I beat this game 5 times already. I beat Veagnugun when they were only on level 30. But it is really fun.The Monster in that cave was hard as hell tho.Sindy Mindy & that one other girl was hard as hell too but I could play that game for hours mabe even some days straight with out stopping. Final Fantasy 8&7 are still the best tho.I got to say I love the songs & music in FFX-2
and of course the graphics in the moves in stuff>_< This game kicks ass!! Now I ABSOLUTLY loved the 1000 words song i know all the words to that song and sing it all the time. It almost made me cry the first time I saw the video to it.The best thing about the game was that you can change jobs during the battle it defeats the pupose of you having to have alot of characters with you like in FF 8 thats the main thing I love about this game.The one thing that I hate is that its so hard to get the perfect ending and Yuna doesn't find who she is looking for.sry 4 skip'n around. But Girik wasn't all that hard to beat all you need is paine's special dress sphere which you can get at M.woods in chapter 1. Now I didn't think playing a game with three girls dressed up as whores could be so fun!!!!!!! YAay

Great Idea for Square Enix, but not the best FF |

Final Fantasy X-2 was a great idea for Square, as it was the first sequel to any of their games (which, let's face it...we all wanted to see more of), and I love the idea of the multiple endings and New Game Plus Data option. This seems to be one of the biggest factors in my high review of the game, since the playability factor goes way up. However, the story was a bit confusing unless you've played FFX, and at times it was a bit cheesey. The dialogue needed a bit more consideration, and the lack of CG scenes was disappointing after the multitude in FFX. And for some reason, I thought that Lenne's voice actor was a bit to robust for her personality.
But all in all, I think it was a great game...not aimed at a particular sex, as previously said (I mean, really....half naked girls?? The search for a long, lost love?? It's a toss up....they were aiming at everyone). It was a successful first attempt at a sequel. Congrats, Square.
FFVII is still my favorite storyline(looking forward to the CG DVD: Advent Children coming out soon), FFVIII had the best theme song, FFIX had the worst reputation, and FFX had Tidus...and I love him. :p

this is a very good game. i like how the battle system is completely active. i also like the chain atacks. the only prob is da way you can win almost any battle by jus pressin the X buton. i also love the new mini game "sphere break". it is awsome and im very addicted 2 it:) but im so p***ed how the screwed up blitz ball!!! in 10-2 i loved it but now it sucks. you cant control ur players and ull find ur shooter setting up a non-shooter for a shot they dont have the ability 2 perform! moving on... im glad they totaly removed the linear proggresssion of the game. if ur havin trouble getting 100% jus dont go on any hot spots untill uve gone 2 all the other places. as i was mentioning erlier you can win almost any battle by holdin the X button. to do this set the curser to memory. then set an alchemist 2 use "stash mega potion" and jus set the others to atack. also equip status resistant acceceries. this way not only is battling easier but ur party will fight much more efficiantly. one last peice of advice is 2 steal from all over soul monsters. its the best way 2 get good acceciries. i hope you enjoy the game and that this was helpfull.

This game is great, but without Tidus it wasn't really following on from Final Fantasy X. The plot is much more different then I expected, however the battle scenes were the best yet and the graphics are very realistic! Having a chose to go near enough where ever you wanted was also good. In Final Fantasy X, you were quite limited to where you went, this one has the freedom. The spheres quest was a complete suprise, I was actually expecting it to be like Final Fantasy X, plot wise, but I quite like it this way-it's different! Final Fantasy X-2 has the suprise of what each sphere will cotain, and it makes you wonder what the next one will have as a scene shot. The sphere of Tidus at the begining of the game was also very unexpected and it really does make you wonder what happened and how it happened. Most of the charaters are the same-but it shocked me about Lulu and Wakka!! All the new foes are good and the new battle ways are better. This game as more battle options, like inflicting damage with singing is a new one and quite rare for Final Fantasy!! But over all, this game is great!! And I am really looking forward for the next one !!

There's only one bad thing... I'd like to summon the aeons! Otherwise, there's a lot of fun in this game! The different dresspheres, the effects of the garment grids... it all adds to the fun!
The music is great, my favs are the first two sung songs... 1000 Words and Real Emotion. The movies that go with them are great, too.
I am also glad that there are cheats for this. If you just try to finish the game you miss a lot of items. This is good for the new game plus, which lets you play with what you had in your last game. New Game Plus is my most favorite thing about Final Fantasy X-2.
I am in Chapter 5 with 80%, so I am not sure if that is good or not. I think it is good since my friend finished the game with only 32%! I think it is very good that it shows you your percentage.
It could be cooler if Yuna, Rikku, and Paine changed their appearance with their dressphere.
Also, what really angers me, is while you're passing out balloons, they don't even subtract one balloon! What, are they too lazy to get in there and make it a tad more realistic by taking one balloon away?

this was an awesome sequence to ff10! Yuna and Rikku arent stuck up like they were in 10 (and are EXTREMELY HOT!!! fact not opinion.) it is guarunteed to give long hours of fun and excitement to anyone. i am really happy that they made a sequel to ff10 becuz this is a great game. i do think that you beat 10 first to better understand it though you dont need to but i highly recommend it. did i mention how hot rikku and yuna are becuz that is about my favorite part of this game. the graphics seem almost real in movie parts. it used to cost 50 dollars but now they are selling them for 20 or 30 so they are not too expensive. this game can take within 10 to 100 hours to beat (depending on if your trying to get 100% or not) if you get 100%, at the end press either O or X (varies from game to game) and there will be a better ending than the normal one. it would be really awesome if they made a final fantasy 10-3 but i dont think that they are going to :( id say that the only thing that i dont like is not summoning aeons (Yuna and Rikkus hotness make up for that and more though) anyone who likes final fantasy games should buy this.

I thought this game was acually very good. I do know guy gamers would like it because Yuna Rikku AND Paine are very pretty women.
There were a few things in the game however,that I didn't enjoy as much as FFX.Such as only having to fight with three people.The story line was good and I loved the idea of Yuna changing her look and trying to seek out her lost love.I thought it was cool that she tryed to be a bad girl but she's the sweet Yuna,to me.The opening cinematic as well as all the others were phenominal and looked slightly BETTER than in FFX.I thought the dress spheres were a cool idea although I would enjot having more people to fight with...I also thought the minigames were fun and amusing such as massaging Leblanc's back in Chapter 's mission that takes place in Guadosalam.I love all the endings I have beaten the game 100% and gotten the perfect ending in which (SPOILER)you see an extra scene after the good ending.
I thought it was interesting that you could make your own chioces and the game wasn't linear meaning it hasa high replay value considering the story takes a different path with every choice you make.

I absolutly loved this game.It was very romantic and thats one thing I look forward to in a game. i think the graphics are the best graphics that they have shown out of all the final fantasy games. Although the characters are all girls i dont mind ( i am a girl myslef)I mean you need a change in the game style every once in awhile.In every other final fantasy it was the guys who were the main characters so im happy that for once that it was the girls. The gameplay is extremely excellent if you play long and hard enough you can get probably 150 hours into it. It's very addicting, its so addicting that ill play for hours at a time. I like the fact that it kinda seemed like the charlies angels type of thing it just seemed like it would be more fun tryin to save everyone. Im on my second time through the game im still hoping to reach the 100% goal. Heres what i go by, if at first you dont succeed, try again. I think that the people who just judge the game without even playing it are missing out. I hope they make a FFX3 with tidus in the group that would be so totally awsome.

This game isn't supposed to be a clone of its predecessor. It's a stand alone game that continues the plot elements from FFX. If you want to hang out with Yuna and Rikku again and revisit old friends and places, you'll enjoy it simply for the nostalgia value. On its own merits, however, the game does feature a streamlined and improved battle system with more options for character customization, and a non-linear story line that allows you to play missions as you choose (theoretically). Realistically, however, if you want to get the 100% completion special ending (and who, putting the time into playing a game like this, wouldn't want the special ending) it requires an almost religious dedication to doing things in a precise order that allows little deviation. My first time through, I used a hint guide and still only managed 76% completion. Great game, improved graphics, but I knocked a star off for what I think is an unfair way of dictating the ending. You don't call it "free exploration" and "nonlinear gameplay" if you can't truly win without following a plotline with obsessive detail.

I'm a devoted ff fan but after playing this I was truly disappointed. I guess they have lowered the Rating b/c this definitely wasn't aiming at anyone above 18. Though the content of the game was certainly for teenager the character's weren't. By that I mean the girls now look sluttier than ever. Many will say that there's nothing wrong w/ that but those are the ppl who have no grasp on the story. The story seems to be very disconnected from ff10. I mean How could Yuna going from a quiet, shy, fully clothed girl - bust out into this skimpy clad girl w/i 2 years. I like the fact that Square is experimenting - the gameplay is certainly diff w/ mission based structure instead of linear. However, I'm a fan of the classic. I like my RPG to be linear b/c RPG wasn't meant to be replayed. Playing an RPG is like reading a book or watching a movie... u want a story that's consistent and linear. Making it into a mission-based game makes the story choppy and uninteresting. My suggestion - Wait for the 12th installment which is coming in late 2004.

The graphics are probably the best part of the game. On top rikku and yuna being mad hot, the graphics are actually better than ffx. But otherwise, this game cant beat ffx. period. The new game plus is kinda dumb, and it is too easy to beat the game the first time. I did it in 24 hrs. Getting 100% is too hard ive played 500 hrs and I am not even close. The story line was boring. In fact, I really cant call the junk that people call cutscenes a storyline. The dressphere system is a nightmare, confusing and boring. There were times I wanted go get my baseball batt and beat the s*** out of the game. Here are the reasons I managed to restrain myself. I liked that there were so many optional bosses and dungons. Also, the multiple endings were cool.The battle system was hard to master but i got the hang of it. It was cool because i could beat the snot out of fiend. The bosses were interesting and challenging. The music was pretty cool and awesome. Overall, a good game, but the makers of final fantasy could do better. (God help the morons who think that this game is the best game ever)

If you think about it. Final Fantays games are a bit repeatative. for instance they have the same costumes on (except FF4,5,10-2). though it would be anoying to come up with diffenrent outfits for them to have. also the "roam around" where you run around and suddenly you get in a fight, it gets boring after a while. but if you want to try out a new dress sphere it would be ok. but i mean the fight seqences get really boring if you wanted to level up or get AP. but Square Enix has made a brilliant FF. Number 11 which can only be played on the bloody net which is really messed up. because you need a cable and all that other stuff to play. it is a shame because it would have been the best one. because you could see the enemies before you beat them up. it also a great graphics and the characters that you roam around in don't look to bad either. but every one now is waiting for FF12. but USA and Japan will get them first before us Aussies.
if you have not played FF10-2 you should and if you have not ever played even an RPG your missing out on some good ation and great seqences.

The game FFX-2 was an alright game but overall Final Fantasies have been going down and hopefully it will come back up in number 11. The thing that im most pissed about is starting with 10 you couldnt keep upgrading your weapons, now in 10-2 there is no weapon upgrades at all the best thing about FF is to save up gil and get sweet ass weapons like awesome swords but now you cant do that. I am going be extremely pissed if you cant buy new weapons in number 11. any ways, the few movie scenes that there was were kick ass. The game needs to be way longer im used to taking like 6 months to beat a FF game but this one took me like 2 weeks. the ending was crap. the storyline was crap. the puzzles were hella easy. the music was crap (the music is what makes the game hella fun). the gameplay was stupid you cant take your time to think what you wanted to do. there were to many gay little childish puzzels that had nothing to do with the storyline. Overall the game was not a good one and I would not reccomend for anyone to buy it unless you get games for extremely cheap like I do.

This game is the ultimate best!!!!!!!!!if you love FF you will love this game!! Many boys think its really girly(even though im a girl)unless you like romance! The story is a little weird but its still awesome. if you want to play it to the very end of the game,once you get to the part were you have to give the sphere to either the youth league or new yevon give it to the youth league For the best ending (100% instead of 90%)If you are a boy my advice rent it first or if you have sis who loves girly games and FF buy it for her!!!The game might of been better if you went through a misson were Paine joined the team!A good way to get really far in the game is to Keep Paine as a warior and Yuna as a Gunner make sure you make yuna learn Trigger Happy level 2+3 And if you keep rikku a theif make her learn borrowed time,trust me it really helps!Get the guide!!!!!to this game it really helps and if you do read each thing for the dresssphers ok!! I thouhgt this wouldnt be as good as the other game, but I think it was beter just by a bit. I think its a graet idea to put a new game plus additions and get all the idems and dress sphers you had you also get a few new suprises so check your bag.its a big advanteges that you can skip so of the seenes in the game. i love how you can right you ouwn story bored line i personly love yuna and rikku its amasing how the anamators can mack them look so amasing and cool but i donot now how the specil ending works . the carictor data and drawing was vary good exspesele on yuna and rikku pains wasent that good.the blitz ball tornament was awful insted of being a plalyer your a coach that was a awfal thing to do.i loved the songs like 1000 words that was .....i can relly explain how good it was . my friends think im the best ff plaer thar ever was but i tink i cuold be much better its probly becuse thay all suck so are o.k. but the bosses are to essy thay could be much harder in the end i thinck this is one of the best final fantasy yet but thats only my opinion of this game.

Alright Final Fantasy 10-2 is a great game. But trying to master it is a very long time!!! Some of the things you have to do you would not know you had to unless you had a stradagy guide or help from a friend. I like the battle system its kinda like Tactics but better. And also the fact that you can do so many side things its crazy. The few let downs are Blitz Ball has turned into you being the coach instead of a player. Also It seemed like Squareenix has rushed the game a little bit. You can only have three characters and one of them (Paine) came out of no where! ALso I hate the new sphere hunters they get really anoying, But I do like that you can see everyone from Final Fantasy 10. I like the fact that you can pretty much have an infinate amount of potions if you have the right dress sphere. I also like the fact that you can play the game again with all the items you had plus all the dress spheres and AP you had. That is what prolly makes the game all the better to buy. Besides all that FFX2 is a great game over all and for RPG players I recomend it for a buy.

First off I have played the game to an extent to figure out what the hell happened to Tidus. The graphics were somewhat clean and smooth, but in a few parts of the game they get really sloppy and choppy (theres this one close-up of Yuna's hands.. and her fingers arent finger's, their blocks). The sound was pretty good for the most part, but in a few cut scenes the voices are really quiet and you can't hear whats being said. Gameplay was really short, I was disappointed in that and I think Square-enix can really improve on that. The game was pretty fun, but the guide is really helpful in order to succeed (I played without it and beat chapter 1,2 and 3 in an hour) Rikku gets annoying, and at first Yuna's running is annoying, but you learn to ignore it. Storyline is really well-put together, I thought the way everything linked together was neat. Ummm.. Some things in the game are really childish and bizarre, and I feel that the game was a little too easy. I suggest you don't buy the game unless you are a hardcore FFX fan, or if it's on sale for like.. $40.

If you're a Final Fantasy fan, this is a game you need to buy! FFX-2 is the greatest game ever created. The graphics of this game are better than a lot of movies and the music is very enjoyable. The battles are the best part, because you get to use a "dressphere" to turn your girls into some of the strongest things you've ever seen! Another twist to this game is "garment grids". These allows you to hold your characters dresspheres and sometimes give them special abilities! With about 15 dresspheres to obtain, you've got a wide variety of abilities and looks for your three girls. In many other FF games it's seems to take forever to get to 7000hp. But thanks to this game, in chapter 5 you can easily (well... it's not the easiest thing) get between 8000hp-9000hp!! If you get this very special item, you can even get pretty close to 12000hp!! The only thing I miss is the ability to summon aeons, but the rest does more than makes up for it. This game is the ULTIMATE GAME EVER CREATED!!! Well... now that your in suspense, go and play the game for yourself!

Holy crap! FFX-2 is the ONLY GOOD FF GAME THERE IS! Sure there was FFX, but if your looking for a fast paced storyline, and girls in wild, sexy clothes...then you've hit the jackpot! FFX-2 is little better then FFX, because...well, your hot girls, and can change costumes during battle, and I like the Time Battle Mode, because in FFX, I wanted to have short amount of time when battling. I even left to go to the bathroom while batting, and when I was done, nothing happened. YA TIME! I also like Yuna now, because in FFX, she was quiet, and didn't have that girl-next-door mood, but now, she's a shooting sexy lady! And so is Rikku. But it seems that she's wearing less and less clothes. But theres nothing wrong with that! And to bad you can't summon aeons again. Oh well, they always die so SAYOUNARA! Even though, I played a FFX-2 demo, this game is the best Final Fantasy game out there. So go and pre-order FFX-2 before its too late! I have, and I know that it will be sitting, waiting for me. And it will be waiting for you. Please! Pre-order NOW!
