You'll be glad giving approximately $50 to that store clerk. I have to say, THE best game Koei ever made dealing with the 3 kingdom era. Kick ass graphics, crunk music, hard codes, special abilities, and moves that'll be worth wetting your pants over! A solid game that's worth every penny. A guy can go on and on how they love it so!I sure hope they have a Dynasty Warriors 5 with Cheng Pu, Han Dang, Cao Hong, Cao Pi, Man Chong, Ma Su, Ma Dai, He Jin, King Mulu, Zhang Liang, Zhang Bao, and Gou Si in it. And you're a down right retard if you think otherwise!

Nothing to say! Your sword and lance can be play around blooding battle field in 3 Kingdom chinese battle field by using only 1 your joypad. Graphic is almost great but sometimes I seem to be disappoint about camera. Sound that was terrible in 3rd is now improve! More characters made you go on it around 1 months without boring. YEH!!!! CAO CAO LET"S MOVE ON!!

Yes, DW4 is the best of DW games, I think it's the best game there is. Officer edit is cool, and being able to destroy towers helps. One thing I don't like, is how the soldiers bunch up in big groups when not fighting, and it doesnt seem like there's very many soldiers on the battlefield. Still very cool, though, and SHU rules. i don't know if Jiang Wei is in this game since i just got it, but he's the coolest from all DW games.

The only promplem left to fix is the lag. It is so annoying to be fighting a whole group of people but only be going 2 m.p.h. Otherwise it is a great game. I love the different tales, and my favorite charter (Ma Chao) kicks ass. He really lives up to his name meaning (super horse) when he is on a horse. I can't stop playing it. Now we have to wait for 4 to be out.

This game is the best one of the series, and it has new features like the edit mode. The only thing that stinks on this game is that no matter what type of group of guys u are, you always start at the same Act. Another thing is that Lu Bu is VERY hard. Even if you have the game on easy, he'll beat you up like uh sack of krap. it is a very good game, and I hope they make more. If you don't think this is a good game, then you're missin' out on stuff.

To start, I acually loved the game, I first got addicted to the series with I first played DW2 on a demo then I bought the acual game, then I bought DW3 right when it came out, and of coarse I bought DW4 also when it first came out. Now why I put a 9 was because of the edit mode...if they make a DW5, they should make the edit mode more advanced, more weapons to choose from, more clothes and looks to choose from, and just plain ole more detailed, but otherwise it was a new feature in the series, it just needs alittle work on it. And what I hated the most was the continueous slow motions and the life, map, K.O.'s dissappearing in two player mode, and the levels were to easy to pass, what ive done before was just get on a horse and go right to the main boss in 1:00 flat and beat him, also there needs to be more extensive amounts of enemy soldiers for a more realistic aproach. Now to the best parts about the game, they added 3 new characters to the game, they could of added more, anyways out of the 3, I ecspecially liked Zhao Tai, with his eastern style weapon. I aslo really like the new weapon experience system. And I was thinkin if it would be cool in verses mode that they would make a feature where you are on a normal map with both your own armies and pick what generals you want, the "Influence" feature just doesnt cut it. So thats my reveiw and thats why I gave it a 9 and overall its one of the best games ever made and I hope Koei does these improvements if they make a DW5.

The game was great except for one thing. They need to allow you to play against a friend on different teams. We need an entire level with a war to fight against each other. They just need to change it so instead of fighting on the same team they fight on different teams. I also think that they should allow you to control your own armies and tell them what to do.

dw4 rocks on but one thing that sucks is creat-a-player mode the best i got was a Fu Xi look alike with his sword:) im a fan of the series and will always be but the character mode is just wrong, you have to be able to make a character look like a pimp or a warrior, NOW THATS DETAIL!! lubu rocks i have gotten him to be my best character other than zhao yun or my fu xi look alike:) the 10 weapons are sooo coool they look cool and for the most part are about +10 hit points better(power). im gonna show this game to my grandkids and they probably gonna say man those graphics suck, cuz we problabaly going to have holograms or something that day, heck we might have virtual reality dynasty warriors 9,:) thats something i would like to see from koei!!! i got this game the day after it came out and i havent put it down since, i love it so much i read the instruction manual before i go to bed at night!!:) i think this game is worth all 50 dollars i payed for it!! (i think?) when the game slows down and my health bar,k.o.s, and map dissappear i usually get frustrated and say "is my musou full yet"! cuz usually when that happens your surrounded by many enemies!!

All right DW4 kicks butt, but lets face it, there are very few improvements from DW3. I loved how you can ride on horses at the begging of the level along with elephants; damage from the horse seems to have increased(especially with Ma Chao), and the shadow steed is awesome. However, Koei robbed us of a few things. First of all there were barely any new characters, and not a single secret one. The create a character is a piece of $#< remove me > at ! because you dont really get to change the costume of the new character and you dont get to change his face at all so they all look alike. And the worst thing about it was the horrible AI. Some times I'll be fighting groups of five compts (the only type of formation featured in the game) and another group of fvie will be right there but wont come to aid them. There wasnt enough siege either and there were a few really stupid things like grenades which are innacurate according to history itself!

When i first played DW3 ,i was amazed, but when i saw DW4, i bought it immediatly.I love the Edit mode, MY charecter is invincible ,he has the level 10 great sword which has an even better name and has maxed stats, if you like sword games, this should be at the top of list, and your bodey gaurds can get as strong as enemy officers to, which is so cool to watch 8 guys beat up someone. But this is the best game ive ever played, i play all the time and rarely turn it off. So,if you get this youll more than likely be addicted.

I have both DW3 and DW4. Loved em both alot! I would say that this game could conquere all other ps2 games i have ever played. The duels the levels the characters. I really like how they made costumes that they have because they have the old DW3 clothing. I was happy about that because now the characters can look the same as i remembered them. I RATE THIS THE BEST GAME EVER! THANK YOU KOIE GAMES!

A good tip for those who are planning to rent this game: buy it. You will just rent it and rent it and rent it until you unlock EVERYTHING, and before you know it, you could have used the money you had RENTING it to buy the game for you, and a few of your close friends.
First of all, the costumes, believe it or not, are fun to unlock. While you're unlocking those, you can get your weapons and update your body guards. You can kill like, seven birds with one stone. There are also a lot of generals at hand. My current goal is getting all of their experience points.
Then there's the fourth weapon. I don't have any of them yet because I'm just working on getting their experience points up.
The maps are spectacular. I get all excited when the message board says, "A rare item has been discovered" but then I curse because I can't find the stupid thing!
Then there's Lu Bu. If you're character has not been racking up those experience points by The Battle of Hu Lao gate. . .RUN. I scream like there's no tomorrow running from that guy. He is so much stronger and so much cooler in this game.
The other characters are great too. My favorites are currently Zhang He and Sun Ce. Each character is different from the next, and the fact that there are so many to unlock is awesome.
It's all a matter of trial and error. If you screw up, oh well! You can always switch off the system, but I absolutely love having to go through all of the levels again.
This game will keep you busy for hours if you are a Dynasty Warriors loyalist. If you are new to the series, you'll probably like it more. This is my third Dynasty Warriors game, and I do not regret buying this one. Just get a lot of coffee, a lot of friends (if you have them hah hah just kidding!) and a comfy spot. You will probably be surprised at how much this game has to offer.

i think dynasty warriors 4 rocks i love the new dueling system its sweet i used to suck at duels but now im the king at them i also admire the graphics and the levels are amazing they really explain alot about the three kingdoms like the way jiang wei hung zhong and wei yan all used to belong to wei and the weapon experiance thing is classic it saves me from going around around every were searching for get weapons. i defanly suggjest this to anyone who likes sword games or anyone who follows the dw legacy.

This game is the best DW game iv ever played!!!! i luv Sun Shang Xiang, Sun Ce, Zhuge Liang, and Zhen Ji of Wei even though i absolutly hate wei especialy Cao Cao. But otherwise the game is awesome. without the wu kingdom and officers the game would suck... but i guess i would get used to other officers. anyway i luv leveling up weapons i think it is better than just finding them in boxes and generals/officers dropping them this game has come a long way from DW3!!! i would like to know how they come up with the names of people who werent in ROTK and werent from history???????????????the graphics are awesome and the plot is awesome and i luv the end movies that u unlock and i like making openning edits and making characters!!! that is the best part!!!:p

truly the best game i have ever played in my life! a cousin had the game and i had a go at the two player mode, it was so cool i had two buy it! the only thing sligtly letting the game down is the story mode - i think it's to short. over all a brillant game. whouldent it be cool if there was a tag game made 4+ players that would be so cool. Koei have done great lets hope we see a Dynasty Warriors 5!

The graphics in dynasty warriors are exellent and their the best graphics ive seen yet. The sound is also exellent becuase its very clear and easy to understand. Dynasty warriors is obviously a true story by the expressions on the characters. The price of the game is definately worth it as well. It is also different from any other game because its a true story which is set in the past tense.

this game rocks i just completed it on musou mode with the wei force heres a hint for you all when you complete it with wei u get special charachters lu bu,yaon shou then complete it with lubu and unlock dong zho,dion chin hope this helps u you can use press triangle with lu bu and u use his move that lifts you up and takes off alot hope this helps lubu out

first i would like 2 say a good game its worth buying. but theres not much difference beetween dw3 and dw4 yea u can make ur own guy which is good but not much choice ov cloths and i also think the game should bring in blood n guts 2 put u in the battle mood if u know wot i mean and also ive been playing this game 4 like a month and still i hav no harnesses wots that about? but overall a gr8 game and a good 2 player game like i said worth buying the moves r slick videos r worthy and gr8 characters (lubu.zhouTai and my fav gang ning) so enjoy the killer frenzy in dynasty warriors 4

Hi DW4 fans if your jewling someone and hes too hard get out the arrow and aim out of of the arena and he/she can't hit you pretty cool. P.S. how do u get harnesses and weapons? Or if you find a boss wich you can't kill, kill a few of his guys the press x then triangle it does that air smash then when they get up you will be in the air and they will die soon.

It is good i would appreciate a cape like some people but other than that createing people in a war type game like this is pretty awesome.I mean 2 and 3 was fun but 4 blew all games out of the water!War type games with guns stand no chance agaisnt this one in a lifetime game.You are a idiot not to play this.I read other peoples review and i think some where exactly right but others was so off they could throw a rock and end up hittin your head.My favorite people are FU Xi and SUN CE they rock.My favorite over all team is Wu the red team.lets talk more contact me sometime and well talk about this smashing game.
