Mann....what you people talking about??...This is the best dbz ever. A whole lot better than db final bout. The graphics are hot; the voices to the characters are the same, the moves, and the movies! Just awesome. Did you guys know DBZ Budokai two is coming out? Yep! And it s going to be off the hook. If you guys are really gamers, keep updated on your stuff and give DBZ a ten because DBZ is a classic and will forever be hot....out...

The game is great but the ability to transform as a super saying sucks. I want a game that when I transform the aurora is still around me when i fly and bend the rules don't let that drain the energy and the slow motion punches should be in affect when I do a powerful attack. And for god’s sake let us be able to transform into the ape at will and then be able to change to normal form. Like I said bend the rules include majin buu all forms and make a mode where you can train and reach UN heard of levels such as ssj4 then battle in the tournament ape included.

It was very good!!!!!!!!!! graphics were really awsome. And the sagas were really cool they looked just like the real show. And the moves for the characters were really great. And it was a good idea to have dragonballs on the game. And the capsule buying moves idea was awsome.

I liked The game. I have beaten it arleady. Sure it takes a lot to get Goku in SS4. Shoot. That took me months. You have to beat every tournament with every character. But it really dissappoints me that they didn't make Vegeta SS2. I mean Trunks goes SS2!!! And Vegeta could go SS2 WAAAAYYYY before Trunks could!! What is up with that??

This game rules. I only have one more character! But the Advaced Tournament is hard as crap! And the wish with the dragonballs is a heart breaker. The story mode is fun and so is the legend of hercule. Zarbon sounds like a women and 19 is a feaken buu wannabe. But its one of the reasons I bought a playstation 2.

This game is just soooo brilliant i play on it all the time.What can i say the graphics are great but we know they could be better,the gameplay is cool they've really made it beter than the other games exept in the others u can counter the ki attacks.Me being a great fan i had to get this game and i didnt think they would put the jap voices in!!that made my day.We all know the game could be better like not skipping out major bits in the sagas! and were the hell is trunks in the sagas!! he should have more of a role!! i cant wait for the second game to come out its gonna ROCK!!! they should put garlic jr and majin buu saga in the next one and maybe they should involve some of the movies into it,that would be sooo awsome!ive hered u can actually unlock majin buu and majin dabura but i dont know how!!! the person who told me might be lying!! i havnt got all the skills yet but im workin on it.And i hope in the next one they dont skip out bits therefore it would be more enjoyable and longer.There signiture moves are great thats one of the things i like best!!!

Hey guys its been along while, I know most of you hate Frieza because he acts like a girl,but if you really learn his moves and stuff although I think all of us together think that the character moves should be alittle more detailed.For example When you use Frieza's Deathball it should be alot bigger because when Frieza was battling SSJ Goku he used the Mega Deathball Twice and unlike in the game on the Tv his tail got cut off,plus he got cut in half by his own disk{that was funny}And when he came back to earth he used the Mega Deathball on SSj Trunks.And His voice is not a light girly voice it alittle between a deep girls voice and a girly man's voice. Now someone at my school said there is away to perform the Mega deathball but I'm not sure. If anybody knows this for a fact please let me know. Cell's voice should be deeper in his Perfect form anyway. And this is to the Company who made Dbz Budokai: Make sure that if you make A Dragonballz Budokai 3 that you include all 4and cyborg forms of Frieza
and give him and some of the other villians more devestating moves.
Frieza's moves should be:
1. Form 1
2. Form 2
3. Form 3
4. Form 4,50% and 100%
5. Deathball{small one}
6. Mega Deathball{really big one that can destroy earth}[ha ha]
7. Deathbeam x's 1
8. Deathbeam x's 2
9. Deathbeam x's 3
10. Energy disk
11. killer ball
12. Meteor Crash,Evil dance Etc.
All and all he should have a total of 16 or more techniques
P.s If he can do the Mega deathball in DBZ Budokai 2 the other opponent should be able to hold it,or throw it back and another thing Frieza can do the deathball in his first form too.

The Sayians of the Game should be more detailed also Goku should be able along with Vegeta should be able to go SS2 and also after the Cell saga on Tv they had the heaven saga and I think in that saga you should be able to fight with Pikkon and go down in Hell to train by fighting Frieza,Cell,The Ginyu force{1 by 1}
and King Cold . I know it sounds stupid but give me alittle credit.

i think budokai is the best game ever for dbz cool characters sweat moves (my favorite is burning attack for trunks) in budokai2 there adding buu saga and fusion techneck and there will be dragon mode where u pick four charaters and find the dragon balls before the villion dudes do it has what if fusion (like if yamcha and tien fusioned) super saiyan 2 and 3 for goku also u can upload the stats u have on budokai and put them on budOKAI2 BUT U WILL LOSE EVERYTHING ON BUDOKAI1 so go and the came (budokai2 is coming out in december)

Dragonball Z Budokai is probably the best DBZ game there is. It has kept really loyal to the T.V show and unlike some games based on shows or films, it hasn't been just a little like the film/show, it has almost everything in it. The reason that this game kicks arse, is the fighting part itself. The moves are easy to grasp and once you have grasped them with one character, the others have the same moves, so you dont just get good with a certain person, like on most games, but you can now play with everyone. The gameplay is also really simple, and unless you a comlpete morron and have never heard of DBZ you'll easily understand how to play. What else I liked is that there aren't any real cheats so you have to play it and get good at it instead of just winning in one move or something. Some bad things about this though, bring the game down quite a bit. The worst of all for me is the voice. Most people like it and if you've seen the Japanese versions or something you'll be glad to hear that they've kept the Japanese voices, but if you're like me and have only seen DBZ, you'll be a bit dissapointed because the voices are all high-pitched and sound incredably stupid, for example completing the game the first time, you have the cut scene, where Gohan and Cell each do a kamehaemeha on eachother and Goku talks through King Kai. This was one of my favourtie episodes on DBZ, but on the game I couldn't take it seriously because Goku's voice was childlike. Another thing with the way they speak is the subtitles. They are hardly ever proper Engilsh and don't normally say what they say on the T.V show. The only other bad thing about the game is that it's too short. They should have definately included Majin Buu. He is obviously the best character ever, he is soo babyish and fat, yet everyone is scared of him. Also it would make the character list a lot longer because there are 8 different versions of him and if you have the buu saga, you get Gotenks and Vigito (my other favourite character). Two good things about it apart from how super fun it is and the easy to grasp moves, are the graphics, that are awesome and realistic and the sound that unlike some games, matches the emotions of the characters. Also although the story line is short, there is so much to do because if you're a perfectionist like me and ant every capsual for everybody, that involves getting the dragonnballs 23 times. After playing as mmuch as I have, I have decided that the good points totally outway the bad and the gameplay, moves, laoalty to the stryline and so much more make this game the best in the DBZ series.

i think dragon ballz budokia is one of the most outstanding fighting games to hit stores the other DBZ games!!! sucked like dbz final bout blows the grphics are awsome like when gohan trunks vegeta goku turn super saiyan's its sweet ohh and if u are wondering what happens when u get all 7 dragon balls it allows vageta to turn acended saiyan its sweet!!! (Vegeta i love u)!!!!

This game is the best Dragon Ball Z game so far. The graphics are incredible and they all have there own voices. The story mode I great too beause it feels like your in the show. I like the part when Cell absorbs Krillin. One thing that isn't cool was when I first started Hercuel beat me and theres no Videl common oh well This is the best game ever I actually bought 6 more for all of my friends. I like the fact that when you are battling in the tournament you dont keep battling the same guy untill you beat him twice like other games. This is even more like the show this way. For you can only battle untill you are knocked out. The one thing that would be cool is if you could train there skills stronger. You know level up, like make there attack stronger, defense better, and there speed faster. And you should now be able to play 4 players and, or train with two players to learn fusion after sertain levels. These are all new gesters for the next game they come out with. Even tough this game is still the best of this era. Signed the best of the best.

this game is great but it was realy easy the day i got it i beat it in like 2 hours and i have gotten all the skillz the duel mode is my fav but they should have its when you play as a sayian you get better every rematch and in the story mode you dont play as trunks well i play it every day so it dont matter i hear that the 2nd one is coming in ... Sh!t i forgot but its like a 100$ oh ya i hate saying bad stuff about this but theres one thing i dont like about thr game you could beat anybody with anybody like if you were cell and you fight krillin you could lose thats like the dumb

I thought the game was pretty fun. The graphics were pretty much the only thing in the game that made it unique. But most of all, it was just a regular fighting game with flying and energy blasts. It would have been a lot better if you could go to Super Saiyan 4 and 5. It would also be better if there were fusions like Gotenks or Gogeta. It shouldn't be so difficult to find all the dragonballs. There should have also been more sagas like Garlic Jr. and Buu. Overall it was ok, but try harder next time.

This game is the best Dragon Ball Z game ever! The graphics are great! It looked exactly how a game based on a cartoon should look. The fighting engine is good but it could have been a bit faster and have had more trademark attacks and moves for each character. But my biggest gripe was the fact that they left out various possible fights and characters. Trunks one of the best characters in the game had no chapters for him in the story mode. What about the battle he had with cell and the battle he had with Frieza when he first came back from the future? What about Piccolo versus Frieza? There also could have been more of those mini games after battles. There were many possibilities that were overlooked, like when Goku had to summon up enough power to form a spirit bomb big enough to defeat Frieza while Piccolo stalled Frieza for more time. All these ideas would have made the game longer and better. But the game does deliver and every Dragon Ball Z fan will love the graphics and cut scenes along with the voice actors and special moves that light up the whole screen and turn the stage into a huge crater. Definitely buy this game if you’re a fan of Dragon Ball Z and anime.

Dragonball Z budokai is a brilliant game, being the biggest DBZ fan ever i could not wait for this game to arrive, The story mode was great and they kept the original Japanese voices YES! My favourite saga was the radditz and freiza ones. Ive seen the sagas on TV and were great and in the game did pretty OK renactments. But i spotted a few downers in the game e.g. I dont remember Vegeta saying "Aunt sallies" during the android saga and whats with Majin Buu on the cover of the game? He's not in it God damn it!
Anyway The story mode is great although Ban Dai simply have no idea and have missed loads out (its been rushed) Tournament mode is brill no complaints really (win loads of money), Characters moves are awesome especailly the super saiyan transformations.
But because I hapen to be the biggest, ultimate Dragonball Z/GT fan of all time ever I rate the game a respectable 10/10 (it can't be helped). Remember if there is ever to be a next DBZ/GT game on the playstation 2 it better be by Funimation or else lol.

The graphics are really are a first class spectical. even better than the others. It needs to be longer so I'll have somthing to do all summer long. i would have liked to see what it'd be like to go up against Buu. Should have a wider selection of charecters like younger goku or older/younger trunks! really challenging perfect 4 a PS2 game lover like myself.

I rember when i first seen a preview of dbz budokai in a mag, i got so exsited i had to change my boxers. but then i realized that it wasent gunna come out for anouther year So i got depressed, so i waited entill the day it came out. When i put it in my ps2 i was so happy and the first impreshion was a good one. Being a DBZ FREAK !! i played it about 3 times straight through, i couldent put it down. The thing i loved most about the game is that i could make frieza win the story mode that made me a happy chappy. (im a MAJOR FRIEZA FAN) LONG LIVE LORD FRIEZA !! and cells dream was very cool. There were a few things i dont like about the game, like what happend to the rest of the ginu force, why cant frieza become all his forms like cell can, and why do they have buu on the back cover when you cant get him ? if you rember the raditts saga there is a little stage were goku has to stay in piccolos line of site, why dident they do more things like that ? i think it would have made the game alot more enjoyable. Over all me and my friends all have a good time when we play it. And if they brought out a second one id buy it the day it comes out. oh yeah if you think your good at the game you havent play me, with the lord him self FRIEZA.

There is no fun to this game. U cant counter any big attacks. The graphics are not good at all. This is not a good fighting game. The whole game is doing moves and powering up. Do not buy this game. I would not buy this game for 20 dollars. Maybe not even 10. The best part of this game is the characters and they all have there own moves. Thats about it.
