yea...i agree with everyone that this was a kick ass game...the graphics( in my opinion) were awsome...the practice mode, babadi's spaceship, world tournament, and dueling...they were great! even the characters were great! I love gotenks and gocule! they were so freakin awsome ( all though no one can beat me when it comes to piccolo hehe). the only thing that was an EXTREMELY DISAPOINTING aspect of the game was the dragon mode. IT sucked!!!!! this game could have been ALOT better if it was in the 1st dbz budokai. I just didnt feel like it gave a personal connection with the real show. and the appearance of freiza and cell continously was annoying to me. but overall. it was a good game..i give it an 8 out of 10. i hope u all enjoy this game as much as i do. o yea...DBZ IS THE BEST SHOW ANIME EVER CREATED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I loved the game. Sure it had some problems but what game doesn't. I loved the fusions. My favorite fusion has to be Gokule. Majin buus absorptions kicked ass. I also liked ginyu's body change. My favorite charecter has to be Vegito. I love his spirit sword. It was better than the first but I wish they kept the story line. My only question is weres uub. Id love to see his moves. Oh well I guess im going to have to wait until Budokai 3 comes out. You can probably bet that I'm playing this game as you read this.

The look of this game is absolutly amaizing. The voice-overs are impecable and I really enjoy how fast the game is. There are things however that need to be improved on. For one, the computer is a bit cheap. It knows when you are going to pull off some moves. If you jump back it will do a blast atack before you actually start to jump back or when you dash in and attack the computer attacks first. This doesn't happen always but it does happen most of the time. It is difficult to be as quick as the computer. Often when moves or movement is supposed to be happening it doesn't. For example: When one dashes and stops just before the opponent there is a delay before you are able to attack again. Samething happens when punching and then wanting to jump back. These delays are not fun and shouldn't be happening. I hope these "glitches" are fixed in the next game.

I loved this game from the first time I played it to the last character I got.. I will always love this game. My personal favorite is Dabura because of the HELL BLADE RUSH! You can get Dabura by unlcoking babadi spaceship (which you can wish for at the end of dragonworld) and earning 100 kili. You can also get Majin Buu, Super Buu, Kid Buu(cheap ass lil bastard) in babadi's spaceship. Everyone else you unlock in dragon world. Raditz-Beat Raditz with Goku. Nappa-Beat Nappa with vegeta. Vegeta-beat vegeta with goku on namek. Ginyu-Beat Ginyu on namek with vegeta. Reecome-Beat Reccome with Goku. Frieza-Beat Frieza with Goku. Cell-Beat Cell With Goku. Andriod 16, 17, 18, 20- Beat 16 and 20 with Goku, Beat 18 with Krillin, Beat 17 with Piccolo.Gt. Sayiaman- Beat Majin Buu with Gohan..I think. hercule- Beat Majin Buu with Gt. Sayiaman. Videl (yes Videl)- Beat Super Buu with Gohan absorbed with hercule (lose one match to super buu with gohan on satge 8 and he will absorb him.) Teen Gohan- Beat Cell on last stage with Gohan. There isnt much to say Veggeto is cool too Im a major dbz fan I have 4 action figures a goku a vegeta a gohan and a collecters huge brolly if you have the brolly movie it will show him in the advertising things I have 3 of the movies DBZ rocks im its biggest fan Hercule is funny with his present for you I dont know if he has it in budokai 2 though and go kid buu your my 3rd favorite guy in DBZ first Brolly Then 2nd Gogeta 3rd Kid buu! The only thing wrong is what the heck item is used to unlock buu!

The game is fantastic it is one of the best games i have ever played on the only bad thing is when you get kobitoshin you cant actually be kabito kai but never mind the z makers have cracked it the game is an all round winner it is far better than the first budokai and all of the other dragonballz games out and super spirit bomb ia absolutley fantastic dont you think my personal favorite though is....final explosion even thouh you kill yourself my favorite charicter is also vegta he is so cool you have to agree with me here it is the best z game ever made

Down Below our favorite pedifile MJ is saying that this is one of the worst games ever. It's not all that bad. The story is creative but boring. No Really interseting story points and it's like a board game, lame. The fusions are CREATIVE, and fun to use for a DBZ fan. Tournament mode can be fun if it wasn't so short. You can win in literally 8 seconds (Idid it against Krillin) You create your own skill list for characters which is cool and fun to do sometimes. But the game IS worth renting atleast once, don't take the word from Michael below me, he can't even talk right when he's typing (c'mon now) This game can be fun sometimes, especially when playing against a friend. Try it once, it's worth one shot at it, but buying it would not be my advise.

first,they quit the cool story mode,that follows all the dbz anime(ANIME,not cartoon,dbz is from japan,not from america),and the new dragon world "quest",sucks a lot,you figth with the same stupid enemies all the time.
second,the characters,man,all the caracters are sample copies of the others,and only the saiyans can be really good characters.
third,majin buu looks really awful,thats not the real pink color of buu,and that absortion that all says that is very cool,is a real %< remove me > at %Ą$#.You can absorb only a little number of characters.laazy people of atari.

Ok this game is amazing, although it does have flaws. I was really disappointed when I found out story mode had been removed. They replaced it with Dragon Mode which is kind of cool but, it has plot mistakes, and if your a big DBZ fan (like myself) this will bother you. The gameplay however, is much better that the original and the cel shading was a great idea. They made many more move capsules and support capsules. The other thing I enjoyed about this game was you don't have to charge to become a super saiyan. In the last game, as Goku, you need 5 ki gauges to become super saiyan (which in my opinion was ridiculess). Another great new feature to this game is that your opponent can resist your devistating ki attacks (such as Super Spirit Bomb), this provide for much more excitement when playing with friends. This game is in my opinion better than the first because it contains more, character, capsules, better gameplay, better graphics. For gameplay I rate it a 9 for graphics a 10 and for plot a 6. If you don't already own a copy I strongly advise buying one, you will not even notice the plot flaws unless your a BIG fan. OVERALL 9 (Now go BUY IT!)

The begaining of dragon world starts with nappa and raditz landing on earth, but any true DBZ fan would no the raditz came alone, followed 1 year later by nappa and vegeta. They also had freeza pay a visit to earth, and that wasn't suppost to happen untill the andiod saga after namik. Forget about the cell saga or cell games, instead you get a retarded board chase after cell. Plus several of the orginal stages were cut out that were in the buu saga like kami's look out. And has anyone but me noticed that when you use a gaint attack like the super spirit bomb or super kamahamaha that there is no crater or even a small scratch on the ground? I think the only few good things they did with this game was add more characters and made all the characters more custamizable. Not to mention you can now duel using to commputer controlled custonized characters. I do think the game is worth buying if you a

the game is very awsome in vs u can do fusions turn super saiyan 2 and super saiyan 3 the vs mode is awsome and the graphics are ok except the faces they need a little more work on the faces and the story the story mode sucks cuz its like a board game the budokai 1 story was better the budokai 2 story sucks ass everything else is good but they should have all the characters but its good that they threw out zarbon and dadoria cuz they suck but i hpe theres ganna be a dragonball gt 3 or something

This has interesting multi-combo attacks and new techniques and transformations (YOU CAN EVEN DO FUSION IN BATTLE). I would give it's story mode a huge success because it shows things that weren't even thought of being put into the DBZ saga really. The dragon world (as it is now called) is one wacky adventure and you just don't know what you can find around every corner. Then yes there's just that part when BUU appears. The tournament modes also have it going good there's just one little difference. You have to unlock the tournament modes by getting characters. I can also agree that the burst mode's new effect gives it a huge outstanding in all of the rankings of dbz dbgt db games I've seen. I personally had to enjoy the SFX as well as graphics of the game but in a long run dragon world was more of a board game rpg to me. Still an interesting game so as of an overall it scores a 7 on my ratings.

hey ppl this game is like the best game ive played since the first budokai although i cant frikkin beat kid buu he just keeps kicking my butt so ill need help with that if any one knows how to beat him email me. if any one thinks this game sux they are trippin. the graphics are great!!! my favorite characters are vegetto and gotenks.every thing is great about this game and i think that if any one doesnt have it they should get it.the first time i saw the game box i started to slobber and i played like all day and night the only thing that sucks is that the PS2 is that it doesnt come with a memory card and my step dad wont get me one so my friend is going to send me one and my mom doesnt like memory cards, i dont know why.if you get this game youre parents might see the sideaffects, they are: making your lil sis or bro to get your drinks, refusing to eat for 2 days and accesive slobbering. well gotta scram... get tha goddamn game if you dont have it.

I think budokai 2 has out done the first one in a lot of ways. I am a big DBZ fan so when they came out with the first budokai I had high hopes for the game. I got the first one on Xmas and I played it to the end which I was happy and sad with because I beat it all in the same day. It left me wanting more so when budokai 2 came out I decide I was going to take my time but with out a story mode it left looking for more. The dragon world mode is different. It has some up sides like collecting dragon balls and move from fight to fight quicker but fight last to long. Energy bust are cool but transformation should last longer and do more damage. The only time fight show a differenace in power is when they are fused and that is only in the dragon world mode. The same problem in budokai 1 is still in 2 is how they over load the characters to many transformations. Like for example goku, first you have Kaiki x20 then SS1 then SS2 then SS3 by the time it take you to get that far transformation only last a sec before going back to normal. If your a good player you can stay powered up but it take to much work and the power is not there even if you get SS3.
Over all it's the best DBZ game so far but why shouldn't be it's been along time sense they had a DBZ game Budokai one was great bacause it was new Budokai 2 is a better version of Budokai one.
I look foward to the next one hoppfully it will have SS4 Goku and Vegeta.
I think it would be even better if they would and in characters from the Dragon BallZ movies like Bardock and a transformation in to a Giant Ape.
I will end with this The game is great but how do you use those dam green capsules

OK OK its an awesome Dbz game for multiplayer but what the heck is with the story mode, God it crap to think that you have to complete story mode everytime to get a dragonball,MAN i tell ya its a pain (but if you want to avoide that just press the L&R buttons at the same time when leaving Bulmas shop)but that abit dodgy but if ya want to get every capsule fast its the way to go.
FUSIONS=interesting and very funny, you gotta see Gokule (Goku fused with Hercule.The finishing moves in this DBZ are outstanding totally awesome with the graphics provided, they really have a umph! to them like kid buu's warp and Vegeta's Big Bang Attack.Alot of the hand to hand combat is similar to No1 but in some charactors there are much longer combos.Overall its a treat to any DBZ fan.

this game is way better than the first game. it has way better characters,moves,graphics everything about this game is better than the firt budokai.also the story mode is way cool!!i also think it's cool that you can summon shenron the eternal dragon and he can grant you one of three or more wishes.you can also have up to eight players in the world tournament.i think its awsome you can do fusion.i also like the breakthrough capsules that you can get from shenron the eternal dragon. its got tons of characters that you can unlock and you can unlock a special mode called babidies space ship.

i am one of the huge dbz fans, ive been waiting for dbz games to come to america, then came battle22- ehh, not so great, but ok, then budokai, ok- good but i want more, budokai 2 - GREAT, simply great, on everything, except the fact that the story play was changed to a board game (thumbs down), i dont know why they did it, mabe they were lazy, or had to save disk space.
but anyhow, i love the fusions, gokule, vegetto, gotenks, tiencha, lol, gokule is one of the *UGLY* characters in the game, he has missing hair, 3 eyes, and does this kick ass move named, something something volleyball.
vegetto, is just like in the saga, originally at ssj2, and you stay there, but instead of having ki, you have time, which has its disadvantages, and advantages, like infinate ki, but that counter acts, with time, once your time runs out, and you get knocked out to the ground for a second you cahnge back to the character to started fusion with, and you have 0 ki. bah, whatever still good though. they included everything big that happened in the buu saga, very greatly. they didnt have the story line correctly right though, you never fought 19, nor, did goku have that viral attack, and trunks didnt get unlocked as soon as you head into the android saga. Few errors, and Goku is the only character that has legs, lol. The rest are game pieces. Oh, well the game is spectacular, it'll keep you busy day after day and is fun to learn. IT IS* Absolutely worth the money.
