After having played every Final Fantasy game ever produced, Final Fantasy X-2 is one of the best around. If you slow down and examine the game closely you should find that they incorporated every best aspect of the ten predecesors and the improved upon them. As to remarks about square-unix stealing the leveling up design from Kingdom Hearts, I would remind you that Leveling up has been around for years, and even Final Fantasy I had this ability. It has just returned to the game. A helpful hint for you guys trying to level up all your dress spheres is to use a white mage in lesser battles. Her abilities give ap points to the team and happen quickly. Your team should have at least 3 dress sheres a piece maxed out by the start of level two without any unnecessary walking around to level up. Also try to steal a Charm Bangle from Barali. This will allow you to explore without any random encounters.

My opinion is this is one of the best Final Fantasy games in the series yet! Anyone who has not played or beat Final Fantasy X yet should play Final Fantasy X first. If you don't you will not be familar with alot of the things in the game. The graphics are perfect, the music is great, & the plot is great. I have already beat the game, & it was great. I thoght the ending was great were you have to fight Vegnagun & Shuyin. One thing I thought was cool when I fought Shuyin was,he was using the same fighting style as Tidus from FFX. I also think the new games are neat as well such as the gunners guantlet. The only game I disliked was the sphere break. I also like how they still kept blitzball still in the game. Even though you can't use aeons in the game I still think it is a great game. My Opinion is the dressspheres made up for the aeons. I think anyone who is a Final Fantasy fan should get this game.

I'm a big fan of Final Fantacy games. I loved FF X, it was much better than this one. This game is what it is, and Paine says it all the time, it's hard to miss quote one quote "this is too easy". This was the worst 50bucks I ever spent, I should have bought charlie's angels DVD instead, would have been much cheaper. I'll give them the thumbs up for good graphics, thumbs down for weapons, length of game, too easy. I mean the whole game all I did was press "attack". I didnt even have to think to use magic or not because....it's like I could have won this with my eyes closed. They had all this time to make the sequel better...it's like watching T-3 or charlie's angels, it can't get any worse. This game should have been no more than $30. I hope the next one isnt as pathetic as FFX-2. I had no fun playing this, I just finished it for the sake of my 50 bucks, to find the ending was crap.

Decent but not even close FFX. The ladies (they are supposed to be in their twenties) act at times like middle schoolers. It is supposedly geared to females but everything in Spira seems male dominated to me. New Yevon, The Youth League, The Machine Faction, even the Celsius are run by men. The only thing operated by a female is the Leblanc Syndicate, and that is treated as a joke. The job system is laughable. Just because I change my suit when I get home, doesn't mean I suddenly forget how to close a deal and do a quote. Conversely, when I'm in a suit I don't forget how to play baseball or do an oil change.
Oh, and this battle system PUH--LEASE! This is supposed to be a fantasy game. If we wanted realism in the battles, then REALISTICALLY, when Angra Mainyu shows up, you RUN LIKE HELL, and call in some howitzers and an airstrike, you don't stand there and become roadkill. Just a thought.

Final Fantasy X-2 is one of my three favorite games, which are FFVII and FFX.It was beter than FFX to me but exactly equal to FFVII. Many people say that this game sucks but i havent seen a single bad thing in it. It has better graphics than than FFX, but you can bearly notice though, and the sound is more improved.The music doesnt sound sad like with other FF titles and thank god, like someone else said, they took the sphere grid off. I hated that thing. I didnt even get it so i didnt touch it at all. In my opinion, FFX-2 is harder than FFX because it is easier to get max hp and max damage in it. You are more limited in FFX-2 making it almost impossible to do get max stats and hp and all of that, heck, i used a gameshark. One of my favorite things of FFX-2 is the new game+. To make my review short, FFX-2 is the best RPG on PS2!!! I would give it a 10 out of 10 on everything!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is the peerfect game for anyone. So many side quests and the mission setup is splendid. Definatley the most challenging of the ff series. Trema (999999hp, 255str, def, mag def, etc...) proves to be the most challenging foe to graze the worlds of fantasy. For those of you who say its easy, I think you're denying the fact that it is extremely difficult. The garment grids rock, give you special bonuses, along with the accessories and friggin awesome dresspheres. The exp system is back, which is the greatest thing ever! Extremely humorous game with a lot of life from the characters. Yuna and Rikku have changed for the better, I might add. They aren't the boring crap faces from X but they are actually living beings now! Whoever plays tyhis game is in for a great surprise. worth the price and maybe even an extra $10! YOu'll love it if you're right in the head...

I played through it and really enjoyed the story, but the game lacks. It has nothing new location-wise, same places like Bevelle and Luca. I dislike the job changing thing, i prefer 6 to 8 characters with different abilities because it is less tedious to keep track of. And the music sounds like the latest Popstar's album. Yet, the battle system rocks and it follows up the great ff10, so ff fans should buy for storyline value. See, it begins with Yuna singing, which makes no sense, then Rikku and Paine start chasing her and attacking. Its not yuna. Quickly (this game is short), u find out about sphere hunting and the lives of old ff10 characters. Then the game gets darker. It becomes a quest to find "HIM", for he has no name, he is whatever you name him, and a quest to save the planet (again) but this time from Vegnagun. Final Fantasy 10-2 could have been so much better.

this is the most best game i have ever played and it beats any of the other games that you see the stores the people without this game trust me you have to get this game it is quite easy but then again all of the final fantasys are easy i have completed all of them except 11 and 12 my all time favorite is final fantasy10-2 if you are one of those people who love final fantasys then you have to get this it costs a lot ya (39.99)but trust me on this it is defantley worth the price and its good graphics and gamplay and sound please trust me on this and get this game you will sit in four hours playing this but dont stay in all day my advice is play it in the morning for about 2 hours and then in the afternoon play it for an hour then at night i play it until i get tired so if you want too have fun and be pleased then by this game final fantsy 10-2 price(39.99)

Whne i 1st bought ffx-2 i was soo confused because theres dressspheres and the bad thing is that you only get Yuna,Rikku, and Paine. Its not like other final fantasy games i played ffx
and u get lot of characters and is not that complicated. The good thing is that you could jump and climb. The graphic is better than ffx and the songs are okay. Im stuck at the plce when you have to fight all the aeons, all I killed was bahamut
and im stuck. The story is way different from ffx and Yuna i a spherehunter and i thought she would be still summoner. they search for spheres and fight rivals. It would be good if u get more characters like ffx. Its fun at the 1st chapter but it get kinda annoying to do all different things to complete the quest
It would be awesome if Yuna could summon but she use weapons so i was dissapointed

This game is alright but fightin the same feinds all the time it just feels like wastin your life away there is no blood guts just stupid puffs of light quite dissapointinn but iit is an improvement on finalfantasy 4 it dosent really have enough lift.Running about it so dull why not steal a shoopuf or push the lucans of the peir bring some excitment into it ha ha what a dull finale i have nothin more to saay about this but i have to meet the 150 words min what game i did like was frontmission3 for the ps1 that was good for its time i wish they could make it for the ps2 and also the leagacy of kain and soulreaver sagas were good but takin out the weapon option on the final game defiance totaly sucked they spoilt that by missing out one stupid detail the ability to throw spears and burn them with fire tourches whats with the companys

I gave FF10-2 a 2 for the fact that its totally way too girlie and reminds me of charlies angels, no offence to people who loved the game or charlies angels, my bad, but still, i believe besides the graphics and game play, it was way too easy and that it could work on the battles (besides the gun stuff) but i have no review, just wanted to share how i felt, so its more of an opinion, i seriously dislike the game..in fact, if i ever play the game, god help me. I mean, i have one 'friend' taht plays the game and loves it to death and its her favorite FF game, but i totally think she's insane because, me, i think the game sucks, i'll go buy a movie and watch bruce almighty instead of playing that game. besides tomb raider (its one of my least favorite games) i think its the awfullest games ever made by square. square, please do better.

the game itself was pretty easy and the blitzball sucked. the graphics were pretty good and the movies were great. the new character (Pain) is pretty cool to. she is like a mix of auron and lulu. but it is kind of a charlies angle game. ant the gulwings i mean c'mon! the the 100% movie is a must see so suck it up and go buy the stratagy guide. and make sure you get all of the jobs too like tamer is a must see. or atleast i think so. i like the fact that they brought the job system back but they should have kept the sphere grid and some of the other character should have been on the team i hate just using those three. well i guess at least they are girls so i didnt have to go threw the game lookin at guys the whole time. but ffX the original is the best game ever and if you like that game this game is a mst play! so have fun.

OMG i dont kno how they could ruin such a good game as ff 10 is i felt like crying yuna acts nothing the same and i loved her rikku shes ok they mad her cutter and she deserves it shes silly and now paine that butch lesbian i do like 1 thing about it it had one of the most beautiful songs i have ever heard of corse i am speaking of "1000 words" then they went and ruined it at the end of the game during the credits oh well nothin good last for long. oh the story sucks too this game just wrong all around play it if u must but dont exect to much all yhe commercials make it good but they r foolin u dont fall for it!!!! concider that fair warning.and i dont like the whole missino thing they send on things that r not ever important and have nothing to do wit ne thing soo it takes a while to get to a good part in this game

I realy like the game & how there are a bunch of mini games.I don't like how they changed Blitzball which i think is the best thing about Final Fantasy X.In ways its difficult because you have two get the story 100% complete for the good ending, ut the gameplay is pretty easy besides a few hard bosses.I like the New Game plus so you can replay with all your dresspheres & stuff.The Graphics are great & I like the fact that there are songs i think it is one of the best Final Fantay games.Its realy fun because of the mini games & because it is somewhat morefree lance.i also like how they continued the story instead of just ending it without telling the full story, but one thing I would have to to say is bad about the game is that it is shorter then the rest of the games in the Final Fantasy series which I don't like.

I just love everthing about it, okay I have to admit Paine was kindo've like an idiot but still she had some major power.I speacially enjoyed the mini-gun shoot-out game.One of my friends told me that the game was absouloute s**t.He said don't buy it!!!So I bought and eversingle thing was good.That shows that people have no respect or taste for brialliant game like FFX-2.Even if there was only 3 people in the entire game thats what made it hard, the people that don't like can shut their fat gobs and go to Hell because us FF fans are not gonna get dissapointed so easily.I'd personally give the game an A+.Eeythings a dazzler.Since the sphere grid has been replaced with ordinary AP and moving around there's no hassle thinking which way to go left or right it's just getting AP and leveling,it's as simple as that.

Ever since Final fantasy brought out FFV I thought "If someone can do this they can go really far in the RPG gaming world" So since the beginning i started liking the FF games and gradually making it through to the end of the games. So when FFX came out i thought they had made the ultimate FF game and i was shocked(in the good way) to find out that they were making a FFX-2. After completing FFX I thought about what FFX-2 would be like and even though it is completly different to the other FF games I liked it alot better then all of them and thats why i give it a 10* rating and as soon as it came out i went down to the shop a bought it straight away. I hope they will make another FF game Don't You? If you have anything to say about my review just send me an e-mail and it will be shown with this review. ok?

Well to the game... I love it, the battle system rocks, This is a real time battle baby! The story don't say me much but there's a reason FFX-2 International+last mission! The graphics are realy great, the motions of the facials are really improved from the previous ff games. The music are great, but sometimes I miss the classics. well to all of you that don't know if buy this game, I say don't miss it and don't forget to enjoy the show!!!

What can i say that hasn't already been said, they have destroyed the game entirly!!!!!!!! Fianl fantasy 10 is far superior to this disappointing game although the graphics are well good. They inserted missions,why is beyond me,they took blitzball out an added a stupid bloody crapy coin game and the fact that you can't change your charactors is well poo!! They have changed the battle system which i think is crap once again ff 10's system is much better. I got it the day it was released in England and the same day i was so dissapointed. The people at square seriously want there heads bashing together. Well we can only hope that the next installment of the final fantasy series which we hope is being made now, will be a whole lot better a real WHOLE lot. You can do it square makes us proud again.

Final Fantasy X-2 is a fine piece of squaresoft work and did not let down on the good Final fantasy name. Although the game is a lot more Charlies Angles than I would have liked, they brought back the old battle system incresing the rate of battle and the fun factor. Although you are only able to play as 3 characters, the ability to change jobs gives you the ability to access vast arrays of abilities and items. The only disapointment that I could see was the lower amounts of FM sequences than in the first game and the games such as blitzball which is back. Although blitzball was anoying, other mini-games were very fun and could be played for hours on end. In all, the game was very enjoyable and I would recommended it to all who are looking for a great gaming experience or just a good laugh.
