I have seen some 1 do this invisable glitch but i cant find out how to do it anywhere, i have looked in alot of places. and to who ever said this glitch lags u up i dont belive it becuse i saw some 1 do it and he was fine but see he wasnt compleatly invisable he was just transparent and hard to see so if any 1 can tell me how to do this i would greatly aprecat it (thank you)But yah i have to put more words on this sheet so it will be posted so yes i think socom 2 is 1 of the best games ever i have only had it for about 1 month but i really like it. well this is the real story i have had socom 2 and my network adapter for about a year now but i just got it all put together a month ago but yah it is a really cool game and it is worth your money.

ok, i know that there are alot of people that cheat and glitch. what can we do. the only people who can fix this is zipper inneractive inc. we can complain all we want but that is not going to stop them from cheating. i look on this site and i see people who call people pussies for for telling peoples what is going on. i think those are the cheaters. even though we can not stop this, we can let people awair of other people who are cheating. for example, people who read this this know what1 where the glitches are so that people can tell if they are glitching. if i could stop the glitches i would,but unfortionly i cant. and i am sure u have heard of glitch clans like denaus and infeareor. i am sorry for all of u who have been killed by cheaters and those who have been yelled at by cheaters. i hope there is going to be a socom 3, cause i just dont want them to keep adding stuff for the hard drive. every body knows that socom is not only addicting, it is also the best game in the world. i have seen the socom cheat sites and message boards and i see bad comments and stuff like that. u can say bad stuff about this, u do not have to find this helpful. i dont give a dam. i am only poasting this because i want to. my user name is EVIL NUTZ, it use to be EVIL NUTS. message me if this is useful to u

Socom2 is the best video game on the planet especially online with all the new guns and secret character like Sabre, Reaver and so much more. The thing I hate is some of the new guns but my favorite is the M87ELR sniper rifle. The new patch for socom is cool to because it stops the glitching and cheating. I play it every day online and im still trying to beat the 4th mission on Socom2. If any dosent have this game you should get it. Its an all time favorite. I give Socom2 a 10 out of ten 10 hope evryone likes it.

This game seemed pretty sweet at first, but as time passed there seemed to be flaws in the online game.First of all, there has been several glitches in the game.A few examples of such glitches are the box glitch in Chain Reaction & the ladder glitch in Sujo.And although there have been many complaints about the ranking system, I have discovered something more than a problem with how they determine rank.I have found a glitch in the ranking system.People have been using a glitch in the system to up their rank by thousands of points.How the glitch works is that they choose a map with a hill on it(the most popular one is Fish Hook)and they have multiple people on one side and one on the other.What they do is have all the people on the larger side stand close to the edge of a hill.Then the the single person from the other side kills them all.As they are falling to the ground, the dying player has to press the L3 and R3 buttons down repeatedly(they are the sticks located on the center of the controller).When done successfully, it makes it appear as though the player is still alive even though he is dead(it appears this way to other players,but you can't see your body).And somehow this raises your rank significantly.You probably have seen one of these rooms before.The name usually contains the phrase "Rank^" in it.And if anyone knows how I can contact the people at the company about this, please e-mail me with the information.

Everyone here makes some good points. Those that insist upon cheating can expect to be shot in the head by me or thier own team; So don't bother. I have been playing for some time and have not had ANY problems with lag. So stop being cheap and upgrade to DSL or Cable. It is apparent that some very long hours went into the making of Socom II and I applaud those involved. Definitely a game worth buying if you enjoy a realistic battle where you need to rely on each other for victory. Yes, the rank system leaves something to be desired, but what is rank really? I have seen Ensigns who shoot better than Captain, so who cares, just gloat about the kills. Maybe Socom III will have a different view on this but I do like the fact that it takes into account the skill and work of the entire team. This isn't a one man arny type of game. If you want that, stay off-line and play the single player version. That still kicks a$$ too.

This is one of the greatest games I've ever played. Single player is good, and you're teammates listen well and are very helpful in killing enemies. But the real sweetness in the game is online. If you have a broadband connection (DSL, cable, any high speed, NOT dial-up), then you HAVE TO play it online. Its the best online game i've ever played by far. Better than any Xbox Live game that i've tried. Graphics are great online and off, and cool weapons. Its great online b/c its basically impossible to cheat, and talking strategy with your teammates is fun. Don't hesitate to get it online, and no, it DOESN'T cost any monthly/yearly fee to play this game. If you have any questions feel free to email me, and get this game. game is great like i said and play socom 2 online, its fun meeting people and playing the game. Trying to get up in rank is fun too.

O.k. this game definetly improves on its early version. Why do I give it a 8 ?It simply is addictive online. Glitches there may be , but Free online game play vs. intense gunfights, coupled with smack talk make this more than a game, Its a social event.
Now there are some problems. Some wine about the glitching, I say, thats what the votes are for. No really though, and you players know what I'm talking about , the reload button on the right joystick has gotten me killed more than error combined. This really frustrates me and we must let the makers of socom know that this must be changed.
Also I have a strong feeling that the servers for socom 2 cannot handle the amount players that are playing online at any given time, but the fact that socom 2 does not charge for online play , patience is a virtue.

Wow, this is the best game i have played so far in my life! So many more weapons, all kinds of new stuff you can do! i like when you get the British SAS guys and the Russian Spetsnaz people. Online is great too! a lot of new levels, and they kept some of the old levels, but they fixed them up. You can walk upo to an enemy after you killed them and do a victory dance! very funny! But, if you are looking for an AWESOME game to buy, this is it! My name is Eskimo_Bob on SOCOM 2 and 1! LOOK FOR ME!

Socom 2 was a sick game,I think the makers did a killer job compared to socom1. the graphics looked upgraded and the sound quality was way better. Socom 2 seemed easier than socom1 that was cool because alot peeps can agree that it was impossible to beat socom1 past Lt. The Game is much cleaner and it runs much smoother while playing no more glitches Boys's i like the fact that i am spector and thank you lord that boomeris dead that stupid marine i can't recall the number of times that Kid messed my game up.. And all those punks complaning that the game sucks "Where"s the Health" you say! toughin up Ladies this Title is packed with explosive Game play Check it!!

Now I'm not one to judge a game based just on it's online play but I have to say that this is the game if you like good guy versus bad guy carnage. The actual game when not online flat out sucks. ehausting 2 say the least but the amount of fun and addicction u can get out of the online game is amazing. (it's even better with the headset.) I don't see how the makers of socom can top this one. Socom 3 has a lot to live up to. So let's just hope they don't regress with the next one cause this socom usually houses more than 20,000 people at a time daily and that's alot of starving killers urges to quench. I for one will never get tired of killing simulated terrorists and with the current conflict in the real news media I don't see this popularity going bye bye anytime soon.

Socom2 is a huge improvement over Socom1. Unlike most of the newbs who posted I know how to use my guns so I have no trouble getting kills. This game is more realistic in that guns have very different range, power, etc. People who loved running and gunning in Socom1 may be disapointed however because the days of strafing eachother while charging are dead. This is due to the fact that guns now have recoil, running makes you less accurate, and the new hit detection system which allows people to not take much damage from arm and leg shots. All in all, its a huge improvement and a must buy....

This is one of those games where even if theres some minor flaws (as in all games) people still love it. Sure theres some glitches here and there, *cough* crossroads *cough*, but its easy to overlook that. Although the single player gets insanely hard on the harder difficulties, its overall a solid single player experience. But the real draw is the online mode which, in my opinion, is the best online game that PS2 has. Theres friends lists to keep track of your friends, and you can see if anyone from your clan is on. Its just a great experience. There is some lag on the the servers but for free its not bad. Then there is the improved graphics. The graphics are good (not the best)except for the stupid fog which makes it so you can only see about 200 feet... Anyway the CG movies are great, and with a full orchestra used for the soundtrack, you know the music has to be good. Overall I would give this game a 9.

well, the reason i dont give it a 10 is cause there is no such thing as perfect, the reason i dont give it a 9 is cause the freakin glitchers and cheaters in the friggin game are just losers who gotta rely on cheating to win, my name is OGmikeman so just look me up, im on 24/7 practically, it is the best online game ever no matter what neone says. it is so realistic too, like the health bar is very reasonable, when u get hit by a bullet... it hurts, i mean hell, paintballs leave bruises, bullets are deadly. i also like that u can turn off ur teamate names which makes it much more realistic,(and gets u a couple of angry teammates)is u want the best out of ur game get a cable box a headset a cordless controller and u are set forever, o yah a bag of chips will help too. if u ever played syphon filter: the omega strain, bullcrap: it is nothing compared too socom II i mean the mgl has like 60 friggin grenades in that game.. what the hell? and it takes much more hits to die

I dont know. But i have never seen a game better than this one. Online!!! its crazy fun!! Except for the glitches and lagging games.My favorite gun is the m14.I am ranked 68000 . My name for Socom 2 is WILITO. ill be on everyday. On fridays and saturdays im on till like 5 'o clock in the morning. ill just sit there and play for hours. My favorite levels are Fish Hook, Crossroads,Frostfire,Vigilance and Sujo.The missions are ok but online gaming is awesome. I dont play the missions that much. Im only on level 4. Yesterday all i had to do was move to extraction and the killed me while i was going. i was so close to the extraction point X.I only had a little life left. I play on commander. i beat the game in ensign and liutenant. I unlocked the characters.

This game rocks, It was much improved from the first installment. The controls....while changed slightly, still remain very easy to use. The amount of weapons available is insane. I hear a lot of complaints about the recoil factor, well....sorry but deal with it you whimpering little biatch. Recoil is a part of firing a rifle. I also like the fact that the health bar is noticable and contains information on who has the satchel charges, it allows you to keep track of your men and thier capabilities. The bonus objectives are a nice touch because they allow you to test your ability to think on your feet, a requirement in combat situations. The ever changing circumstances in each mission also make for more interesting game play. The AI is much more advanced and team members are more reliable...and very accurate. I can't tell you how many times my teammates have saved my < remove me > at ss from getting shot. This game rocks...a must have

Socom II: US Navy Seals is a great game. Except the people that know all the glitching cheats make the game not as good. I know how to do the ninja jump but i don't think that really is a glitch because you don't disaperre or go under something. Also there are people that use rank up rooms. They really should be a cookie or lower but they cheat. Also i don't like the people who rank down or make a new name. For example some people are a captain on one name and a ensign on the other. I use to hate when people did that and kicked my butt. The last thing I dislike is the glitch clans. Other than the glitches, rank up rooms, and people who rank down, the game is really great. If you would like to help me get rid of the glitchers, rank up rooms, and people who rank down, add me to your friends list. My name is hockypmp89. I hope if you are a glitcher, rank up person, or a person who ranks down you will stop cheating so everyone can play fair and will be in the write ranking. I hope to see you online.

MM , I think that had to be the dumbest friggin review I've read yet . First of all you must really suck at socom if you can't seem to kill anyone with a shotgun . If you wanna talk about realism than try this . An M-4 srevice rifle fires 5.56mm high velocity perjectile witch wouldn't penetrate a kevlar flack jacket that can withstand up to a 7.62mm round . I know this because the Marine Corps. recently adopted this flack jacket along with its new molly system . If it's penetrability your looking for than try an AK , but its not as accurate as the M-4 . I know socom 1 was a good game , but the game is weak in comparrison to the new Socom 2 . You probably played the game at your little buddies house and because you couldn't handle the new level of skill it required to actually kill someone , you decided to bad mouth it in your simple minded review . If your ever online with socom 2 hit me up so I can slap you around like the Biatch you really are .
