually like what rocket fuel produces, and the thing does a loop and comes back to you with the camera following it! It's even launched from a hole under a tennis court, Evangelion style! This game tried something new, and tho it is different, it succeeded admirably. I would recommend this game to any fan of old mech anime or just someone who likes robot games and wants to try something new.
| big bang big robots big fun | | Daniel from Kansas City Missouri USA says (16/Nov/2003): | Well it's something new. Armored core was gitting old so I got this and right away I was hooked this game has it all from weird giant robot monsters to a wanna be godzilla. This game is truly an intivative take on a great genre that needed something new!
