Greatest game eva! | | Michael from new jersey,usa says (11/Nov/2003): | This is a cool game and orignal idea. I can't find a single flaw and is not hard but not too easy either. When you play its always unexpected gameplay. The fun factor is high since this is the first game of its kind to do something like this. It also has 7 diffrent endings and 2 paths for every ending. even in one part you build a raft to travel down a canal! I dont want to give too much away since this game is so fun! In fact i played this game today for 2 hours and i had already beaten it 4 TIMES! this is an addicting survival game that is realistic in two ways: 1 you have to constantly keep your water gauge full and 2 your always using teamwork to survive. This is such a good game i could play for HOYRS. it has a good graphics engine and story. You'll find out when you play this wonderful game. The sound is good and loud enough to hear it great. The value goes much further than the $20 price. The may be a few months old and originaly from japan, but is by far one of the best games you'll play. Pick it up and enjoy this great,original game TODAY!
| Very very decent game, not bad at all | | The Ronnerman from GA, USA says (24/Feb/2003): | I saw there were no other reviews for this game on this site and couldn't understand why. It's a good game, I guess it just isn't highly advertised and that really is a shame.
There are alot of things wrong with alot of games, and although this one isn't perfect, I cannot begin to point out a single specific flaw. It's all around evenly balanced between control, story, graphics, and, well...it's just a pretty good game.
It plays like a survival horror game but w/o guns and blowing heads off zombies or pyramid headed creatures (which is also good fun). Instead it has a real life feel to it, a building can fall on you at any point and you're dead. The purpose of the game is to simply survive an earthquake and make it to the big city and help ppl along the way and maintain your thirst meter by finding fresh water to drink.
Nothing in the game is spot-on, but nothings really bad either. The fear factor is high b/c you never know when the floor will fall out, or when you'll be crushed by a building. Very original idea.
I enjoy playing this game and I think any fan of survival games or reality games should give this a solid purchase, or at least a rental. I just read review after review and bought it out-right based on professional reviews and I'm very pleased with my purchase.
