i think this game is great but i have one problem wih the game,i have had the game for about a week now and i am just wondering if you beat the generals already unlocked,do you unlock more generals or what? please let me know.
there are some magor glitches in the game,it is an rpg type game that i play for roughly 10 to 12 hours a day at a time.if you have an answer to my question,please email me at t_stevens2< remove me > at hotmail.com
there are cheats for this game that are fakes that i thought that i should warn other gamers about befor they find out the hard way.

A couple ofr months ago (okay, mabye years) I borrowed this game off my firend, and it was called Dynasty Warriors 3. Oh my god it rocked, I just couldn't soipt playing it! Even Devil may cry 2 was no match for this awesome beast of a game. But then i had to give it back. That sucked, but then I bought the expansion pack and it has save conversions! I am currentlyt looking for my next dude to "max out" (get all their stats full), I have now 19 ppl with full stats, all items and all weapons. But, i can't figure out why everyuone says Lu Bu is best, Since when has Lu Bu been better than Gan Ning??? Gan Ning would whoop his arse! His mosou attack hits 'em about 10 times in less than a second! THe bodyguards in this game are heaps better, but I still prefer to use a dude instead. YOu juts cant say no to double mosou attacks.

This game is all that. It took a long time to beat the game cause i kept dieing(i had it on Hard, crazy me.) but all in all, this game rocks. The graphics are good, the sound rocks, the gameplay is tight, the lifespan could use some work, the fun factor scale with 1(pittiful) - 10(Great)i would give it a 10. It's orginality is tight, the value is good. I would say that this game is da bomb.

A good upgrade for your DW3 disc. With new features such as 5th
weapons, alternate costumes, and bodyguard weapon/item upgrades, this game becomes even more addictive than the first.I gave it an eight, but only because the level maps are pretty much the same.However, new intros, cut scenes, and stage settings(i.e. battling during day as opposed to night and vice versa)seem to make up for this. Also,being able to name your own bodyguards is just soooooooo cool!!! 8-9 stars!!!

This game teaches even as you play... heck I've learned all of their names in under two weeks maybe even less... but to get to the real point... My favorite character in the whole game out of all of the series would hands down have to be Gan Ning (indicating the name of course). But my favorite army of all time is the Shu because of it's symbol as the dragon warlords... (although that may not be what they are called it does not matter for that is what I think)... but anyway... To all of the Dynasty Warriors out there... e-mail me if you just wanna talk about the game or need any specific hints about any of the series... This is Gan Ning heading off into battle

When I bought this game I played and I woke up in the midnight almost everyday!!! My favourite character is Lu Bu anyway, I beat Lu Bu with Guan Yu, Zhang Fei and Xiahou Dun!!! Lu Bu is really hard though. Anyway, this game is so freaken cool!!!!
I got all 5th weapons and I recommend you to go to yahoo and find 5th weapon easily because once you get 5th weapon, it's so easy to defeat any generals.

ok now DYNASTY WARRIORS is like the so bomb game to play it has the the $#< remove me > at ! music its cool to know everyones name like myself i only learnent how to say their names propley for like a i think less then 2 weeks....anyway the reason u should by this game is that well u can be a good strdigest like Zhuge Liang,Sima Yi,Zhou Yu or like Lu Xun..it cool when u learn the ropes and if u get better at it u can easley beat the other side...oh yeah well if u want to start good u can use Lu Bu for startes cause he his strong to start with but im not the type of person that likes Lu Bu cause he might be fast and strong but he sucks to da days for me!!!my brother just said "ur a girl and u suck at using boys,im da bomb at using him so dont try!!!" well i got pissed off when he said that but later on,,,i was getting to master nealy all the boys and i allready mastered the girls...and i even mastered Lu Bu which was so cool cause i bumb out my bro bigtime the the hardest boy to master is Gan Ning i can master his simpel moves but the worse thing about him is his MUSOU!!! far out every time i do his MUSOU i get him out of control he is just like Xiao Qiao they allways move alot it only took me about 2 weeks to master Xiao Qiao's MUSOU but For Gan Ning i think it took me only 3 weeks to master his one....oh yeah my best people are mainly Da Qiao,Gan Ning(MY 2 BEST)Jiang Wei & Diao Chan so i kind of like them all...so yeah

I think this is the first add on game I have ever seen. And it’s a good appetizer for things to come. But the only 2 down sides to this game is your bodyguards have to be alive to advance them and only the characters that could be used in musou mode and they are yuan shao, zhang jiao, meng huo, zhu rong, dong zhuo, diao chan and lu bu not like the dw3 (dynasty warriors 3), but its an add on to it. The up side is all the data from dw3 like weapons, items, leveled up characters, but not points or leveled up bodyguards. But even with all this it’s a nice add on.

First this game is the best because its addicting and has you trying harder and harder to perfect your characters. The sounds and graphics involved are extreme as the name suggests but the gameplay is where it all comes in. In order to unlock new weapons and more items you have to play the game on harder modes, which makes you intent on being the best with one or two characters. If you liked any of the other Dynasty Warrior games this one is definitely for you. Along with the gameplay is the main thing with games--FUN. This game has no flaws when it comes to that. If you like action games, role playing games, or just games where you thrash enemies, this is the game of the century.

This is a great game over all but there could be more levels because there just the same levels from DW3 any more than that this is one of the best games its addicating, graphics are great, and the storyline is fun to play along with. Evan though i beat the whole game in like 2 days it was still fun to play like getting 4th and 5th weapons and secert items is fun to get. If any of you Dynasty Warrior players out there need help on getting 5th weapons e-mail me.

I've been playing this game for a while now and i've got just about all the ppl to max stats. Very hard is hard alright but with Lu Bu i've never lost a match. Gan Ning is cool too cause he's the only person who has almost beaten me. He kept doing his musou on me and wouldn't stop. Lu Bu to me is the best player in the game followed by Gan Ning, Pang Tong, Cao Cao, and Liu Bei. They are all my favorite, but Lu Bu beats all of the no sweat. If i'm trying to get 5th weapons and i can't do it cause the person isn't at max stats then I just choose Lu Bu to help me out. I've already got everybody's 4th weapon(which was very easy) and i've gotten most ppl's 5th. Lu Bu is a good character to choose if you're just starting out. i've never lost with Lu Bu and i dont' plan on starting now.

I think that this game is the coolest game ever. I think the other kid that wrote about this game is completly wrong. obviously, not such a great fan of dynasty warriors and is completly misjudging the game the coolest thiing about this game would have to be the fact that there is a harder dificulty setting and that they changed all the levels and made hulo gate not snowy anymore. When i first played Dynasty warrior 2,i loved it.DD3 Extreme Legends is Cool!I played it all night,when i first bought it.I always play Ma Chao,because he's cool.people's voice's on the game sucks,Lu Bu got a retarded voice,when he talks.I wish there be a free mode that first,and the second player fight against each other,and not be teams.Yea i like fighting side by side,but i wish they have that "not teams"too.In march Dynasty warriors 4 come out.Hell YEA.Keep making!

Dynasty Warriors Extreme Legends is a great game. Just the fact that you can play with new characters in Mosou mode is great. Anyone who does not like this game obviously has problems with accepting that there are games out there that are awesome. The great things in Extreme Legends is that they have made it more into an RPG game by all the options with the bodyguards and new items, while still keeping the game fun. If it had become a total RPG game, it would have been ruined. That shows how well thought out the game is. I have to give it up to the designers of the game; Extreme Legends is one of hte best games i have ever played. Being able to interact with Dynasty Warriors 3 is also a great feature. Overall, this game is an awesome game. There are probably a few ways that it could get better, but hey...its fun how it is and im sure that it satisfied a lot of people. I know it satisfied me. If you do not have this game, go buy it. It's worth the 30 bucks.

Let me start off by saying that this freaking game is the shizzlenit! Me and homie have stayed up playing this game until the wee hours of the night! Lu Bu, Zhou Yu, Zhang He, Gang Ning, and Zhou Yun are the best genereals in the game! The new challenge modes kick ass, although they could've kept the other ones as well. I hope DW4 is even better than the previous one! Lu Bu's Sky Scorcher is unstoppable!!!!!!! I love this game!

Never having played any of the other DW's, I tried this out at the recommendation of a friend. The amount of battles, goals, hidden characters, items, and weapons... I'm still in awe. I've never seen a blending of Action, Tactics, and RPG style gaming done so well. Seeing 2000+ troops on a battle field all moving independantly is poetry in motion, and the rush you get when you beat a general, especially one as tough as Lu Bu, will almost make you shed a tear. Hands down one of the best games on the PS2 and I'd recommend it to anyone who, like me, thought it was a generic action game.

This is the best game i have ever played! i liked dynasty warriors 2 and 3 but this is the best. graphics have improved and you can play musou mode with 7 new generals and it alows you to load data from dynasty warriors 3 so you can play the origional with customized bodyguards and new 5th weapons, there are new challenge modes and more items and there are bodyguard items too! and you can change the costumes and make the generals go all unco! my favourite general is Zhang He, he's the coolest. This is the best game ever!

I first played Dynasty Warriors 2 at my friends house and was blown away by it,the carnage,the stratagy.Then,i played DW3 at my friends house.I saw DW3 Xtreme Legends in Game and snapped it up immediately!!!.me and my brother have spent hours hacking and slicing our way through it.The carnage and the fact the other soldiers make their own way through battle without you doing anything is brilliant.3 words--Buy this game!!!!!!!!!

This game is great i have spent a very long time completing it with all the people i have being trying to get the 5th weapons but it is too hard this game is a must buy if you like all out killing and a bit of stratagy.I baught the DW 2 and loved but DWXL is 10 times as good.

Dynasty Warriors 3 Extreme has pretty interesting eptic battle scenes, however, its still makes gamers feel bored, because the same battle field are presented. Fortunately, the game does provide different variety of characters and their tactics can be used in all formation. I found it addictive to stop playing, becuase of all the items presented. Kind of makes the game interesting, but I still believe the game needs improvement on graphics. The overall design needs to improve as the storyline. Frankly, its a magnificent sequel to 3, but I was hoping something new would be invented. I'll just wait until the fourth game comes out.
