Dragon ball z budokai is a good game.but its missing some stuff.First of all Ithink the story mode should be longer. It should not stop at the cell games.they should have the buu saga in there.I think there should be more characters.Like goten, trunks, majin buu,gotenks and other good people.there should be more trasformations too.ss3,ss4. stuff like that. over all agreat game. fun to play but just missing some stuff.

This game is just soooo brilliant i play on it all the time.What can i say the graphics are great but we know they could be better,the gameplay is cool they've really made it beter than the other games exept in the others u can counter the ki attacks.Me being a great fan i had to get this game and i didnt think they would put the jap voices in!!that made my day.We all know the game could be better like not skipping out major bits in the sagas! and were the hell is trunks in the sagas!! he should have more of a role!! i cant wait for the second game to come out its gonna ROCK!!! they should put garlic jr and majin buu saga in the next one and maybe they should involve some of the movies into it,that would be sooo awsome!ive hered u can actually unlock majin buu and majin dabura but i dont know how!!! the person who told me might be lying!! i havnt got all the skills yet but im workin on it.And i hope in the next one they dont skip out bits therefore it would be more enjoyable and longer.There signiture moves are great thats one of the things i like best!!!

Hey guys its been along while, I know most of you hate Frieza because he acts like a girl,but if you really learn his moves and stuff although I think all of us together think that the character moves should be alittle more detailed.For example When you use Frieza's Deathball it should be alot bigger because when Frieza was battling SSJ Goku he used the Mega Deathball Twice and unlike in the game on the Tv his tail got cut off,plus he got cut in half by his own disk{that was funny}And when he came back to earth he used the Mega Deathball on SSj Trunks.And His voice is not a light girly voice it alittle between a deep girls voice and a girly man's voice. Now someone at my school said there is away to perform the Mega deathball but I'm not sure. If anybody knows this for a fact please let me know. Cell's voice should be deeper in his Perfect form anyway. And this is to the Company who made Dbz Budokai: Make sure that if you make A Dragonballz Budokai 3 that you include all 4and cyborg forms of Frieza
and give him and some of the other villians more devestating moves.
Frieza's moves should be:
1. Form 1
2. Form 2
3. Form 3
4. Form 4,50% and 100%
5. Deathball{small one}
6. Mega Deathball{really big one that can destroy earth}[ha ha]
7. Deathbeam x's 1
8. Deathbeam x's 2
9. Deathbeam x's 3
10. Energy disk
11. killer ball
12. Meteor Crash,Evil dance Etc.
All and all he should have a total of 16 or more techniques
P.s If he can do the Mega deathball in DBZ Budokai 2 the other opponent should be able to hold it,or throw it back and another thing Frieza can do the deathball in his first form too.

The Sayians of the Game should be more detailed also Goku should be able along with Vegeta should be able to go SS2 and also after the Cell saga on Tv they had the heaven saga and I think in that saga you should be able to fight with Pikkon and go down in Hell to train by fighting Frieza,Cell,The Ginyu force{1 by 1}
and King Cold . I know it sounds stupid but give me alittle credit.

I liked The game. I have beaten it arleady. Sure it takes a lot to get Goku in SS4. Shoot. That took me months. You have to beat every tournament with every character. But it really dissappoints me that they didn't make Vegeta SS2. I mean Trunks goes SS2!!! And Vegeta could go SS2 WAAAAYYYY before Trunks could!! What is up with that??

this game is great it rocks and the characters are good too but there should have been more variety in the moves I think the amount of characters is great because 22 characters is a good amount of characters for any fighting game. the controls are quite good if annoying at first but only for a short time. The story mode should be longer and transformations could have been done better but overall the game looks and sounds great.Also lack of the ability to fly and the fact that the tournament can only be fought in the ring (stupid ring outs) and the fact that you can't fight against your own custom characters bring the game down and they should have included the option to have the voices in english cos the japanese ones are cool but a bit annoying at times fans of the series will love this game and everyone else should like it too a good buy lease contact me with your opinions of the game.

Graphics-tha graphics are really good cos they actually luk like tha characters from da cartoon,but they could have improved tha facial animation a bit.
Sound-tha sound from da game lets it down as its all in japanese,but tha japanese voice acting was authentic.
Gameplay-I really enjoyed tha gameplay,it is one of da best DBZ games in a long time,but its rather limited to just fighting,there shud be a mini game of sum sort.
Lifespan-the actual modes like tha story mode is rather short,but there is hours of replay value from da skill shop and finding tha dragonballs.
Fun Factor-fans of DBZ wud love this game as it perfectly replicates tha cartoon series,more hardcore gamers,wud find this game gud but lacking in depth.
Overall-Get this game as a rent,if u like it than buy it,if u don't than get a more suitable fighting game such as Tekken 4.

ok when u fight i don't like how its like tekken fighting, like u know going back and forth and can only go so far away from your opponent before it stops you, i think that theyneed to make the second one to where you can move about the level selected anywhere that you want, and to be able to blow up mountains with your kai blasts, i also think that when you use your attack that it doesn't blow the earth up and stuff like it does on budokai, i think that when you use them that they should put craters in the ground from where u have shot the blast, more charcters need to be put o there, such as the new super sayion levels, Broly would be a surprise to see, and Vegeta ssj4. when i heard it was released in stores i was so excited but when i got it, it was just a total let down a mokery of DBZ also they could have put the voices in english and with the orriginal voices i have high expectations for the next one please dont let it be another letdown.

well, i thought the game was great. good sound, good gameplay. Good game. But to tell ya the truth it was way to short. and there is not nearly enuff characters. I was hoping buu would be in there. oh and gohan ssj2 is for some reason one of the weakest characters. Whats that about!?!? The second one will be alot better I hope. They need to add more characters. Overall I gave the game a 9. Besides the fact that I dont like how they made the characters and how there isnt as many as I expected. But overall the game is good. Hope I can say more for the second one.

the game can get hard so just do what i do find as many cheats and hints as possible. frist beat the story next practice than begin world trounament after you beat the frist go back to story when doing muttely deadly foe whith piccolo you must reach 3ki so you can beat the level

The graphics are the best. I'ts always #-d. why did that put doddoria in the game??? he's useless. No good attack. They should've put a person from the Majjin saga in the game. the Game was created when the majjin saga was played. Maube put some movie char in the game like ord slug??????
the stroy mode is great. It is only up to the cell games.
here's some stuff to help u out:
Hercule: Play Adept tournament: U must have more than 2000 zennie.
Legends of Hercule mini game: Defeat the Adept tournament with Hercule.
Advanced mode: beat Adept tournament as Goku, Gohan , hercule or trunks.
Gt.saiyaman: Beat Advanced mode with Teen gohan.
Vegeta strory: Beat the game, then go to stroie mode and Pick 6th clip. U will be playing as Vegeta and Fighting goku, Gohan and krllion in sucession.
Piccolo v.s radditz: Beat the game, Come back to stroy mode, select saiyan saga , then pick the second video clip. u will be playing as piccolo againts raddittz, saibamen x3 and nappa.
Yamcha: beat Zarbon with Vegeta.
Super Vegeta: To unlock transformation, U need to beat Imperfect cell with ss Vegeta.
Trunks: Beat perfect cell using Super Vegeta.
Super trunks: Beat Imperfect Cell on Hard using only ss vegeta.
Super Trunks2: Beat Perfect Cell on hard only using Super Vegeta.
Super vegeta2: Beat Imperfcet Cell a second time on hard using only base Vegeta.
Power weighted Cell: Beat Cell on the last fight of the game with teen Gohan ss2 and using the Super kamehameha.

When I first played this game I was like wow! This is a really good game. It has good graphics, the way you get new characters like cooler and bardock!! Also your life, the way you can custimise it for every level you get. It's awsome. It just like one and two exept for that you are able to fly when you are doing Dragon Universe!! It's so awsome!! It has great sound and graphics and I don't know why anyone would rate this game lower than a 10!!! The moves are awsome too like suazer blade (for cooler) which is kind of like a sword to big bang kamahamaha (for gogeta)!! Not only are those things good but the transformations like ss4 and the moves for those like vegeta's ss4 move (replacing glaick gun) final shine and goku's ss4 move (replacing kamahamaha) 10x kamahamaha!! It's the best game ever!!
Oh ya and the ultimante attacks!! They are so cool because you keep hitting them until you block (hit the same button)!!! Of coarse you can't forget the voices!! The only bad voices are probly kid goku and Goku when in ss4, oh and in ss4 vegeta!!

(P.S. This game is so awsome and just think when #4 comes out!! I have a feeling it's gonna be a hit ( a really big hit)! I mean a knock your socks off hit!!)
(P.S.S. I have a litte hint for when you get it (if you do). To do the ultimante attack you need to press L2 or PKEG at the same time and to do the utimante attack you hit them in the air and right when you hit them in the air you need to Press E or else it doesn't work (and don't let it run out or else you will get fatigue)!!!)

I keep reading the reviews that say that everyone has the same powers i.e. krillin has the same power as ssj2 gohan. that isnt true at all if you look at the practice mode...for example yamcha has a base power level or 280 and goku a base power level of 300 and that goes up 20% with king kai fist, ssj etc...So the characters Do NOT have the same power levels....and yes the game was pretty easy, but it really is worth exploring all the extras (for example, the capsule for Freiza's Spaceship is quite fun, you get to be Mecha-Freiza)

I don't know what everybody is talking about.If you think the game is too easy,go to options and change difficulty to very hard and opponent to very strong.I guarantee the game will not be so easy then.I love the way in tournament mode that you can either beat someone to a pulp, or very quickly knock them out of the ring.No other game has that.Is there anybody else out there who has spent the time going in and out of Popo's shop to buy all the Dragonballs to get the BREAKTHROUGH capsule for every character in the game.It takes forever.Awesome game.Goku 4Ever!!!

ok i want to know a few things like for one i want to know why even when i beat the game i did not have all the characters witch i think is not at all kool but i will get over it one other thing i want to know is why if i beat the game i dont have all the levels or missions im not going to dog the game completly it does have its fine points like how you get to beat the crap out of peaple and your little brother and how its got some of my favorite characters my freinds say its ok my step brother says its cool i say its ok so every one thinks diferent about the game like i read on here spme one said it realy sucks and a nother said it rocks i dont realy care if this gets put up i just wanted to speak my mind im hoping to get to and then you can see what i think about it or not im hoping it is better tha dragon ball z budokai 1 if its not then you will be reading about a game that sucks then again maby not also you all have your own thouts right if you dont then you need to get a life oh and befor i finish i have to say that PICALO ROCKS!!!!!

The Game had kool Graphics and Voices and Gohan is awsome when you build him up wil capsuls and what not. this game is one of the best DBZ games ever made i cant waint untill the sequal!the characters are kool and the story mode is just like the show. this game is definatly a good game to own!!

this is not a bad game at all the cutsceens are great and good graphics. but it lacks how hard it is. the final episode on normal is so hard cell does six times more damage and u cant defend after an atack against cell it is just outragus. plus it has no mode were it helps you master a combo or show you how to power up (still in pursuit of key) at all or wat -p means does it mean move or left or right then p. the game lacks realishim which most games do but this does by far. if you dont hit the button at the right button at the right time you cant do a combo. i hate that i still for some reason do the kamahama teleport at all. i may do it once in a while but usually i cant do it at all.
