i think its awsome because u buy moves find dragonballs have items like a senzu bean but i think it needs the buu saga and have dragonball gt in it and its should let u turn into the giant monkey oozauro and u should be able to fuse also but i still think this game is the best ever. my 5 favorite characters are goku,gohan,vegeta,cell,trunks.

Dragon ball z budokai is a good game.but its missing some stuff.First of all Ithink the story mode should be longer. It should not stop at the cell games.they should have the buu saga in there.I think there should be more characters.Like goten, trunks, majin buu,gotenks and other good people.there should be more trasformations too.ss3,ss4. stuff like that. over all agreat game. fun to play but just missing some stuff.

I have to admit. I bought this game on the release date. I'm a DBZ fanatic. The graphics capture the bright , colorful world perfectly. Also the carachters are great. All my favorites (Except buu) are all in there. Also the replay value is great. Sure the story mode can be beaten in about an hour , the 250 capsules in the game adds depth. Also unlocking ss4 goku is a very difficult task even for me ( Who gets a perfect against very strong level people. So in a nutshell , dbz budokai is the greatest game for bz , and possibly ever.

Dragonball z is the best show , manga , game series ever. The great caracters , and their voices , make this game rock. Budokai has lots of depth. 250 capsules, unlocking hercule and saiyaman , and even getting the ss4 goku. Now that's hard (You have to win advanced tornament with everybody!). The graphics don't slack at all. I've had the game since the release date (And it's July 6) and i havent seen any glitches.So get this game even if you hate dbz . you'll have a great time.

i luved this game had cool characters and the value of the game was great except for the long loading between fights made me play it less and less untill i stoped playing all together. i also0 hear there is going to be a dbz budokai 2(which im looking forward too)this game is worth buying but only if ur a fan.

First of all, Dragon Ball Z Budokai appeals to all ages, which is great. Also this game will have you playing for more than just a week or two, it takes over your free time because you will have to be the best of the best to be able to unlock all the hidden secrets in the game. What more could a DBZ fan ask for, or any ps2 gamer for that matter. The graphics on this game are phenomonal. A+ for gameplay, like I said it hooks on to you and doesn't let go. The fun factor is no question--Awesome. Sound is great because it has the voices from the television show, not Japanese voices and they are clear as a bell. Originality gets an A on my account because all the other DBZ games are imports from Japan, first one ive seen in English. Lastly, and most importantly, the high speed velocity of the fighting is spectacular. This game rules.

Dragon Ball is a spectacular series that has one of the best story lines that i have ever encountered. This game barely skims the surface of what a DBZ game could and should be. I agree with many of the other reviews the game could of had a much better + longer story mode. Though this game lacked in many areas I am still a DMZ fan and I still enjoyed playing the game.

Ok when i first heard about this game i knew i had 2 get it cuz i love DBZ. the story line is really cool. it takes u from when u fight Vegeta 2 the Cell games. some of the characters u get r Goku,Vegeta,Krillin,Frieza,Trunks,Hercule,Gohan etc. the music is really cool although u dont really pay attention when u r playing this AWSOME game!!! i think they should of had more characters though(thats why i gave it a 9) in my opinion they should of had guys like Brolly,Bardock,Janemba,and Gogeta. but overall its a really really awsome game!!! plus they have Great Sayaiman!

To begin with I am not a fan of Dragon Ball Z so this might seem like im "hating" on it but im trying to be fair. When i first played this i thought it was pretty cool, never before could you play these characters with it looking good. But after playing it for a little i felt very limited. There are only three buttons to fight with and that limits your combos very much. There is only so much you can do with one kick button one punch button and a power button. And all of the characters have almost the same exact moves. That gets very tiring after playing with one character and going to another when there is no difference between them. You might as well pick one character and stick with him/her. So i recommend to rent this game and not buy it, unless of course you are a Dragon Ball Z fan then this is probably like a stick of gold to you. -Matt The Afghan

dbz is the best game out there but i would have loved it much more if you could have been able to fly around anywhere blowbuildings up basically do what you can do in the cartoon when the next one come out i really do hope its going to be like that cause im telling you from now everyone will love it much better i know i will if people read this im sure they will agree with me.

This game is amazing and I agree with a lot of you when you say they should have more characters.The second reason it's not all that great is because you can only put up to seven slots in the skills menu and I say that's not enough.The final reason is that I beat this game in 1 week and sure was it easy and there is not thing left to do except win tournements and after awile that gets boring.

O.K. cool game. Its DBZ, + all those fighting moves, going to SSJ, being tons of cool characters, all around good game. It needs a little bit better graphics though. Also its short, took me only seven hours to get everthing. Its still one of the best anyway, beside the little short-graphic flaw. In conclusion its the best Ps2 game I own.

I dont know why all these people are complaining about were it ends. Half of the people that do complain, I am guessing have not seen every episode straight through. Also if you have ever played Ultimate 22 for PSX you know were I am coming from. Another thing to think about is that companies dont stop making games after they put ONE out. this is just when Bulma, Gohan, and Krillin land on Namek for the game story. the best is on it's way. But hey the game is good. Like it I do.

This game is so cool. I love it. there r hardly any flaws like it has great grapics, but its very short,easy moves, but voices are bogus they never even change......But other than that it's gggggggrrrrrrr8888888. Goku is the best fighter to me. he has the easiest and most powerful attacks.

dragonball z bodukai is a tight game i would rate this a nine the attacks could be better the kamehameha is just a huge blast instead a line of it and they rush the attacks.The voices sound just like the real thing. the transformations are gr8 but its a shame that goku only has king kai fistx2,5,10 and super saiyan,
yep,thats right no super saiyan 2,3,4 for those who think theres a super saiyan 4 goku you're dead wrong and if there is give me the codes. there could have been better by the characters,sagas,and the skills.the combos are a little hard the story line really rushed i almost beat the who game in two days all i have to do is get great saiyaman in tournament and beat that hercule thing.the battles in the story was they battles are so so so so so so so so so so easy they hardest thing is the freiza part and the special beam cannon where you control goku to position raditz on the line in the eight seconds thats all.there should be more than 60 combos per a character and more than 5 modes Battle mode where you 1 on 1. tournament mode where you compete for money(zenie) to buy skills.story mode when you do the story.hercule mode when you try to meet the stats of hercule you fight all the 11 people in the cell games yamcha,tien,krillin,gohan,cell,goku,piccolo,android 16,vegeta,android #18 and #17. also practice mode you should know what you do here

This is a great dbz game but the next should have all the heros and villans.All the sagas,and maybe make a movie story mode with all the movies and dragonball budokai has great fighters,but should have gone to the buu saga. It has great music and battle areas my favorite fighter is goku with his breakthrought and fravorite battle ground is namek. If your a dbz fan this is a got to get game and i say this is the best dbz game there is.

This is definetly the best dbz game ever existed, even better than db gt final bout. I like that one but this is a whole new story, graphics are cool, the voices are awsome, it's like watching the tv serie, the gameplay could use a little work, I think is a bit to simple, there aren't to many movements and tricks, but I still like it. But what I like the most is the customize character mode, I dare someone to fight against my super vegetta, he's completly indestructable. You can increase the attack's power by putting more capsules in it, it's really fun. Oh, the story line is also cool. The point is that I really enjoy playing this game, and I encourage every single dbz fan out there to buy this one, trust me, your gonna like it.

I love the game, personaly i have some bad points. I think you should be able to fly at will. I would rather to have the entire sagas in the story line as playable characters. I really dislike how Cell's voice doesn't change during gameplay at perfect form, that really ticked me off. I don't like that the move such as continuous kamehameha and meteor break are the same with every other character. Another good point is that you should be able to turn to the monkey form or should I say Ozura. When two blasts meet like galic gun and kamehameha that exsplode in a cloud of dust. That was great, but it would be better if when they collided you could push the enemeys blast back and forth and the person who could tap X or something faster would be the victor. I also think that you should be able to charge a blast at will like charging you fist or leg in the game. The voices are great but it would be much better if they said numerous things in an upcoming battle. The visuals are great and the gameplay is one of the best that I have ever played.

The voices on here are like the real ones from the show. They sound like it came off the show but the bad part about it is they don't move there mouth right for the words. When they are talking sometimes there mouth is closed and there talking but besides that the VOICES SOUND JUST LIKE THE SAME OFF THE SHOW!!!!
