This game may have made a great come back for all those other Jurassic park based games out there. The feel of the environment makes you feel as if you were really in on of Speilbergs films. From the way that the trees blow to the way the water ripples to the way blood spills from the raptors jaws. This game has an all new edge to it. Instead of trying to excape an island full of insane dinosaurs why dont we Construct an entirely new park. We did and know we have a hall of fame work of art in the gaming industry (Jurassic Park Operation Genesis). From the minute I started the game till right this minute my jaw dropped at the amazing power that was thrown at me through this game. Not only do you get to create your own theme park you also get to play in ten heart pounding missions that prepare you for your park building. For those who are familiar with the second movie you would know a little something about site B. Yes, if you want to get away from the complaining crowds and your hectict duties as park manager/designer/creator head on over to site B (After you have beaten all 10 missions of course) and watch your dinos run free on your very own island no visitors aloud. I can go on and on and obviously have alot to tell since i wrote all of this in three minutes but i want to leave room for somebody else. I really hope this review helped you enough to actually go out and by this game because is worth every last penny. And for all of you that have read reviews about this game being alot like the sims, its really nothing like the sims except for a few things mabey. Thanks for reading my review and God bless

I had been waiting for this game since last feburary when i saw in on the ps2 website. what a game. the missions are very cool and the park building itself is superb. Each part of the game is top notch, from the origional score (performed by the Sydney Orchestra) to the dinosaur roars - which are true to the film. the site B mode is also fun to use due to the fact that there are no rules and you can just sit back and watch your dinosaurs rome free. games with film licences usually tend to be crap, but they hit the nail this time. the only bad point about the game is that the player can only use three of the nine excavation sites. this tends to be irritating, because you cannot have a Tyrannosaurus Rex, a Brachiosaur, a Triceratops and a pack of Velociraptors. but hey one bad point in a game of this magnitude is not bad, in fact its very good.
Fans of the film will have their breath taken away by this game and will enjoy it until a sequal comes out (hopefully!!!).
So there you have it. a sound review for a sound game.
Oh, by the way, i have no cheats for it yet (ps2 version) so if anyone could e-mail the to me, i would be eternally grateful. Cheers!!

Operation genisis is by far the greatest sim game ever made. The number of dino species you can creat is outstanding. The side missions are a good change of pace. The fun factor is through the roof. This game is the closest you will probably ever get to a real jp. The only drew backs are the limits to the number of objects you can build like hatcheries dino feeders viewing platforms ect. limits to dig sites and most of all dino population limits. this game is the only sim game i have ever enjoyed. there is nothing like pitting two spinnosuars against each other or putting an alosuarus in the same pen as 7 raptors. The grafix are amaizing and the side missions are plesantly challanging.i hope they make a sequal and change some of the lim itations . but all in all this is my favorite game and i feel the best game ever maid

G'day all. Jurassic park is one of those games you want to play over and over again. it offers you an unbeleivable feeling that you really are making john hammonds dream come true. The best part is, is that it is so unpertictable. One day in your park you could have a great sunny day, with visitors exploring and having a great time. The next thing you know you've got people running around like kangaroos because a tornado has hit your park. this game is one you could never get tired of. I personally i'am a huge fan of Jurassic Park and i'am so glad they have finally made a jurassic park game worth buying. a feal good game with Action, drama, blood and a great soundtrack taken from the movie to the game. definetly go buy this and you will not regret it. 100/10

Here it is. By far, the best action simulater game that could reach the heights of the best simulaters of all time. Jurassic Park - Operation Genesis puts the player in a 3-D world filled with over 20 species of dinosaurs, featuring all of the dinosaurs from the Jurassic Park films, and also features some newcomers. Graphics for this game are as good as it gets, and even the sounds of the dinosaurs come from the movies. Features for the game include a dinosaur info section, where you can learn about the dinosaurs in your park, and includes a site B where you can let dinosaurs roam freely, without guests. I suggest that anyone who enjoys great, thrill seeking video games to buy Jurassic Park - Operation Genesis right away!!!

Everything in it is awesome. But....if a twister strikes and kills,it's your fault. You have to make shelters. But what is nonsense,you must reasearch binoculars and that stuff. I don't get why Jurrassic Park is cooperating with INGEN.I do like the ranger choppers,which you can either sedate dinos with tranquilizer darts,cure them from deseases,or fatally shoot them with a real bullet.If visitors complain that they don't see dinos, let them get a closer look.To do it,you delete fence segments that gaurd Carnivores. CHOMP! ARGHHH! BAM! And I do like the volociraptors. But truly my favorite,T-REX,is a trouble maker. JP: Operation Genisis is truly a 9 outta 10 game. It is -1 point because of Twisters and difficulty.

This is just the best dino game ever before i event played it i licked cause im a Raptor fan and the most fun part is letting the go wild and put a herbivore by a carnivore and the most of the safari missions.i reccomend this gme for all people really even teens and little children.for all the people said you can only have three dig sites are wrong Sorry!!!!.I saw a cheat that saiys you can have all digsites and it was only for th ps2 version and i saw it in a tips and tricks magazine ill to go ge me one issue REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY SOON!!!!!!! i gotta admit its the best dino game out there. The graphics are awsome. It may be a little tough but its worth it. I cant think of a better game. Its like the dinos are real and do real things like go in packs. The trees and grass are amazing to. My fave dino is the galamuis or watever its spelled. PLUS its pretty cheap. There are about 25 dinos that accually move around in packs and hunt with eachother. Its like they even talk to eachother. ITS awsome if you dont got this game ur missing out big time. GET THE GAME I WOULD GIVE IT AN 11 OUT OF TEN BUT I CANT.

This game is real good the only problem with the PS2 vers is that it slows down alot so iuf you got an X-Box buy it for that I got both since I wanted to see which the best just recently sold the X-Box version because as said the buildings looks ugly but the PS2 vers har damn nice graphics and it's real fun to take you car for a safari! BVut I hate it when tornados comes yesterday a tornado riper up my carnivore "cages" and my reputation and budget went caput good I'd saved before now that's a tip save alot because you never know when an inciddent may occur!!

Once you start you don't even know how to make dinosaurs when you learn you can find fossils of Spinosaurus and T rex if you put both them in cage that have a brillient fight best game iv ever owned and played i hate it when a twister comes to your iland it killed your building and walls and dinosaurs get out and got to mend all the buildings people die and you get a fine of $5000 i say if your a Jurassic Park fan this will be the game of your dreams never stop end of fun i played it till 5 at night to 5 in morning you should bye it best game in the world

This is a great game. Although it takes a long time to get your park up to 5 stars, it is extrordinary to see the magnificent animation of the dinosaurs. I think that everyone should get this game, because it truly brodens your imagination in a way that you feel like you are in the game. So if anyone is questioning getting this game...THEN GET IT!!!!! The best thing about this game is that you can make your own park ( it is sort of like Rollercoaster Tycoon, but even better)!!! So I give this game a 10 stars rating because this game is the bomb!!!!!!!!!!!!!

there is to much to say about this game.the graphics ame spectaculer! but why does a twister have to come and ruin your work.but i admit the game will be boring without one. you can create from the gentle quiet herbivore,stegosaurus,to the fierce blood drooling carnivore,the raptor!(don't forget the mighty tyrannousaurus!)
so if your a jurrasic park fan this game is a must buy for you!
i love this game because its not normally you get to build a islandfull of dinosaurs!
you must look after your vistors and protect them from twisters and mad dinos

there are so many thing that are good about jurassic park suchy as... the dinosaurs look remarkabley real and the sound goes with that to, there is sooo much to reaserch, you can take your own photos of your dinosaurs from a hot air ballloon or a safari car and you can fly a helicopter to shoot your dinosaurs with helpful drugs, make them sleep or retire them with a leathal injection. The only very small problem with this brilliant game is that the trees dont look that real but who cares !!! So my verdict is that this game is a must buy on PS2

A game that must be played and one i highly recomend for ps2 and xbox. Jurassic park-operation genesis is rubbish on the pc, so rubbish that people will not show screenshots of it. I liked the idea of the helicopters(very like the film there) and i recomend it only to people who are familiar with pcs, xboxs and ps2s controls. I think that the xbox holds the best done dinosaurs but not very well done buildings.And that ps2 holds the best buildings and dinosaurs.The sound is tremendous and aught to be in the most realistic sounds ever book.

The Graphics Are Great But Are Sometimes Fuzzy.Anyway It Is Still Great I Have Maneged To Builled Isla Nublar I Think This Game Is Great You Should Get It Its A Game You Wont Get Tired Of.And Hope You Can Get It Try Getting The Game Out Of WhSmith,Big W Or Online.Dont worry You Will Enjoy It There Is 12 Missions To Play And A few Excersises So Get The And Play It And Build The Best Theme Park Ever Even Better Than The Ones In The Movies.Or Try to Build A Safari In Your Park Try To Be Carefull When You Have a T-Rex It May Be On The Loose.

Jurassic Park : Operation genesis is challenging, exciting and packed with dino-mayhem. This game is a classic, the graphics on the dinosaurs is superb and really makes you think your incharge. Its a challenge to reach top star, please your customer, control and take care of your dino's and to work through the toughest of storms. The mini-games add to the hours of fun. From all 3 of the movies the game has captured the best characters and best Dinosaurs. Jurassic Park : Operation genesis is a whole new species.

Jurassic park:operation genesis is a supreme dino strategy game!There's plenty here to keep ypu busy for hours.If you ever wanted a park-creating-strategy-game then this is the game for you!The graphics are an easy masicre compared to pokemon stadium for n64 and weather is as deadly to your park as dicease or low money.Here,you can hatch dinos from the worthless dryosaurus to the five-star spinosaurus.All I can say about this game now is WWWWWWWWWWWWAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

i mainly love this game because i love games where you build things (that's why i love themepark world and sims and theme hospital etc.) It was the first game i got for ps2. I saw it in a second hand game shop and i though 'might as well.' When i played it i couldn't believe someone actually sold it to that shop for practically nothing! IT'S THE BEST GAME EVER EVER EVER! the only bad thing is you can only unlock 3 digsites, you should be able to unlock all of them =(

i bought this game about two weeks ago and have completed it about 5 times. site b is good (once you have completed all of the mission's) the graphic's are pretty good and as you progress your park you can research new vaccines and gain access to cool new dig sites were you can excavate dino bones (3 species per site)but there are only three sites per park that can be unlocked
as i said a must have for all ps2 owners its an amazing game well worth the money.

This is one one of the best games anyone could make. The only exception is the visitors on tthe PC are WAY TO PICKY. I bought it today and this is so fun. If you can mannage to make a lot of money save your file and wait for all visitors to get in and demolish the enter/exit center and let all the dinos out. >:)
The graphics on this game are like you were actually there, so if you see it on the shelf grab it and anyone tries to stop you.. SHOOT THEM!!!!
