This vidoe game, while fun to play doesnt last very long. I rented this game for 5 days I am on day two and I have beaten the entire game, unlocked every character, earned every breakthrough move and beat the legend of hercule mini game. so if you like a game thats fun to play but lacks a lot of depth then by all acounts buy it. but dont come crin' to me when your bored with it after 2 days of playing

I just think this is an amazing game. It covers just about everything we've seen so far. From a story mode to buying skills this game is excellent. If you start out with the story mode you'll go straight from the saiyan to the cell games. The tournaments are alot harder and if you can beat the advanced mode of the tournaments you just have to be lucky. Over all I give this game a 8 out of a 10 rating

I think that DBZBodokai could have been better.The graphics were bad as hell,but I get kinda frustrated that you cant jump or fly unless your hit into the air.I think they should have extended it to further sagas.The sagas in the game sucked.I like the buu saga and if that would have been in there the game would have been alot better.Also, it woulda been kewl if you could turn super saiyen three.

this game sucks but the monkey is cool.i beat the tournament with him,its easy.To get it u need 2 sets of dragonballs plus moonlight capsule on radditz or nappa,then press select and x at the same time. u will see nappa or radditz turn into the monkey. oh yeah u need to beat the tournament twice in novice, adept, and advance with all the characters.
good luck and have fun with the monkey.

This game is amazing and I agree with a lot of you when you say they should have more characters.The second reason it's not all that great is because you can only put up to seven slots in the skills menu and I say that's not enough.The final reason is that I beat this game in 1 week and sure was it easy and there is not thing left to do except win tournements and after awile that gets boring.

This game is wicked, except, that the Buu saga wasn't on it *cries*. The graphics are wicked but i reckon there should have been more episodes because they were too easy to complete! The good thing about it is that you can build your own custom made character ;). I reckon they should have used the American voices instead of japanese, Goku sounding like a girl is just too plain weird!!! O_o

say i am the BIGGEST dbz fan and i love everything about it all the moves everything.i think budokia is the best game ever!! the graphics are great the musics cool and so are the chareters and the story mode is awsome but the thing is the creators didnt add in the buu saga or kid buu and it doesnt have super sayian 3 for goku thats the only downer about it :( but the overall it ROCKS!!!

The game over all is great and everything. The game just needs a better fighting system. Another flaw is the fact that it has nothing to do with actual power level. Krillin was somehow able to beat Gohan(that's who I was) even though I had him go Super Saiyan-jin 2. What I love about it is to finally be able to go to Super Saiyan-jin. Basically, it's one of the best I've ever played.

The Sayians of the Game should be more detailed also Goku should be able along with Vegeta should be able to go SS2 and also after the Cell saga on Tv they had the heaven saga and I think in that saga you should be able to fight with Pikkon and go down in Hell to train by fighting Frieza,Cell,The Ginyu force{1 by 1}
and King Cold . I know it sounds stupid but give me alittle credit.

I think the game was awsome and that they need to make more of these or a DragonBall Z Bundokai 2 for Playstation 2. I think the game had good graphic and i felt like you were that person and using their own attacks and speical moves. I would put this game between 1-10 I'd say (10) being the best of them all. Thanks for showing me how well you guys put the playstation in it's place.

This game was pretty good, but it was way too easy. i beat it in like three days. I was expecting something more. Graphics were okay, but the fighting sucked.the combos and fighting styles could have been better as well. also, you couldn't fly on your own will, you had to be knocked into the air. overall, this game is good if you have some spare change, but nothin to save up for.

dbz is the best game out there but i would have loved it much more if you could have been able to fly around anywhere blowbuildings up basically do what you can do in the cartoon when the next one come out i really do hope its going to be like that cause im telling you from now everyone will love it much better i know i will if people read this im sure they will agree with me.

good but I could make it better the graphics were spectacular but the player choice was cut down too much and it should have included the buu saga it should have mord basic good moves not so many combos it should have had super sayian 3 and 4 and you should hve been able to turn to a monkey while fighting it could have been majorily sweet if it dednt cut down so many details

i think dragon ballz budokia is one of the most outstanding fighting games to hit stores the other DBZ games!!! sucked like dbz final bout blows the grphics are awsome like when gohan trunks vegeta goku turn super saiyan's its sweet ohh and if u are wondering what happens when u get all 7 dragon balls it allows vageta to turn acended saiyan its sweet!!! (Vegeta i love u)!!!!

i have to agree with the rest of thim the graphics are good but there sonds suck and they only put the vegeta saga raditz saga frezia android and so on but where is gerlic jr, cooler,majin buu and all his stages, android 13, 14, 15, and super android 13 this game was fun but it could have been better. Dragon Ball is a spectacular series that has one of the best story lines that i have ever encountered. This game barely skims the surface of what a DBZ game could and should be. I agree with many of the other reviews the game could of had a much better + longer story mode. Though this game lacked in many areas I am still a DMZ fan and I still enjoyed playing the game.

i thought it was Capitol G, especially since the states hasnt had a dbz game in a while. so aside from it being in english the gameplay is bad ass.i wish theyd left the Ki struggle feature from the final bout version for PS0ne. i just wish it have gone through the Boo saga and had some hidden characters from gt in it or something.other than that.its tha bomb fa sho.

the game was of the hizu. super saiyan 3 goku should of been in and teen gohan should have been the strongest beacause the episode was called a warrior beyond goku and in the game if u go 2 practice goku's full power is 140 and teen gohan is 130 that makes no sense majin buu should have in it. and they should have more details in the game anyway the game is great

The graphics are really are a first class spectical. even better than the others. It needs to be longer so I'll have somthing to do all summer long. i would have liked to see what it'd be like to go up against Buu. Should have a wider selection of charecters like younger goku or older/younger trunks! really challenging perfect 4 a PS2 game lover like myself.

There is no fun to this game. U cant counter any big attacks. The graphics are not good at all. This is not a good fighting game. The whole game is doing moves and powering up. Do not buy this game. I would not buy this game for 20 dollars. Maybe not even 10. The best part of this game is the characters and they all have there own moves. Thats about it.
