W00t! This is what we've all been waiting for. It has everything plus extras. The game has all the old maps... plus they kinda made em different (abandoned sucks now cuz it's dark)and the new ones. 1 player is actually fun now, and now there is a new type of mode where you can respawn. Buy it now!

Best game ever made. Socom us navy seals 2 is 10x better than socom 1 and now it has DNAS testing so no cheaters can get in the games and mess them up. On the down side I do not like how the ranks and emblums are set up, email me if you disagree.

well it is a good game but there are a few things that i don't like 1. it you are walking real slow the dude dose not stop moving that get as annoying as heck there is nothing like trying to sneek up on your enemyes then you go to snipe and the guy dose not stop walking 2. the game freezes a awful lot like going inbetween menus and just stops loading god that is annoying and also the load times are bad it takes forever to load the main menue i like the lan feature though that is cool and my last petpeve the voice commands i like the thing where the mic lights up on the bottom of the screen but i noticed no matter how ever i say some commands they never regester like team move to crosshairs ect they are like what are you talking about and a little question about socom 1 because i stoppted playing the single player missions when i got multiplay anyway what happened to boomer did he die just wondering because that was my nickname

Being a former U.S. Army Ranger, I was impressed with SOCOM. The second installment is even better! Although this is a Navy Seals game, the Special Ops theme is what drew me to the game in the first place. I enjoyed the fact that there was NO learning curve into gameplay from the first SOCOM. Also, the overall game enhancements were a GREAT improvement. The absolute best thing about SOCOM 2 is that BOOMER isn't there getting himself and everyone around him killed. I am running my PS2 through my Home theatre and the sound dynamics are incredible. A must for everyone.. I haven't connected to the online play yet as my friends have yet to buy the game, but if the gameplay for a single player has been enhanced to my extreme satisfaction, I can't wait to get the Clan set up and go Team on Team.. Well let me start out by saying thank you to Zipper Interactive and Sony for releasing what has to be the best game to ever hit the PS2 console. If you liked Socom 1, then Socom 2 will leave you in total dismay! I havent even touched the single player missions, but the online maps and gameplay are unreal. New weapons, new uniforms and new surroundings make this game the best I have ever played. There are way too many things for me to sit here and list about the game so I will leave it at this. Socom 1 was amazing, well Socom 2 blows it away hands down. Trust me, I was addicted to Socom 1 and now I am affraid to see what 2 is going to do to me. (22 online maps) So look out for me in Central 4!! (CMD) Bazerk

As an avid gamer and thrilled of shooter games, I longed awaited SOCOM 2. SOCOM 2 definitely went to the gadgets and realism is still a plus. Movement is better and maps are much more advanced. Long gone are the days of "2-4 shots and your dead."- a life meter is present. Watch it though, one serious jump and you could lose half your life! The only thing it seems to me is that they went the opposite direction in colors/graphics. Some of the scenarios seems a bit "cartoony" but then again, there are some that look amazingly real. This will remain atop in the "SHOOTERS" category for quite some time. Just don't let GAMESHARKS ruin the play of the game, please.

If you thought Socom U.S. Navy SEALS 1 was the great wait till you play Socom2. Socom2 has some of the best graphics ever designed. Socom1 online was great but, you always hated those cheaters. In Socom2 there will aboslutly zero cheaters. But some how unfortunatly they will find a to cheat. With 10 maps and 10 new guns this will surely be the best online game ever. Single player mode will is absolutly crazy because there are new commands and new actions to use. You get to play as Specter like in the first socom Specter was one of your teamates you get to play as him. With Vandal, Wardog, and Jester(your trusty sidekick). Socom2 is by far the greatest game ever made!Look for me at Raven_Arrow. Later!

Ive had socom for about a year and its great. Socom 2 is ten times betta. Rocket launchers, tanks and 552 silenced. Online is going to be the greatest. U can c whose talkin, theres something called dna so no one can cheat. Dont forget that there are 20 new commands in one player and in online there are 10 new maps and 10 maps from socom. Also there are 10 new guns. LOOK FOR my screename HONKIDAS. BEST GAME EVER!!!!!!!!!

plus it has real life situations like terrorist coming after u
with machine guns.Theres headset commands where get to boss your
teamates around.theres secret commands too, like team report in
and they will tell u there status and what there doing.this time
enemies yell your possition to other terrorist.did I Mention THey like to travel in groups with other terrorist.AnyBody whose looking for a really, really, really,great game this is the game you want to buy man.it's really, sweet .this game has too be the best game you have ever played in your life thats what socom 2 is about. even if your not into war games, (action games) i'll bet you you will love this game.It is better than the first socom us navy seals .you will love it i gurantee it . that my review for socom 2 us navy seals.

This is the best game ever!!! If u thought medal of honour was good, just try this game!!! It has wicke guns and the controls are easy to remember.Compared to the guys in socom 1, thes soldiers are brain surgeons!! Great improvement!!! If u like 1st person shooters, u will LOVE this game(unless ur a pathetic loser that gives up once u die once).
