this game is so cool i played rof 5 minutes and i was addicted to it the graphics rock the gameplay is just bad a< remove me > at # but the story is a lot different but i give this game full marks. because i am a huge dbz fan i love everything there is to do with dragonballz. but anyways i really like the graphics in this game it looks exactly like the show i recommend this game to everyone but i have just one question how the heck do you get all the characters im just wonderin anywayz i would like to know if there will be a budokai 3

the graphics r amazing. i never played the first budokai, but i really enjoy this game. havent finished it yet, but im working on that. the story is different from the series as uv all noticed, but i like it. its origianl, and japanese stories often variate from their originals. take the dbz movies as an example. the game plays similar 2 a board game, which rarely works, but with the fighting parts in the game, this is a minor complaint. the controls r easy 2 get used 2. if any1 played "final bout" for the playstation, ull remember how difficult the combos were 2 get used 2. and most combos work the same ways on the pad, but variate 4 each character in the game. the normal rules of dbz alter 4 this, but again, this is a normal variation from the origianls in true japanese style. overall, the game rules, and i cud sit and play it 4 literally hours on end.

This game is awesome. I miss the story mode but dragonworld kept me busy longer. The graphics are awesome. It actually feels like the show. The atacks are also more explosive.A Kamehameha actually looks like a beam and it doesn't just hit u and u fall down, it is actually realistic to the show and blows up on u. there are some minor problems though. cells voice is always the same (sounds kinda wierd)and they took out android 16,zarbon and dodoria. But i didn't really care about that anyways.Anyone with a ps2 should get this game and if u got a cube, it comes out in the summer of 2004. 2 words, GET IT!

This game is pretty good. I think the graphics could have been a little better. Kind of like the first DBZ. Gameplay is cool but the story line just repeats DBZ Budokai 1 until Buu comes along. They could of put some story movies in it like the first one. It's cool though because you can be super saiyan 3 and fuse and everything like that. I still haven't got Buu yet. I look forward to getting him. I think the game could have had a longer journey to it. A journey following the cartoon more step by step. The game could have had more upgraded details such as characters like Krillin to have hair now. The more detailed and more animation in a game I think is the best ever. There's nothing like a graphic filled action game. Overall though it's a fun game.

this game is the stuff!!! the graphics are alittle wack but o well. i have all the characters but one i think? i heard rumurs of the super sayin 4 goku? if there is dose anybody know how to get him? i heard u have to beat world tornamen in advanced mode with everybody i did and nothing happend. then i tried with the dragonball thingy, man i must of beat drogon world at least a hundred times.this is getting me agrivated errrrrrrrrrrr.im playin it right now im in dragon world again! seeing if ss4 really work or not. I HOpE SO! if anyone knows how to get ss4 plz post it here i cant give u an email adress cause its my moms but o well.

I think budokai 2 has out done the first one in a lot of ways. I am a big DBZ fan so when they came out with the first budokai I had high hopes for the game. I got the first one on Xmas and I played it to the end which I was happy and sad with because I beat it all in the same day. It left me wanting more so when budokai 2 came out I decide I was going to take my time but with out a story mode it left looking for more. The dragon world mode is different. It has some up sides like collecting dragon balls and move from fight to fight quicker but fight last to long. Energy bust are cool but transformation should last longer and do more damage. The only time fight show a differenace in power is when they are fused and that is only in the dragon world mode. The same problem in budokai 1 is still in 2 is how they over load the characters to many transformations. Like for example goku, first you have Kaiki x20 then SS1 then SS2 then SS3 by the time it take you to get that far transformation only last a sec before going back to normal. If your a good player you can stay powered up but it take to much work and the power is not there even if you get SS3.
Over all it's the best DBZ game so far but why shouldn't be it's been along time sense they had a DBZ game Budokai one was great bacause it was new Budokai 2 is a better version of Budokai one.
I look foward to the next one hoppfully it will have SS4 Goku and Vegeta.
I think it would be even better if they would and in characters from the Dragon BallZ movies like Bardock and a transformation in to a Giant Ape.
I will end with this The game is great but how do you use those dam green capsules

I really enjoyed this game, the graphics, the fights, almost everything.I would say it's 10 times better than the first one. My only problem is that Dragon World is kind of borring cause you have to face cell and frieza so many times.Instead of having to fight the same guys all over we should have been able to fight all the mean guys like in the original series. This would have made a lot better.Also where are all the dragon balls? Are they hidden somewhere? I still have trouble unlocking all the characters. I finished the story mode so many times but I can't get them. I'm getting a little bit tired of trying it all the time.who should be used to unlock Videl and Super Buu? I'm really have hard time with these two characters. I hope somebody will give me a hand.Holla at me at oaj08< remove me > at yahoo.fr

I like this game a lot.That is why I gave it ten on the rating scale.When I saw this game on a comercial I really wanted it,but it looked like the graphics didn't look so good.I was totally wrong.The graphics were awesome.It is better than the first one because you acually can load up ki in some techniguis.Sorry if I didn't smell that right.Those are all reasons why I like it.By the way if anyone knows how to get dragonballs e-mail me.What I mean is in story mode you know how the dragon radar says you are right on top of a dragonball,but you don't see one or something like that.Hopefully you understand what I mean and I hope you do,so you can e-mail me.Please do if you know how to get the dragonballs on levels in the story mode.I really want to collect all the dragonballs,so I can wish for the legendary super saiyan.Well I heard from a freind that is one of the things you can wish for after collecting all the dragonballs and completing the game.Well that is all I guess I want to say,so please e-mail me if you have my answer.For now i guess goodbye.

I got the game and it rocks graphics are awsome combos are cool in the old one when you do a combo move you cant move and your enemy blast you or something and all you can do is wach now the new well you can dogde the attack or protect your protect your self well some times it just matters and if you get super buu you can get absourphtion and absourph ummmmmmmm lets say frieza and then when you absourph him you get all his moves and you get stronger and your look changes it's pretty funny and cool but still its mainly the best dbz game their is so if you get get the game if you'r woundering how to get absourphtion beat babadia's space ship get 10000 killi it takes a long time so be patientto beat this kick ass game

this game is very cool plus the charcters are amazing, it has to be the best fighting game i have played it has new features like dragon mode and new levels of supersaiyans with unkown charcters they have taken out dadoria,zarbon and kidgohan but they know have fusion where you can fuse vageta and goku:vageto goku and hercule:gocule goten and trunks:gotenks it realy is the gem in your dragonballz collection it even has majinbuu,superbuu,kidbuu,goten,trunks,dadoria,age19gohan and much more and if you have played the first one you will wiz threw budokai2,ITS DEFFINTELY THE BEST.

I loved the game. Sure it had some problems but what game doesn't. I loved the fusions. My favorite fusion has to be Gokule. Majin buus absorptions kicked ass. I also liked ginyu's body change. My favorite charecter has to be Vegito. I love his spirit sword. It was better than the first but I wish they kept the story line. My only question is weres uub. Id love to see his moves. Oh well I guess im going to have to wait until Budokai 3 comes out. You can probably bet that I'm playing this game as you read this.

make a thing so you can make your own person(a Charater).
put back the old Story mode from Budukai(1).Thats it please listen then it will be the best game ever but you guys on the right track.And it was so so so really better than Budukai (1).execpt for the story mode you should know that.
PS.oh yeah i forgot get more charaters and more fusions.Although you already have great ones.And wahat i also liked was the Badids Space ship

This game wasn't the greatest but it was pretty cool.It's very out of tune though. I mean how are they gonna allow u to go Super SAiyan 3 in the first board if u have the skill.And how do Frieza and cell keep coming back to life.THe grphics are cool though and its still better than the first one.the thing i like the most is the fusions especially Veggito.I dont like the fact u have to get the dragon balls in dragonworld though Iliked it how u could by the dragonballs on the first one.the thing is I really want to view all the capsules i can get in Dragon mode and how to get them.And i already know about the cheat u can do in the shop so dont give me that.Please help me my Email address is KAN1242< remove me > at aol.com

this is the best budokai game ever.the graphics are cool and the dragonworld is awsome.the new fusions are awsome with gotenks,vegeto,and gokule are awsome.if you have a good television this game is awsome with the sound effects.buu is totally hard to beat and the new ki waves are awsome.if your a dbz fan this game is for you.the fighting graphics are awsome epecially with the cell shaded characters beware of the fusion technique.if you get it wrong with gotenks u wiil have unexpected results.the fusion of goku and hercule is cool but rediculous

Hello gamer. OK, let me begin the review by saying that I'll compare this game to BK (the original Budokai). I'll try to keep this as objective as possible. BK is a whole lot different from his offspring. Firstly, everything (as you probably know) is now i cell-shading. This means that the characters look just like in the show. Although when I read this the first time, I wasn't too happy about it, but I assure you, it looks splended. If you compare the way they look now, with how they looked in BK, I'd say the BK characters look kind of like muppets or something, really, some of them looked very fat. Here they look alot more natural. The amount of characters has known its improvement too, you now have up to 33 playable characters: Videl, Grand Kai, the three Buu forms, SSJ 3 Goku, Vegeto and many more, even characters who never appear in the show. Some of the BK characters have been taken out this time. Like Zarbon, Dodoria and Android 19. The game modes. You have the classic vs mode, Tenkaichi Budokai mode, training... Now for the story mode. This time the story mode has been replaced by something called Dragon World. It looks just like a boardgame, where you, and some other allies travel around the world of DBZ to collect the 7 dragonballs, fighting the enemies on your path. It takes you from the arrival of Raditz to the end of Buu. Despite this rather childish mode, the storyline you are taken through makes up for the 'bad' move the game developers made. Sound now. the sound is very good, the intro movie by the way, is very well made! There aren't really any new tunes though, most of them are from BK. There is a small remark I'd like to make. While playing Dragon World, Jazz music is played, and well, that's not the type of music you want to listen to when you're supposed to save the world now is it?? The voices (this is maybe a very important point) are all in English! Many of you may have found BK a bit annoying because it was in Japanese. Well, when I saw the trailer of BK2 I didn't feel too happy, because I prefer the original Japanese voices. But afterwards, it was for the best that they changed it, else you would have no clue of what was being said in the story mode. At least for those who don't understand Japanese (I do on the other hand, that's why I didn't like the English thing in the beginning). Gameplay. If you thought the controls in BK were the best, think again. In BK2 they have managed to improve it even more. You can feel the difference. Your character is a whole lot easier to manage. You also have more freedom when in the air. There are a whole bunch of new moves, and some of them eally kick ass!! I then think of the father-son kamehameha, it's unstoppable! There are a few new stages in BK2, the rest is from BK. Now there's also this thing called 'Babidi's spaceship' mode. Here, you're supposed to complete his demands and by doing that succesfully, you earn Kili, with that you can win characters and various moves. In overall, this game scores very high, in my opinion, even higher than BK. If you played BK, or are a huge DBZ fan, this game is one to get, no doubt about that.

i helped create the game and there is an extra charcter youll have to figer out how to get it your self but it is baby from dbzgt iv played the game and it is very very cooli liked the game because of the fusions and you can use all there of the majin boo stages kid buu fat boo and super boo and you can use vegetto and there is a way to use some newly fused charecters that are not in the game for instence you can fuse gohan and videl togher and you will get a godel
