Man!! Dynasty Warriors 4 is da bomb and mo!! The new improved graphix and sound and characters and levels and items and combos and weapons are all GREAT!!!:) the character edit modes is cool but the best feature is when you get your powerful character (Ma Chao Rocks!!) and you are surrounded hundreds to one you feel like you in the game, like you that character!! It is way 2 cool for words I give it an excellent 10 out of 10!! I am a bidg fan of the series, you got to try it!!

Great game. They have new generals and new weapons. I already deafeat Lu Bu in normal mode with Liu Bei. I need to get all characters and have all weapons. Great Game! This game was the one of the greatest game I ever played! Just think how hard Lu Bu to deafeat. You have to shield and watch his move if deafeat the mighty Lu Bu!

ok first of all this is very good maybe it can get a lil better but a game doesnt have to be perfect. the levels are bigger better and longer (wich i like). i like the way they have 6 diffrent costumes. and the new people whew zhou tai is awsome but still i like zhao yun. also u can ride elephants on any level. also thw one on one duels r awsome. this is way better then the 2nd and 3rd by a long shot.

Dynasty Warriors 4 is a big disappointment. First of all, it has very little improvements over DW3... Just 3 new characters and a few more levels don't add anything to the game. The new weapons system is lame too. You can't choose which weapon u want to use as in DW3 anymore. Weak. Sure, there are a few new moves and features... but thats about it... there is nothing revolutionary. Also, the biggest flaw is the AI and lack of stragety involved. Your allie AI is pretty decent but they still stand around too much. And the enemy AI, oh lord they are so stupid. They are fixed in certain locations throughout the battlefields and won't attack you unless u get in within 10 feet, how lame. The enemy AI no longer rush and attack together like in DW3 anymore. All you do throughout the whole game is attack one group of enemy while the others stand around and watch... when you beat them, you go on to the next group... pathetic. The enemy AI needs to be smarter, they need to attack together and reinforce each other like in DW3. The other thing is that Koei need to enable u to be able to command troups dependin on your rank... come on, u are a general for cryin out loud. You need to be able to command troops to follow u so you don't have to go alone and kill everyone by yourself. Its not a one-man army, your allie troops are there for a reason. Overall, DW4 is a big disappointment... theres really nothin drastically new... its the same old thing... Koei did not put any effort to revolutionize the game.

DW4 rocks but it does need inprovement. Like make a better edit mode and more charcters. Other then that it pretty much owns all other games simalar to it. Except for the phase ins and outs and the fact it gets slow way too often.I beat muso mode in like 2 days and ia almost beat it again.You should also be able to comand your own troops besides your bodyguards.If you havn't got it yet you should but if you can't at least rent it. Trust me it ROCKS!!!!!!!!!

im a big fan of the series and im pleased to say that it gets better!I got this game the day it came out and was hooked on it all night!The graphics of this game are spectacular,the soundis amazing and the playability is superb!There are new characters, new levels and you can create your owan character,what more can u ask for?I mean, sure there are some things that, can be changed,for example, you cant play your create-a-character in every mode...your health meter is still good and if you train hard you can be un-defeatable, so if you do not have this game, or have never tried it, I insist that you go out to the store and buy it! or if not that, at least rent it and give it a chance!

The very first time I played DW3 I could've sworn i was having an orgasm in mid-play I loved it, and thought "there is a god"...now DW4..good lord..as many have said the char editing can be a lot better, but everything just looks so amazing you would have to pry this game from my cold dead fingers if you wanted it, this game rocks....and yes it does always have the same story...but this is the same story that made all the others so great, and i have no problem that its the same :D go out and get this game now!...stop reading!...go get it!!

Dynasty Warriors 4 is the best game I have ever played. The game is really realistic and not that bloody.You basicly kill everyone in sight and get Items and power ups when you kill a high class general. You have some generals on your side and you also have bodyguards. The body guards get better as the game progresses and you get more of them. You can make your own character or just use the one's they give you.There are 16 maps and 40 different levels.Over all this game is a great game. The backround music is tight and it doesn't get anoying like other games. The only draw back in this game is you always get hit from behind when your triing to fight a general and you cant use you made up character in special challenges. This game diserves a 9 out of 10.

Man this is the best game on PS2.... This game is best compaired to the movie Brave Heart... Its not a shoot-m-n the back game but real man to man combat.... If you boys are not ready to play a real man game go pick up Rain Bow 6 or something and leave the real battles to the men.

This game is Excellent. Dueling adds an extra challenge to an already challenging game. Instead of just getting a new weapon you have to grow your weapons up levels which makes the game more fun. The stages are longer with more people you have to fight.The AI of the officers is better to. Instead of an officer that chases after you only in a certain area, an officer will chase after you much farther, if your low health and the officer catches up to you then your dead meat. Now instead of only having one stage to do,there are Acts,and in each Act there are around three stages so the game will last longer. And this will also help get your officer leveled up to prepare for the next stage. The graphics aren't really much better, and the editing part sucks! When you edit a character or bodyguard you go through about three of four steps and then its over. But overall this game is much better than its predecessors and I would reccommend that anyone should at least try this game out.

This game is the best one of the series, and it has new features like the edit mode. The only thing that stinks on this game is that no matter what type of group of guys u are, you always start at the same Act. Another thing is that Lu Bu is VERY hard. Even if you have the game on easy, he'll beat you up like uh sack of krap. it is a very good game, and I hope they make more. If you don't think this is a good game, then you're missin' out on stuff.

I thought the game was great. The characters looked great, the levels where beutiful, I thought the soundtrack was good, overall the game was much better then the rest in the seris. I thought the computer and bodyguard AI was better then in 3 but there was still times when i was standing right behind an enemy and they didn't even attack me. The slow downs do get irritating during fights and the phasing units can make killing a general difficult. While the kingdom mode is interesting I think it detracts from the character story line, so if you choose a different general you only get pieces of a story instead of the whole story. The edit mode was a nice add on but it seemed to lacking but I put this off as their first attempt and hope the next version will have more options avaliable to edit.(i.e skin color, hair, face, armor, weapon(sword, staff, club), fighting style,) Although I have talked alot of what i didn't like about the game I think all these points are minor details that could easily be fixed in the next edition. The only major issue I have is the slowdowns because thats been a problem in all them and they just don't seem to want fix it. Even with the problems above I still think the game is alot of fun and is worth the price. I would highly recommend this game to anyone who is a fan of the seris or to anyone who has never played it before.

Dynasty warriors 4 is a great game if you like statagy, adventure, fighting game. You can do impossible combos with awsome weapons like Tonfas, cresant blades, etc. But thre onley thing that i disagree with this game is that that put one of the strongest generals in the 5th level, Lu Bu! But if you trian a lot and raise your strength he's no prblem at all. You can choose from 3 forces Wie, Wu, and Shu. Over 40 charactors to choose from and you can win special generals like Lu Bu.

I'm a big fan of this series but i was very dissapointed with the newest addition. The only thing thats changed are some minor changes to the way you fight, a choice on male or female b guards, a weird weapon exp system(totally dumb), new character models, and 13 new maps. Sounds cool but theres really no diff than extreme legends. O ya did i mention there are 3 diff characters.... 3! DW3 introduced like 20 new characters. Its still mindless button mashing , no stradegy at all. You win in the amount of time it takes you to run the length of the map and kill every officer. I mean come on theres nothing new at all. It took koei a year to come out with this?? First of all, the new moves(falling triangle attack, taunt, and jumping off horse) should of been put in extreme legends and then DW4 should have new fresh ideas. I can't believe the onlything you changed in the flow of the battle are different messages and destroyable towers. No extra combos its just a match to see who can hit the most buttons. Its still like DW2 where your trroops sux ballz and couldn't defend themselves. I was hoping that there would be something added to this game to actually make it interesting.

Dynasty Warriors 4 is by far the best dynasty warriors. The battle system is great, and i think the characters are excellent. The voice of Wei Yan is cool, i like it. Lu Bu is one of my favorite characters too. i just unlocked him a few days ago. i am looking forward to seeing more Dynasty Warriors in the future. :)

The controls are good as usual. But they should have let me load my dyansty warriors 3 info because now I have to start it all over again. Personaly i think that they should have added extra items to do different new things. I'm still mad about them not letting me load my characters from #3. Other wise this game is a pretty good advancment from #3.

The story mode/ musou mode has a great plot and they improved it so i find that pretty cool. The makers also added a lot of new ways to beat the game and a ton of better graphics along with more objects in the battles unlike the plain feilds in dynasty warriors #3. I also like the idea that you can modify your own character and that you can modify your body gaurds too, i think that the makers should add on to this new idea and have more modes so that you can modify your character with more options. Other wise this game is a pretty good advancment from #3 and I was surprised when i first played it because i thought that it would have had more things added, plus i am really mad about them not letting me load my dynasty warriors 3 info onto #4. Sorry I'm repeating myself but I believe that if that was changed this game would have been a lot better.

This is a great game. It keeps me playing with all the stages you have to unlock and the items you have to find. I love the new costumes for the characters and the three new characters give the game a little variety. The edit mode could be a little better. I mean can't you at least put parts of costumes from the playable characters. A little could be done about the soldiers you command and the bodyguards you control. Make them run around a lot more and fight. I also like the game because it stays true to the original story. It's pretty cool that Koei made a war game that's based on real events and people. Overall, a very good game.

this game is so good that i speeled that word wrong. with 50 stages i will be rocking it ova spring break. ahh, graphics are amazing like eyob worku. 2 vicious, thats all i could say. 2 vicious, 2 vicious, 2 vicious, 2 vicious, 2 vicious, 2 vicious, 2 vicious. P.S.: i have bought it and each officer has 6 costumes. The weapon system is good and the only flaw is that each player has 2 many stages. The fourth weapon is like a secret with mesasge after a person does something special. It looks better and the orbs are 2 good. Why do people give this game a 7. Respect it!
