I think the game was awsome and that they need to make more of these or a DragonBall Z Bundokai 2 for Playstation 2. I think the game had good graphic and i felt like you were that person and using their own attacks and speical moves. I would put this game between 1-10 I'd say (10) being the best of them all. Thanks for showing me how well you guys put the playstation in it's place.

I played all kinds of Dragonball Z games. From the Super Nintendo to the Playstation's GT but this by far is the best. I especially like how even Hercule (who doesn't get as much credit as he deserves) can fight the best of em like Cell and Goku. Granted there are some things that should be better. You should be able to have all the S.S. be able to make S.S.2 considering they all did (cept vegeta but he still would be cool S.S.2). What else i think it lacks is Maijin Buu. Granted they haven't finished it on TV yet but I would've loved to play through the Maijin Buu Saga (that's what sequals are for i guess). Anywho, all in all it is the best Dragonball Game yet.

I am and have been a huge and loyal DBZ fan for a long time and so far this is the best game there is on DBZ. Sure there are a few things to improve, but irregardless it is a good game and to perfect a game like DBZ to the exact detail would take till like 2010. The supersaiyin transformaition could have better and they could have went up to at least SS3, but these things happen in video games. It would have been nearly impossible to make these things exact and if they were could you imaging the loading times?? I think overall it is a sweet game and I know a lot of hardcore DBZ fans who would back me up. So that's my review, contact me if you want. JAY

I love the game even thought it is short I still love it I really like the Frieza Battles but the only set back to me is why cell can go through all his forms but all we can do with frieza is go from 1st to 4th.( No 2nd or 3rd) Thats my only set back. I love it when you can trade skills with diffrent characters like Frieza's Death Beam to Android 18. I think its the best the Fundimation Company needs to make another one with the Buu saga Characters like the Surpreme Kai, Goten , Majin buu Etc. all the way to The end of Gt. And one more thing every battle should be long cause to me the Frieza battle and with Trunks was to short and so was the Cell saga. And in the next game they should put in the movie characters too. I Love the way they made Vegeta and Goku and Cell Look they look alright. But this is to the Fundimation company or whoever made this Frieza's voice is not that light ( Okay maybe in his 1st form but not his 4th.

notice i said "loved"..when i got the game i was all whoopie dee doo about it..playin it 24/7..but then you realize how little you have..i love DBZ!..my favorite cartoon of all-time!..but there is jus SOOOO much more you can do to make it better..i would give examples..but maybe some other time..after a week..it gets played out..every month or so after that you might take it out..and play once in a while..but damn!..i wanted it to be long-lasting..i mean i still play madden 2003!..and when did that come out?!..dats a game with stamina!..budokai is an enjoyable game..but a gamer lyke me is always hungry..and i'm talkin bout food..what the?!

it took me for every to beat friza with ss goke when friza was at 100% but after that story mode was nto that hard btu the work turniment is way to cheap the ring out me off i am at like full health and my opponit is at like 0 and all he dous is kick me and i am out i mean how cheap is that i got all the seceret carecter besides saiyman and hercule (who wants hercule any way) well i think it would be cool if they had the form of sell when he qwas fused with killen that was a cool form and cell junoir woudl be cool and the sibermen well the game it self kicks a$$ and if u liek dbz u should pick it up.

Budokai is over all awsome. besides for the fact you cant jump duck or fly, or dodge spec attacks this game is good. also story mode is kind of short, if they would have at least put in Dragonball and made it more then fighting maybe add an RPG mode or something it would have been better.

this is the only fighting game i really like...it has easy combo's...and i love DBZ...Goku is my favorite character and i love that he is the strongest in the game...for some reason...i think ssj2 gohan should be the strongest because he is after the cell games...but for some reason they made goku the strongest...my favorite attack is the Warp Kamehameaha too...and the breakthough for goku is sweet...it makes your specials more powerfuller...and you get all your specials and abillity attacks...:)

Yeah at frist it rocks but after a little it get's boring i can not beat turniment mode on adpet it is hard as $hit i but i ownt to get all the charector but i think it needs more lvl to fight on beacuse that is like only 7 and they are not very good stages.the ring out rule is really cheap too. it would be cool if insted of hercule u got gotanks that would rock and if u could go to ss lvl 3 with goku. too make it short the game could be better but it is the best on i have palyed so u should chek this game out

After 5 years in anticipation for another dragonball game to come out for the playstation and ps2, it has finally been done and i must say i am most impressed by everything the game has to offer. Graphics were great, gameplay is great, characters are awesome. The thing i hoped for is a training mode where you can build up your character from a low level to a high one like in final bout, like do some training in the hyperbolic time chamber with the high gravity to reach a new level of power or training in the mountains with piccolo, or training in a gravity room like vegeta, that would have made the game even better. All in All, the Game is a definite buy for any dragonball fan, believe me they will not be dissapointed

This game is the bomb! The good thing is the story mode. They have the story with Raditz' attack, the saiyans, Vegeta and Nappa, Freiza, the Androids, and Cell. The thing they could have done better is that you should be able to turn them into a ssj3 or a ssj4. You can only do a ssj2 with Gohan(He became a ssj2 when killing Cell). You should be able to have fusions to! The graphics and gameplay is really good though. Especially the Martial Arts Tournament. The playable characters are kid Gohan,Teen aged Gohan, Great Saiyaman, Goku, Hercule, Recoome, Captain Ginyu, Piccolo, Cell, Trunks, Freiza, Andrd. 19, 18, 17, and 16, Tien, Yamcha, Nappa, Vegeta, Zarbon, Krillin, Raditz, and Dodoria.

Another DBZ game. The only difference this time is.... This one's GREAT!!The graphics are great, the sound and voice acting... WOW!! A DBZ fan couldn't ask for more. A new feature added is you can customize the character to be full on defence by giving 'em Senzu Beans, armour, OR you can make them a one move killer by giving 'em Kame Hame Ha two or three times (for Goku) OR you can make them a combo attacker. This is a game no DBZ fan should miss. Even if you're not a fan, this game will get you addicted for the next couple of months.

this is by far the best dragonball z game...so far they have to come out with a sequel. adding new things( such as the buu saga and as well as characters from movies like BROLI)However their are a few things missing(but i guess thats what the sequel is for) like training it was one thing that made the dragonball games different from other games now they have capsules/cards that are like pokemon. they should have you train when you wanna play against your friends.another is you weren't able to fly on your own someone had to hit you in order to fly. some of the ginyu force members were missing,or tien's tri beam attack, or his multiplying himself attack.I like the way they brought the dragonballs in the game aswell. FINAL THOUGHT ON THE GAME. although it is an amazing DBZ game compared to the others they still need to improve on it.

budokia is the best dbz game so far,but they should of inclued the buu saga right to the end where goku kills kid buu.my faverite character is trunks and when trunks turns into super/super 2 his hair should go longer and it should of had build up mode just like finel about.I think it should involed a tag team so you can use fusion with any character,it's cool when you can by moves instead of figuing the moves out.but what i cant understand is why that goku is the strogest character and when gohan defeats cell and his ssj2.im clad they put the dragonballs on but sometimes its takes the mick coz its takes alot of time to get them.budokia is the best game i think but the next game please insert the buu saga!!!!!!!!!!

This game is Absoulutely Perfect. You get a chance to battle against all of the opponents up to the Cell Games Saga. With many Characters to choose from and the new skills. Its Graphics are Marvelous compared to its brothers from the Snes. You actually feel like your in the game and that you can beat the game if you try your best. I only see pros about this game. Its graphics are Perfect, Sound is Superb, Gameplay is Awesome, And I would say you get more than you pay for. If you are looking for a game that gives you the freedom to edit characters skills and lets you actually have a challenge, you can find everything in this simple little( Or should I saw Fun and big) game. This is truly, the best game EVER!

DBZ Budokai was really surprising. At first I thought the game wouldn't be that great. The game was awesome when i first played it. It has many secrets, and it takes a long time to beat. (when i say beat, i mean get every single move for all costume characters and everything else, including super saiyan 4 goku) The game was really great. Awesome voice acting. Really good sound. They could have allowed you to fly, the only thing i didnt like was not being able to fly unless you were thrown up into the air. But other than that, the game rocked!

I think that this game could of been alot better. All though the graphics were good, the story mode i beat in one day. The sound is good. But the game is so easy to beat, and it gets so old fast. Even though you can unlock ss4, for goku,it takes so long to do that, i mean it would be alot easier if the stupid game didnt get so old so fast. I mean come on, were the heck is Buu. That is the gayest part of them all. Why the heck does it only go to cell, i mean the buu's are the best part in the whole show. That is the part that makes me so mad, nobody likes cell, everyone wants to see Gotanks and get to beat the Buu's. And in the show Goku is not the only one that goes ss4, gotanks does it too. And the game is alittle childish for me. And the whole game is about collecting dragonballs, and when you do it, nothin really happens. Wow, you open all the moves for a character, big deal. So for all you losers out there that think this is a good game, think again, maybe that is a sign for you to grow up you faggits. And one more thing, why the heck is hercule even in the same game as these guys, come on, in the show he is just a loser dude that gets in the way. So why would you put him in the game and not Chowsue. That is dumb just like the rest of the game.

DragonBall Z Budokai is excellent. The story mode is very short but that doesn't matter. Once you have completed this you can always try the tournament mode. Here you can win ziene which goes towards customising your favourite characters. A really good touch has been added allowing you to summon the dragon which will grant you a wish. Also the fact that you can transform during battle makes the game that bit more exciting and origional. One of the best features on the game in my view is that you can customise your favourite characters adding to them as you progress in story mode.In fact the only faults that I can find with this game is that there is no Buu saga which means no Vegetto or Super Saiyan 3 Goku. This is a must have for Dragonball Z fans, but unless you are familiar with the series this game will confuse you as it dosent explain everything that goes on in story mode. Then there is the burst mode which requires you to batter the analogue stick and hope that you win. Then there is the move movies which happen with all the mojour moves like the spirit bomb. Most gamers will find that it lasts a bit longer than other games as there are 23 charachters to test your limits on and things like new transformations and moves to keep you glued to the screen. The reason that I liked this game was because I like the series and I like over the top moves and transformations and taking on the worst enemies such as Cell and Frieza. Lets hope though that if they make a sequal to this then Margin Buu will be in it.

Dragonball z budokai must be the best game out there. The story mode is really fun, the tournamate mode is awesome, everything is awesome!!! It follows the story line of the cartoon series except in 3-d. you must buy this game if you dont have it. There are quite a bit of secrets & you can get ss4 goku & every character pretty much. It has every characters moves & gives them moves that arent even in the show. you would understand it more if you watched the show.
