they have buu in three forms majin buu,super buu,and kid buu. they have mystic gohan, goten and trunks. goten and trunks can fuse in to gotanks. goku and vegeta can fuse into vegito.they can go to all new super saiyan forms.I think goku can become a super saiyan 3 in this game.you can find the dragonballs easier than the first dragonballz budokai game.they have more beam attacks and their much more powerful then the first game's attacks.they don't have story mode but they have dragon mode and new backrounds. you can information for dragonballz budokai2 on dragonballz.com on the merchandise.

This Christmas i got one of the best fighting games of all time , you guessed it DBZ Budokai 2, the graphics are awesome even though they are cel-shaded, the fighting is simple but effective and there is a hell of a character selection for those who like to explore each characters different abilities like me, over all a fantastic game, the part which really showed off the game was when goten and trunks fuse together being one that just tipped the iceberg, also something which has surprised me is the lifespan of the game, unlike the first game Budokai 1 which was easy and was completed in a few days, this bueaty(however you spell it) lasts for a long time though i havent completed the game actually no where near, its almost impossible to say how long its goin to take put in mind that ive had a week now, as you people should know by now its cel-shaded which really puts it into its own world of the fighter category, The cel-shaded material really adds to the effect of you actually being in the cartoon itself which is cool.
A good game to play for anyone really, not jus for DBZ fans more for a wide range of gamers who like fighting games in general.
What I didnt like about the game was really the fact that there is a cheat for all capsules as i am not the cheating person, also the fact that you have to get 29 characters for advanced mode, ive only got bout 18 so i still have a bit to go but i love a challenge in a game, so thats probably why i love it.

I have beaten the game 11 times i have all the charicters and all the capsules heres a little helpful cheat i found worked
-free capsules, press triangle once then imediatly hold all the shoulder buttons until your out of the shop your capsule bar will slowley increase! its a kick but code. it helped me beat the game!It can also help you. you may contact me if you want to know anything about dragonball,dragonballz,or dragonballgt contact me < remove me > at gell_2_me< remove me > at yahoo.com. I personally have this game myself. This game has better graphics but doesnt focus to detail as much as the 1st budokai game. What it lacks in detail it makes up with the overall coolness of this game.I right now am trying to unlock the 2 false fusions Tiencha(Tien+Yamcha) and Gokule (Goku+Hercule) by getting their breakthroughs.Their is another rumored fusion you can only obtain with gameshark,(Gohan+ Goku)Gohanku.Also Gogeta can be unlocked with gameshark.I highly suggest anyone to go buy this game if you love dbz as much as me.The things that I hate about this game is that doesnt follow the story line that well in dragon world. Somethings I noticed were out of place.

THe gameplay is great it coordinates with the character.This game is manufactured by Atari but infogrames wasnt involved in this game.Unlike ultimate battle 22 this game has stellar sound and features actual voices from the show and it has catchy tunes to it. Its original since it focuses less on streetfighter like graphics.Its a valuable buy but once youve beaten it your bored and done with it.Its graphics are the everpopular cel graphics. The average time it takes to defeat dragon world is about 4hr 25mins.

This game is off the chain.When you first start the game,click on Dragonworld and while on the first part when the man is talking,press select and r1 and r2 to unlock teen gohan easily.
While in world tournament mode after you win the tournament.When the man says take your prize money,press R3 and L3 to get unlimted zenie.Oh yeah and press R3 and L3 repeatedly.To unlock ss4 for Trunks,Vegeta,and Goku go to badidis space ship and while badidi is talking saying how many people is going to play press square,then o repeatedly in that order.This is the best game and I just told you the best codes.

This has interesting multi-combo attacks and new techniques and transformations (YOU CAN EVEN DO FUSION IN BATTLE). I would give it's story mode a huge success because it shows things that weren't even thought of being put into the DBZ saga really. The dragon world (as it is now called) is one wacky adventure and you just don't know what you can find around every corner. Then yes there's just that part when BUU appears. The tournament modes also have it going good there's just one little difference. You have to unlock the tournament modes by getting characters. I can also agree that the burst mode's new effect gives it a huge outstanding in all of the rankings of dbz dbgt db games I've seen. I personally had to enjoy the SFX as well as graphics of the game but in a long run dragon world was more of a board game rpg to me. Still an interesting game so as of an overall it scores a 7 on my ratings.

man u should buy this cool game this one is even better then the last budokai game but the third dragon ball z game is probly gonna be even better then them all.It only took me four hours i still play it hours and hours i got every single thing on that game.I never had so much fun since i first got vice city and nba street 2. But i know for sure i'm going to get dragon ball z budokai 3 and i'm going try or not try i'm GOING to bet the game and get evry single thing on that dragon ball z budakai 3 just like i did on the dbz budokai 2 so i recomend u to get all the dragon ball z budokai games all of them r really really fun u'll probly have hours of fun just like i did so good bye ya'll

This game is awesome because you can be so many different characters and it has a good new dragon mode. I like how the dragon balls are a lot easier to get and there are more possibilities and you can become higher levels of super saiyans. I like how you can be Vegeta and Majin Vegeta. I also like the fact that you can be both Gotenks and Vegeto fusions. It's also awesome that you can be every form of buu. You can be Fat Buu, Super Buu, and Kid Buu, then, you can be gohan and gotenks absorbed. And there is one secret character that they are not telling people about. It's also cool how you can achieve a super saiyan 3. Well this game was awesome and i think that everyone who liked the first one should get this game.

I love the fact that most people on this forum complain about how bad DBZB2 is, "because the story mode doesn't follow the series." I REST MY CASE. We've already seen the series, so why base yet ANOTHER game on the series? The whole Idea is to give it a more warped and twisted.. yet, entertaining outlook and game-play. DBZB2 is my number 1 game of choice. Though I do agree on one thing... the Story mode could've been better, I don't like the whole 'Board-Game" concept, but I can tolerate it. It keeps me occupied. The graphics are untouchable.... it's as if you're controlling an actual cartoon! The Charactors are awesome.. though they could've added more, but they'll be more Budokai games to come, I'm sure of that. This game is thee best fighting game... thee best game in general. It's worth buying, it's worth having...... it's worth keeping 'til forever, LOL. It's one of those games you'd hang in a frame and lamenate. haha.
By the way... if anyone has a WORKING code for SS4 Goku/Trunks/Vageta/Gohan, etc. Or a code to be able to select Vegito as a character, rather than using him through Fusion.....Please e-mail it to me. Much appreciated.

I got it for Christmas, It's the best DBZ Game I played so far, I play with Dabura and Kid Buu. I have to try that SS4 Goku code (Just to see if it's real), Everyone I played against is no match for me, my favorite move is "Vanishing Ball",It gives the feeling like I'm doing the Spirit Bomb Attack. The game is cool, I have a big feeling that the next DBZ fighting game will be GT. I don't think the Vogeto code is real, I know the Vegeto code is, I have 98% of my capsule bar filled.
The SS4 code is probably a dud(fake) because Goku became SS4 in the GT Season, not in the Z.

there is nothign wrong with this game! it is the perfect dbz game , way better than ultimate battle 22, legacy of goke 1 & 2,dbz budokai and any others if i missed some. this game is actually really hard...and that's what i love about it! it's actualy hard and the attacks are really awsome, i love being super buu and absorbing ppl! and acually when u get the hang of the game(like me) u can do every attack that u have on it!! but here are SOME things that i don't like bout it : '1' the moves are too easy to do and then after the easy button the attack does too much! i don't get that..to much power for a simple move. '2' the dragon quest thingy is TOO easy! what's with that?! '3' why isn't all of frieza's forms in it and what about the ginyu force?! it ain't the ginyu force with only ginyu and recoome! '3' what about evil buu? u know the skinny buu?? '4' and what about uub?!?!?! he should be in there too. well..all in all this game really kicks ass...i hope there's a dbz budokai 3! and 4 and ect. and make them super hard!!!!!

I have been playing this game for a month and I have oready completed it.I liked the game it is defanantly better than the first game.Here is a cheat go to the edit skills and go to the shop,then hold l2 and enter the shop,Bulma will talk but ignore her and don't buy anything keep hold of l2 and leave the shop,keep doing this and it will unlock everything and it should make your percentage bar go up.Anyway if you are having problems you should keep trying and eventually crack it and complete the game.It really is worth it there are alot of good moves like fusion.Plus if you ativate the fusion skill with Yamcha or Tien you will see 2 men dance and become Tiencha.Oh well I hope I hellped u f#**#ers.Just remember to have fun and don't get frustrated it is just a game after all.

I liked the first Budakai game, but there were a lot of things wrong with it. Say you were both in the air, and you deliver the final blow on the opponent. He'll fall over, but he'll still be in the air! In Budakai 2, they fixed this, and other errors that I've noticed. Plus the characters look better than they did in the last one.
I thought the board game concept was a good idea, but I would've done it much differently. The thing I don't like, as minor as it may sound, is that in the board game, Goku is in full 3D, and everyone else is some dopy looking 2D game piece! And though it's a lot more polished, there's still room for improvement.
In conclusion? DBZ Budakai 2 is a good game. It's no Mortal Kombat Deadly Alliance or Soul Calliber, but it's good enough to get an 8 out of 10.

For all you dragon ballz show lovers this is the perfect game for you. But if you like to fight not the story mode try this cheat. Enter bulmas skill shop repetedly while holding inthe l2 button and exit really quick your skill percentage will go up when you have reached 99% buy a skill and exit. this unlocks all skills. To pick your own skills for your character go to edit skills press x a screen will go up toggle left or right to see diffrent skills. Then exit to duel then pick custom. to use your skills that you picked. The skills you picked while also be on the story mode. Thats all have fun.

I think budikai2 is cool. I agree that Cell and freiza keep coming back alive is anoying man.they should still stick to the show like babbidi didnt brieng them back to life he doesnt even no the guys. It is the best game I've ever played.It has great graphics.I can do everything but one thing.I don't know how to use fusion or pontara earrings outside of dragon world.If you know how to use it email me at jimT678.If you want cheats for this and many other games go to cheatplanet.com its got all the latest cheats and stadegies.It tells you how to get charecters and other unlockables.It took out the stinky people and put in the new ones.If you want teen gohan and videl listen carefully for teen gohan you have to beat cell on the last level wher you beat kid buu. you have to beat cell with adult gohan.To get videl you have to beat super buu(with gohan absorbed) with hercule.Just incase your wondering once you get all 29 charecters you will get advanced mode for tournament mode.To get Free capsules with a memory card go to the capsul buying place and hold L1+l2 and leave repeat the process for more stuff.so If you havent played this game ther are some cheats.In dragon world you will fight kid buu last here is my hint. use something like sensu bean for your skill list so when you die you will have full life and full ki.That way you can have a benafit.i LIKED THIS GAME BECAUSE IT ROCKED.

Everything is great besides dragon mode. I mean everything. The graphics, moves, combos, watever its all good. Now dragon mode, I don't know what they were thinking. That is the most boring waste of time i've ever been through, not to mention it IS hard. No movies, or anything, just this game based chutes and ladders type thing where you fight. REALLY kind of corny. Well that's just my opinion as well as many others. I'm sure some do like it, afterall it is different. Otherwise, the game's all good. Really fun, its worth the buy, especially if your a dbz fan!

the game is very awsome in vs u can do fusions turn super saiyan 2 and super saiyan 3 the vs mode is awsome and the graphics are ok except the faces they need a little more work on the faces and the story the story mode sucks cuz its like a board game the budokai 1 story was better the budokai 2 story sucks ass everything else is good but they should have all the characters but its good that they threw out zarbon and dadoria cuz they suck but i hpe theres ganna be a dragonball gt 3 or something
