ok, heres the deal..Riseing sun was sweet but the levels are way to short,there's not enough gun,s,A.I sucked,needs vehicles,Game to short.ok first topic....levels...The levels are ok but for one...Your character should talk....Extend langth of levels. The guns were good but man we need alot more guns...i mean alot ok the B.A.R is a clasic so is the M1 Garand so they were ok...but the model 12 trench gun has to go..i mean gunny kept that shot gun the whole game......dont have them keep the same gun through the whole game....and you should put like an ammo depo so like through out the levels you can get new guns....Oh,Dont forget Put in Lugers! Next..vehicles...really all that E.A put in was turrent to machine gun to turret to machin gun to tail gun of a bomber...come on ppl put in some vehicles you can be in and drive or be in a vehicle and shoot I mean a vehicle really that you can control.the A.I was ok but it was like.....your hideing somewhere and they come out of no where and seem like they know where your at and start shooting at you...man thats crap....and the american team...man they just run back and forth,back and forth,And when gunny was in the tank and was at the road block at the end of his ride a jap came up to me i was next to the tank and the tank didnt shoot....gunny didnt shoot....so that was dumb....and in multi player when you get into the tank you use a machine gun......Why ppl Why? Do you not want us to use a tank turret? well any ways.....I think you guys should add a boot camp that would rock.....with the basic training stuff like that and be able to call air strikes Kinda like...Full spectrum warrior But still MOH like.....and the game needs to be a lot longer! you need fortresses.....diffrent tanks and plains...Kick *** sounds and music ( Yet riseing sun and front line music rocked that a 100% man).And maby....NOT CHEATING ( meaning-I was shooting the japs that went after your guys brother and they wouldent die) better cheat codes and lotz of movies I love those history movies. that all ppl thx for reading ps. I Liked that thing on frontline "A good day to dye" do alot more stuff like that the slow-mo part was cool!

Medel of Honor riseing sun has exallent guns, eniemies, and every thing else rules!( Exept when the jap kills Tanka).If you like war games you love this one!The game rules!I love it!Its simple if you keep trying.The multiplayer campain rules to!There is alot of levels for a while of fun but what stinks is that there should be more!When you and Bromly fly of in the zero when the aircraft carrier sinks he says ''lets get your brother.''Then it ends!Sure thats a con but hay the games gold.I loved the game and i hope you do to. Yes it could be improved but EA made another hit.EA you guys rule!!!!Theres tons of unlockabels and codes so start playing!I recomend getting a used but its your choice.

Medal of Honour Rising Sun had a great story to it. It is quite fun. I bought it about 5 months ago and I still play it all the time. now that i am almost finished I only play the missions when i am bored and i usually have friends around so I play them at multiplayer. If I dont have friends around then i just play my family or neighbours. It would be way better if you could play it on xbox live. the graphics are good but not as good as some of the games that i have played before. it is in the war so everything is ment to be dirty but I still think that the game lacks of colour. if you look down a road you can mainly see one colour but a lot of different shades in which dosn't look that excyting. The levels have a lot of adventure in which is one of the main things that I look for in games. in most of the games that I have played when another person shoots all you hear is bang, but in Medal of Honour you can actually hear the bullet as if it is comming right past you!
$100 in New Zealand is worth it for this great game as it has lots of adventure and it is lots of fun so I would recomend it for all those game fans out there!

The game is cool yet they should put more missions,action, enemies,sound effects, and weapons.I do like the multi-player and the cheats though. THE ENDING should be like Medal of honor frontline's ending and the battles should be like Call of Duty. They should make the japanese,germans and the allies tougher and smarter like the real people during ww2.I wish they could put Iwo Jima in this game,it may be better and the levels seems real.The sound effects aren't exciting and the enemies who do banzia should run faster except the officers with swords.

I brought this game last year and i still play it all the time. The game is so cool. From shooting a Japenese soldier to trying to bullet pierce a tank...this game kicks ass. very great in four player mode.
Graphics:8 nice texture and colors
Sound:8 you can hear the bullets fly.
Lifespan:10 I brought it one years ago and I still play it.
Fun factor:10 Hours of pure fun.
Multiplay mode:10 THE BEST MULTIPLAYER IN ANY GAME. If you got any friends... buy this game.

This game was fantastic!!!!
i found the graphics amazing and the sound was so clear you could hear every detail.
The story line was amazing aswell, each mission never really had anything similar to the last in most cases.
1 thing i didn't like about this game was the fact that on the 2 player mission mode you had less missions than on the one player mode.i also found the multyplayer option lacking in detail i found that once i had played one multyplayer game didn't want to do it again.despite this i found the game very addictive, every time i got off the game i wanted to go on it again.the controls for the game are a bit complex and hard to understand at first but this is just a small hurdle to overcome.
the game was good fun as the missions were very long which kept your attention for a very long time. out of a rating of 10 for fun the game desrves a 9.the weapons on some missions were a bit difficult to control, these were mainly machine guns and shotguns but this just added to the fun.the game was alittle pricy at £45 but all newish games are like this.
MY OPINION IS THAT THIS IS ONE OF MY MOST FAVOURITE GAMES EVER!!!!!!!!!

What a waste of $50. Too many glitches... Too few levels...Too easy...Too predictable... Too boering. All the Japanese soilders react the same. I could not shot any Japs in a room that I had not crossed the door threshold, I got stuck in the hotel (could'nt open door to kitchen in ballroom) I had to restart first level several times( kept freezing in same spot) Head shots didn't drop Japs like they should have. The weapons selection sucked. The graphics were o.k. but very basic. Sounds were basic too. EA rushed to finish this game in time for X-Mass release and put out one big pile of crap. No way I buy the next one on release date, I'll wait for the player reviews first.

when I first tried this game i thought i wouldent like it but when i played it the graphics where asome but the levels where short but after beting it a few times they semmed a little longer.also the graphics where great they seemed so real and sick.the sound was sourda good but i liked the guns better i mean i played so many gun games but this is still the best.plus the pepole looked so reallistick.so far i played all the medal of honor games but this one is the best. also i loved the multiplayer mode more than the real game.i cheacked the online multiplayer it was sick playeing with my friends online but dont take my infomation you shoud cheak it out yourself.

He just runs off with your brother like thier going on a honnymoon or something. And also the game is 9 frickin
levels long! But any way I like the way how you can play the real game in 2 player mode. Its just in 2 player is only
8 levels long .8 LEVELS! 8 LEVELS LONG! Alright heres how i I see it.Good graphics,good guns,good levels,not enough level ,not a good ending and a gay Commander who cuts your partners throght!

The game is too short ok fair enough more levels are required. However for the 9 missions you get (7 two player campaign missions) this game is awesome it is very challenging and quite addictive its only worth the money if you don't mind the shortness. There is a wide range of weapons available graphics are cool they are not really great but they are certainly not rubbish. The multiplayer skirmishes are great as well its there if you want a shoot out with your mates or just want to kill americans or japs you can have a free for all or team deathmatch.
The actual game with all the missions and multiplayer options is definetely a ten out of ten its a good game but if you are only going to buy it then complete it and then never gonna play it again then its definetely not worth your money but if you go on multiplayer a lot and try missions over and over again on a different difficulty then this is worth £40.00.
Can't wait for the next one

This game is the shortest game ever played!!!!!And its to easy at least Socom2 is not short and easy.Lets hope the next MOH is longer and harder.The thing i like about this game is the multiplayer i think its cool.but no match for Socom.Bromlys cool to but socom is the best. im runing out of things to say.what rules says you have to write 100 words.that rule sucks!im geting bored. i hope this is almost 100 words!Yes i writed 1oo words.all man no its not.isit now no.get socom 2. yes

this game was generally a decent game. aside from a few problems with the aiming and the survival of some enemy soldiers after clean headshots i think it rocks. the a.i. comes as close as possible to demonstrating the ferocity of the japanese soldiers demonstrated by the repeated stabbing inflicted if you allow them in range. the gameplay was sometimes choppy but bearable. the only really bad thing about it tomewas is extremely short lenght. i beat it in less than 10 hours. i just have to remember that this is only the first of what is expected to be a 3 part game, this one dedicated to the "rising sun". hopefully the next installment will be longer.

The guy that says that says this is the worst game causes he beat it less in one week.You an do that in any video game.You probrobly dont have it for the PS2 where it goes online.I like this game cause i luv WWII.I got three WWII games for XMAS!
Iv been waitn for a Pasific theater war game and its here.Maaybye you should put the game on hard..yeah. The AI is not that great in some situations.I got every console game
of MOH.Its the only console World War II game and evry one should be happy some one cares to make one.It will be the only one till Call of Duty comes out.

this game sucks i dont reccomend anyone buying this game i compleated it in a week. all the votes in shops say its the best but i dont think so. the cheats are good but the graphics sucks and so does the adventure. my brother thinks this game is the best game ever invented. even the one for ps1 beats this game. whats the point of making a game where people lost there lives. isnt it just so sad!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! my Grandad died in this war and we go on about killing Nazis and the Japenize, i dont think they like this game much. i hope others think about my thoughts and dont buy this game please dont!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

well i have 1 and 2 i love war games because i gets me pump up.some parts are hard put it takes time to get used to it..but meanwhile is fun to play with an parter and you both can join up kick butt.if you get past the boards you should be allright..i think madel of honor 2 is good better then one what do you all think of that..if they make part 3 will you buy it i will.what better playstation 2 or xbox i think playstation 2 is cool and more fun to play with an friend or a family member...let me know what do you think about medal of honor rising....

I enjoyed portions of the game but felt EA Games simply churned this out for a quick Christmas buck. The level of detail and intensity experienced in Allied Assault was missing. I would have also appreciated being able to select my own weapons from a list. The Colt45 pistol hardly has any stopping power...whats with that? A PT Boat torpedo scenaro would have been a good campaign or some other naval battle. Where was the 'Tokoyo Express' and the 'Solomon Slot' battles? Having 9 or so levels for fifty bucks is a ripe-off. And as far as first person shooter games are concerned, viewing your 'man' from above and behind as a full-figure is more enjoyable (Desert Storm allows you to toggle between 'thru-the-eyes' and 'full-figure' viewing).

This game is far worse than most shooters out there. It had a very notchy aiming system that you had to adjust to like. Only 9 levels of play! Come on. The outside levels are usually fun on shooters except for this one with bad visuals. CAUTION: don't buy this game, if you are still curious, rent it. The difficulty is way too easy on this game. I bought it and beat it in 2 days. Where has the fun gone. The only semi-decent part of this game is the multiplayer. But you can't customize the weapons. All they have is sets like every other game still. One of the cheesiest things I found was that the enemies don't come out of hiding until you mount the machine gun. Are they stupid or something. Which brings up another point, the A.I. sucks. Just run up to a guy and circle around him! I'm already sick of this game and warning you all of it.

I began this game thinking 'wow'. Good graphics. The first level was awesome, with the planes in the sky and the sheer confusion and panic really gave you a feel for what it was like to be there (think back to MOH Frontline and the beachead).
And for me the game continued to be facinating throughout. Singapore was well laid out and offered an acceptable degree of difficulty. The jungle levels kept me on my toes and absorbed me into the gameplay. Bridge over the river kwai level was fun (nice touch with the elephants). The temple level was superb, if a little easier than i would have liked.
The carrier level was quite a letdown though. I felt it was far to similar to levels in other MOH games and gave me few, if any, suprises. Except one. That was the last level. Such a disapointment. And worst of all, was the obvious lining up of the next MOH game which will obviously hit our shelves in the next couple of months.
EA have spoilt, what to me, was the best run of first person shoot-em-ups with what could have been the best of the line. The game overall was too short, too easy and didn't develop the story and charectors enough. The choice of weapons was limited and at times pointless (did anyone actually use the bazooka on the temple level). This was not good value for money and EA should issue the missing disc from the box for free to anyone who has purchased Rising Sun.
I will certainly think twice before purchasing the next game. I am normally in the shop on release date.
Come on EA. Whats happened?

You guys are right, The levels are too short. For the amount of money that you paid they could have included the cheat codes but its too easy to beat anyway. What i did't like about the game was you can empty a whole magazine clip on a Jap soldier and he still will not go down even if you are on target. Too many Japs in the foxholes got kinda old real quick. where was the cool stuff like bazookas,better sniper rifle with scope.The ship sabotage seen you got no grenades that really sucked big time, Im very dissapointed for the $50.00 bucks i spent on the game. I expected alot more out of the game. You got no medals or increase in rank in the game. While playing the rising sun game i also found it harder to see clearly in the jungle fights,they put too much junk in the jungle scenes. In the middle of playing the rising sun game i felt like taking it out and replay the frontline game instead even if i beat it already.Shooting Nazis were more fun and more of a challenge. That game was a real EA game to play and you can buy it for $19 bucks now. When you killed a jap you got the predictable reactions when shooting them. Wake up EA, Give us a game worthy for us to play. The Rising Sun was not worth the money that you ripped us all off for. I feel as a loyal EA game player that you owe us a free game which I know will never happen. Big upset. In the Philippine scenes they were poorly done, you saw no local village people the game, What about the battle of Corrigador, the Bataan death march? You guys missed alot i the Philippine scene of the game.

when i first started the game it rocked!! the Pearl harbor missions were really relistic. The jungle levels are good the weapons are good (the sten MK 2 and the thompson).The sound is good but those japs get REAL annoying after awhile.The online broad band and the multiplayer make up for the amount of levels. I dont understand how people complain about how easy it is when the can change the difficulty! the graphics are improved and i like how there are now cinamas. This game is great but i prefer the last MOH because the amount of levels in it. but other wise rising sun is dominate.
