I loved Dynasty Warriors 4! It has to be one of the best games I have played. It is a lot different from all of the other D.W. games. On this one you can create your own officers, and you can edit your bodyguards. Another cool thing is that you can choose the color of your bodyguards uniforms. One thing I was disappointed in was that you couldn't control the new military vehicles and weapons... you only get to destroy them; it's a fun game though. I highly recommend Dynasty Warriors 4.

This game is probably the best game made for ps2 and this is no doubt the BEST dynasty warriors yet.This is the type of game that makes people know that there isnt a game better. Right when i got the game i expected it to be good but not as good as Vice City or any other game but i found out when i got the game that a game thats better than bloody violence and revenge is a game that includes thought and stategy. This game has everything a game like vice city doesnt.The people who think vice city is better think that only because of the violence and the stealing and probably the sex too but i think that they should GROW UP! Dynasty Warriors 4 all the way!

This game is awsome! The AI is much more challenging, the characters look better than ever, and the duels are awsome! But even with all these inprovements, it still seemed like I had played the same enviroments that I played in DW3. Also, I hate the fact that they made my favorite chariters is stupid looking outfits. Like Zhou Yu, who was in full armor in the last game, now looks like he is wearing a toga.
The Bottom Line: Newbys will love this game, but sesoned vets will be left shaking their heads.

This game is osum. I only have number 3 and 4 and and number 4 beats number 3 by a mile!!. only number 4 will let you make your own warrior. Your warrior can have a sowrd a pike and a spear. and you get to put osum gear on him. this game is deffently the best out of the series. the graphics are so cool and so is the music. the best part vis the wars really happend. They just added the majic in it to make it more fun but Liubay coa coa sunjion where real people and so where all the other officers.this game is so cool i garinteed you you will love it.

OK what really gets me is that too much people dont pay much attention to this game. THE DYNASTY WARRIORS GAMES ARE BASED ON ACTUALL PEOPLE!!!!! BASED ON AN ACTUAL NOVEL WRITTEN BY A PERSON WHO KNEW ABOUT THE THREE KINGDOMS!!!!! Yes i am not kiddin g there was a real zhao yun and a real lu bu. i have known this info since the first game ever came out. and i have the real novel called romance of the three kingdoms that is why koei keeps making the same storyline over and over again! because they coudln't change history! and i was also a wee bit dissapointed with the battle system. iit was almost exactly the same as the last two. so for all you losers who keep commplaining that the storyline is the same, you can just look at this review!!!

man this is the best out of all the dw games . number 3 was good but this game takes the cake well my Favorite player is Xiahou Dun with his big sword and his missing eye their may be others that are strong but he's the best in my book.

Dynasty Warriors 4 is one of the best games I've ever played(and most addictive) The Graphics are great not to mention the sound affects!I easily give it a 10/10:) You have to get this game if you don't already have. Theone bit of a thing i don't like about it is NOTHING!

I love the story, "Romance of the 3 Kingdoms" and I love this game. I do think that the graphics and sound need improvement, but it's trivial when you consider the current graphics and sound standard. What I REALLY love about the game is that there is NO MORE DISAPPEARING ENEMY GENERALS!!! WOOHOO!! I really HATED that bug.
This game definitely requires more strategy. I can't say how many times I've tried a new strategy only to find that reinforcements from REFRESHED gates have slain my commanding general(WUSS), thus ending my game.
Despite what you guys say, Huang Gai RULES!

dynasty warriors was the first ps2 game that i bought. my friend brought his ps2 over years ago and we woke up early in the morning (like at 5:00) just to play it! i fell in live with the game. if they make a dynasty warriors 5 ill surely buy it. i never play DW 1,2,3,or3xl but i bet they are cool too. you must buy this game!!

DW4 is the best of the series with amazing graphics, gameplay, characters and more!!! I reccomend it 2 any1 hu is lookin for a great game that has a long ife span. There is some repetition however it is fun repetition so the game does not get boring. There are loads of twists in the game aswelllike defecting officers who u thought wood never defect. 10/10

This game is the $#!% its got ok graphics but the game play its self is the most fun especialy since all the stuff they talk about in the story is true. exept for the weapons and charge attacks and musuo. The weapons we mainly strait swords bows and arrows and spears i think that pikes were there.Now u might bewondering why only one person in the gme has a Katana there are two good resons 1 the Katana originated in Japan and this story line takes place mostly in china.2 around that time were the story line took place the Katana was mostly used for show........this game rock's good bye

ive played alot of games in my life but this tops all of them hands down.the caricters, the levels, the mishons, the weapons, and all the action. this game IS the best!!!!! i cant wait untill they come out with the next one. that ones going to be great.

I love dynasty warriors! It has great graphics. I don't like how, when you hit your horse allies, they don't lose life. But that is basically the only thing I don't like about it. They shouldn't make the elephants see through. The hair should move alot more when you fight. You should be able to use, and have the choice of any weapon/item you want for ANY PERSON at any time in the game. I think the movie graphics could be a little better. I may sound picky ,but if they want to sell more, I think they should have these things in mind when they come out with another game(if they do). If it was my game, I think that you should be in charge of officers at some point as you rise through the ranks like real war times; and work your way to the top. I think you should be able to have a range of clothing; this goes along with more choices of facial features, body formes, weapons, and other decorations when you edit your person(same with body guards). So there you have it! That's my opion.

First of all, for those who said this game is boring in the previous posts and wanted KOEI to have brand new chars and stories and stuff, guess u guys dont know the stories about the three kingdoms. I personally think this game is much addictive than 3. this whole new item lvls and weapon lvls stuff, totally got me addicted. I keep playing in order to get the best items and weapons.Since I am already a fan of the three kingdoms, I really do enjoy killing enemies using my favo chars. And since every char has his own special moves and stuff, I change to play different chars once a while. This game wont get boring..thats for sure. For ppl who dont want to play single-line-story game, DW4 is ur first choice. Also, the graphic in this game is fantastic. All the chars' movements look pretty real and the color contract is well done. And one sweet addition is the custumes and weapons graphics. Chars have 6 custumes to choose from one u max ur chars. and the weapons have 4 stages just like DW3. Also there are alot more and more attractive features that will drive u insane. All I can say thats KOEI is the master of the three kingdoms game-making company, from all different device of arcade.

DW4 is not that good as it seem.The same people WOW! it could of been better.On top of it they got the same story line WOW!WEE! i could of made a better DW than that.LuBu was killed in DW3 how is he back in stronger.Infact every DW3 warrior was killed.NEXT TIME! try making NEW WARRIORS and a BRAND NEW STORY LINE.ALSO more graphics and make blood or fight on moveing boats.THEY ALSO need better masou AND THEN MAYBE YOU WILL HAVE A BETTER RANKING GAME OK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This game is brilliant! If you enjoy watching the bodies of your foes flying around as you drain you power gauges and swing your weapon around you will love this. This is the ultimate proof that a bunch of dead guys and a big war can be fun with rock music and magic using weirdos that cause rain. Great sounds and great graphics, and the gameplay is simple enough and it will rock you and your friends for a long time. I liked the part of chosing between limited items and riding animals. Especially the ELEPHANTS!! WOOT!
Guan Yu was my favorite and I have defeated all but the last of the campains. The one with that hairy jungle dude was frusterating, but in a way that made me want to try again to win! It took over an hour and I K.O'ed over 1000 and the important thing is, IT WAS FUN!
Hope you buy this game, cause if you don't, you would be missing alot of fun.

this game has improved in graphics, officers, body guards and game play.i love this game. i really like how they have the orbs and harnesses. the best characters are zhou yu, gan ning, zhang he and jiang wei. and for the ladies, zhen ji, diao chan, sun shang xiang. i like lu bu also, he could do the stick really good. da stick is when he puts you on the stick and then slashes you around then throws you to the ground. this game rocks!

This game has good graphics, better missions and it is harder than dw3 which makes it more fun. Zhao Yun, Zhou Tai, Lu Bu, and Guan Yu are the best!! They are $#< remove me > at !in sweet. They also kick ass!! Jiang Wei and Zhou Yu also kick ass too. My favorite mission is Cheng Du cuase this mission is, so challenging it is , so fun! Get the game cause if ya don't u missin a hell of a time.

Man this game is like so cool. its the best game i have ever played and i have played many games. this if my favorite game and its going to stay that way. i have played non-stop with this game. You should see my eport card, i went from an B+ student to a freaking d student. But who cares at least I'm having fun. Dude if there is more than 10 stars to grade this game. i would give it higher than 10. If only i was the producer of this game, i would be rich. Rich i tells ya!!!!! For all those people that doesnt own this game, get it now! Go Lu Bu!!!!
