New owner mode, better franchises, I CAN'T say enough about Madden NFL 2004. I once played Madden NFL 2002 for the Playstation, instead of hitting each other the players went THRU each other. However now in Madden NFL 2004 the graphics are much, much, much better. The new owner mode gives me a great felling as if I'm a Team president, the new team profile where you choose your favorite team. (However, I, as a St. Lousian, chose the St. Louis Rams.) To me it was awesome having Marshall Faulk as the coverboy of Madden NFL 2003. But, this game is so much better. It might cost $50, but it's worth it. I say BUY THIS GAME!

The best madden so far everything good, love owner mode and being able to sign former players as coaches. But cap penalties suck being charged 42 million just isnt good. Players wanting 10 million a year and they're not even starters isnt good either. But overall gameplay good stay in the pocket to avoid sacks pay attention to avoid interceptions and in my opinion when you can pass for 700 yards a game and score 80-100 points you don't need to run. One tip when its a new week turn up advertising play or simulate your game only turn it down and simulate the rest save over a million a week. Good Luck

this game all most perfect because of it gameplay but i hate the challages because its cheap the refs are blind.The worst thing is that Vicks too good same with Shockey he suxs.I think they should have CFL teams not Europe because i never watch Europe games but I love CFL.The playmaker is hard to do if your running the ball because its hard to juke and stuff while telling blockers to block some one.The 4th quarter comeback pisses me off you got the game won then you lose by a last second field goal which they rarly miss.BUT THIS GAME IS STILL THE BOMB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Except for the new owner mode, every part of the gameplay is better in last years madden. i was disappointed in how the gameplay is set up. you fumble too much, and you can sack and get sacked way too easy. the franchise is awesome, i just wish that the gameplay aws better. when you ry to drop back to pass, you will get sacked easily if there is a blitz called (unless you have some guy... i think his name is michael vick???) they make vick too unstoppable. he is the tightest player in the NFL, but in this game he is too good. there are a lot of flaws, but a lot of cool new additions.

Madden 2004 is the game of games. I love this game, it is more realistic with the awesome playmaker calling. The jump and catch is awesome. I play with the Washington Redskins and I belive they are the best team on the game. They have a great defense and they're offense is quick striking. Overall Madden is a better game. I am glued to the T.V. playing it. I m a college football player with a tremendous football mind. If you do not have a football background then don't even face me. The graphics and computer A.I. is off the hook, and I plan on winning this years madden tournament.

I Love the gameplay and the new animations,also the stadiums look great. But my biggest complaint by far is the fact that ea stated u could build your stadium millions of ways what lie i played the game for three nights just to be able to renovate the stadium and what happens u build it just the same as creat a team. Also the logos are $#< remove me > at ! and nfl and old nfl logos don't even show up on the helmets that was so gay i swear if goin to be able to build new stadiums and jerseys make it so can put stuff from other stadiums and jerseys on your team cause if u can't its a wasted option.

I enjoy watching the celebrations after first downs, a good run or catch. Also on defense the display of demonination. But what I would like to see is the receivers running up to the stands and jump into the crowd...now that would piss my opponents off.
Also the issue of the review, it still needs a little work. And why are there different numbers for the historic players. I mean everyone plays this and the peeps should be glad that there are still fans out there that remember those old players and there skills. Use the same numbers, come on oldies represent yourself.

this game is tight, franchise mode owns, execpt i hate that 4th quarter comeback chit. i remember i was the jaguars, vrs GALAXY!! i whoops a$$ until they made a oober comeback from 79-0, all the way to 79-69,i couldnt believe it, anyways MADDEN IS THE BEST FRANCHISE OUT THERE.

well to me madden 04 was a HUGE disappontment. granted the new playmaker control was good the game has some very very weak AI problems. first off if you are the eagles, or another good team and you play the lions or anybad team on pro you have NO pass protection you really need to adapt to having like 3 seconds to throw,90% of the time no one is open and you take the sack. one more thing come on in the pouring rain there is no evidence that the rain even came down like no puddles or anything on the field. COME ON MADDEN FOOTBALL YOUR BETTER THAN THAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

First of all it does tell you how many WR TE RB the offense is putting out there when you are on defense. Passing is easy you just throw to an open guy and you can get way more than 5 yards per pass throw a little play action at them and you can be wide open. Where is your hole? Get an offensive line and you can have one! Face it if your line sucks they arent gonna block as well as a good line. My only problems are its very hard to make money in owner mode and the whole super team every time in the 4th quarter. But still awesome add ons and I love this game!

Madden 2004 is the best football game I've played so far. The only thing I don't like is that when you play defense you can't see what formation the computer is going to pick. So if the cpu goes with 4 receivers and you go out with only 2 CB's then linebackers have to adjust, but that's no problem for me cause I am playing as MIAMI and Dolphin's defense kicks < remove me > at $$. which sucks cause there some lb's that can't keep up with receivers. Owner mode is really fun cause it let you move your team to a different city and build new stadiums. Overall I give it a 9.9

Madden 2004 is by far the best football game I have ever played. The whole owner mode is so awesome, the only thing I don't like about that is that it takes 180 blocks of memory, but oh well. It is so realistic too, for example- I was the Bengals (don't laugh, I like them) and Kitna threw 11 int's! And that is just like the real Jon Kitna! And for the first time, I got a call over turned with a challange! The crowd's are great, the graphics are amazing, and it's a game that I just can't seem to put down...Madden 2004 is the greatest game ever made!

Madden 2004 is good but can be better. I like the way you can price your own tickets and merchandise. It is reall realistic. But the only thing that got was phony tackles. Also when you play on all madden level they cheat like hell , I played with my favorite team the Redskins and the made Trung Canadate fumble 3 time in the 1st Quarter. And last but not least they should make the new different facemask that they added because on the game the make the O line have the halfe cage mask or the whole cage helment. So other than that the game kicks a**.

this is a great game but the computer can be very cheap. i created a HB with a 99 rating across the board, but he fumbled more times than anyone during the entire season. kind of irritating. i love the franchise mode though. i won the superbowl with the chargers then packed up the team and moved them to vegas. what a trip!! i also find the madden cards to be quite a relief from the cheapness of the computer. i saved them all up untill i got to the superbowl and got my revenge. i won 215 to 0 and set the record with a 93 yard field goal.

I can't believe the whinning about this fantastic game! Here's an idea, learn to be patient and not throw into double coverage or when the CB has the inside lane! Didn't any of you guys play football in school? Second, try using the "Stiff-arm" buttons to change the ball from hand to hand to avoid having the defenders strip you! Crap, this game is sweet! I have been using the lowly Browns and I have not fumbled with my HB Green all season (13 games) and have only thrown 8 picks! And I am not even that good! So shut up whinners!

madden 2004 is great but there is still some problems.I love the new owner mode and stuff but when u relocate to another city you have to create all new uniforms and you cant put the logo on the helmet.I love have realstic the game is and the online play.But it seems like john madden and al michaels have most of the same commentary as 2003.The last problem is about the online play,if ur kickin someones < remove me > at $$ the be a wussy and just quit and the game does not count.Whoever says madden is not the best football game is a coomplete luatic.

madden is so fake. all you need to win is a fast QB. call a pass and roll out. the D will run away and give you a 20 yard hole to run into. the D also will not dive when they are centimeters away. its so $#< remove me > at !in gay. also, a team like the chiefs should be madd good at running with priest, but they dont even run. and the bengals are just as hard to beat as the bucs. they need to make the teams play the way they do in real life. if you want a good football game, NCAA 2004 is the one to choose

madden 2004 is a great game. but for all you garbage players out there that just like to throw deep to a reciever well that dont work on the 2004 you gotta know ur s**t and u gotta run real plays.i was the champ in 2003 and still holding it down in 2004.madden 2004 has great animations great new features like owner's box.more throwback jerseys,great new plays. and this year the have everybodys speed like its supposed to be.this year you get to unlock secret games like the nba live 2004,ncaa 2004 and more.

Madden is a freaking beast ass game, what is it with licking Vick's balls, the man has a damn 94 speed in the game, and infinte stamina. Only way to counter the fakeness of Vick, is use Seneca Wallace on the Seahawks....a bit more realistic in speed ranked at 82. Is it just me or does Al Michaels talk too damn much in this game, Madden wont shutup, giving us 30 minute lectures on formations and completions. Good change in commentary, just that they need to shutup a little bit. Wheres Lisa Gurrero

I thought that the game was going to be better but, I like it alot more then 2003. I thought the ownwer mode was cool. This game was geared towards real life because of the training camps and other stuff in franchise. I am the Raiders right now and we are doing good and after my first few seasons i signed Jerry Rice as my head coach.Plus i signed Rich Gannon as my offensive coordinator. I would recomend this game to whoever likes realistic game play and is waiting for a good NFL game up to date.
