Very Entertaining!38727

Heather from Panama City, Florida says (31/Jan/2004):
I love this game! The plot goes right along with the story. You start out with two characters to choose from: Inu Yasha and Kagome. With them you have to fight all the different aquaintances and friends from the game. The idea is to get as many shards of the sacred jewel as you can with your character. Once you get your specified amount, you will open up new characters from the anime. This game is repetitive: once you unlock new characters, they must go and battle for their specified amount of shards to unlock more characters. This all happens in the same fashion. In addition to this cycle though, there are mini games that you can play for extra shards, or to beat time limits of passed records in order to unlock a "suprise" Once you unlock all of the characters and get their required amount of shards then you have pretty much finished the game. Besides the mini games, you can listen to each of the characters background music, sound effects, and voices that you have unlocked. You can look at pictures of the characters, and you can listen to and change what they say durring different situations. My favorite part about the game is that they kept the Japanese voices and kanji. That adds to the coolness factor. You can play the game two player but it's limited. I only recommend this to Inu Yasha fans. You will probally be very confused with the interaction between the characters even with the heavy explainations they give. A big minus about the game is that it is very short. If you play it non stop it should not take you very long at all to beat. I'm sure Bandai could have done SOMETHING to make the game longer. I still love it though. 10 Stars :)

FORGET POKEMON,INUYASHA TAKES OVER MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!39586

Inuyasha KING from Feudal Japan says (9/Mar/2004):
Great game,If you don't like Inuyasha & Kagome you must be born Retarded,Inuyasha the king of Anime is on Playstation1,wow I cannot believe how great they made this game,I meen you just got to play it,forget all those other games like Pokemon,Dragonball Z and Others. Inuyasha:A Feudal Fairy Tale Is the best fighting game I've played I'm so very happy Ban Dai didn't waste there time with anything else,Pokemon has lost it's Fun,it's getting boring and just stupid and for kids,Dragonball Z,forget that stupid crap, that isn't even Action! If this game didn't come out then I would just die,Inuyasha rocks and the graphics may kinda suck, but the game still rules,Trust me you won't be mad that you bought this game:

Free Will:9,yes that's right you get to do fun stuff! :D

Graphics:7 Like I said above,it may kinda suck but It dosen't ruin the game at all!

Lifspan:5 Years,I am prolly crazy to say this, but I like the game so very much,it just seems that I'll like it this long! :D

Fun Factor:10 Only Inuyasha Bashers would hate this game, like Rurouni Kenshin fans, but there just dumb, and have no romance in it. I think the game would have been even better if it was on PS2,Maybe!

Overall:10 Stars,How can you not like this game? I meen you must be a retard to hate it,you get addicted on this game you want to play it on and on and on and on and on and on and on,you don't even want to go to sleep! When you start playing it you'll be stuck on it for hours,I know I did! Don't Rent,BUY!!!!!!!

rad from cali, usa says (19/Jun/2004):
This game is fun after awhile it does get boring but it's still fun. I think the best part is trying to get every single picture for each character in both their outfits. It gets annoying cuz sometimes u never get the pics u want but eventually after trying abuncha times u finally get it. The special attacks are alot easier on this game cuz all u have to do is two directional arrows(the same direction even) and the square button so u don't have to put like 50 different little buttons in precise order just to get a special attack and die before u get to even use it.
(lol =D {I know i'm exagerating})
The shard collecting isn't really that hard and like many have said it's a short game (unless ur like me have have such a difficult time with the stupid mini-games so u can't get the extra ppl) and it's preety cool after I re-read all the InuYasha I had this sudden urge to play again(odd huh?) it's may cost alot for a short game but it's fun and there other things to do plus a 2 vs 2 fight insteada just 1 vs 1 and sometimes during the game part u can play 2 vs 1 it's fun (I know I keep repeating it but it's true) and it's also cool when ur listing to the person that speaks durring the match and if u try and imitate it and learn some japanese. oki well That's all I can really tell u that will not be reapeating exctlly everything the last person had just said

Why are susch average games at $20.00, not $ 14.0038330

Blue eyes from Skokie, USA says (17/Jan/2004):
As you probaby know that anime games like Inuyasha and dragonball z are $20.00 and there not so great.Back to the review There is no story at all. All you do is fight with super Nintendo look a like charrecters. It dosn't have a lot of people. You be wasting time to get all the secerte charrecters. Only Koga and narrouka are wroth the effort. Also Demon Rage Inuyasha is not that great. You will need 43 jewl shards to get him. The only way to get the jewl shard is to hit people with a certian attack and if your lucky a jewl will fall out. But you can only do this wich people that has Jewl shards. Also you don't need shill to d o the mini games. I addimit the rock and the flames does take some skill. Just use Sango's bommarang on the insects, Koga on the rock and chioce of ether in the flames. Demon Rage Inuyasha has the WROST SPEACIAL IN THE GAME. He sourrunds himself with yellow engery and hits any neby oppenents. you can even cheat by diong Koga's Wolf Wind reapedity in every fight. ToTosai can just stand still using Momo drop. Narukou is easy for a boss. also some people fight for no reason or a dumb reason. Koga fights Mrayokou becase Mrayokou was a Jack#$%^^^& and wouldn't move!!!!! The only thing good about this game is you can collect pictures and CDS. They should've had the actually japenness Inuyasha songs on the game.

Sit, Boy!: Angela's InuYasha game review.22313

A gamer from New York state, U.S. says (26/Apr/2003):
This game is awesome. It seems to be really rare, since I've only seen it in one store, and of course bought it right away, being a fan of Inuyasha. The graphics are 2-D, but it's more like the show that way, so I like it. Also, the way the characters move is different, and more unique than that of alot of other fighting games. Every character has his or her own unique style of movement (minus Kagome and Kikyo). I also like the fact that it's not JUST a fighting game, but you can go on a quest, listen to music, view pictures, and play mini-games. I know some people dislike the fact that the game is subtitled, rather than dubbed, but I find it kind of enjoyable to hear the original voice actors, and hear them speak Japanese. One hilarious element to it, besides Inuyasha's voice, is that Miroku actually has a move where he grabs the female characters's ass.. Some technique, huh? (I have yet to figure out that move... I wonder if you can use it on male opponents?). You also can't say the game is too hard or too easy, because you can switch the difficutly levels. However, the game lacks a real story-line, and can get sort of repetitive, so it's not the best game I've ever played. Not to mention that people who haven't seen the show wouldnt really understand the point of the game. All-in-all, I'd give this game a score of 8.

AN Awsome Game with a few flaws30176

A gamer from Miami,USA says (15/Aug/2003):
Too bad They took Inuyasha of the air. Inyasha didn't even kill Narruku.
Pros:Almost all Chareters can be in Fairy talemode
NICE intro You can do attaks from the show like Iron reaver soul stealer
Some of the dailouge is funny like when Totosai got mad at Inuyasha for breaking his Tusaiga.
Cons: Jappanees vioces Not enough charreters you can fight whicth. They shuldve included the two Thunder brothers.,Thats how Shippo jioned Inuyasha, or how about Kohhaxy, the Half demon that was bieng misttreated by villagers that thought he was a bad guy. Or the brids of parridice or Myoga and that guy that hangs with Seeshomaru?

Some times the attacks are funny like when Totosai used Momo Drop He uses a three eyed cow to stomp on his enimes and how Shippo turns into a giant and smashes on the oppenent. U Shuld try it ourt. its great. I'm giog 2 tell u how 2 get some people.
Koga: Get all the Jewls with Inuyasha
Kagura:Get all the jewls with Koga
Sesshomaru: Get all Jewls with Kagura
Naraku: get all jewls with Sesshomaru

It's a great game27435

A gamer from USA says (8/Jul/2003):
This is really the game to buy(if you are a fan of InuYasha). I knew it was a fighting game, but when I bought it....it blew me away. My sister(who doesn't play many games at all) was having a blast as Miroku and Kagome. First Miroku couldn't keep his hands off Sango's butt, and Kagome just loved forcing Inuyasha's face to the ground(darn that "sit" command!). We loved the game and loved the Japanese. I hope they make an InuYasha game for PS2(or whatever). Maybe they could make it 2 player, and at times in the game you will have to play as Inuyasha, Kagome(and so on).
Fighting demons, making friends, finding new members in the group(Shippo, Miroku, Sango,Sesshomaru and Koga)(Sessmaru and Koga are only helping so they can fight Naraku or Kagura. And only so many people in your group). Like maybe Sesshomaru won't be the best person for Inuyasha to team with, but you need a strong member for a tough demon. Fight Naraku or his puppet, meet Kikyo, help group members and search for the jewel shards. (and don't forget to protect Kagome! )

Inuyasha,the best43815

Darian from bloomington,Illinois says (3/Jan/2005):
this game is so cool. u hav 2 get it.in order 2 get Miroku 2 rub the girls butts u push toward them and circle button.I did this on accedent once or twice. My best charecter is Kagome, she rocks.Somtimes i wont answer my friends unless they call me that.sorry but now i will ruin the game for u. 2 get Totosai u beat the mini-games timing. I recomend Koga or Kikyo for flame slashing,Koga for rock smashing, and Sango for poison insects.2 unlock Inuyasha's demon blood u collect alot of shards with Totosai. To change the color of there clothes u press the square button.Kagome-blue Inuyasha-blue Kikyo-blue Koga-grey Shippo-dark blue seshomaru-blue sango-green miroku-green Kagura-blue naraku-red totosai-brown demon blood-blue did i forget any if so email me.my friends think i am crazy but sometimes i wish i was kagome. If u have any info on how 2 get kagome shooting her bow backwards in green when u go 2 do sacred arrow pleeeeeaseee email me.It's hard to get.if u know japanese please tutor me by emailing me.love ya Kagome

Finally a Inu-Yasha Game ^_^.23158

Dee from North Bay, Canada says (10/May/2003):
I just bought the game the other day and even though it's 2D graphics wise, it's still an enjoyable fighting game. There could have maybe been some more playable characters but atleast the ones I like are there, and I love playing it even though I've beaten it a few times already. Some people suggested adding the Thunder Brothers which I don't think is a good idea since they aren't major characters in the show or manga. Also some people complained about the voices being Japanese and wished they had been the American voices. The voice acting was done in Vancouver, Canada and most of the voiceactors are actually Canadian, I just thought I'd point that out. I didn't really mind the japanese voices either, since some fighting game english voices can be somewhat scary. It's definately worth spending the money on to buy it if you're a fan of Inu-Yasha, and you like playing fighting games.

Inu Yasha ....Demon Dog25854

A gamer from U~S~A says (20/Jun/2003):
(Looking around gaming websites) Hmm they should really have an Inuyash...Hey they have an Inuyasha game coming out?! (Thank you God). What any Inu fan/gamer have always wanted. Inuyasha is a fun game..yeah, yeah, yeah like most reviewers already said, all characters, tag team, and humor. The only thing that sucks(Inu??NEVER!) is that its so short!Hopefully they'll have a game on the PS2 where they have a whole storyline RPG,with character voices in English (i do like the jap. ones)but im used to the eng. the voice matches the person( im weired like that, ever watch an anime saga and then watch a movie that comes out and the characters have all diff voices?! Its not the same...uhh away from the point of the message) Well anyway if you got a couple $$ and wanna play a fighting game solo or with your cuz buy this game, its cool...Plus being Kagome knocking out Inuyasha is fun..uh haha

Great Game Bad Graphics39088

Sesshoumaru the manslayer from Hiroshima,Japan says (15/Feb/2004):
ok i just got it not too long ago and this game rocks though the graphics totally suck and give me a headache its a really fun game and is definetly worth buying my favorite character is Koga he kicks ass because he is like really fast and he can use his pack of wolves to attack his challenger but yeah the graphics are bad but the battle moves are awesome but i hate fighting the same people over and over waht really stunned me about this game is the lack of characters and things to do at the beginning of the game i mean beating Naraku with Kagome was pretty much hopeless and even setting foot in thatplace with Sango is stupid but they could'ouve put more stronger boss characters to fight and they should'ouve put some of the real Japanese music on there well i gotta go for now and i dont care what you all think about InuYasha because no matter what ya'll say im the #1 FAN!!!

INU-YASHA!!!32110

Dragon Master from Alberta, Canada says (19/Sep/2003):
I couldn't belive it when it first came to Canada! I love the show Inu-Yasha but unfortunatly, I had to download the show off KaZaA. But now that it is on Ytv in Canada (11:00pm and 11:30pm) I am very happy now! From watching the show I have learned Japanese so when I bought and played the game, I didn't need the subtitles! Not only is Inu-Yasha my favorite show, it's my favprite game too! It makes a great Show and an even greater video game. The moves aren't hard to use, it's challenging, it has the origional voices (The Canadian show has English, I liked it better in Japanese... :'() , it's gameplay and graphics are great, and best of all, the music doesn't suck! Most Japanese games have bad audio and music, for instance Dragon Ball Z Ultimate 20. This game is by far the most interesting and BEST fighting game I have ever played in my life! ROCK ON INU-YASHA! ^_^

inuyasha...what more can I say27251

josh from mt joy pa usa says (6/Jul/2003):
the game is for the playstaion so your not going to get the bump mapping the next gen. con. have so whith that in mind it looks great and the backgrounds' are good. you get to fight with or against your favorite or unfavorite characters with moves corresponding to the shw and manga(miroku's but pat). i would have liked to create a demon or get more less but still important inuyasha characters.the story mode is kind of repetitive and could be done better. i watch inuyasha all the time and am waiting for the new episodes so the game will help ease the pain awail. i'm not a fan of cheats but the game needs them despritely since the ai is either too weak or too strong and the character unlok method is wierd but the game will please inuyasa and fighting game fans alike.(inuyasha's wind scar is not a super special attack and the voices are in japenese).

Inuyasha is a cool anime40863

Ethan from Nederland, Texas USa says (14/May/2004):
I loved the anime inuyasha but this game is kinda stupid. I only turned it on once since i got it. I would be awesome if it was good graphics and they didn't speak Japanese. I mean Inuyasha is the best anime of all time. but not this game. But i have good news. They are making an Inuyasha PS2 game. It's not going to be a fighting game, even better an RPG. Yes they are making an Inuyasha RPG, i can't wait till it comes out. There's going to be 20 minutes of extra footage exclusive to the game and characters that don't appear in the show. And if your an anime fan then there are lots of other anime games coming out. Like, Cowboy Bebop, Astro Boy, Gundam Seed, and lotts and lots more. If you don't believe me then check out the new issue of Animerica with Gundam Seed on the front. Inuyasha is the best.

This is the best36707

A gamer from Pikeville,Kentucky,USA says (7/Dec/2003):
This game is the best for inuyasha fans.I should know I'm the biggest inuyasha fan in the world. All I have left to say is if you want to learn about it get the game and man it is off the hook.It starts out as inuyash athe main character falls in love will a mortal kikyo and they planned to use the sikon jewel of four souls to turn him into a human. But as fate would have it another demon named narraku tricked inu and kikyo against each other. And inu then planned to steal the jewel to become full demon, kikyo pinned inu to a tree for 50 years with a sacred arrow.50 years later a girl named kagome kikyo's reincarnaion as they beleaved released inu to destroy a demon named misstress cintipeed. He killed her then he went for the jewel.if you want to know more then email me at the email below.

Too cool for words! It rules playstation!28157

Dog Demon from Elgin, Illinois, USA says (19/Jul/2003):
Inu yasha is an cool show but a game is even better! I think Inu Yasha with the purple clothes is the best of all! The game has almost everyone from the show, at least all the cool people anyways. And the graphics aren't half bad considering it's originaly for playstation one! Inu Yasha: A Feudal Fairy Tale has everything a good game needs; a variety of characters (this game even lets you be the bad guys!), a great adventure/quest, strong opponents, and cool attacks. Hmmmm... it seems Inu Yasha:FFT qualifies for all of those! The game even follows the story. From the begining with Kikiyo to the fight with Naraku. This game deseves a good ten stars! I can only hope they make more Inu Yasha games like this one, or even for other tv shows. Yu Yu Hakusho would, for example, be a good one.

Best Playstation Game Yet25421

Akashi from Wilmington, NC says (14/Jun/2003):
Inu Yasha has always been my favorite anime, and it's finally got it's own game! The Inu Yasha game is defently worth getting. It has excelent different music for each location/battle. The battles scenes are great. Some of the best fight actions i've seen on the regular playstation since Tekken 3. Each of the charaters have their own unique attacks and gameplay. The game never gets old, each time i play it, it gets better and better. It's highly original and there are tons of charaters to compleate the game as. Inu Yasha: a Feudal Fairy Tale, is easy to understand, but not so easy to beat. The only down side is that it's hard to remember all the different attacks, but that's also the best part. There are so many attacks, and combos that you can use to defeat your enemy.

The game, the fairy tale, the luv story....gotta luv it all...lol31320

SmileZ from Brooklyn, NY says (30/Aug/2003):
I think that making this game available was the best!!! I luv Inuyasha and all the characters. Naraku has really cool moves but, sesshomaru is the nicest when it comes to fighting. Just like the show ( that is back on t.v. people..a week already..get with the program)..anyway..=)~ the graphics are really great. I think that the game should be continued on PS2. I like the language in Japanese though...use to reading on the bottom of the screen. I have so much fun playing this game..even my nieces and nephew are now hooked. It was great that I found the game for $20 also. So, glad that a game this cool is also a cool price. It actually took me awhile to get through the game too. All fingers and toes up for INUYASHA!!!
