ive played the game and at first its not a bad game but the same story gets a bit boring after a while.If the game had a different story line for a different characters then it would probably be a 10 but as it hasnt it has to settle for a 7 im afraid i hope most people agree with this.id like to know if there are any other good games out like this but a bit more sort of updated as i am quite intrested inbuying one of these type of games again.the length of the game isnt quite satisfiying and the sound could be better.Apart from the that i think that the graphics are amazing and that the fun is pretty top notch.

i love this game so much at first i hated it cause i was so use to playin def jam fight for ny but now i'm like all up in the game i pass through my homework just to get to my game. i even spend time with my friends plain it the game all that and a bag of chips man with a soda if your thisty. i hope you can enjoy the game as much as i have. the only part that i think you might hate cause i do is when your out numbered 3 on 1 and it's hard to beat all of them . but ow well

This game is one the worst games that I have ever played. The wrestling style is the same thing as in WWF: No Mercy.This game has only 35 wrestlers and no create a wrestler option.This game has only 4 match types and the story is one of, if not, the most repetitive story line in gaming history and you can't chose who to do the story with. After doing the story once, you would not feel like doing it again. This game is no competition to the WWE games.The only thing that is good about it is the graphics and the voiceovers. It really sucksssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss!

this game is a real good game the rating is good the story mode is good when i firt got the game i could not stop playing it my cousin wanted to go outside but i was playin def jam it was like was in another land i could not her him he cut off my gamecube just to get me to go outside with him and i still got the im playing it right now i cant wait til def jam fight for new york comes out im geting it soon as it gets in stores i played the demo of it its the bomb gamecube needs to cach up with ps2 they need to get a online play so peaple will buy more gamecubes than ps2 gamecube would be the best and game cube needs to mak lot of better games like shooting games withe blood in it and fighting games game cube just need get a online router and make more games nentindo been around longer than ps2 and xbox and nintendo is low behind man that sucks i love nentindo but they need to do better than they are right know but any way EA games are doing good EA do every body a faver pleases help gamecube im a nentindo fan and i love gamecube i her people every day saying gamecube suck and they say ps2 and xbox is better that makes me mad to her that cause im a crazy nintendo fan and ilove the games yall make for instins like def jam animal crossing james bond all the good games gamcube do better one last thing EA make more games and more def jams see ya

Def Jam. it all started wid da rappers,then da comedy jam, then dis game.lemme compare dis game wid a wwf game.when u play def jam, an ure beating da s#!t out of drake (a stupid wannabe cool guy)ur thinkin "dis could actually happen,not wid da pimpin moves but,somthin similar" while in a wwf game,u have 2 play with wrestlers dat only makes u think like if ure directing a stunt.cus put it dis way,when u see a wrestling match,all u can do is nuttin but wish 2 see someone gettn hurt, but dat only happins in an accident.also who da #< remove me > at *& wants 2 see and play as a sweaty man in speedos an just pin a wrestler wid a "stone cold kick".wow.a stone cold kick. dat describes it.in def jam,u do a bunch of literatly crazy special moves 2 ko ur opponent.(my all time favorite is spider's harlem whirlwind)u also see guys in nice clothing.no speedos,no tights ,no sweaty men, just some good ol' fashion butt kickin,with a story mode.dats rigth,wwf cant have a story mode where u help a friend get out of his debts 4 breakin his arm,where chiks fight 2 be wid u, an 2 beat d-mob so u can get ur ex back.wid a pimpin sound track ,over 1500 diff moves, a story line, an some brawlers that u wonder if dey can fight as tight as dey look, dis game 4 sure gave a nasty slap 2 da wwf games.(dont forget da rappers in dis game,that 4 sure hav da best moves.my favorite frm all rappers is redman wid his balls to the wall move)overall,this game has everything a fighting game should have dispite da fact dat there are no weapons, a create a wrestler mode,and da lack of variety in battlefields(by dat i mean der is nuttin but rings as a stage.dat means no bar fights,subway fights,etc.)but no worries,cause Def Jam:Fight For NY is gonna add 4 sure all these 3 elements, wit a little more realism since everyone is expecting dat this game is gonna be rated "M".so all above 17,if u playd DJV 4 sure u gonna buy this next one,an all undr 17,u better take out da trash,mown da lawn, and dont laugh when u see someone naked in tv,cause if ur parent see dat ure mature enugh,deyll buy it 4 u as soon as it comes out.

I think that they should keep this story-line going. I mean everyone has got to admit it is one sweet game. It has Luda, Red and Meth, Dmx a game like this is one in its own. I give it a 9 because mostly it is fun. It is a good stress reliever also. Plus Luda special cracks me up everytime I do it. Overall the game just beatz. Killer soundtrack, killer moves you know. I have to complain about some things. Like the controls they are a little tempermental sometimes. I hate how a soon as you get special the computer's char instantly sends you on a wild goose chase it pisses me off. Also non hip hop lovers wont like it but if you dont like rap/hip-hop then you need to start stiff! And there are a couple of char I absolutely hate like Ruffneck they might have well called him redneck he shouldnt be there you know. He is a disgrace "lets do this confederate style" yeah..... Anyway I get luda and bash the hell out of rubberneck or whatever.

I truly thought this was gonna be like Celebrity Deathmatch when I rented it but it is so god damn funny and actually fun to play. I only play as DMX IF I play as a Rap guy but mainly I play as the chicks or one of the four guys you select for story mode. The story is actually really cool and because I hate rap I have the music turned off and I just play my own music. but I still think this game is really cool. The games controls are pretty good but every once and I wish they were a little better but I can deal. I normally hate wrestling games but this one is actually fun.

DJV is pretty kool, except there's not enough girls on the game. I mean sure Angel looks hot and everything but what if you don't like her. Also for some reason your girlfriend at the end always dumps you, and goes with Carla to find some other guy. I really like the part about the picture gall., but you have to stay with the same girl the whole game to have all of her pictures. And also the messages you get are alright, but you can't respond back. I'd give this DJV a 9 mostly because of the picture gall., but also because it has a plot to the game, although the clothes your guy wears suck. But overall it's pretty hot:)

I loved this game from the moment I saw it.I don,t care if it did not have any weopons to me there weopons were there hands and feet.Infact after I get through this reveiw I am going to finish my match with POCKETS.I think this game is freakin a kick A#$% GAME.I think the most ripped people on that game is RAZOR and STEEL.I think this is the greatest game ever you know what I mean.whenever I get that urge to woop some boooooty I know where to go ya heard ha ha.Any body that has not played this game is really missing out on a lot of bone crushing fun. My favorite matches are three on one. I get a big thrill when ever I hear D/mobs voice say welcome to defjamv. I really enjoyed this game and for a good price too. I really like the hot honeys that you have to fight the biggest and baddest fools ever.It gets me going when ever I am fighting when somebody hits me back.I can relate to some of greatest rap artists in the business.

This is a never boring game. The graphics are life-like and don't make me dizzy.The mouths of the character's moves just right.Also, the skin to skin contact on grapples please me very much. The sound of the bones snapping are so real, they make me feel the pain and that just makes me want to do it again. Ialso thought the moans of pain wre probably what it would sound like if I broke my back. The gameplay in my opinion has little to improve on. I can't get enough of it and that has never happened to me before. The lifespan somehow touched me. In a good way, but there's always room for improvement. It never hurts. Def Jam V. is an always fun to play game. Thats because there are so many colorfull and interesting characters. I still haven't performed all the moves and I have owned this game since the first month it came out. This is so original. The idea of rappers fighting in a videogame is rarely accomplished and this game did it. I love this game so much, if it was stolen, I would replace it the next day. It is worth buying no doubt. Its a good game to get addicted to since there's no unecessary blood. Thats why I will always play this well, action packed wrestling game. In my opinion, a sequel Def Jam Vendetta would be awsome.

i like it so much ill buy it. i love the sweet K.O. moves, like briggs's moves those r killing moves not just knock out moves.
Thats y i like it because its like WWE but its like no rules sort of(i hate the rope breaks). But thats why i like to fight outside the ring and blaze them to death.(finishing moves)
so i would recomend this game to anyone, its an awsome game but, its not easy it can be hard like D-MOB.
and i talking just playing it on easy so i think hard would be f< remove me > at $%in hard.blah blah blah blah blah blah blahblah blah blah blah blah blah blah. just try it for yourself if u like WWE u will love def jam vendetta. even if u dont like WWE games u should try it its way diffenert. oh and also if u like rap music u will love the music in the game thats all it is.

I love the game EA sports they did good for there self I hope they come out with Def Jam Vendetta 2.I say the players are the bomb Method Man is the best one know put downs to the other rappers.EA sports makes the best games and to all the people that think EA sports needs rock n roll stars you must be out your mind. Keep doing what you do EA sports and keep the rappers on each Def Jam Vendetta game you come out with I hope you get new ones peace!

the story mode is one of the best ihave ever seen on any wrestling games I have played ity holds your interest much longer because it is a very differernt game from most other fighting or wrestlign games I like the variety of the characters eacch and every one of them has the own personalities and personas and I see many characters from professional wrestling reflectd in this game

E.A. most definitly wasted their time with this game because all rappers is just a bad idea. I could see like rap in it, but their should have been more rock like Korn, Metallica, and Slipknot. Or it could have been Rock VS. Rap. The graphics were pretty cool though, and the story line was great. I also liked the idea of having songs of the fighters as music for the game. I'd say from a scale to 1 to 10, id give this game a 4 for fun, because it is still a wrestling game. I really don't think this game will last long because it has like 3 modes and thats it. It is a very orginal game, but EA should make a game kinda like this but with pure rock. I would suggest for people to not buy this game first, but to rent it first (That's what I do with video games, because if the game is beatable in 1 or 2 days, you wasted a couple of bucks, not 50) The idea of this game was good, but it could have been better. This is a strange idea for a game but still is one of the best wrestling games around. the game was pretty much the same but you can get over that. If there is going to be a sequal, I will buy it the day it comes out, although i can't really see how much they could improve it because its great!

It is a good fighting game, but it is not much of a wrestling title. Also, in the story mode, everyone has the same story. it would have been better if each playable character had a intividual story to follow. Now let's look at it's few good points. The characters are pretty cool, I liked the different stages you could unlock, even the music is not bad. The challenge the game provides is pretty good, but once you beat it, it becomes kind of routine. I give this one six out of ten stars for the effort the programmers made. It had potential to be great, I hope for a sequel to be better.

I rented Vendetta last night, a Sunday, knowing I had to get up at 9 this morning. I stayed up untill 4am playing this game cause I couldnt put the controller down. There are few fighting games that can draw you in and keep you there. The Story can make even a fat white guy from urban america feel like a gangsta! Now that gets props from me! In the game you play as one of four charcters that are helping a friend out of a jam. As the story unfolds, the gamer finds out that the last boss, "D-Mob" beat the crap out of our hero and stole his girlfriend. She claims she doesn't want our charcter, but as you start kickin' ass she soon comes around. As you progress through the game, you unlock a total of five girlfriends and you can buy pics of them with money you earn while fighting. Over all this game has me hooked and a weekend rental may become a nice addiction that I own! Check this out! Where else can you beat the hell out of DMX, Methodman, Redman, Capone, and a whole bunch of other badasses?

This game has everything you angry Smackdown series fans have been wanting. Hott music and all the artist that put out that music. With a roster such as Ludacris DMX Capone Joe Budden this is a rap fans dream. With nice but not the best graphics and a stunning and stunningly short storyline is has some weaknesses. But the story line is the heart of this game. But the biggest flaw is that after you have beaten the game their is notheng left to do shure exibition matches are fun for a while but after that this game should be traded to gamestop for the next sucker to buy. Dont let that discourage you from buying this game it it still a great game just not for long. With a storyline that Smackdown only dreams it had this game is a must buy but also a must trade. But if you arent a rap or wrestling fan I cant whole haertledly reccomend this game. Hopefully the next one will have a bit more modes and the same stunning style storylines. The lack of those thigs make this game a 9 and not a ten when the flaws are sorted out this will be a dominating franchise and then and only then will it be a 10.
