i have played both games, of course u you should play both games cause otherwise u might not get the whole searching for the guy thing. anyway i believe that the sequal is so much better then the second, because of the fact that i go to play as a girl instead of a guy, i have found that in most games the main character that u play is a guy so its good to have a change. another would have to be the fact that there is singing in the game which is beautiful, i even had a tear come to my eye when yuna was singing and they had the scene of lenne and that guy. but besides all of the story line is great, u only have 3 people to fight with and u dont have mess around with those annoying grids and just one more bonus is that fact with certain choices that is made in the game the ending could be changed. during the game it may be easy but i think the only thing that is easy is everything but then fighting which i found was really good because i could do a lot of sidequest gain more skills and i also had alot more fun the what i had in the first sequal, whereas in the first one it was hard almost throught whole game and if u wanna have some times easy is the best way to go about it. well thats all i gotta say bye bye final fantasy fans

this game is really good, expectally if you like seeing hot women fighting!!!! thats one of my favorite things about the game, but i also liked the whole dress sphere thing cause i like to have a challenge and this game gives you one, no matter how good you say you are. i also think the graphics were good, expectally the cut scenes cause my TV usually messes up the way it looks and i could still see the way it looked! i could do without some of the sounds cause it does get annoying to hear the same thing over, and over, and over, and over. the game its self was good because i dont have a guide so i have to keep looking for secrets. the other thing i dont like is that the dress spheres have different life points, but i also think of this as a advantage because of the glitch that if you change into a white mage, your life will be fully healed and then you just change back into the dress sphere that you were in before and you will be completely healed!!!!! i still dont know why that just didnt make this final fantasy 11 because it might have the same people that final fantasy 10 had, but its not the same. the last thing i like about this game is the new game+. the reason i like this is because i look every where on the final fantasy games and i dont like to try and find the same thing over when i know its almost impossible to find, like some glitchs or certain items that i dont fill like trying to find again, so if you dont like the new game+, then DONT USE IT, its as simple as that. you shouldnt say "i dont like the new game+ because of", if you dont like it, then dont use it!

This game was a total rip off. It plot was terrible. Unlike Final Fantasy 10 you can't customize your weapons. It ended way to soon and was not nearly as detailed as FF10. Yuna didn't even seem like Yuna. The only good thing about this was the replay but when you replayed it your levels were reset so it's almost like just playing it again for the first time. The dress spheres that you could get were not helful at all and the game just didn't have the feel that FF10 did. It's a waste of money and not worth buying. I would have rated it a 0 but that wasn't a choice so I gave it a one. I was surrprised how many people liked this game and gave it 10s. Sure it wasn't a complete wreck but it was like a step backwards after FF10. I would have to say the worst thing about the game is the storyline. I hate this game and I never played it again. If I could go back I would never buy this game. It wasn't even much of a sequal. (Sequal is propably spelled wrong) At the end there was a guy named Shuyin and you couldn't play as Tidus in the game. The characters didn't at all seem like they used to. Yuna didn't even get any respect in the story which she should after she defeted Sin. The people all just ignore her.

well...i posted a review about april of last year,but i would still like to stress everyone to go buy this game.it is so amazing.since last year i have put another 400 hours onto the game.i now have 650+ hours on Final Fantasy 10 and 475+ hours on final fantasy X-2.plus on top of that i have got 250+ hours on final fantasy 12.now to tell you why you should buy the game!!!even though the game may be around 5 years old,it is still a great game.it has some very awesome graphics...making it a great game for its price...which ranges around $20.the music is great in this game too.although the singing may sound kinda cheesy,it adds a new sense to the final fantasy series.although it may not have any cheats it does have many great tips on how to master the game.you can contact me for info about this if you like.the gameplay is great in ffx-2.i especially enjoyed it because it will keep you playing for hours withoput getting bored...(note my more then 1200 hours of gameplay).this game is also extremely fun...and like i said it is worth $20.this game is also the first sequel in the series,and the originality stays good in the game for the whole thing.all in all my rating on this game would surely be a 10 out of 10.if anyone needs info about this wonderful game,contact me...i dont mind.have fun Final Fantasy Fans!!!

I have played ffx2 for a long time and I don`t get more than 99% and I`m gonna flip out soon. I have played for 250 hours I think. And too all YOU who think ffx2 sucks, you`re wrong, and then I`m mean WRONG! I have played ff7, ff8, ff9, ffx and ffx2, ffx2 are the best game!!!!!! ofcourse you can say exactly what ya want, but it`s wrong. And everybody who have problems with beating the strongest bosses: get the cat nip accesory and use the gunner dressphere and trigger happy or lady luck and four dice. If you use new game plus and three catnips and trigger happy you can take around 300000 damage!!! But you must have low hp before it`s start too work, so it`s extremely dangerous. So it`s still hard too kill the strongest bosses as Trema and company at Via infito.

to tell u the truth, i was so excited when i found out that there would be a sequel to ffx. when i played ffx-2, my high expectations were not met. first, what happened to the tons of cg scenes that ff series is known for. ffx-2 didn't feel like ff to me because of this. second, why deprive the players of seeing the perfect ending when u first finish the game. players will play the game a second or a third time if the game is good and NOT just to complete the game 100% in order to see the perfect ending. players who don't have a lot of spare time will be compelled to use a walkthrough just to be sure to get 100% on the second try. Having female char. are fine with me as long as they wear sexy clothes. In the battle system, the only advantage of ffx-2 over ffx is that it's faster and there is a combo hit system that can deal greater damage when used properly. it is because if i want to use dispel or cure i will have 2 change dressphers or use items unlike in ffx wherein u just click a button and a new char. will appear with full HP. let me say "the more the merrier!" and 3 char. is just not cool enough even if there are diff. dress spheres avail. Another complaint is that there are some side quests that is like a chore. And u have 2 finish it or else u won't get the perfect ending. Well i think ffx-2 is an experimental rpg for square-enix that used the story of ffx!

So far the game is great, the battles are fast, but you can easily see what you are doing. The dress sphere things are cool, but when you are chooosing what one you want enimies can still attack. Also, this is the first ff game I have played where you start out choosing where YOU want to go, none of the linear stuff in ff x. The jumping and climbing work really smooth, except sometimes if you dont press the 'o' button at the right time, Yuna wont jump (she will look like she is going to fall), but its not that bad. I cant wait to play it more today...

I really thought this would be a good game, but it really is'nt. What was the point of making a sequel when the first game was so good? The battle system was better, the characters were more origional and Yuna was innocent. I do like the way that you can choose their jobs, though you feel like you are dressing a doll. There are more bad things than good things with this game.
Firstly, the battle system is really annoying because, unlike Final Fantasy 10, the battle system is touch-and-go. Then there are the three characters. Each act like little girls and say things like 'oh poopie!' or 'god darn it!' every few minutes. Square also removed the ability to summon aeons and go into override mode, which were the two flashiest bits of the game! Apart from those, the game is OK. The graphics are fantastic, especially CGI scenes that come up every now and again. There are also about 17 dress spheres to customise your characters with,so it would take ages to learn every ability. The sound and music are fine, not great, but not the worst either. It will last you about 65hrs if you take it seriously, but it is'nt very fun at all.
Right now, it should cost you about £30.00 if you are lucky, just don't think it's going to be better than it's prodocessor. As they say, the apple does'nt fall far from the tree, so it is'nt a lot more different to any of the other Final Fantasy titles.

Im in chapter 5 and so far the game is really easy. I miss the sphere grid from ff10 and i dont like how you can have different jobs it takes way too much time to master everything. The storyline is pretty good Yuna saving the world again even though it is pretty girly in the beginging but it gets better. I kinda wish they didn't copy Spira all over again its repetitive and kinda boring. and you have to get 100% just to see a good ending whats up with that? You have to buy the guide to get everything and if you mess up just once by talking to the wrong person the whole game is messed up. One of my favorite things from ff10 was blitzball but they completly changed that and its really corny and boring.

NOw i have never played this game but just hearing the reviews does not convince me to buy it. final fantasy XI should be way better it always gets better but apperantly this one isnt that good so i guess im just gonna take a break save my money and have my friend beat it and tell me how it is. i love the sphere grid i got so into that in ffX that i set all the spheres in color so i would have one complete sphere of armor and another couple spheres of magic. I collected all the mansters and beat them all in the zoo well i would have to say that ffX has been the best ever. im not gonna play X-2 because i dont wanna be disappointed.

I'm a devoted ff fan but after playing this I was truly disappointed. I guess they have lowered the Rating b/c this definitely wasn't aiming at anyone above 18. Though the content of the game was certainly for teenager the character's weren't. By that I mean the girls now look sluttier than ever. Many will say that there's nothing wrong w/ that but those are the ppl who have no grasp on the story. The story seems to be very disconnected from ff10. I mean How could Yuna going from a quiet, shy, fully clothed girl - bust out into this skimpy clad girl w/i 2 years. I like the fact that Square is experimenting - the gameplay is certainly diff w/ mission based structure instead of linear. However, I'm a fan of the classic. I like my RPG to be linear b/c RPG wasn't meant to be replayed. Playing an RPG is like reading a book or watching a movie... u want a story that's consistent and linear. Making it into a mission-based game makes the story choppy and uninteresting. My suggestion - Wait for the 12th installment which is coming in late 2004.

For those of you whove played any ff instalments, you will agree that it is pretty freakin awesome, but this one tops it off, althought the 11th instalment is out i prefer whoopin some major butt with three hot chicks. although i am not completely finished i think its the best, is it just me or does paine level up faster than the rest of em. i dont care, hey if you have any suggestions or cheats please email me soon.. or if you have any advice on which items and dresspheres work better. PEACE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! , I am only 63% complete so i have a while till i finish, so please give me some ifo soon .

I mean how any one can think any thing bad about this game i dont know.
I mean the great gameplay cg scenes pure brill.
After I played x i was completely awwed now that was a great game not many people like that or x-2 but i do and thumbs up to any one who thinks the same. now lets get down to the fine points. CG scenes defined to the very last pixel the start movie i heard it was a rock concert where-as it wasnt i mean fair enough it wasn't but still one of the greatest CG scince ff7. (which by the way is the best ff in time)
Music. yet again great im glad this has a less umm emotional side to it unlike 10 which was quite sad music but not in the bad way.its much more upbeat and more sort of Rikku like.
Now i think its kool how square have taken a new aproach to the atb and outlook of the game and compared to the other ff games three characters isnt alot but still good as it is not needed in this game to have 10 characters.three half naked women (well almost). it does suck the fact that there is no psychotic baddy like in most of the other ff games but if you do like the game dont use a walkthrough till you have complete it once please.
i liked the game as you can have alternate endings which is a great new feature to the ff series over all i give the game a wopping 10/10 thanks for taking the time to read this preciate it.

What can i say that hasn't already been said, they have destroyed the game entirly!!!!!!!! Fianl fantasy 10 is far superior to this disappointing game although the graphics are well good. They inserted missions,why is beyond me,they took blitzball out an added a stupid bloody crapy coin game and the fact that you can't change your charactors is well poo!! They have changed the battle system which i think is crap once again ff 10's system is much better. I got it the day it was released in England and the same day i was so dissapointed. The people at square seriously want there heads bashing together. Well we can only hope that the next installment of the final fantasy series which we hope is being made now, will be a whole lot better a real WHOLE lot. You can do it square makes us proud again.

Im Giving it 10 stars because Final Fantasy X was a kick ass game. SO after seeing the screen shots of FFX-2 Im NOT expecting anything less. And plus That new Broad Paine Is just kick ass She remind's me of my favorite Character From FFX Auron. So Im just Peeing my pants waiting for the first sequel ever in FF History and Boy It should be a good one. Plus Wakka really Banged Lulu and now have a kid WOW that just suck's.... (When your Wife Is a Dominatrix type of Broad but I'd Bang her too).

I realy like the game & how there are a bunch of mini games.I don't like how they changed Blitzball which i think is the best thing about Final Fantasy X.In ways its difficult because you have two get the story 100% complete for the good ending, ut the gameplay is pretty easy besides a few hard bosses.I like the New Game plus so you can replay with all your dresspheres & stuff.The Graphics are great & I like the fact that there are songs i think it is one of the best Final Fantay games.Its realy fun because of the mini games & because it is somewhat morefree lance.i also like how they continued the story instead of just ending it without telling the full story, but one thing I would have to to say is bad about the game is that it is shorter then the rest of the games in the Final Fantasy series which I don't like.

I beleive that this is better than Final Fantasy X, it has many of the same characters, but different plots and things. It is very exiting. It has three of the same characters: Yuna, Rikku, and Lulu. They all look different though. They stumble on to all of the same places, but some new places as well. I was really impressed with this game.

i do kind of like the game. in a way... se i got really disaponted when i found out u only #%$#ing watch the goddamn blitzball game instead of playing it. and the music in blitzball is so stupid. FFX was way better the sphere grid and also blitzball had that sick ass music in the background and u can play it. now....its so stupid. all u do is coach the team. it gets addicting after a while. also the 100% is like impossible. hmm...some imfo i can give is that the perfect ending is very diserving and the dresspheres are pretty cool. lvl aint too bad im used to it from the other FF's. but dont get ur hopes down when u play blitzball and ur acaully HOPING to play but then end up watching em play. uhh..there are many minigames and ooooo WHEN U PLAY THE GAME REST IN THE CABIN OF THE AIRSHIP IN EVERY CHAPTER!!! U NEED DO TO THAT IN ORDER TO GET THE PERFECT ENDING. in the beginning of chapter 5 reast in the cabin one more time to trigger a scene. also if anyone knows how...plz tell me how to get the special garment grid THE END. ive just spent like 2 hours looking online to see if anyone knew. just e-mail me for any questions but dont expect it to be there soon. also...in order to get the perfect ending...u must go to every place in spira in EVERY chapter. and also when u get that "special" sphere and u have to decide whether to give it to the youth leage or new yevon (youll kno wut i mean when u get there) u have to give it to the yuoth leage in order to get a 100% that also means u cant get the awesome dressphere THE MOSCOT. thats like the best one too. well goodluck when u get the game or good luck beating it and getting the perfect ending to the ones who already have it.
