Way Better Then I Exspected, But I Still Like The First A Little Better |

When I first heard there was going to be a sequel to FFX I was a
little worried that Square-Enix would screw it up some how and we would be stuck with a very crappy game. I was so wrong! When I started to play it I was so impressed!! I loved the new battle
system. I liked most of the outfits even though some of them were a little skanky. I really liked the story, but I liked the story from the first one was better. The cast of character was wonderful. I have to say that voices were a improvement from the first one. But sadly there is some bad things. I was kinda disappionted when they change how you played blitzball. I thought it sucked how you couldn't control the players during game. You could only just watch which I thought was gay. But I did like the coin game even though bliztball was much better. It can give you a headache though exspecailly when they only give you 30 seconds to muliply numbers. And I thought the game was kinda short. To me, I thought that they should of had 7 chapters instead of 5. But besides that, I thought the game was amazing!
I hope that if Square-Enix makes any more sequels to any in the FF series, it will be as great as this one!! And I hope they'll be games and not movies, like FF7-2AC.:(

First off I am a really BIG final fantasy freak, and JUST about anything final fantasy is good to me. I ranked it at 7 because it really didn't make me want to play it for 5 hours straight like 7,8,9, or 10 did. In my opinion even final fantasy 9 was much better. Graphics are the same as 10, storyline is a bunch of $#< remove me > at ! that makes no sense, battle system sucks compared to all the others. A couple reasons I even ranked it as high as 7 points was because 1. like final fantasy 2.I liked how 10 was 3.The bevelle 100 levels dungeon was spectacular 4. All the other secret dungeons were a good challenge 5.first sequel ever they probably didn't have much to go by. I probably wouldn't even bother playing or owning this game once I have gotten mascot dresssphere and all 60 garment grids. Ranking: 1st:Final fantasy 7 2nd:ff10 3rd:ff9 4th:ff8 last:ff x-2
I hear that a final fantasy 9 sequel is being made, or even for some other final fantasy it better be better than x-2.
Only when you find out that ALL of the fun stuff like that is on all other ff's is it better , but all of the fun stuff is totally SECRET. I had to look up how to find everything because x-2 doesn't even give you aa clue how to get it.

I dont like it better than final fantasy 10 because u only get to play as 3 different people.And would someone please tell me why the hell would u look for someone that is dead.I liked it though but i quit on it before i got to the end i was at the final boss and it got boring.I love that u can change dresspheres my favoite r black knight and the sameri.I love the enemies and the moscot dresspheres rock 2. But in ff10 i loved the music when u had 2 fight tidus,s dad as an aon.Also i didnt like this cause there were no aons and i loved them they were the best my favorite is anima and the mangus sisters.I liked it tho because tidus isnt in it if u read my ff10 review u would know y.I hate that auron isnt in it he was my favorite i kicked ass with him!!I liked the trigger happy tho i had 100 percent with yunas guns rikkers thief and pains knight.i also had 100 percent wit everybodys b;ack knight since it was my favorite.Overall i liked this but not better than ff10 and besides kingdom hearts is still my favorite!

If you're a Final Fantasy fan, this is a game you need to buy! FFX-2 is the greatest game ever created. The graphics of this game are better than a lot of movies and the music is very enjoyable. The battles are the best part, because you get to use a "dressphere" to turn your girls into some of the strongest things you've ever seen! Another twist to this game is "garment grids". These allows you to hold your characters dresspheres and sometimes give them special abilities! With about 15 dresspheres to obtain, you've got a wide variety of abilities and looks for your three girls. In many other FF games it's seems to take forever to get to 7000hp. But thanks to this game, in chapter 5 you can easily (well... it's not the easiest thing) get between 8000hp-9000hp!! If you get this very special item, you can even get pretty close to 12000hp!! The only thing I miss is the ability to summon aeons, but the rest does more than makes up for it. This game is the ULTIMATE GAME EVER CREATED!!! Well... now that your in suspense, go and play the game for yourself!

FFx-2 has to be 3rd best of all FF's i havent cloked it yet,which is a shame cause i cant wait to see the perfect ending.I really enjoy this game its gota great story to it,i got up to chapter 4 then i started a new game and saved it over the file that i was upto chapter 4 on!well i'm on chapter 2 facing the aeons.I'm giving to much away,the missions are the best they are really fun such as infriltate bevelle and chase that chocobo!This is truly a great game!It really follows of from the game and u get to meet...some old gaurdians but i aint gonna say who!*evil grin*My friend dosent really like it she can stand the battle system which is quite confusing but it gets easier!I heard that u get to see a good old friend near the end!(he descended to the farplane before tidus)thats all i know!I loved this game its really intresting,it starts thousands of trails which all link up in the end!it makes it so u and Yuna have to work the mystery out to gether its a great experince!

I thouhgt this wouldnt be as good as the other game, but I think it was beter just by a bit. I think its a graet idea to put a new game plus additions and get all the idems and dress sphers you had you also get a few new suprises so check your bag.its a big advanteges that you can skip so of the seenes in the game. i love how you can right you ouwn story bored line i personly love yuna and rikku its amasing how the anamators can mack them look so amasing and cool but i donot now how the specil ending works . the carictor data and drawing was vary good exspesele on yuna and rikku pains wasent that good.the blitz ball tornament was awful insted of being a plalyer your a coach that was a awfal thing to do.i loved the songs like 1000 words that was .....i can relly explain how good it was . my friends think im the best ff plaer thar ever was but i tink i cuold be much better its probly becuse thay all suck so are o.k. but the bosses are to essy thay could be much harder in the end i thinck this is one of the best final fantasy yet but thats only my opinion of this game.

Alright Final Fantasy 10-2 is a great game. But trying to master it is a very long time!!! Some of the things you have to do you would not know you had to unless you had a stradagy guide or help from a friend. I like the battle system its kinda like Tactics but better. And also the fact that you can do so many side things its crazy. The few let downs are Blitz Ball has turned into you being the coach instead of a player. Also It seemed like Squareenix has rushed the game a little bit. You can only have three characters and one of them (Paine) came out of no where! ALso I hate the new sphere hunters they get really anoying, But I do like that you can see everyone from Final Fantasy 10. I like the fact that you can pretty much have an infinate amount of potions if you have the right dress sphere. I also like the fact that you can play the game again with all the items you had plus all the dress spheres and AP you had. That is what prolly makes the game all the better to buy. Besides all that FFX2 is a great game over all and for RPG players I recomend it for a buy.

okay, first of, i would like to say X is alot better. second, i would like to say that you don't need 100% to see tidus. at the farplane, when you get to walk around at the end after shuyin and lenne fade away, press the X or O button (i forget which) and you'll see a scene at the end after 1000 words plays. tidus does the swim to the surface thing from the end of X and yuna fly by with the celsius. i wont wreak anymore. also, 100% complete is easy, its only time consuming. bevelle and bikanel are the two that take longer than any thing else. so what if its a full female cast?!?!?! you can change into many different dress spheres and that more than makes up for the lack of people. the game is REALLY easy if you wanna go through from beginning to end; you don't really have to be at a high level. i went through the game once for maybe 10ish hours to see the system and graphics(which i loved) and beat shuyin at level 53 with maybe...6-8 dress spheres. one thing about this game that is not that easy is finding out all the places you have to be in at what point in the story. that's nearly impossible without the guide. who would have known that you had to sleep in the cabin ALL 5 chapters?!?!?!?! i dunno :S well, that's all i have to say about this game!!!! bye, byes!!!

This was a really good game.I just think that it could have been much much better. I gave X-2 8 stars but I most likely would have given X 10. Yes, this game can be beaten much faster but to get one hundred percent, most, but not all, people have to play three or four times. This one just didn't have the strange appeal that the first one did but in certain ways It was kind of better. I don't like the fact that it looks like, I'm not saying it was supposed to, but it looks like they tried to raise the sex appeal which isn't very traditional to other FF games as far as I know.
I thought the graphics were pretty good except Rikku's face looked kinda strange during a couple scenes, lol. There was alot less CG Animation than in FFX but I guess that isn't enirely a bad thing.
The music was also very nice, though some could seem sad, in a teary kind of way, if you were really really into FFX.
The battle system was also much faster than the first one but that can also make the battles somewhat harder. I was dissapointed with the difficulty of the final boss but some of the other bosses you must fight in order to get 100% completion entirley make up for it.
Overall it is my second favorite game, X is my first, Though some small things may dissapoint you compared to the first... It is an awesome game! :)

This game was really fun,not as fun as ff10..but still an all around good game.The thing I hade alot of fun with was the girls best dress spheres, you still get to use three characters,with pumped stats,and 3 times as much hp/mp,but also if they die you get to go back to your girls,that was really neat.Another big diffrence was the way that you could attack almost at the same time,which got throught the battles much quicker than on the other ff titles.I wish i could of got 100% complete..but i couldnt find all the damn crimson spheres...which sucked...In the guide,it says there is a monster with 999,999 hp...what the hell..you must have to train really hard to beat that thing..since i beat the game with my most powerfull attack doing about 2000..i think that it would be nearlly impossible..or maby i just suck at it..owell.My girlfriend beat the game doing less, so maby i wasnt doing so bad,but she sucks at games too!!Which i would expect that from a girl anyway.(no offense).Well, if anyone can tell me if the thing at the bottom of Bevelle has that much hp..please tell me for i can give it a another shot at trying to master another ff.PS.FINAL FANTASY 7 IS STILL THE BEST EVER!

I love Final Fantasy 10. I'm a guy and I almost cried at the ending of FF10. It was Tidus's story but he goes and enjoys it in the Farplanes. That was the only let down in FF10. Until after the credits were finished Tidus seemed to be resurrected by the fayth in the ocean or something. That made me more happy.
A couple months later Final Fantasy 10-2 comes out. Bought the game the first day. I was thinking about buying the official stategy guide but I didn't. I didn't like that there was only a party of three; they were all girls; and no aeons. But I loved the music and special effects (the best of all Final Fantasy series). There was something in my mind that Yuna will find Tidus in the end. So it took me 31 hours to be the game. At the end, I was really disappointed to find out that Yuna did not find Yuna. I was really mad. Until my cousin brought up that I did not get the perfect ending because I did not complete it 100%. So I went back to the store and bought the strategy guide for FFX-2 and beat the game in 25 hours 100%. I got the perfect ending and loved it. Now its back to Tidus' story. And most of you guys might think I'm gay. Guess what, I'm 14 years old and I'm BLACK, that's dedication to the game!

Okay,in my opinion I loved this game! (Even though I'm a girl) A lot of guys didn't like FFX-2 because they said it's a "Charlie's Angels rip-off."
I got my boyfriend into FFX and he really liked it! But then,he got FFX-2 and I rented it. He said that it was really gay and he wouldn't play it anymore because Yuna didn't find Tidus in the end. Well, if you played it right you would know that Yuna DOES find Tidus in the end. (You have to play it through a few times to get different endings)
I've only played it once and I already know that I'm going to buy it. I highly,highly,highly reccomend EVERYONE to play this game,it is awesome! The graphics are amazing, the battle style is challenging,I love the story. Finally, an FF game that doesn't just have tiny little tidbits of romance! This IS a romance game! I know,I know, romance doesn't really appeal to most guys. (I'm saying most NOT all. There are some guys out there who like romance and we girls love you for it!!!)
I love how Yuna does the concert,the graphics for that was just beautiful. The lyrics really were awesome!! I kept watching that movie sphere over and over and over I liked it so much! I admit that I cried at the end of FFX AND I cried at the end of FFX-2,because I really wanted Yuna to find Tidus so that they could be together. (I've heard about this "perfect ending" though,so I'm working towards that)
Well, that's about all I have to say about this game other than the fact that anyone who thinks this game is stupid or gay or anything like that needs a reality check! This is an AMAZING game!

When I first heard of this game, I was like, oh, this should be good! I mean, it the sequel to one of the greatest FF games ever! It HAS to be good. Heh, I in for a surprise.
FFX-2 is where you control Yuna (OMG! The first time that you get to control a female main character all the time!!! AWSOME!!!) and go around Spria acting like Charlies Angels and saving people from danger. Your also on a quest to find Tidus! ( I have no clue why they wont just say his name in the story)
Let me tell you now, FFX-2 is not like 7-10, where they just had little romance parts. FFX-2 IS a love story. Even with all the little sidequests and helping people.
But besides the fact that its a love story, its has awsome graphics that look very life like. And the music is awsome. Especially the two songs: real Emotion, and A Thousand Words. (but thats probably cuz they have lyrics)
And, as with every other FF game, you have fighting in it. This time you have things called Dresspheres that allow you to change into other different skimpy outfits with different abilities. Though I would say that the Mascot outfiit is just about the funniest one.
Anyway, I hope this has helped you. I would suggest renting the game more than buying it. But if you feel that you must have every FF game (like me) then buy it. I say rent because this is a big spin off from the other ones. Im certain most guy gamers wont like it. I know my brother didnt.

first, the game was like a musical. who would want to play a game like that? it did have good graphics and the fighting style wuz coolio, but why weren't there any summons? in ffx, i mostly relied on them. the characters were annnoying to listen to, and the dressphere idea sucked real bad. another good thing was that titus was gone, he wrecked ffx. the sound wasn't too good or too bad. it was basically a cheap rip off of ffx. i agree that almost everything turned into a tourist attraction. the game is pointless cuz it screwed up the entire no sequals that the other ff games had. there wasn't a strong story either, it was just about yuna looking for someone that looks like titus, and in the end it turned out to be a conflict between the titus lookalike and the yevonites over his dead girlfriend(who miraculously looked like Yuna). i also didn't like the piano controlled end boss. and the jump thing was completely stupid and useless. the game won't get any better by adding a couple of stupid and useless moves. i am glad that my brother bought the game because i would hate to waste $50 on a piece of s***. the game doesn't even pass as a frisbee, because you will break it out of rage before you think about throwing it.

OK I was playin' FFX not too long ago and I cried at the end! no seriously I did! (I'm a chick, not a guy!) So I Thought "Hey, FFX was Awsome so why not try FFX-2" I tried it and it was cool.
But at the end i didn't 100%, Which really sucks! So anyway, if your a fan for ff , you will just love this game! (between you and me I thought Tidus and Gippal were so cute!)some of the things I disliked 'bout this game were, 1.)The story thing was way too short (I'm mean I beat it 23 hours!) 2.)you don't drive any cars (in FF8 I would drive that weird car.) 3.)They should have made the ending better (DUH!) 4.)When I first started the game I didn't know what the heck i was doing. (I died when I fought the FIRST battle. U know with Yuna/Lublanc) 5.) what i realized is that paine is such a butt-hole! (she hardly ever talks.) But my fave pary of the game was when shuyan and Lenne got together. It was so coool. Anyway again if you like ff then you should get this Final Fantasy Game

this was an awesome sequence to ff10! Yuna and Rikku arent stuck up like they were in 10 (and are EXTREMELY HOT!!! fact not opinion.) it is guarunteed to give long hours of fun and excitement to anyone. i am really happy that they made a sequel to ff10 becuz this is a great game. i do think that you beat 10 first to better understand it though you dont need to but i highly recommend it. did i mention how hot rikku and yuna are becuz that is about my favorite part of this game. the graphics seem almost real in movie parts. it used to cost 50 dollars but now they are selling them for 20 or 30 so they are not too expensive. this game can take within 10 to 100 hours to beat (depending on if your trying to get 100% or not) if you get 100%, at the end press either O or X (varies from game to game) and there will be a better ending than the normal one. it would be really awesome if they made a final fantasy 10-3 but i dont think that they are going to :( id say that the only thing that i dont like is not summoning aeons (Yuna and Rikkus hotness make up for that and more though) anyone who likes final fantasy games should buy this.

I was sort of iffy about buying the game. Although I know most people out there liked ten, I found the voice overs to be sort of bleagh, and the two main characters a farce.
Ten two, at first, DOES look really girly (and this says a lot considering I AM a girl). But don't let that throw you. I'm tired of guys saying 'oh but it's only girls!' Go cry about it. Know how WE'VE all been waiting for a female lead character? That doesn't make it stupid. YES the translation (I.E. dressspehre) is not so great. Think of it as Class Sphere instead and out goes half of your complaints.
For those of you who say that FF is all about sphere grids and a waiting batlle system: 1. TEN had the spheregrid. No other 3d FF I've played ever had that. Think before you talk. 2. You CAN make X-2 wait if you want. Again, the atb was around well before ten 2.
The battle system is a mix of 9, 8, and in a way, seven. The ability up points from battle strongly remind me of the abilities you learned from weapons in nine. The gunner dresssphere is like the gunblade in ff 8. Seven is just a casual similarity.
The fact that there are only three characters at first bored me. 3? Pheh. But it turns out to be useful- no switching aroun and lazing off with two or three lowe level characters you find out are crucial later on. (In FF7 I had cloud aeris and red XIII leveled up. When they took out cloud and aeris in a short time, I was screwed.)
If it only takes you 15 hours to beat it, it's not because YOU are fast or the game is short, it's because you didn't do the highly important (not required) and engaging sidequests.
Overall- play this game through a few times. The guy who said 'you don't find tidus? What a rip!' didn't play it through right. There are THREE endings people, 3 which means that when you don't get Tidus, it's all your fault. (hehe I got him baaaack :-P)
Please note: When you first beat the game, wait until after all the credits to get the new game plus. You keep all your old money, abilities, spheres, AND percent. Cool eh? And oaka only asks for 1k instead of 100k the 2nd time through.

I'm tired of reading reviews from people who A: See it as a charlies angels rip off. Yeah it sort of looks like it, but hey three girls doesn't always equate to that. You don't say power puff girls or moreover, totally spies (not a fan of that one >.>) are cop-offs so why this? And those guys who say it's girly have NO IDEA what girly means. How many girls will go out and kill monsters left and right no problem? Pheh, rather not break a nail.
Admittedly the change in Yuna was a dissapointment, but for those of us who love challenge this game rocks. I've played it through three times. Whoever plays it through only once is of course going to hate it. A lot of things become clearer as you go along/through the second time.
The plot was weaker than I'd hoped but the side stories made it interesting enough to be okay. That level of outside interaction is not something I've seen before. I love the battle system, dresssphere or no. Man, don't let the name fool you. It's not just a clothes change (*what I thought at first*) but an abilities change. It'd be like changing a set of materia in seven. You wouldn't call THAT stupid would you? o.0
Endnote: If you're going to insult this game, at least use proper grammer and some smidgeon of intellect. It's cool if you don't like it, but 'cuz it wuzn't cul' won't get you anywhere. It just makes you look stupid AND (as a result) more likely to be wrong.

The simple answer to this is "NO".
I am a lover of everything Final Fantasy, playing up to twelve hours a day whenever I buy a new one.
Final Fantasy 8 was by far the best, followed by 7, then 10, then 9.
I so enjoyed FFX - the graphics and gameplay were amazing. Completely different to play than all the others, but thats what made it attractive. I spent a total of 120+ hours on FFX and did as many of the little side-quests as I could find without using a walkthru.
So... when FFX2 was released I could not wait!! I had my other half standing ina queue to buy it for me!
The idea of all girls was, at first, a novel idea and seemed good. The way you can choose what you want to be is great, the garment grids are easy to use and left me less confused than the other games.
I finished the game in less than 15 hours.
Obviously I did not do all the side quests(which I am doing now on game plus)but I expected it to be at least a little longer.
To be able to finish a FF game in that time is a real let down. I took a week off work (as I usually do when I get a FF game) and sat about all week with nothing to do.
I must admit that although i am a girl, the barbie style of Yuna, Paine and Rikku is not fun.
I like all the weapons and fights, not singing and dancing.
Overall the game was ok. I still enjoyed it but cant wait for FFXII.
I hope it is a bit better.
