Hell good graphics probably the best game I got besides Vice City but anyway I've finished the game a hundred percent and it was fun now i play it for fun like using all these really cool attacks and hercules pretty funny. Anyway it's a good game with out a doubt so i highly reccomend u to buy it. So go now and by it. Only 89.95. It's the sickest game i've played so far and I wander how budakai 3 is gonna be cause budakai to is definately outstanding. It's probably better in my oppinion then any game u got. It's got virtually every Character except Jase, Guldo and Burter which is pretty bad but even without em doesn't make much of a difference.The voices sound like the actuall episodes and so r the graphics they r just like the episodes as well.

this game has some really cool characters and it has new features like dragon mode, where you get the dragonballs as different characters. You can fuse, Goku and Hercule, Goku and Vegeta-Vegeto-trunks and goten, and new levels capsules and higher leveled super saiyans. unknown characters, some haven't even been found yet. There isn't a story mode but at least the dragonballs will be easier to get. You get different backrounds. you can have people like majin vegeta, all forms of buu, supreme kai, videl, adult gohan, without the saiyaman suit, goten and trunks, you will not be able to play as dodoria, zarbon, or kid gohan. Well, if you like dragon ballz or you liked the first one you will love this one. You can also use data from the first one to the second. This game rules.

This game is # 1 for all of you DBZ fans out there. this game not only includes 12 new characters, it has two more differnt modes and is much more xhalllenging then the last time. Make sure that when this game comes out in december, to run out and get this game quick! this game will definetly excit you!

dbzb2 was the best game ever if u r a dbz fan u should get it but there is some improvements needed the game should be a bit harder thats all that needs improving the good things are the graphichs they make u feel like u r there the controls are very easy and the sound is ok becauce some caricters dont sound the real people but at least its in englesh the gameplay is the best because u can fuse turn ssj 3 u even get to play up to the kid bu saga now thats class and u move around the grid and u can serch for money and there are loads of caricters to un lock.dbgtb is coming out some time and i cant wait i also have a cheat for u witch will help when u select capsels u should hold down l2 as u select it (sorry this is a cheat for ps2)i hope this has helped u to choose to buy the game.

This is definately a different and unique DBZ game! Unlike Budokai 1 which gives you a synopsis of the Dragonball Z series, Budokai 2 puts the player right into the storyline in an alternate world settings while staying close to the original story. Adding Cell and Frieza into the Majin/Super/Kid Buu story is also a nice touch (Majin Cell and Majin Frieza, can you imagine?). You have some of the old baddies back like Raditz, Andriod 17, Racoom, etc. with the same playability as in Budokai 1, though it would have been interesting if you could play other characters such as the remaining members of the Ginyu Force, Cooler, or Andriods 13, 14 and 15 (now that's dreamin'!).
All and All, Dragonball Z: Budokai 2 is a sheer delight for any DBZ fan and you'll find it hard to put down the controller once you get your mits on it. My advice, start playing at the beginning of the weekend...you'll need it.

you gotta love this game pik up and play thinking its a wierd fighting game with beams, kamehameha wat this is crap try a few punches energy you use a spirit bomb which looks like the biggest thing ever after you talk while flying in the air in this movie you just triggered and blow your opponet across the pacific and chase after them and find them devastated. Your hooked even if u hate Dragonball Z (i will hunt u down unless you luv this game dbz haters)and when u do fusion with gotenks and turn him super sayain 3 luvers will think the game has totally captured the series and made it better thinking its the best fighting game ever other will donfusion super sayain 3 gotenks and think its way ahead on the other beat em ups and thinks its the best this game cannot get better except 4 dragon world it shud b story mode all sagas and wen u complete it play any level any character.

Dis game is da best eva, everythang is sweet i love da fusions, SSJ3 Goku and Gotenks, da better lookin moves,and when u go SSJ2 or 3 or u r super powered up there is lightning in da arua or around u, and Majin Vegeta. And its sweet how if someone is doin a super move on u u can rotate the analog stick and if u win da damaged is reduced. Dis game is by far way better than da first one in every way. SSJ3 Goku and Vegetto r my favorite charicters they kicks ass. I cant wait for Dragonball GT Budokai to come out SSJ4, the evil dragons, and Baby dat game is really gonna kickass well see ya until da next Budokai game gotta run. P.S. try da Father Son Ka-ME-Ha-ME-Ha that teen gohan uses its off da hook and Vegetas Big Bang. So buy dat game and check out all da sweet an improved moves so see ya lata.

hey ppl this game is like the best game ive played since the first budokai although i cant frikkin beat kid buu he just keeps kicking my butt so ill need help with that if any one knows how to beat him email me. if any one thinks this game sux they are trippin. the graphics are great!!! my favorite characters are vegetto and gotenks.every thing is great about this game and i think that if any one doesnt have it they should get it.the first time i saw the game box i started to slobber and i played like all day and night the only thing that sucks is that the PS2 is that it doesnt come with a memory card and my step dad wont get me one so my friend is going to send me one and my mom doesnt like memory cards, i dont know why.if you get this game youre parents might see the sideaffects, they are: making your lil sis or bro to get your drinks, refusing to eat for 2 days and accesive slobbering. well gotta scram... get tha goddamn game if you dont have it.

this game is the best because they made the most moves that r just like the peoples moves like super goast kamakazi atack.this time the game has so many different caritors i wish they did babidy dough. they bring in fusions 2 like gokule,vegito,gotenks,kabitoshin and teancha. my favorate is teancha and his wolf fang vollie ball fist atack.on budokai 1 the xtra thins was mr satan thing but this time it is babidis space ship where u can unlock bu,super bu,kid bu and dabura.and now goku can go super saijan 3! in the shop bulma is in 7 differnt costumes. when the loadin skreen comes up by swirling the analog stik around quickly u can make master rasi go up and down an left and right.the graphics r great 4 all the differnt moves on some u have 2 power up 2 do.

the game starts out like a board game i was confused at first but then i started to like it i think it is cool because you get to get dragonballs easyer then the first one dragonball game and also cell and frieza come back and under contral by babaty i dont know were that came from but it was tight to see that M sign on there heads and you need to go back to get more characters in the game witch was alright with me because i like the game but you should rent it first because some people hate the game like my brother because he,s an xbox fan and its so cool because when you are practicing picalo talks to you and tells you alot about blocking and when you go to cpm vrs plyr1 if your goku and turn into ss3 when your power is down all you need to do is press select that is so coool.

the strategy guide dosnt have.any new combos. it has movements
that could be found in the game.all you have to do.is open
up the strategy screen.ive seen combos up to 10 movements.the book didnt show.the thing i liked about it was the dvd.did you know the point of a strategy guide. is to find combos and how to brake from some moves.i dont want a knock off.of something found in the game. the dbz strategy guide.shows turtles in a realy tiny section.it shows a histery of the games.then it shows all the supermoves you could do.by opening the move list.and a list of capsulse.where are the combos.how you brake from a throw.how to stand up qickly.befor you land after a serious combo.and the ki they need to get to the next level.

The fighting system itself has not changed much at all, but the ultimate attacks have been tweeked somewhat. Some characters like yamucha and mirai trunks have been given new ultimate attacks, which look simply amazing. The character models are animated beautifully, and look awesome in motion. The roster of characters is more plentiful this time around. With the abcense of story mode, the new single player mode called "Dragon Mode" is completely original; but no where near as entertaining as watching the events of Akira Toriyama's great anime acted out with cg models. It has more staying power than the previous title, and Dragon Mode will take several tries to unlock everything. The death glitch, when you float in mid air after a tragic defeat(mmm...too wordy)has been fixed. Some problems remain, such as cells voice(it stays imperfect)and for some . The new fusions, which include vegitto, gotenks, kibito kai, gokule, and tiencha(he's new)are wonderful additions. Buu appears in all of his forms including his absorptions, and some which do not occur in the anime. Even without story mode this title surpasses the first in several ways, and will attract any hardcore dragon ball z fan. My only problem with this game is that it's fighting system is too symplistic. While it may not be deep enough to satisfy fighting game affictionados or hold it's own against Soul Calibur 2, it is still better than Final Bout(psx).

There are but four words to describe this game: The Best Fighting Game Ever! YEAH! This game is so awsome it's off the charts! I love the new and improved graphics of the game! And how they added the Buu saga, is priceless! I love the Fat Buu (favorite character), and how he has a wide range of moves. I alos love "Dragon World" where you unlock the items, I think that's a great way to play out the storyline! And the beginning sequence still blows me away! The music is much better and there is an even wider range of characters! This game is definatly worth every cent you pay for it, and it doesn't get boring even after you beat it! I can play for hours and never get tired, and, with friends, it makes it all that more fun! I give this game 11 stars, I would have given it 12 but.... one it's not really an option and two... I'd really like it to have more than two people play at once. Again I could write more, but that would be another waste of time. In closing, everything has improved so get out and buy this game!

this game is way better than the first game. it has way better characters,moves,graphics everything about this game is better than the firt budokai.also the story mode is way cool!!i also think it's cool that you can summon shenron the eternal dragon and he can grant you one of three or more wishes.you can also have up to eight players in the world tournament.i think its awsome you can do fusion.i also like the breakthrough capsules that you can get from shenron the eternal dragon. its got tons of characters that you can unlock and you can unlock a special mode called babidies space ship.

This game is good but I still enjoyed the ones on the snes I mean its 2004 and I got this game and it only has ppl up to the majin buu saga?? The games from 10 years ago on the snes had newer characters than this game does ........the graphics are really nice looking , as for the gameplay I wish they would have went more with street fighter style movements as opposed to push a button 4 times and then push another button once to do a move.........there is alot of button mashin in this game even if you do know how to do the moves.......its basically the first budokai game with prettier graphics and some more characters......still no muten roshi, bebi vegeta,gogeta,ss4 goku,or brolly......if you want graphics get this game.........if you want gameplay and all the cool characters who are not in budokai2 get the snes or genesis games. Come on now ppl its been almost 20 years can we get a game with all the characters plssss??? Oh and dont forget janemba....

This game blew me away the first time i played it. Sence i love transforming, the ssj3 was so awesome. The fusion was amazing But I dont like the dragon world mode though. That's the reason i gave it a 9. But it doesnt really bother me though. Well back to the game. The graphics are superb, and the cell shaded it awesome as well. I love the new way they do the beam attacks. Instead of a big ball coming at you, you have a stream of energy bursting at you. And you can also dodge it, But i'm having some difficulty finding the ssj3 for goku. i cant find it. If someone can give me some tips i would uppriciate it. My favorite character is goku of course, Because he can go kaokien x20,super sayian,super sayian 2 and super sayian 3. I love when you go super sayian 2, you can see streaks of energy. And when he goes super sayian 3, he has real long hair and streaks of energy. I hope you liked my review of the most awesome game out there.

When I first heard of this game being in developement I was finishing the first Budokai. I thought the first one was awesome and that cell-shading would look horrible on the second one that was coming out. When I played Budokai2 I found out that cell-shading makes it look a lot more like the show than the first Budokai (Unless you have the gamecube edition of the 1st Budokai). By far the gameplay is almost identical to the 1st but is a little more advanced in the fact that you get to power up death moves. I was happy that in this version of Budokai you actually get all their super saijin forms and if you're someone like cell and freeza you start off in your final forms. I was also happy that got rid of the annoying way of finding dragonballs where you would waste hours of time in popo's shop trying to find them. In this game you can get 25 characters, which I was kindof dissapointed in. I wanted to be able to play jeice and the other ginyu force members that you couldn't play in Budokai1. I mainly bought this game for the dueling for when I get together with my friends and vs. against them. This game also has some downfalls. Like stated in other reviews on this site, its kind of corny when babidi summons cell and freeza to fight you in the buu saga. The dragonworld is kindof lame because you travel on a map to get to your enemies and it makes corny sounds when you're moving around. It would also be better if it had the storymode like in the first game. In-game music is a little bit better but the menu music is still corny like in the first Budokai. Overall, this game is pretty cool if you're buying it for dueling and for the new features like transformations, fusions, levels, and characters. Honestly, I suggest playing the first Budokai before buying this game because the first one has the storymode and if you have beaten the first Budokai then you can transfer some stuff into Budokai2. Also if you are going to buy the 1st Budokai, check out the gamecube edition because it's like the one on ps2 except it has cell-shading graphics.

Well good game. So much beta than the first one, now u can use death moves witout the hassle of using button combinations. The graphics seem wierd at first but you will easily get used to it. You will find it to ure liking, and find its very much beta than the 3d effects of the first one. Impressive... but any cheats out there?????

YO dis game is tight.the first dragonballz budokai was kinda cheesey and way 2 easy to get skillz however this game gots a new storymode- boardgame and its graphics are the shizzznit and the new roster is sweet, u get buu fusions and some hidden fusion characters and the brand new babadis spaceship is awesome too. this game makes the first budokai look like an ant 2 a giant. plus vegito is bad< remove me > at $$. sad they dont got the final-kamehahaha. the only bad thing in this game however is that in dragonworld u can barely do anything without having to kill the main guy and then u cant get what u need.but this is about the only bad thing. other than that the only other thing thats hard is the combination to do the fusion move its like u can never get to the kke. you should be able to finsh the dragonworld in about a couple hours or less, its pretty ez just make sure you get the dragonball each time (need those breakthrough caps right) but this game is about the best game ive ever played of dragonballz. i think this game can without a doubt be the best fighting game to came to the playstation game. You should without a doubt get this game or if u got all i know is keep gaming cause gotta ketchum all, capsules that is ;)
