Three words. Lag,lag,lag. First you have to be fortunate enough to not to have someone in the room not to have any lag. I hate shooting somthing thats mot there. Second if it is a massive shootout there is lag in the game. Now i know this is not the games fault it is the PS2 ,but still it takes away from the game. I can only wait for this game to evolve. yes the game did evolve, but but only a microcosm for example hostages stand around waiting to be shoot. It is so lame that they dont crouch when you have control. The ranking system is a total joke it means nothing. I was ranked at 19,000 and then i got booted from a game. My rank jump all the way down to 112,000 after 3 rounds! BOOTY. I will not waste my money again. I will wait for PS3 and a better version of socom.

What happened? I was expecting a lot more from socom 2. I was expecting more stealth abilities; such as moving silently under water and suprisingthe enamies with a stealth kill..or both members of a team taking down an enamy at the same time in stealth mode..There should have been more attacts than just the knife and butstroke. Also Navy Seals usually operate in even and eary am hours and carry three weapons: 1 side arm (pistal)-a riffel and a sub machine gun for close quarters attacts. Zipper should have done more research.
Graphics aren't all that great. WISH there had been an XBOX version WTF not?????? I would have much rather if they had remade socom 1 with smarter AI. the only improvement in the game is the teams intelligents. Socom 1 has better missions.

the health bar sucks. i hate it. the noodie cannon and the nood tube suck. they are for the noobs who suck at socom 2. the cheating also sucks. people are sellin codes and chetas on ebay for like 10 bucks and they email the gameshark codes and other stuff to you. my name on socom 2 is /ARCHANGEL\ if anyone wants a beating one on one. overall this game is alright but it could be alot better. so if the people that are going to make socom 3 read this get rid of the recoil, gameshark codes, glitches and all of the other cheating things that you can do because if i buy socom 3 and its like socom2 with all of the codes and stuff like that iwon't buy any other socom game or any other game that zipper interactive makes. oh ya almost forgot get rig of the life bar.

Ok, first offi think the game is great and a whole lot more realistic thatn the first one, plus the new additions to the older maps is just makin it a little harder so you have to have some idea of what your doing, or if your a noob and suck, then that's the point where you'll just walk around aimlessly until you do find an opponent. how the gun reciols now also makes it alot more realistic, which shows who can really shoot a gun, since most people (like =stalker=) cant handle the recoil, it just makes it more fun for me. The new maps are prettty good, and i kinda like how they added some new guns (noob cannons).the only thing i found a little funny is the scoring system, but i guess it makes it so you have to do more than just shoot people and get the most kills.

Hi, my socom 2 name is MommysMonster. I love this game alot, its really cool, but the cheaters make it not fun. I hate rank up rooms, and all the ppl that have captain ranks and only about 200 killls or so. I think you should earn rank like everyone else. Rank deosnt matter. I could make a new name, it would be a Lieutenatnt, but my skill would be the same.my clan plays fair and deosn't glitch or nothin. I wish in a patch they wold ban all the gameshark codes, and rest of codes. If u wanna join X4C clan (strike force junior) talk to Bman13. Happy gaming, play hard and own like crazy. e mail me for questions or comments, i check mail alot, so im always on, or im always on socom lol. Dont be a cheater they mess up alot of games. hahahahahah hah ha ha ha ha, Later.

The moment i started the first mission i thought" meh, could be better" BUT after i made it into the town and captured the terrorist leader i had changed my mind, it was sweet. Way more realistic levels, (both offline and online) Turrets are fun(infer-red scopes kick ass)And i love RGP's, Respawn games are an amazing addition to online also, and it is more realistic then before, one example, i was online and at the top sniper-place in rats nest, but i'm not much of a sniper so i pulled out my RPG, and after a minute or 2 i decided i was just going to shoot it and didnt care if anyone died, so i shot, "Suicide death fragged ? with back blast" i was like WTF? i turned around and noticed that i had killed a guy with the fire that shoots out the back of the RPG!

I dont know. But i have never seen a game better than this one. Online!!! its crazy fun!! Except for the glitches and lagging games.My favorite gun is the m14.I am ranked 68000 . My name for Socom 2 is WILITO. ill be on everyday. On fridays and saturdays im on till like 5 'o clock in the morning. ill just sit there and play for hours. My favorite levels are Fish Hook, Crossroads,Frostfire,Vigilance and Sujo.The missions are ok but online gaming is awesome. I dont play the missions that much. Im only on level 4. Yesterday all i had to do was move to extraction and the killed me while i was going. i was so close to the extraction point X.I only had a little life left. I play on commander. i beat the game in ensign and liutenant. I unlocked the characters.

I have seen some 1 do this invisable glitch but i cant find out how to do it anywhere, i have looked in alot of places. and to who ever said this glitch lags u up i dont belive it becuse i saw some 1 do it and he was fine but see he wasnt compleatly invisable he was just transparent and hard to see so if any 1 can tell me how to do this i would greatly aprecat it (thank you)But yah i have to put more words on this sheet so it will be posted so yes i think socom 2 is 1 of the best games ever i have only had it for about 1 month but i really like it. well this is the real story i have had socom 2 and my network adapter for about a year now but i just got it all put together a month ago but yah it is a really cool game and it is worth your money.

SOCOM 2 U.S. NAVY SEALs is the best game by far that I have ever played. But the only thing that really pisses me off is the people who constantly whine about the glitching. I don't know any glitches, I'm sure if you did you would shut up about the patch and stuff. I'm sick of being in a game and some idiot constantly complain about somebody glitching. The gamemakers don't have to worry about making socom 3 any better. this one is fine. If you wanna glitch, then glitch I don't give a crap. But don't ruin the game talking about someone glitching the whole time. The only reason they glitch is because they can't play good without it. SO JUST SHUT YOUR FRICKEN MOUTH AND DEAL WITH IT.

Ok, Socom 2 is the best game u can play online for ps2, But The cheaters are back....I cant give spacifics "b/c i hate cheaters" on how to cheat but u can boost your score to like 1000points in a game with vip's. Man I hate cheaters. But yea this game is all around kicka$$. The sound goes away when a flashbang, or frag goes off. You lose vision and the sscreen shakes. It makes it feel like it is real..Some guns are weaker but u gata do what u gata to kill someone. The heath meter is better now. u can get hit in the hand and it dosent do anything but a smidge. A head shot is an auto kill. I play this game everyday for 4 hours.U have to have 150 words thats y i am putting this in here. if u wana hit me up.. PEACE.. ps good job zipper.

i love socom, its the best online game and best overall game ever created for any system. it doesnt compare to halo. sorry halo lovers but socom PWNs halo. the third person view is much better then first person. i love socom, o snap i havnt played in 10 minutes, gotta go play. but i have to keep typing till i get to 150 words or i cant post it so im just going to keep rambling on untill i get to 150 words i wonder if im there yet? nope i wasnt, maybe i might be there by now? SHlT i still wasnt, i have to be now! my god i have to play socom, im going to beat the shizz out of my god dam computer!! wtf? still not 150 words, i gotta be there now this is at least 200 words, i think there is a glinch it my computer

Well let me start out by saying thank you to Zipper Interactive and Sony for releasing what has to be the best game to ever hit the PS2 console. If you liked Socom 1, then Socom 2 will leave you in total dismay! I havent even touched the single player missions, but the online maps and gameplay are unreal. New weapons, new uniforms and new surroundings make this game the best I have ever played. There are way too many things for me to sit here and list about the game so I will leave it at this. Socom 1 was amazing, well Socom 2 blows it away hands down. Trust me, I was addicted to Socom 1 and now I am affraid to see what 2 is going to do to me. (22 online maps) So look out for me in Central 4!! (CMD) Bazerk

I would give a 10 but I was curious of Kahuna and Boomer but no word was ever mentioned of what happened. The graphics is outstanding and the interaction with the surroundings is awesome. The story is believeable and rich. the added extra of havin some reknown voices is a nice touch, but they do seem to sound alittle strained as if readin from a script. The stoy line part has hours of game play not includin the online multiplayer. The hidden objectives has a well rounded natural feeling that compliments real life situations of having to think on your feet and never knowing what is goin to happen. Overall this game makes me wish I had joined the U.S Navy Seals.(I think that was what they were trying for)

Well nobody stinks at this game.Its probably you just didn't get used to the buttons.It takes awhile to actually get used to it.Believe me it took along time before i got used to it.Once you get about to the 3rd board you'll become good.The 1st board is good practice.Practice will help you on this game probably more than any other game.You'll also get used to the buttons
V E R Y F A S T.The Mr. Pickle board is chaos.Note:may want to use a cheat for that evil board.You even have to FACE A CHOPPER.
Doesn't that sound fun?But Will Anybody be able to beat it with a cheat?Is there such thing as a Socom 1 cheat?The 10th board is exellent practice.Its not easy.I beat it by charging with a grenade launcher.

If you thought Socom U.S. Navy SEALS 1 was the great wait till you play Socom2. Socom2 has some of the best graphics ever designed. Socom1 online was great but, you always hated those cheaters. In Socom2 there will aboslutly zero cheaters. But some how unfortunatly they will find a to cheat. With 10 maps and 10 new guns this will surely be the best online game ever. Single player mode will is absolutly crazy because there are new commands and new actions to use. You get to play as Specter like in the first socom Specter was one of your teamates you get to play as him. With Vandal, Wardog, and Jester(your trusty sidekick). Socom2 is by far the greatest game ever made!Look for me at Raven_Arrow. Later!

i was never really in to games in till i got socom2 its the best game on the market. even tho there are still glitches and cheaters its not the end of the world u can just vote people out. when people get mad about it its just gay i mean they could just leave if they are so pissed about it. well if u get socom2 play me my screen name is element_skater. also the new maps on here are awesome like fish hook. my favorite map is vig. it has the best places to hide and the coolest snipin places.i like the ranking system to its pretty fair to me but the people who say that its not its only because they suck. and i'm not very high in the ranks tho i'm only a Lt. which isnt very high but i'm pretty good.

I like the game so much that i cant wait to get home fun work and play it.It is so much fun and the people on it are fun to.Me and my wife have met some many people on it that we can actully call friends,And have actully met a few of them.the graphics and detail.in this game is awesome.I gcant wait till socom 3 come out,I just hope that it is as good as this one.The maps in this game are good.The only down fall i have is that you have to buy a HDD to play the three new maps,Ihave all three maps but the HDD are so hard to find,I have lokk everywhere for it and nobody has one.My name on socom is MIK OXLONG so dont be afraid to say hi and look foward to playing with you and good luck and have fun

This game is way better than the first one. it has way better weapons,teammates,ect.If you like a good game this is the game for you,mycomments is they really put some work in this game and they have out done them selves this time I mean better graphics,differnt teammates,hey I love this game .Like I said if you like good teamwork,weapons,stealth/folige you should really buy this game.n both games/soccom1&2 you get headsets normanly other games dont have it/it is a really big parts of the games you can talk to your teammates and they actully listen.ive got to go but before i go let me tell you this is a really good game I think ill go play it right now.bye
