man budokai was a hit with all the things you could do...but that was just a preview of the real thing the makers came back with budokai 2 that was a major hit with all the fusions and super saiyan 3 and majin vegeta,with all the buu's its tottaly awsome so thats why no other game is the same this year with budokai 2....so i hope the makers next year take it up 2 the next level,yeeaahh lets go....and play da game...and lets do our best to defet those buu's cause theyre one taugh guys or monsters lol...

this game is so cold I won't be able to stop playing it. it has way better graphics than the first one looks just like the show gets you thinkin bout you can beat anyone but ounce you get to buu beware he is extremely hard try practicing with friends to get as good as me dragon orld is tight my favorite character is goku ssj 3 I dont like cheating so I am not going to do the percentage code maybe hope this helps you to buy this game cause it is the best game eva if you think I am lying get the game

Me and my bro. went to war on this game! WE love it! The fact that they have added the fusions is one thing, but its the dramatic scenes during battle they have added that blew us away. Like the Videls move the "Close call" and Gohan stepped in to defend his woman, MAN!!Or the "Fusion dance" were your responsible for pushing the correct order of buttons. That game is right! you can tell alot of time and effort was put in, and that somebody lost alotta sleep making it.The cartoon like effect was another neat feature. The game play is far superior to the first one in the fact that you can counter.When we first played it my bro had Vegito in story mode against Super buu. Tward the end of the fight Buu backed up to do a super Kamehameha and my bro. only had a little energy left so he just dropped the controller. When the beam hit and Vegito started pushing it back we went crazy! That was the first time we had seen that feature so it was all new.(He got blown away by Buu but we still cheered!!)I noticed the soundtack was very similar to the first one but thats cool. The newly detailed exploding backgrounds were great, you just couldnt do it as often as you like. All the characters are great but I fell they slept on alotta other good charecters. They could have put them on instead of some of the returns.(ex. Pikkon, Olebru, Uub.) Theres only one thing that made me give this game a "9" and thats the new story mode. Its to long and drawn out. Other than that this game is straight crazy and is gonna be a classic!! Great job!

I was the few few people to get budokai2.I got the last one.My mother couldn't pay for it the first time I got it when there were many.So they were put on lailway until she could pay for them.On Dec,17 everything was put back on the shelves.The one who posseses the Budokai I touched I shall put a curse upon you!!
Just kiding...anyway from the looks of it the way you peoople talk about Budokai2 it rocks.I also give good credit to the people who put screen shots of Budokai2 on the net.I'm interested.My mother hid it from me and my other games.
I think the only way you can get ss4 is by the Dragonballs or completing ADVANCE mode only with EVERYBODY in budokai1 and 2 only.My favirote people are vegeta,goku,gohan,and trunks.and anybody who knows what future trunks special move burning slash is like please display this information publicly because I dont have my own e-mail adress so I'm going to use my moms.(This is probably the adress she doesnt use no more.)

Ok pepole i played the game for like 2hours and got to buu i beat fat buu and went on to super buu i could not beat super buu wenever he obsorbed gohan because he gets way more life then i do so its kind of not fair but its a great game any way i like the sounds of the game and the fact that you dont have to push buttons to do a kamehameha i think that the way the fighters looked was good but they kinda look like paper anyway i suggest you go out and rent it first befor you buy it but if you liked the 1st budokai you will like this 1 more...

The game rocks so much i play it every day and to any one who gives this game bad review there is something wrong with you!!!
DragonWorld was not what i expected but it still rocks.Babidi's spaceship is cool too and the world tournament is better i think you can play with about 8 of your friends.The graphics has changed alot since the last Budokai I think the cartoon look is better!!.Here's a little hint when fighting before u fight edit your skills put in the viral heart disease and the vaccine so that when your fighting your enemies health will decrease only untill the orange life bar.U really have to buy this game!!!!

the graphics are amazing, the character list is amazing and the moves are so much better than budokai 1... plus they're more interactive. This game is better when u play duel with friends cuz dragon world can get boring. Tournament and spaceship are tight though. all u need to do to get all the capsules by the way is hold L2 and keep goin in and out of skill shop, do that for a while and before u leave make sure you buy something or else it won't save and u'll lose all that cheatin work. Once u get to 90-95 % of the capsules u gotta be patient but trust me all the capsules will come.. including majin vegeta... all of them.

This game is awesome because you can be so many different characters and it has a good new dragon mode. I like how the dragon balls are a lot easier to get and there are more possibilities and you can become higher levels of super saiyans. I like how you can be Vegeta and Majin Vegeta. I also like the fact that you can be both Gotenks and Vegeto fusions. It's also awesome that you can be every form of buu. You can be Fat Buu, Super Buu, and Kid Buu, then, you can be gohan and gotenks absorbed. And there is one secret character that they are not telling people about. It's also cool how you can achieve a super saiyan 3. Well this game was awesome and i think that everyone who liked the first one should get this game.

i think this game is brilliant its so good on different levels the thing is ive got the english version so it mite be diiferent to the anerican version but its still good i agree with one other reviwer that the story mode should ave bin the same but its good that they made this 1 different i cant waite till the next 1 cums out if tey r to do so and a few sugestions on the name of the next 1 GT bateling, kid goku lagacy sumthing like that or maybe not lol but this game is truely awsum so bye it if u avnt done so

The game is really a banger. The graphics are a lot improved in comparison with the last Budokai. It's a pitty the Story Mode is gone but the dragonworld is als a lot of fun because there happen things that don't really happen in the series. Like Buu who absorbs Cell and other stuf. You can unlock Vegeto by getting the potara in level 9 of the dragonworld and then you have to meet Vegeta. To unlock Gotenks you just have get to level 7 of dragonworld. You can unlock The Great Saiyaman by defeating Cell in level 4 with Gohan. You can unlock Hercule by defeating Fat Buu (level 6)with the Great Saiyaman and then you can unlock Videl by defeating Super Buu (who was to absorb Gohan first) with Hercule. To get Future Trunks you have to defeat Vegeta on Namek with Kid Trunks. Krillin has to defeat #18 and Piccolo has to defeat #17 to get those two androids. You can also do a great attack with Goku if you adjust the skill list. If you put "Kaioken x20 , 2 times Super Spirit Bomb, Z-Sword and Potential" in your skills, you have to begin a fight. If you wait for 15 seconds or so and go into Kaioken and than do a Super Spirit Bomb your opponent will lose three health gauges. You can also get breakthrought with all characters when you go to the skill shop. If Bulma says something like "come again" you have to push R1,R2,L1,L2 at the same time repeatedly. You should notice that your percentage is getting higher. That means it has worked (this cheat doesn't always work and it could be that you'll have to try another). You can get the 3 Buu's by collecting the dragonballs and wishing Babidi's Spaceship. If you fight a lot in that ship you can unlock all Buus. I also heard you could wish for Tiencha (fusion of Tien and Yamcha) but I haven't tried it out yet.

This game it tight. Buu is way too powerfull though. Im not mad about him being too powerfully thats really how powerfull he is on the show so that was good they made buu that good.i think they should of made goku more powerfull than buu. thats just what i think. i think goku is the $#< remove me > at !. i wish they would of made more codes for the game. sorry i like to cheat. $#< remove me > at ! i bought the dam game i want to control everything dam it. ive read alot of reviews. i agree with some when the say the story mode on the first dragon ball game should of been on the new game, but i guess they didnt want to make them too much alike. thats understandable.

This game is awesome. I miss the story mode but dragonworld kept me busy longer. The graphics are awesome. It actually feels like the show. The atacks are also more explosive.A Kamehameha actually looks like a beam and it doesn't just hit u and u fall down, it is actually realistic to the show and blows up on u. there are some minor problems though. cells voice is always the same (sounds kinda wierd)and they took out android 16,zarbon and dodoria. But i didn't really care about that anyways.Anyone with a ps2 should get this game and if u got a cube, it comes out in the summer of 2004. 2 words, GET IT!

It is the best game I've ever played.It has great graphics.I can do everything but one thing.I don't know how to use fusion or pontara earrings outside of dragon world.If you know how to use it email me at jimT678.If you want cheats for this and many other games go to cheatplanet.com its got all the latest cheats and stadegies.It tells you how to get charecters and other unlockables.It took out the stinky people and put in the new ones.If you want teen gohan and videl listen carefully for teen gohan you have to beat cell on the last level wher you beat kid buu. you have to beat cell with adult gohan.To get videl you have to beat super buu(with gohan absorbed) with hercule.Just incase your wondering once you get all 29 charecters you will get advanced mode for tournament mode.To get Free capsules with a memory card go to the capsul buying place and hold L1+l2 and leave repeat the process for more stuff.so If you havent played this game ther are some cheats.In dragon world you will fight kid buu last here is my hint. use something like sensu bean for your skill list so when you die you will have full life and full ki.That way you can have a benafit.i LIKED THIS GAME BECAUSE IT ROCKED.

The first budokai i loved because it was a different fichting game and dragonball itself is a great anime series. Then they finally released budokai 2 that was one of the happiest moments of my life. (meeting my girlfriend was ofcourse lots beter)As i started the game i was dazzeld by its great graphics and gameplay. right now i should normally be studiing for school 'cause we're having tests everyday but i just can't let go. My best friend also plays it a lot. whenwe play together there's no limit to what kinda damage we could do. so in conclusion it's the best fighting game i have ever played. To the creators i woould say keep up the good work and hurry up with number 3.

This game is cool. the story is not the same it is on tv, but this game rocks. And my tip for you is....
When you are playing the story mode "Dragon World" when you get to Namek beat Vegeta with Goku, and you have unlocked Vegeta.
And also when you play the story mode, when you have up to 3,600 victorys you will unlock kid buu. To unlock Super Saiyan 3 for Goku.. Just beat the fat Majin Buu in the story mode with Goku and you will unlock Super Saiyan goku. To fuse as vegito!-- when you are play the story mode, and you get to the Kai the second time in the story mode, he will give you the move you need to fuse Goku and Vegeta together as one. ALso when playing as Vegito in other game modes, to become vegito with Goku press. square square triangle triangle and circle and Goku will fuse with Vegeta.

the graphics are so bad!!!! budokai is so bad!i'll give u 3 reasons.Dragonworld sucks i'd rather play monopoly!!!!!the super saiyan 3 looks so girlish!Whats up with that.the faces look like they have been glued on with paper!God this game gets a 0 out 1000000000000000000000000000000000.this is so horrible.this makes dragon ball z look bad.you be playing for hours wasting your time.this was on of the most dispiciible games i've ever in my whole life has played.i returned it one hour after i got it!
