i think dynasty warriors3kicked ass but 4 is a little better for some reason.tha warriors rock like zhou tai,huang gai,zhoa yun,sun ce,lu bu,zhang liao,oh ya! the editing warriors kick ass too.the dueling is cool but when i play it it seems like the generals are a little stronger.you could fide on more horses like the elephant saddle.you have orbs my fav is the pioson orb.But i think that the new costumes are realy $#< remove me > at !ed up!the new people are cool like coa ren,yue ying, and zhou tia is bad he is my fav warrior i got his lv.10 weapon dusk and his stats all the way up!so if you hav the game or your thinking of buying it. here are some cheats.

zhoa yun,
play the battle of bo wan po on the hard difficult setting follow zhuge liangs orders until he says go to the bridge and guan yu will apear with an ambush party go inside the castle and kill every general exept for coa coa. then wait until it shows zhuge liang in front of coa coa and them talking the you will get zhoa yuns final weapon fierce dragon.
Xiahou dun,
play the battle of xia pi on the hard dificult setting dont kill anyone until it show xiahou dun get shot in the eye with a arow then go kill diao chan and you will get Xiahou duns final weapon Kirin fang!
Zhou tia,
play the nanman campiagn and rush dow with the red hare saddle and kill Wu tugu and then go inside the castle before Dong tu ne and Ahia nan switch sides then Zhou tia will get his final weapon Dusk.
edit mode Eclipse,
in order to get eclipse you need a level 9 pike from edit mode play the battle at hu lou gate on the hard dificult setting all you have to do is kill Lu bu and kill dong zhou dont let him escape.

i love this game it is the best game in the world i suggest everyone play it even if you don't think of trying i love b/c of all the beautiful graphics and also the nice looking character with nice awsome killing techinques that can be made differently in the cool and amzaing game. try try try try this game to those who haven't try. the first time when i saw it, i thought it was going to be boring but its not; it is soooooooooooooo amzaing and it rocks.my favy character is zhuge liang he is sooo smart and claim i love his mosuo and he himself (look) well his background was also very interesting not much p-ple like him but i do b/c he is like the backbone for shu. his rival is sima yi which is a very evil and awsome man too. i also like practically everyone else except for diao chan, dong zhuo, and zhang jiao they are horrible with their sloww movessss and thats all b/c theres not much to complain in this b-e-a-u-ti-ful game. and its un boring for the most part... every one who had played this game should be amazed by the skills that each charater have. muh muh muh (kisses) to the game and everyone who plays it b/c you all are so great for chosing the one and only great killing game in the world alrite bye.love you all

i play this game like, every day and i got all costumes for lubu and his 10th weapon.i love the graphics but don't understand why when the officers die their mouth really isn't moving. the forces i have unlocked are dong zouh, lubu, yuon shou, nan man, and yellow turban. i love all characters and harnesses but i only got the red hare harness. this is how you get it:
in musou mode start lubu and go to xia pi and when you go their find guan yu(puch start, go to unit info and push X on liu bei and go to guan yu.) when you see him start a battle with him and run away to the bottom right corner of the map where a lake is and there will be a walk way. go down it. you should see red hare. wait by it but don't ride it. just be patient and wait for guan yu DON'T LEAVE! when he gets there don't kill him and eventually there will be acene where he gets on red hare. kill him and there will be a black and red box. break it and you got red hare

DW4..i really don't find words when it comes to this game.I loved it when i first played it.I started from DW3 and i still enjoy it.The game is absolutely fabulous.I always wished to have something in ps2 that deals with history.DW is one great find.Thanx to KOIE and team.Thumbs up for you!The character designing is great and also the cg is remarkable.I loved almost all the characters but Zhao yun stands the best.I used to watch my siblings play this game.But i had no idea what exactly the game was about.The chinese names seemed hard to remember and the relation between the characters puzzled me.But i came to know that the game provides a section called 'encyclopedia' which tells you about the characters(generals) based on history.Reading about these people was absolutely fun.i didn't know how an hour flipped from my hands.Now i don'thave any problem remembering their names.I know more about chinese history.Most wonderful of all facts is even the kid of age 4 knows their names.It is for the first time i came across a game which suites for all age groups.

I totally love this game, i got it for my birthday last year and yet i still play it. It is better than DW3 because it has better graphics and better interactions. If you havent got this game then go get it now. I also like the game because you get different dressings for each and every characters. I also think that when your fighting the other generals are more active. I dislike the game because there should be more levels, hehe. The setting of the games are better than before and unlocking characters can be quite hard at times. Near the ending on Musuo modes they become really hard. Like more than 4 events can happen at a time which is really difficult to go to each one. I hope this review really helps you to get the game because it is totally awesome!! My favourite character has got to be Da Qiao. She is fast and has very good moves. My favourite level has to be Unficiation of Jing. I still havent completed the game because i cant seem to play as Lu Bu in the Musuo modes. Looks like my game must of crashed.

Slaughter! Crazy weapons! What else do i have to say? KOEI KICKS THOSE SQUARE ENIX CHUMPS IN DE BOOTY! The dialogue is still a little emberassing though. I mean, COME ON SUN CE, WHAT IS WITH YOU? "Pops"?(whats scary is my sister thinks that is cute) I am looking forward to #5. Dynasty warriors 4 is the best game ever. You can Make your own fighter and stuff. This game is way beter than the 1st 2nd and 3rd because the gameplay ane other things are beter. I like the way you can start a level on a horse but that is only if you unlock them. I'm telling you this game is the best you got to play it and trust me you will always want to play it. So you got to buy this game if you dont your mising out on all the fun. So dont mis out playing the best game bver. This game is worth the money so you got to get it and I mean you got to if you dont youe mising out in a lot of fun so buy it. Jost to let you know this is not a lie its the best so you got to get it ok. So if you get this game you will never want to stop playing it because it is the best!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I dont have much more time so I got to say this game is the best and you got to get it and there are the same fighters from the 3rd game so there is not a lot of new fighters. This game is amazing, but when the generals speak, the mouth moving is horrible, or it is like dubbed. Its a good and addictive game. Fun and Great. Dynasty Warriors 4 is awesome and if you never heard of it, ur screwed cause u just missed out on some great action.

Those generals are amazing.
Don't use cheats because thats very bad. The game is too good to cheat on...
Lu Bu, Xu Zhu, and Guan Yu are strong. Don't be generals that you don't think you would like because you might get pissed off and go mad or crazy. The levels or acts may seem difficult, but you know that you and your general can defeat, unless he/she is weak, then ur screwed.

I don't know why i hate them. I just don't like slow guys or guys who have specials of shooting stuff and the girl Yue Ying, i have no idea. I don't know why some people hate this game. In other games, there are just like guy heros or main characters, but in this game, the girls could rule this game, but there are just little girl generals in this game. There are i think 7 girl generals, but they are still amazing.

I just love Dynasty Warriors 3 and 4! I am so addictied to it. I've played that game for about 3 years but I never get bored. I think Da Qaio, Xiao Qaio, Diao Chan, Sun Shang Xiang, and Zhen Ji is the best characters for the girls and Zhao Yun, Ma chao, Lu Bu(because he is so powerful)and Jian Wei for the boys. I just love Da Qiao and Xiao Qaio's costumes. Their the cutest! I don't like it when Sun Ce calls his dad POPS because... isn't it embarassing?I would just call my dad by his name during battle. I have Dynasty Warriors 4 and extreme legends. They're both fun. I like Dynasty Warriors 4 better than 3. Well...because I can create my own bodyguards and officers. There are more stages than Dynasty Warriors 3. I couldn't get Dynasty Warriors 3 extreme legends. I couldn't find it. On this japanese comercial, I saw this new game that looks similar to Dynasty Warriors. I think it was called Sengoku Musou in japanese. I don't mknow what it's called in english... but I'm going to buy it when it comes to hawaii.

I absolutely loved Dynasty Warriors 3 and Xtreme Legends 3! Nothing is better than mowing down hoards of people with my spear or sword! BUT I can't believe that nobody notices the huge flaw in DW4!? Sure, there's better graphics and a few more people. I even like challenging officers to 1 on 1 duels without the rest of the army getting in the way. But in DW3 all the enemies run toward you in huge packs of like 30 or more as soon as you get near them. In 4 you have to get like, 5 feet away b4 enemies even notice you! So, where are those droves of enemies I love? You only get to fight like 10 people at a time. Yes, there are lots of other goodies, and a few more items, but that one flaw messes up the point of the game. More is better! DW3 was a 10, but DW4 is closer to a 6. I would probably give DW4 a 9 or 10 if I never played the third one, because that is my only complaint. And just for the record, Lu Bu is the easiest person to use and combo with, but Zhang Liao is my favorite and the best!!

This is got to be the best game ever.well.....i think DW3 is better in some way. this game is a blessing from god. the creater of this is brillient. if u watch the OC (a show on fox) u've seen the people playing DW4, as Xiahou Dun. it is the must addicting game i own and i own alot of good games, such as Vice City. if u haven't play Dynasty Warriors 3 and 4 yet u should deffinetly check it out. Deffinetly worth your money. its like a drug it makes u come back for more. to bad its not Playable online. i would rule. kill all challagers crush all competiters.
But i dont have DW4 extreme legends yet. DW4 has much more than DW3, theres more missions, and charrecters, 3 and the only good one is Zhou Tai. Theres more items and now theres more saddles and orbs. the 10th weapons look good too. the graphic is a wow, but the gameplay is so so, not as good as DW3. the songs r better in 3. ther's more things to do in challage mode like brilge melle. best score i got was 130 kills on the brilge.

i LOVE playing the two Qiao sisters! their the best two girls in the game! I agree with New Queen of Wu, the Qiaos r the bomb! i use to like DW3 but then i play the Qiao sisters and they where even better than number three! my fav charcters r ( Da Qiao, Xiao Qiao, Diao Chan, Sun Shaing Zaing, and finally Zhen Ji. this game is really addictive, once u start playing u can't stop. my friends and family tell me that it'll turn my brain to mush but i don't care. this game is drugs! Dynasty Warriors is the best game i ever played( the only game i ever played:) if u haven't ever play this game , U BEEN HOLDING OUT!!! Play this game!!!!!!! My favorite stigde is..... the one that has Da Qiao and Xiao qiao. i have Da Qiao's 10th wepon and all of her clothes but.... i have Xiao Qiao's 9th wepon but i have all of her clothes too. my fav clothes for Da Qiao is the one with the pink bows on her hair and she has a purple skirt. My fav clothes for Xiao Qiao is the one she has in number three but it was red.

Fu Xi, and Na Wa are lost. The weapon point thing sucks. The character have bad voice. The movies sucks. Opening sucks. 10th weapon sucks. 11th weapon is almost impossible to get. Its horrible!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The new character are horrible except Zhou Tai. The element orb $#< remove me > at ! is horrible. Why cant the element be on the 10th or 11th weapon. The music is much worst then DW3. I wouldnt buy this if i were you. Its just absolutely horrible. Sun Ce and his pop is just dumb. A grown man dont call his dad pop especially in battle. If i was fighting him in real life and he called his dad pop in battle i'll probably break down laughing at him. Lu Bu is a pussy in this one cuz he's so easy to beat. I play hard mode and beat him easily with just a 9th lvl weapon. Meng Huo is still as slow as ever and Zhu Rong got an outfit change. What happen to her sexy outfit before. Dong Zhuo got too much stuff from Dian Chan. Feel sorry for her. Guan Yu is alrite in this one same with Zhao Yun. The other character are bad. What happen to Xiahou Dun's eyepatch. That makes him look ghetto and instead he use a cloth.

I think it's a good game but it's a remake of 3 and 2. I thought it would be a different story. The graphics are good but they still have the same moves except for 2 new ones. Another good thing is there are more battle fields and new characters,and costumes. I think they should change the story. I mean they could made a new story and still have a few of the same genrals.I mean I'm glad they made a 4 but they still have the same weapons too! Another thing thats cool is when you jump and press triangle that move is good when you are surrounded. Also now you can play as different armies in musou mode. And the juggernauts they added were cool becuase they spit out flames, the arbalists they added were neat too because they shot out arrows! Another reason I like this game is I can kick some more butt with Guan Yu. This is my opinion, another thing I don't like is playing as Lu Bu because it's just to easy. I like it with a more challenging story line. But I do have to admit the action is still sweet.

I have looked everywere for a close fighting game that is from a timeline dated back in the past. This is not only a game it is a necesity. This game gives you tuns of characters and up to7 storylines and tuns of demoes. As a rock fan it is hard to find a good game with quality music. This game packs a punch. The backround music is awsome it is rock and not just cheesey rock this stuf is awsome. I sugest to all people with a PS2 or Xbox to buy this game.I would give it a 15 but i cant go that high. If you are locking for a game with almost everything in it this is it. I have waited a long time for a game like this and finnaly i got one. Now this game will take countliss hours to get everything maxed out. So dont get it if you fell like only playing it a few hours and dropping it. This is a very active rollplaying game. Also it is Cooprotive so you and a pal can face the other army together. It has vurses mode if you waunt to take out your friend and chaallenge modes if you are welll up to a challenge. It comes with a wepon upgrade mode so you can upgrade your wepons to get better as you go. and an orb system that alows you to use elements to hurt enemys(such as lightning, fire, ice, blast, poison, and vorpal) This game is a must have.

Man i been playing Dw since well dw3 came out when my bro rented it and the first 10 min i fell in love so when i heard dw4 was out i was OMG... so i bought it and man its ownz i mean i got my zhou tai maxed man he rocks and kicks ass also the game is rlly fun better graphics though the voices and lip movement eh... and story to short. what they shoulda done si make it so u can make your own dynasty and form your own kingdom in the 3 kingdoms. so i would recamend this game to anyone because its bomb and i love it..im playing it right now. and ive never seen a better dw in history. and if u like the topic alot go find the historical book Romance of the Three Kingdoms its a good book gives you more of the story. but ya koei did a great job and now i heard dw4 xtreme legends is out. and it looks real cool and i hope to get to try it out soon but i wonder if legend mode is like mousou mode hmm maybe be maybe not who cares i heard its gonna be ausome and so cool.

this game is the best: graphics stroy lines gameplay new wepons addons more extra stuff. the only thing i miss is the wepons....best game ever though but soul calibur 2 may be better. i give them boths 10s though. well all i can say is get it get sc2 (soul calibur 2) get dw4 anddw3 not 1 or 2 especialy Halo but this is rated M so dont KID around get it?

DW4 is good for having 42 general dat u can pick but wat the use of it most of the general is so crap no use picking them esp when they so weak too n wat the point of raising ur att n defence for the character it just a waste of time it not like u going to use da same character for every story.
The good things bout DW4 is dat the general dat u VS don't keep on charging they life point like DW2 i just love it make it more easy to kill.
No comment for da sound n graphics doesn't really matter to me. just the gameplay n fun factor dat count. It would be better if dat was more mode to it instead of just da musou mode i mean there should be more things dat u can do in da game play as for ex. rescue ally, making trap for da enemy blowin up the enemy into piece cuttin them in half how mad would dat be going from behide the enemy (a little of Tenchu stlye) easy kill wat happen to the blood, i sure in da chinese dynasty people get they head chop off n body part
Lu Bu if i was right he suppose to be da greatest no other general can beat him, just a story i heard from da adult dat he got gang up from all of the popular general just to be defeat Da great Lu Bu wat a history oh yeah when u see him just run like hell run for ur life of u get slice a couple of time n ur dead if from da back 2-3 hits n ur history is ova lolz. If u want to fight him well here wat i suggested block his attack until u see him shine like he was going to use his specail than u jump n hit the Triangle button dat should send him flying up in mid air, free shot for u i suggest only 2 free shot just repeat it so easy to kill him work for all general. if i mention any more stuff dan it will be too easy.
oh yeah people complain we want better gameplay n fun factor in DW5 a little more action n if possible a lilo of Tenchu Stlye how fun would it be killing with one hit cuttin soldier in half blood more blood more blood more blood more blood more blood
