hi. im michael wood from essex. some of my mates told me about the game bfore crimbo, and they described it as an action packed thriller of a game. So... I asked my wonderful mumsie and daddykins to provide me with this hero of a shootemup. they did and F****n' Hell! its F****** good! better than vice city, james bond, and splinter cell. the best part is when youre in a car chasing some wanker in an ambulance called the $#< remove me > at !in vampire of hollywood or somfing and you pump a dozen shots of lead up his fuel tank and blow the mutha fukka into hell! neway hi 2 neone at deanes school, and specialy to ne one in year 10, and good luck in the language mock exams!

I would like to start of by saying that this is a wonderfully made game. It has great graphics and its just a fun game. It is a great cross between "The Getaway" and "GTA 3". The game has somewhat of a great storyline, which is very important in a game. The only thing that I didnt like about the game was that things seemed to slow down at times. It's like I was in the middle of a "Die Hard" movie and then I go straight into Father Goose. (Nevermind That. In the end, The game has a stable storyline with great graphics. But at times I was just too bored to wanna keep playing. I give this this geame 8 out of 10. Its a great game but it could be better.

"True Crime: Streets of LA" is basically nothing more than GTA done with poor controls and a cheesy story line. Graphics are totally weak. I mean the boards remind me of the THPS series. Don't get me wrong I love the Tony Hawk games but I don't think the graphics translate well to an "action" game such as this. The game does give you some freedom, but its restricted. For example, if you shoot somebody or accidentely run over a pedestrian you lose "karma points". I guess I just enjoy the freedom of GTA. Doing what I want when I want without fear of losing some stupid points. Trust me if you are thinking about buying this game, rent it first.

this game is exceptionally better than vice city and this is coming from someone who could play vice city all day long!!! this game has excellent graphics the sound is supurb ,
it is definately worth the money...as i said before "could it get any better"!! it's actually quite funny cos you can randomly stroll up to a pedestriann and check them for fire arm's or drugs.... i've had a few funny remarks from the pedestrians.. such as
" yo dude you planted that piece on me!"
" that's not my jacket i fount it!" there's loads more
any way i hope people enjoy it as much as i am right now

My gooodness.....you would think by the way it looks on TV that this game would actully be fun....heheh they sure did trick us! This was the lamest game i have EVER played, i am sad to say. True Crimes:Streets of LA has nothing on all the GTAs and Vice City. Honestly, did they think they could compete? Well i have to give SOME credit....the graphics were good and on a scale of 1-10 for fun, id give it a 3. I am a girl, and i beat this game in 2 days. The missions were way too easy and there was just not enough to do. Hopefully, there WONT be a sequel to this piece of crap. Because if there is, I wont be wasting my money on it.

This game is definitely the best game activision has made so far. However, I think GTA:Vice City is better because on GTA, you're a criminal, and you can do whatever you want without it affecting your progress in the game. But on True Crime, if you kill too many civilians, you will become a "Bad Cop" and it will affect your gameplay and possibly your ending.But when it comes to the action, True Crime is definitely better. Not only do you get to wield two guns at once, but you also get to shoot in a slow motion dive.THAT ROCKS!! However, because of this, I would say that True Crime is more related to Max Payne, more than GTA.

true crime is awsome, its a good game becuase its not like GTA vice city all games are like that so it cool to have something different.i defenetly think its worth buying. some peolpe dont like it cuz they think gta is the greatest, vice city is a good game but again its cool to have something diferent. the cars are better in true crime the graphecs are better then most games. who ever dont like it suck a huge hairy $#< remove me > at !!..its the coolest game ive played beside vice city. if you dont have it you defenetly should buy it. when i first bought it i didnt like it then i got used to it and now i think it is the coolest game.

I think TCSOLA is way better because it has a big map and it is easy to find the bones on the map for those who whant to get a prize better anyways it's beter because u can do missions better and quicker and there's way more vehicles and cool disinded vehicles like the street car i know that gta andTrue Crime: Streets of LA are simalar but who would u be bad or good and not getting chasted around hmmm!There both fun but i think it's better then gtavice city it's fun from a person who's beet it 3 times it's fonney because if you shoot em in the leg they die in streets of la you have to shoot them a cuppel times.

Out of 10 these are my thoughts on the games ratings and why.
GrAPHICS: 10/10 only because the graphics are more sureal ina way
MuSIC:1/10 Hnestly they need to find better music!
LaNGUAGE: 10/10 Gotta love the catchy cuss phrases lol that vice city lacks.
CrIMES:9/10 because chances there aint enough police cars fire trucks and ambulences to take!
VeHICLES: 9/10 There could be more world like vehicles meaning not a hummer every block or two and making some newer exotic cars in there!
OTHERS:10/10 because i don't know what others should be im tired and imn going top bed im 2/3rds asleep!

When I first saw True Crime: Streets of LA on TV, I was thinkin "Omg..that looks awesome!" Well, turns out it's not as good as they make it look. Streets of LA seems to be like Vice City or other games along those lines, but it's not at all. The game was way too short, I beat it in a day. (And if you're a 'good cop', it doesn't really matter...you only get like 3 missions added.) Playing it over and over gets old after a while, since you have the same few missions. Anyways, on a more positive note, the game is okay because of the good graphics, story-line...and honestly, I think Nick is pretty cool!

Dear gamers if you love GTA vice city you might like this game. from what i hear it's supposed to be even more Graphically realistic, then most GTA series. Some say that true crime:is action packed, very realistic, discriptive and informative. i rated this game a 10,because in felt like i was really in the streets of La shooting and arresting people. my personal opinion is if you like games where you can do whatever the fvck you want and not be limited to the scenario of the game then grab your badge, strap your vest on and get ready to do some goop anihalation to the dirty communist's.

this game is the greatest! i enjoy the cruisin the most, i spent the last 10 days just cruisin an havin fun!. it is a summary of:
getaway: the missions and area graphics.
grand theft auto: for the weapons.
matrix: for the fightin moves.
gran turismo: for the cars.
by far i agree with my good friend ziad alazhar and say this game is the greatest!
it is really the best! everyone who likes unprovoked violence then spend spend spend and buy buy buy! and dont forget 2 buy! and by the way, any one who doesnt like it can give the game to me and i will happily supply it to a loving game lover!

i think this game is really good in a lot of ways but i cant stand the driving!! its too loose so it takes a while to get used to.. but the gameplay the missions and the overall graphics are great.. one more bad thing i dont like is bein a damn cop! lol i was lookin forward to b shootin people and getting chased by the cops but o well... umm.. i dont exactly like the weapon choice either.. theres not enough weapons and you cant hold a lot like in grand theft auto so u just have to kill the people with what you have.. i would recommend this game to anyone who likes to kill!

you play as nick kang, a suspended police cop but then the L.A chief decides to bring you back as E.O.D agent.
the only way to realy get into the game is by buying it! so many of my mates have rented it and disliked it, but once i finnaly got them to buy it they LOVED IT!

I think it is a great game, these idiots on here who think otherwise probably are getting their ass kicked in the game, and have no sense of competition. GREAT GAME!! The fighting is cool, the gun selection is good and there is nothing wrong with the driving. The graphics are also better than I expected them to be, and the challenges are just that, a challenge, but not an unreasonable challenge....so far anyway. I really like the assault rifles and machine guns. The cheats help with some of the fighting techniques and guns available, but the rest is up to you.

This game was ok but it wasnts what i expected i thought you were a cop that is aactually a good guy.I mean he is freaken worse then the criminals he through a Freaken steak stick thing in a guys ear!Damn he can kill any one he wants and i beat the entire game in like 3 weeks it took me me about 4 months to beat that game.But i do like the graphics they were some of the best graphics ive seen in any game.And like like the part where you get to beat up The general the 2nd time but its hard to beat him.So the game was pretty good not what i thought it was

The game was all right I didnt mind beating it but it was way to short. It isnt that fun after beating it either because theres nothing much to do only cruising and doing the really easy missions. I like the slowmo its awsome and the weapons but there wasnt enough ammo when you pick one up and then you have your own little pistole that has infinite ammo but I prefer a AK or two MP3 or something. I also think that the LA is to big I like it small but not that small enough so I can memorize the place like I could with gta.

True Crime for me looked great. I thought maybe that this game could be like gta 3 yet the other way around. Instead of being a bad guy, you would get the chance to play a cop. Yet when i sat down and actually played it, it is no where near gta 3 one of my favourite games at the moment. It was fairly entertaining gameplay i suppose, yet i got bored quite quickly. In my oppinion they could of spent more time on missions, storline and advanced the gameplay a liitle more. Not a bad game in the end, but not a great one either!
