I dont know. But i have never seen a game better than this one. Online!!! its crazy fun!! Except for the glitches and lagging games.My favorite gun is the m14.I am ranked 68000 . My name for Socom 2 is WILITO. ill be on everyday. On fridays and saturdays im on till like 5 'o clock in the morning. ill just sit there and play for hours. My favorite levels are Fish Hook, Crossroads,Frostfire,Vigilance and Sujo.The missions are ok but online gaming is awesome. I dont play the missions that much. Im only on level 4. Yesterday all i had to do was move to extraction and the killed me while i was going. i was so close to the extraction point X.I only had a little life left. I play on commander. i beat the game in ensign and liutenant. I unlocked the characters.

Now I'm not one to judge a game based just on it's online play but I have to say that this is the game if you like good guy versus bad guy carnage. The actual game when not online flat out sucks. ehausting 2 say the least but the amount of fun and addicction u can get out of the online game is amazing. (it's even better with the headset.) I don't see how the makers of socom can top this one. Socom 3 has a lot to live up to. So let's just hope they don't regress with the next one cause this socom usually houses more than 20,000 people at a time daily and that's alot of starving killers urges to quench. I for one will never get tired of killing simulated terrorists and with the current conflict in the real news media I don't see this popularity going bye bye anytime soon.

Socom is the best game ever sigle player or online this game is so good no it's not good it's perfect adn this game will keep you so occpied for hours and days and weeks and months and even YEARS.I work for gamepro and out of all the games SOCOM II Navy Seals is the best thanks and im on come see me on socom II my name is sk8erboi69.So get it or your a losser this is the best game of 2003 and 2004 and probly 2005 and if you hear rumors about Socom III Navy Seals it's true it comeing out in 2005 and that game will be better no glitches lag no nothing perfect shotting/action/online playing i give Socom II Navy Seals and 10 for awesome online play and awsome and graphic single player.So get stop reading this and go get the game it's 50.00$ usally for ps2 and the only why you can play online is getting online apter and get a headset why you are at it.

well, the reason i dont give it a 10 is cause there is no such thing as perfect, the reason i dont give it a 9 is cause the freakin glitchers and cheaters in the friggin game are just losers who gotta rely on cheating to win, my name is OGmikeman so just look me up, im on 24/7 practically, it is the best online game ever no matter what neone says. it is so realistic too, like the health bar is very reasonable, when u get hit by a bullet... it hurts, i mean hell, paintballs leave bruises, bullets are deadly. i also like that u can turn off ur teamate names which makes it much more realistic,(and gets u a couple of angry teammates)is u want the best out of ur game get a cable box a headset a cordless controller and u are set forever, o yah a bag of chips will help too. if u ever played syphon filter: the omega strain, bullcrap: it is nothing compared too socom II i mean the mgl has like 60 friggin grenades in that game.. what the hell? and it takes much more hits to die

Socom II: US Navy Seals is a great game. Except the people that know all the glitching cheats make the game not as good. I know how to do the ninja jump but i don't think that really is a glitch because you don't disaperre or go under something. Also there are people that use rank up rooms. They really should be a cookie or lower but they cheat. Also i don't like the people who rank down or make a new name. For example some people are a captain on one name and a ensign on the other. I use to hate when people did that and kicked my butt. The last thing I dislike is the glitch clans. Other than the glitches, rank up rooms, and people who rank down, the game is really great. If you would like to help me get rid of the glitchers, rank up rooms, and people who rank down, add me to your friends list. My name is hockypmp89. Socom 2 is really one of the best games around, especially the online part. But why is it still possible to cheat and glitch? Is there really nothing that the creators can do about it? I love to play the game but here in Europe the cheating is just getting started. And what about the aborting?
The game is supposed to be fun but when you win a round and everybody on the losing team is aborting, and they just get away with it. No punishment or nothing, and the ranking isn't so fair either, The good and fair players get punished because they do not abort or cheat, strange huh? it looks like they wanted guys to cheat and abort when they created the game. A lot of people I know don't even wanna play anymore because of cheats. When we bought the game people said that there was no cheating possible. Guess again right.

This is one of those games where even if theres some minor flaws (as in all games) people still love it. Sure theres some glitches here and there, *cough* crossroads *cough*, but its easy to overlook that. Although the single player gets insanely hard on the harder difficulties, its overall a solid single player experience. But the real draw is the online mode which, in my opinion, is the best online game that PS2 has. Theres friends lists to keep track of your friends, and you can see if anyone from your clan is on. Its just a great experience. There is some lag on the the servers but for free its not bad. Then there is the improved graphics. The graphics are good (not the best)except for the stupid fog which makes it so you can only see about 200 feet... Anyway the CG movies are great, and with a full orchestra used for the soundtrack, you know the music has to be good. Overall I would give this game a 9.

Hi, my socom 2 name is MommysMonster. I love this game alot, its really cool, but the cheaters make it not fun. I hate rank up rooms, and all the ppl that have captain ranks and only about 200 killls or so. I think you should earn rank like everyone else. Rank deosnt matter. I could make a new name, it would be a Lieutenatnt, but my skill would be the same.my clan plays fair and deosn't glitch or nothin. I wish in a patch they wold ban all the gameshark codes, and rest of codes. If u wanna join X4C clan (strike force junior) talk to Bman13. Happy gaming, play hard and own like crazy. e mail me for questions or comments, i check mail alot, so im always on, or im always on socom lol. SOCOM 2 U.S. NAVY SEALs is the best game by far that I have ever played. But the only thing that really pisses me off is the people who constantly whine about the glitching. I don't know any glitches, I'm sure if you did you would shut up about the patch and stuff. I'm sick of being in a game and some idiot constantly complain about somebody glitching. The gamemakers don't have to worry about making socom 3 any better. this one is fine. If you wanna glitch, then glitch I don't give a crap. But don't ruin the game talking about someone glitching the whole time. The only reason they glitch is because they can't play good without it. SO JUST SHUT YOUR FRICKEN MOUTH AND DEAL WITH IT.

I thought that when the patch was made, it would get rid of all the glithing. but i was wrong. it seems like there is even more glitching then before. it makes me mad. socom 2 is the best game ever made, but i think it would be even better if they got rid of all the glitches.like this guy i know, he is able to get pass all the glitches that the patch was to supost band. it is because his ps2 is glitchy. 4 instence, he is able to get into the mountain on blizzard, and can get under the stairs on sandstorm. on crossroads any one can do this, u can craw under the stairs and fall in the garrage. if all of these glitches were fixed then it would be the best selling game. also what is with making a m16a2 fully audoe. i thing that is cheap. and problally the bigest glitch is the rank up rooms. about 80% of the captains r rank up captains. if they make a socom 3, i am hoping that they will mainy consetrait of making it glitch free. if you have any questions about the glitches and stuff, my user name is EVIL NUTS, I am on every day, just add me to your friends list and i will answer all your questions.

i play socom 2 alot its the only game i ever play now! I have 17 other games but they dont match up this this 1! I love this game! Especially when you can find 16 "people" that want to play fair. cheaters really tarnish this game's potential of being one of the best games ever. I always play honestly and i don't know how or even want to know how to cheat. My skills are good enough for me. They need no enhancement. I really like this game and whish that cheaters IPS addresses get booted for cheating, that would really get rid of the Riff Raff! Hopefully SOCOM 3 will be free of this garbage and let the real players play.I used to get mad because i thought that you had to cheat to win and i don't cheat so i would not play for long periods of time but now i got a good clan list and enough friends to play without cheating so it dose'nt bother me ass much as it used to. All in all it good but the makers need to address the above statements, and (WHERE ARE THE NEW MAPS I DID'NT BUY THIS HARD DRIVE FOR 'NUTTIN'! PEACE OUT FROM BUMBACLOT THE REAL DON DA DA! Ok now i may not know much about how good other ps2 games are,(seeing i only got my ps2 around christmas) but the first game i got was socom II. So anyway, I used to love playing halo at my friends house i thought it was the best and i started to wish they had it for ps2 cause i was planning on buying 1.... so then my dad got my socom II for christmas. So I tryed it and it was awsome! I was thinkin this is just like halo only realistickly(as in this time period!) not that halos is bad, but socom II was better than halo by far in my eyes....
Then i got an online adapter. The first time i went online i was amazed. The game flowed so smoothly even though sometimes there is lag and ur game freezes or something like that. The only disadvatage is that the glitches some people do can get anoying
so now i have a usb keyboard and a usb headset and a lot more games. I even got that hard drive too download some cool new socom updates when i origionally got it i got it for the final fantasy XI online but it turned out that socom kicked the crap out of that game too!! so now halo is basicly all i play! and the good thing is it pretty much never gets old. Theres always room for improvment because even if ur ranked number 1, the second u have a bad match or if u dont play the people behind you can easily pass you up. So back to the point....

I have seen some 1 do this invisable glitch but i cant find out how to do it anywhere, i have looked in alot of places. and to who ever said this glitch lags u up i dont belive it becuse i saw some 1 do it and he was fine but see he wasnt compleatly invisable he was just transparent and hard to see so if any 1 can tell me how to do this i would greatly aprecat it (thank you)But yah i have to put more words on this sheet so it will be posted so yes i think socom 2 is 1 of the best games ever i have only had it for about 1 month but i really like it. well this is the real story i have had socom 2 and my network adapter for about a year now but i just got it all put together a month ago but yah it is a really cool game and it is worth your money.

This game is probably by far the most addictive and action packed game i have ever played. This game is a part of my life now because of how fun it is. Their r minor problems with players but that is why there is a voting system to get them out. Don't diss this game just because of the noodie cannons and M203's, they r just a part of the game, SO GET OVER IT!!!!!
If u r just looking for an online game, this is the God of Games! If anyone disses this game, then they probably dont know how to play or they either get killed every time because they suck. There are some other problems with glitches but new patches have come out to get rid of the glitches. If u ever get this game, I recommend the following levels and Medleys: Crossroads, Breach Medley, Vigilance, Blizzard, and The Ruins.
