Hey you guys i love Socom 1& Socom 2, but the glitching is the best but the problem is there this one glitch i can never get its the one where people point up with the turret and they teleport and float, there guns on there back and there shooting from back there ect. This glitch is getting really gay because sometimes you cant even kil them. I mean i woud like to know how to do this glitch. Another one is the invisible glitch I highly recomend you do NOT try it last night i got it off a website it made my guy lag like crazy and it didn't work. This game is probably by far the most addictive and action packed game i have ever played. This game is a part of my life now because of how fun it is. Their r minor problems with players but that is why there is a voting system to get them out. Don't diss this game just because of the noodie cannons and M203's, they r just a part of the game, SO GET OVER IT!!!!!
If u r just looking for an online game, this is the God of Games! If anyone disses this game, then they probably dont know how to play or they either get killed every time because they suck. There are some other problems with glitches but new patches have come out to get rid of the glitches. If u ever get this game, I recommend the following levels and Medleys: Crossroads, Breach Medley, Vigilance, Blizzard, and The Ruins.

Ok listen for those who have never played this game before first thing you shoudl do is listen to me not the faggs who tell you the game sucked.Glitching is very little on socom 2 when i play because all you gotta do is get a good group of guys in your clan ( suck as (plays in clan games) & they wont come into your roosm in cheat.Ive never had but 1 person on thsi game cheat in a room ive been in & recoil...health bar & ect. is part of the game deal with it if your so good.The game also has teh HDD option ( sould be able to download stuff soon ).Sony has also been stepping in with the online play,giving users dopwnloadable patches to rid of the glitches.The offline play is spectacular,you can unlock guns as in the first game but now you also can unlock charecters for online play........the game has sharp shooter & shure shot control configurations,& you can adjust headset volume,look speed,& much much much other stuff through the options menu.

Good job on the game Zipper. I Found both online, and single player to be a great joy to play. I must jump on the bandwagon and say this: "STFU babies". The game is more realistic then the first, I mean come on, you're not going to kill me with an AK to the arm for real are you? Well, maybe, but not right away, the way most seem to expect in the game. I might bleed to death before I die from the shot itself. Off that boat now. This game is great, the controls took a bit to get used to, however the double push, or the hold to switch fire rate is great, I'm not a leet player by any stretch of the imagination, in fact to be blunt, I suck at the game. I need to work on my aim again, as the recoil factor is a bit more realistic, again for those who complain, you try shooting an AK and see how bad your RL recoil is....hard to shoot in a straight line isn't it? The graphics rocks, all in all game play rocks, you actually have to complete missions online in order to attain higher points, as oppossed to the first where you can just run and gun, which was no fun. If I want to run and gun, I'll go back to playing doom on my PC. If I want a game that takes skill, a sense of strategy, and overall SKILL (again which I don't have yet lol). Grow up people, stop complaining and learn to shoot a gun, learn to dodge bullets, this ain't the matrix where you can poof your way out of harms way, this is a game, enjoy it, stop crying, and turn the power button off....nuff said, GAME ROCKS!

Ok so hear it is. Forget about Xbox, that cheap screw charges for his servers. Sony at least rewards it's loyal gamers. but anyway...David you need a life...Many people can afford the what 39.99 codebreaker. It took 49.99 to buy socom 2 and another 39.99 to buy the network adaptor. By-the-way David, before you make fun of, try to talk trash, and utterly be an annoying jerk HOW ABOUT LEARNING TO SPELL AND TYPE! I can't stand how you immature kids get on and act all cool and tough, but can't even type or spell.
As for the game...recoil is part of real life, zipper only made it more realistic. Lag, happens, don't complain to the game makers or PS2, it isn't in their hands. The only people who can solve this problem is your internet connection provider. As for xbox, they are not hack proof either, no one is....we can see this with windows (the maker of xbox) had one of the biggest attacks made this year, and they were helpless. Large highly interactive maps with realistic acting camo, and life-like reactions to grenade shockwaves. high graphics for a game that has to deal with massive amounts of info transfers when online. new menus are easy to navigate. refresh automatic and when you exit a game it goes to the lobby not the main menu. friends list and easy clan lists. No need to make new names for your clan. it is added on by socom. Socom 2 is a very well made game and it has improved every problem of the original.
You people need to stop knocking it and learn to play it and not complain about it and cheat cause you refuse to learn. The game is good and rent it to find if it is a game you want, or better yet find a friend.
Try it for yourself and don't listen to all the losers who try to put others down while spreading false issues with the game.

I have socom 1 and 2 and they both kick a$$ you have to play it online other wise yuo wont have as much fun but it is still the best game out for PS2 so far they should make a 3rd, 4th.... and more of them and get them to make them more life like every time they make a new one if you dont have this game well go out and f#cking buy it ok.

I played SOCOM 1 for a while after it came out. Cheaters ruined it. SOCOM 2 on the other hand has a very smal chance of ever getting invaded by cheats. DNAS does scan the game for any "uknown" lines of code while its loading. Tyhats the main reason it takes about 5+ minutes to get the game fired up and online. I am currently ranked in the top 400 on the game and lets just say it takes a lot more skill to play legit. and no skill to snake someone elses code. The ranking system is a bit shaky if you are ranked out of the top 5000. And it takes a lot to brake into that number. I have to say this game is better than the first. It is more "noob" friendly, but skill always outshines dumb luck. I love this game and if you want to p[lay or need help get ahold of me my user name is NUKE3

This game is by far the best ps2 game yet to come out. But only online play. DO NOT buy this game if you dont have a network adapter and a compatable isp. The online play is completely addicting.Yes glitchers gamesharkers and all those other you know wuts are still in the game but just deal with it cuz no matter where you go some1 is giong to be there to give you a hard time.The new maps are awesome (Crossroads, Fish Hook) and the other socom 1 maps r still there. Added guns r awesome and the graphics r awesome. THe one bad thing in then game is the disadvantage on online between SEALS and Terrorist. Seals have an advantage with better guns(M203s Iw-80) and on lots of levels the seals have a better starting advantage.The best terrorist guns(M14 M203)the seals also have. Juat go out and buy the game so i can maybe play you and hopefully beat u(SoCoM~JaYhAwK)

Well, mostly everyone in the game knows there are some glitching in this game and people has found a way to do them. Like for example the glitch on vigilance, the one that people can jump on the roof. I do it and I saw alot of other people do it and i think its not glitching. If you can get killed while your up there then its not called glitching. The only glitch on that map is the one that you go under the ground and under the building. See that is glitching because no one can kill you. Another glitch that people do and some people complain about because they cant do it is the glitch on frostfire. That is the one that u climb on one of the crates and jump onto the balcony conected to the computer room. I cant do that one, but i saw 1 person do it. Some terrorist complain when they do it because we kill them when they are camping in the computer room. Well we wont kill them if they planted some mines by that door way. Well thats it and for anyone who complains about glitching then shut the **** up.

Man this game is so much better than the first one..i love how there isnt any cheaters and the selection of guns..there is so much more stuff in this game..but what i hate the most is how people are all sayin this game is horrible..and it is more noob friendly..well i think they are only sayin it sux is becuase they suck at it..i am in the middle of single player on commander difficulty and it is easy it should be more challenging...but what someone said about the hostages and the vips is that they shouldnt just stand there they should be able to move around..the ranking system is really messed up..and the glitch for the hostage and vip extraction is stupid..half of the people i have played with use it...they have like no kills and like 10 deaths but have like over 500 points..that is one thing that really needs to be fixed..the graphics are awesome the aftershock of the flash last longer and is alot more realistic then the first...but i love how you get infrared but it does cut some of the range off of your scope..and i think that all the weapons should be available in all levels..like how the terririst get the mgl launcher when the seals dont get there m4a1 M203 on nightstalker....but all in all it is a reallly good game.but i dont like how they changed the first levels they should have left them exactly the same except for the turrets the added..those are actually a fun part in the game...i like how there is respawn and glad that it doesnt go towards your ranking.....

This is definetly one of the best ever games and ive only got this two days ago.The missions are filled with tention and detirmination but the rewards are exellent and the levels long.You can more or less take your own route about the levels and do the objectives in any order.The objectives are fairly easy but some are hard although all put together it can be a challenge.The graphics and gameplay are amazing and brilliant with the ability to use the terrain for camoflauge.Everything is amazing on it and the music is very good especially the secret music.If you do want an easy game Ensign a hard one is Admiral or middle commander.

Socom II has by far exceeded my expectations. It is one of the most realistic covert games out there. I love the fact that they put recoil effects into the weapons. I am a MP and have fired fully automatic weapons, some of which are in the game. It was nice to see that the weapons handle like they do in real life. Foxhunt is by far one of the best levels they have. You can cover the whole area with two people if you are good enough. The level is open to a variety of different attacks, for those that like to snipe bring your rifles. It may be big and not have a lot of hiding places, but all you have to do is lay down in the grass and people will walk right by you. For those that like demolitions, you have a variety of maps you can blow stuff up in. Sujo is by far the best breach map there is. just the fact that you can get into the base with just blowing one of the perimeter fences up is awesome and the terrorist can make it out without blowing anything up, which makes it a little more difficult for the Seals to get in because they have to watch their backs now. The AI is a whole lot better in this game than the last. You don't have your fireteam making stupid mistakes as they did last time, and they follow your orders to a T. Myself being a MP think that is one of the best things they could have done, no more insubordination. The controls are the same, so you don't have to relearn them. Plus they are easy enough that any one that has never played before can pick it up and get going. All the stealth in the game makes it so realistic that it's like you are right there with the Seals. Now I understand that some people are not that stealthy, so all you have to do is work on it and try to learn patients. Patients, Teamwork, Stealth, and getting the mission done all in one piece that is what I believe being a Seal is all about. Over all great game for all players, those that like the original will love the sequel. Those that have never played will become instanly addicted. I can't wait for the third instalment. Good work guys.

This game is soo cool there is so many things to do in this game. There are so many new featers such as rocket launchers,pmn mins,unlockable skins online, shotguns,British SAS and Russian to help you in missions and Britisha nd Russian guns. 12 new online maps such as SANDSTORM,FISHHOOK,REQUIN,VIGILANCE,etc. All the old maps are more detailed and bigger than before.All the new maps are 10x bigger than BLIZZARD. But for those that dont have online they will still enjoy this game.This game is a MUST BUY.

The moment i started the first mission i thought" meh, could be better" BUT after i made it into the town and captured the terrorist leader i had changed my mind, it was sweet. Way more realistic levels, (both offline and online) Turrets are fun(infer-red scopes kick ass)And i love RGP's, Respawn games are an amazing addition to online also, and it is more realistic then before, one example, i was online and at the top sniper-place in rats nest, but i'm not much of a sniper so i pulled out my RPG, and after a minute or 2 i decided i was just going to shoot it and didnt care if anyone died, so i shot, "Suicide death fragged ? with back blast" i was like WTF? i turned around and noticed that i had killed a guy with the fire that shoots out the back of the RPG!

i was never really in to games in till i got socom2 its the best game on the market. even tho there are still glitches and cheaters its not the end of the world u can just vote people out. when people get mad about it its just gay i mean they could just leave if they are so pissed about it. well if u get socom2 play me my screen name is element_skater. also the new maps on here are awesome like fish hook. my favorite map is vig. it has the best places to hide and the coolest snipin places.i like the ranking system to its pretty fair to me but the people who say that its not its only because they suck. and i'm not very high in the ranks tho i'm only a Lt. which isnt very high but i'm pretty good.

I love this game! Especially when you can find 16 "people" that want to play fair. cheaters really tarnish this game's potential of being one of the best games ever. I always play honestly and i don't know how or even want to know how to cheat. My skills are good enough for me. They need no enhancement. I really like this game and whish that cheaters IPS addresses get booted for cheating, that would really get rid of the Riff Raff! Hopefully SOCOM 3 will be free of this garbage and let the real players play.I used to get mad because i thought that you had to cheat to win and i don't cheat so i would not play for long periods of time but now i got a good clan list and enough friends to play without cheating so it dose'nt bother me ass much as it used to. All in all it good but the makers need to address the above statements, and (WHERE ARE THE NEW MAPS I DID'NT BUY THIS HARD DRIVE FOR 'NUTTIN'! PEACE OUT FROM BUMBACLOT THE REAL DON DA DA! SOCOM 2 U.S. NAVY SEALs is the best game by far that I have ever played. But the only thing that really pisses me off is the people who constantly whine about the glitching. I don't know any glitches, I'm sure if you did you would shut up about the patch and stuff. I'm sick of being in a game and some idiot constantly complain about somebody glitching. The gamemakers don't have to worry about making socom 3 any better. this one is fine. If you wanna glitch, then glitch I don't give a crap. But don't ruin the game talking about someone glitching the whole time. The only reason they glitch is because they can't play good without it. SO JUST SHUT YOUR FRICKEN MOUTH AND DEAL WITH IT.

The game is off the hook! Its not perfect, because of the glitches.But darn close. The graphics are like silk sheets layed on a bed just made by a General. The sound is intense. Just hook up the audio cables to your stereo. A grenade will sound like it just blew up next to you. Not that I'v ever had a grenade blow up next to me. Gameplay is tight like a 21 year old virgin who aint giving it up until shes married. What makes the game whack for me is the ranking system. I think it should be based on kills not score, unless they are scoring the kills.And if they are it doesnt seem like it. They should devise a new ranking system! I have 300 more kills than deaths and 270 more wins than loses and Im still LTC Ranked at 120,000 hoping that after each game Im not deranked!..I lead a clan of more than 13. Socom II online is by far the most addictive thing to ever be created!! I am not a "gamer" by any stretch of the imagination, but this game has got me hooked. The intense action involved in a good match is equal to any thing you could ever dream. So many different aspects make this game good. The graphics, the gun seltion, the strategy, the teamwork. Another reaaly cool aspect is joining a clan. I have met some of the coolest cats in my clan and we all live in different areas of the country and all love this game. The only true downfall to Socom II is the terrible lag that exists in some maps like Bitter Jungle, Night Stalker and a few others. These maps are great but they really are hampered by the lag.
So if you dont know Socom....GET SOCOM and GET ONLINE!!

interestingly i find it enjoying to sit down and slit some throats and pump some terrorists full of lead and shrapnel after a hard day of getting pissed off at idiots...it's very satisfying...plus you get to see it in intense graphical imaging... but anyways this is probably the most realistic combat simulation available to civilan gamers i personally love the game... i couldn't give a $h!t about the weapons as long as i have my three baisic weapons... a Sniper Rifle...an MP-Hk5... an m4a1 and an M60E3 :) ... never leave home without them... the game is rather easy but after you beat it it's even more fun to see how fast you can do it ...or how perfectly you can do it ...personally i run through killing everything in sight even a few civilians that happen to cross the line of fire...but after i find out how to do everything then i go through and get 100's :) i wonder how many people have actully gotten 100 every time... and i know most people are liars so i won't belive it unless i see a screenshot:)~+"Say Hello To my Little Friend" Antonio "Scarface" Montana+~ ,'=- >BaNg<
