SOCOM 2 is a great game and is nothing like newbs say it is. |

Socom 2 is an awesome game, and all this u hear about people saying u can't kill people and crap, is BS, i used to say the same thing, but it just takes a little time to get used to the new damage system, it is actually alot more realistic, because now if someone shoots you in the foot with a sniper rifle, you don't die, it takes alot of health though, and if you get shot in the center of the chest or head, you're done. All the people you hear complain about SOCOM 2 are either really new, or just suck period. There are a couple spots where people can glitch in the game, and crap like that, but u can always vote them off, and to andy324< remove me > at bellsouth.net u asked about a better gun, try the IW-80 as a seal, and the m14 as a terrorist, they are in my view the best guns, and my stats are 3400 kills and 1700 deaths, so i have done pretty well, i am ranked about 150 and i was at 20 about a week ago. later guys.

Hi, my socom 2 name is MommysMonster. I love this game alot, its really cool, but the cheaters make it not fun. I hate rank up rooms, and all the ppl that have captain ranks and only about 200 killls or so. I think you should earn rank like everyone else. Rank deosnt matter. I could make a new name, it would be a Lieutenatnt, but my skill would be the same.my clan plays fair and deosn't glitch or nothin. I wish in a patch they wold ban all the gameshark codes, and rest of codes. If u wanna join X4C clan (strike force junior) talk to Bman13. Happy gaming, play hard and own like crazy. e mail me for questions or comments, i check mail alot, so im always on, or im always on socom lol. Dont be a cheater they mess up alot of games. hahahahahah hah ha ha ha ha, Later.

i play socom 2 alot its the only game i ever play now! I have 17 other games but they dont match up this this 1! I got online for socom 2 on May 8th and every day and night i play it!Xbox may be coming out with some good games but they will never match up to SOCOM 2 U.S NAVY SEALS!!! if u want to add me to friends list my name is bax4. and if u add me type a message about the review that u saw or somwthing like that...i usually play in us east 1-10 or e-seals so if u can find me it would be good to hear from you all...

I think that socom 2 is the best game ever made for any console (except the PC). i am very graetful that socom is not on xobx because i personally think xbox is the worst thing to happend to gaming. As for DNSA, i think its amazing. and all the cheaters are so FOCKING GAY they cheat because if they played without the cheats they woould suck horribly. i don't get codebreakers because i think i5t is just gay and the games are more fun playing them legit, not because i can't afford it. i hope i run into a few cheaters because it's the funniest thing ever when a cheater gets killed by a legit player. everytime i run into a god dam cheater i wish i could meet them and just punch them in the face. that is how much i hate those piece of crap good for nothing cheaters that would suck if they were legit.

Ok, Socom 2 is the best game u can play online for ps2, But The cheaters are back....I cant give spacifics "b/c i hate cheaters" on how to cheat but u can boost your score to like 1000points in a game with vip's. Man I hate cheaters. But yea this game is all around kicka$$. The sound goes away when a flashbang, or frag goes off. You lose vision and the sscreen shakes. It makes it feel like it is real..Some guns are weaker but u gata do what u gata to kill someone. The heath meter is better now. u can get hit in the hand and it dosent do anything but a smidge. A head shot is an auto kill. I play this game everyday for 4 hours.U have to have 150 words thats y i am putting this in here. if u wana hit me up.. PEACE.. ps good job zipper.

ok i have xbox and i dont think it sucks but ps2 is by far better then xbox. xbox may have good graphics and everything but the games are just so fake except for ghost recon but that is like too realistic and i havent played counterstrike but ive heard by many people that it sucks big dick and another game is ranbow6 3 and that one is good but when you compare that to socom 2 socom 2 comes out to be the winner and i think that the best game for xbox is halo and i cant wait for halo 2 but if it were a choice between socom 2 and halo 2 socom 2 is my number 1 choice. and tell me if there was a game that had the best graphics ever like it looked real but all you would do is $#< remove me > at !ing shoot someone with a rocket launcher would you play that other then a game with a little worse graphics then it but was the best game like socom 2, tell me what game you would choose and my socom 2 name is pimp but the i is alt the second i from the left on alt so add me to your friends list and see if you can join my clan im not the leader but if you are good enough then im sure that you can join because our clan suck and we need some good players.

I abosultley love this game i cant think of ne other game id rather play as hard as try i cannot get sick of it i love playing online except there a few minor problems one lag 9999 shots to kill people if its laggy and 2 gettin shot through a wall sucks other than that its freggin amazing i play it everyday and if u dont have it and u got a online adapter ur freggin insane you can shoot grenade launchers the guns are acttually real my buddys in the army and he uses an m16a2 m203 in real life in iraq the m4ai m203 is a sweet gun the shotguns are nice i love the hkksd and my all time favorite gun that the made so much better on this game THE ONEAND ONLY M14! but what also its really cool is the mines even tho when i lag's u can run right over them but another sweet feature is the thermal scopes on the sniper rifles i regulate body heat through bushes and long distance shots

I liked reading Davids comments about how the DNAS servers can't stop cheat codes. It's obvious that David doesn't know what he's talking about. The DNAS server registers your IP, your game disc, and your NA and your PS2 onto the network. It also reads your memory card, and blocks and suspends players for incorrect codes on the memory cards. The game IS cheat free so far. The DNAS can also be updated with ANY and ALL new codes that do come out, and can be blocked within a timely manner. It may not be immediate, but it'll be there.
Now, onto the game itself. Very little, if any glitches were found after the beta test. I rated it an 8 because of the lag. Well, big surprise. The internet has lag. I know. It's shocking isn't it? The game itself is awesome. The have redone all of the maps and added more foilage, darkness, turrets, etc to the game. The new maps are incredible. The team is based strongly on team effort, the days of runners and gunners are gone for the most part. it blows away SOCOM I by far. I have had the game since it came out, and STILL have not had the chance to play on ALL of the maps yet. get the game, you'll be feeding your addiction soon enough.
Oh, and a personal note to "David", If you were skilled to begin with - you wouldn't need the cheat codes now, would you?

If you thought Socom U.S. Navy SEALS 1 was the great wait till you play Socom2. Socom2 has some of the best graphics ever designed. Socom1 online was great but, you always hated those cheaters. In Socom2 there will aboslutly zero cheaters. But some how unfortunatly they will find a to cheat. With 10 maps and 10 new guns this will surely be the best online game ever. Single player mode will is absolutly crazy because there are new commands and new actions to use. You get to play as Specter like in the first socom Specter was one of your teamates you get to play as him. With Vandal, Wardog, and Jester(your trusty sidekick). Socom2 is by far the greatest game ever made!Look for me at Raven_Arrow. Later!

Best game ever made. Socom us navy seals 2 is 10x better than socom 1 and now it has DNAS testing so no cheaters can get in the games and mess them up. On the down side I do not like how the ranks and emblums are set up, email me if you disagree.

Being a former U.S. Army Ranger, I was impressed with SOCOM. The second installment is even better! Although this is a Navy Seals game, the Special Ops theme is what drew me to the game in the first place. I enjoyed the fact that there was NO learning curve into gameplay from the first SOCOM. Also, the overall game enhancements were a GREAT improvement. The absolute best thing about SOCOM 2 is that BOOMER isn't there getting himself and everyone around him killed. I am running my PS2 through my Home theatre and the sound dynamics are incredible. A must for everyone.. I haven't connected to the online play yet as my friends have yet to buy the game, but if the gameplay for a single player has been enhanced to my extreme satisfaction, I can't wait to get the Clan set up and go Team on Team.. Three words. Lag,lag,lag. First you have to be fortunate enough to not to have someone in the room not to have any lag. I hate shooting somthing thats mot there. Second if it is a massive shootout there is lag in the game. Now i know this is not the games fault it is the PS2 ,but still it takes away from the game. I can only wait for this game to evolve. yes the game did evolve, but but only a microcosm for example hostages stand around waiting to be shoot. It is so lame that they dont crouch when you have control. The ranking system is a total joke it means nothing. I was ranked at 19,000 and then i got booted from a game. My rank jump all the way down to 112,000 after 3 rounds! BOOTY. I will not waste my money again. I will wait for PS3 and a better version of socom.

The graphics are not as good as i hoped. The fact that u can shoot people through the walls is cheep. The mines are a pain in the ass... u walk over them and boom u go flyin but don't die what good is that...?
The wepons are good(my fav. the auto shotgun) and game play is pritty good. In single player missions there are some glitchs but i don't mind (unlimited ammo).
Overall this game is a pritty good game... i will post my online name for u people. i would say to u people if u liked the first SOCOM go buy this one.

I thought that when the patch was made, it would get rid of all the glithing. but i was wrong. it seems like there is even more glitching then before. it makes me mad. socom 2 is the best game ever made, but i think it would be even better if they got rid of all the glitches.like this guy i know, he is able to get pass all the glitches that the patch was to supost band. it is because his ps2 is glitchy. 4 instence, he is able to get into the mountain on blizzard, and can get under the stairs on sandstorm. on crossroads any one can do this, u can craw under the stairs and fall in the garrage. if all of these glitches were fixed then it would be the best selling game. also what is with making a m16a2 fully audoe. i thing that is cheap. and problally the bigest glitch is the rank up rooms. about 80% of the captains r rank up captains. if they make a socom 3, i am hoping that they will mainy consetrait of making it glitch free. if you have any questions about the glitches and stuff, my user name is EVIL NUTS, I am on every day, just add me to your friends list and i will answer all your questions.

Socom 2 is the best game ever to be made ever(heh).It has pretty good graphics, great affects,and great online play. One of the great things about socom 2 is that the 1 player game is based almost entirly on stealth and being unsee. You can be seen but you would be a lot better off going through a level with a sniper and frags then playing run and shoot. The only bad thing is the online play is exactly that. most people would prefer to run out and shoot till they die. If you like the 1 player game and want to play online do a mission based level. In the mission based levels your pretty much doing 1 player only with other people.The bad thing is there are "lags",where ur game kind of freezes) glitches, and worst of all cheaters. If there weren't cheaters Then this game would be near perfect. (even though i ranked it 10 anyway) If you want a good shooter that doesnt get old then get socom 2!!!!

Its is a really good game. I never did play Socom 1, but I heard now the people that play it online only play it for the cheats. The only thing I don't like on Socom 2 is the glitches, and the ranking system. I will have a good game, and still go down in the rankings. Whats up with that? My favorite map is Fish Hook. I dont really like the datk maps, because I have bad eye sight, and its hard to see the enemy in the datk. If anyone can tell me whats up with the ranking system, e-mail me, and let me know. That makes me mad they cant get the ranking system right.

This game is awesome. Ya there seems to be lag sometimes but oh well..That would be my only complaint. Other than that, this game is so much better than the first one. The guns are great, harder to kill cuz of tha health bar but o well, it takes skill. Harder to kill people means u gotta have better aim so if u cant kill ppl then get some accuracy goin and ull be fine. The new maps i love them, the scoring system sorta sux how ppl who arent really an MVP can get mvp so i think that is BS but o well, tha rankin system is based on ur score not ur stats basically so thats both good and bad in ways. I love this game more than the first one, and i loved that one 2!!I got people playing this game who havent yet, thats how tight it is, and yes..very addicting!!Cant wait for asocom 3!!but for now imma enjoy this game as much as i can.

As an avid gamer and thrilled of shooter games, I longed awaited SOCOM 2. SOCOM 2 definitely went to the gadgets and realism is still a plus. Movement is better and maps are much more advanced. Long gone are the days of "2-4 shots and your dead."- a life meter is present. Watch it though, one serious jump and you could lose half your life! The only thing it seems to me is that they went the opposite direction in colors/graphics. Some of the scenarios seems a bit "cartoony" but then again, there are some that look amazingly real. This will remain atop in the "SHOOTERS" category for quite some time. Just don't let GAMESHARKS ruin the play of the game, please.
