Ok: The Legacy of Goku 1 was BAD, The legacy of Goku 2 was pretty good. Budokai 1 RULES in multiplayer. And Budokai 2 IS THE KING. What 29 characters, MANY skills too unlock, FINALY a Fresh and NEW Story mode (like a boardgame) and BEST MULTIPLAYER EVER (Better than in Budokai1, Loading not as long) Sow don't sit there, GO GET IT. NOW!!!

The game was totally awesome. The best part is fusion and extreme finishers. And the idea behind then being able to dodge your attacks by a 1 to 4 chance. Also can happen when goku/vegeta throw the potaro earrings and can be crushed by your opponent. And also doing bad fusions to become a bad formed character. And what really sucks is you cant fuse all characters instead of just goku/mr. satan, and tien/yamcha. But overall sweet. I also though buu was sweet by absorbing someone which was cool. I also enjoyed the explosions and when you hit them into buildings. Thing I did dislike was the board game story line. But i did find out you can go to bulma's shop and hold in L1, L2 and R1, and then press Triangle and square and keep holding it to get you capsule level up. but if you dont keep holding it in, it wont stay same level, it will reduce to what it was. but when you achieve 98% (as far as i got), purchase something so it will stay.
Overall i give this game a 10 out of 10 cause im a total DBZ freak.

OK OK its an awesome Dbz game for multiplayer but what the heck is with the story mode, God it crap to think that you have to complete story mode everytime to get a dragonball,MAN i tell ya its a pain (but if you want to avoide that just press the L&R buttons at the same time when leaving Bulmas shop)but that abit dodgy but if ya want to get every capsule fast its the way to go.
FUSIONS=interesting and very funny, you gotta see Gokule (Goku fused with Hercule.The finishing moves in this DBZ are outstanding totally awesome with the graphics provided, they really have a umph! to them like kid buu's warp and Vegeta's Big Bang Attack.Alot of the hand to hand combat is similar to No1 but in some charactors there are much longer combos.Overall its a treat to any DBZ fan.

hey i can't get SS1 goku but i have the SS2 and SS3 capsules. can someone help? i got almost all the characters and capsules but the super sayain 1 for goku. i thought the game had excelent fighting, but was weird with the boardgame style of play i have beaten the game several times since i got it a couple of days ago. i give it an excelent rating. but i do need help getting super sayain 1 for goku if any body has the answer on how to get it please let me know. my email address is kooter420b< remove me > at yahoo.com

This game is one of the best games in it's class, there are 29 characters and the graphics on the levels are cool. BUT ones u've played Budukai 1.....it just seems to be a abit stolen from the first game....they haven't put that much effort in a more exciting dragin ball z game. SURE it's got fusion and majin buu and all, but i would expect the power of transformation to be much stronger like in the serie's. IF u transform in the game, the attack power only increases by 35% in super sayin 3....and i dont find that alot.MULTIPLAYER IS WICKED THOUGH!!!!

This Game looks sweet especially with the Fusions.I can't wait to play this game.it is most definetly the best looking Dragon Ball Z game ever made.Dragon Ball Z Budokai was a bit of a disappointment but it was ok.Budokai 2 definately has a new look and I think it will be very successful in sales.Gogeta rules.can't wait to see it in stores this holiday season.

The look of this game is absolutly amaizing. The voice-overs are impecable and I really enjoy how fast the game is. There are things however that need to be improved on. For one, the computer is a bit cheap. It knows when you are going to pull off some moves. If you jump back it will do a blast atack before you actually start to jump back or when you dash in and attack the computer attacks first. This doesn't happen always but it does happen most of the time. It is difficult to be as quick as the computer. Often when moves or movement is supposed to be happening it doesn't. For example: When one dashes and stops just before the opponent there is a delay before you are able to attack again. Samething happens when punching and then wanting to jump back. These delays are not fun and shouldn't be happening. I hope these "glitches" are fixed in the next game.

DragonWorld was not what i expected but it still rocks.Babidi's spaceship is cool too and the world tournament is better i think you can play with about 8 of your friends.The graphics has changed alot since the last Budokai I think the cartoon look is better!!.Here's a little hint when fighting before u fight edit your skills put in the viral heart disease and the vaccine so that when your fighting your enemies health will decrease only untill the orange life bar.U really have to buy this game!!!!

This realistic game blew my ####### brain out. This game is over the ranks. Who ever sees this game in stores you betta buy it because it is the best game out and ever made. Now if you buy it I got the one code you realy need and that is to hold down L1,L2,R1,R2 at the same time you will have every body and everything so you shell buy the game because the graphic's are better than any game out. I love to play with Trunks,Goten,Gotenks,and SuperBuu.Thank you for creating DragonBallz Budokai 2 and please make a drgonBallz Budokai 2 I will pay you 500$.

i think this game is brilliant its so good on different levels the thing is ive got the english version so it mite be diiferent to the anerican version but its still good i agree with one other reviwer that the story mode should ave bin the same but its good that they made this 1 different i cant waite till the next 1 cums out if tey r to do so and a few sugestions on the name of the next 1 GT bateling, kid goku lagacy sumthing like that or maybe not lol but this game is truely awsum so bye it if u avnt done so

Down Below our favorite pedifile MJ is saying that this is one of the worst games ever. It's not all that bad. The story is creative but boring. No Really interseting story points and it's like a board game, lame. The fusions are CREATIVE, and fun to use for a DBZ fan. Tournament mode can be fun if it wasn't so short. You can win in literally 8 seconds (Idid it against Krillin) You create your own skill list for characters which is cool and fun to do sometimes. But the game IS worth renting atleast once, don't take the word from Michael below me, he can't even talk right when he's typing (c'mon now) This game can be fun sometimes, especially when playing against a friend. Try it once, it's worth one shot at it, but buying it would not be my advise.

Hey Michael Jackson %#%&*$ your so gay like he is seriously all you do is say gibberish you probley only got to like vegeta and stopped you know the game is too good for your tiny brain now listen up Brolly Rocks and this game does too the characters are awesome I like gotenks I kick < remove me > at ss with him I used to get the fat one now I do the combination fast enough I play with my friends I like that you can do tournament with up to 8 people!!! There isnt much to say Veggeto is cool too Im a major dbz fan I have 4 action figures a goku a vegeta a gohan and a collecters huge brolly if you have the brolly movie it will show him in the advertising things I have 3 of the movies DBZ rocks im its biggest fan Hercule is funny with his present for you I dont know if he has it in budokai 2 though and go kid buu your my 3rd favorite guy in DBZ first Brolly Then 2nd Gogeta 3rd Kid buu! The only thing wrong is what the heck item is used to unlock buu!
Graphics: 9/10 Better then budokai 1's!

The first budokai i loved because it was a different fichting game and dragonball itself is a great anime series. Then they finally released budokai 2 that was one of the happiest moments of my life. (meeting my girlfriend was ofcourse lots beter)As i started the game i was dazzeld by its great graphics and gameplay. right now i should normally be studiing for school 'cause we're having tests everyday but i just can't let go. My best friend also plays it a lot. whenwe play together there's no limit to what kinda damage we could do. so in conclusion it's the best fighting game i have ever played. To the creators i woould say keep up the good work and hurry up with number 3.

this game has some really cool characters and it has new features like dragon mode, where you get the dragonballs as different characters. You can fuse, Goku and Hercule, Goku and Vegeta-Vegeto-trunks and goten, and new levels capsules and higher leveled super saiyans. unknown characters, some haven't even been found yet. There isn't a story mode but at least the dragonballs will be easier to get. You get different backrounds. you can have people like majin vegeta, all forms of buu, supreme kai, videl, adult gohan, without the saiyaman suit, goten and trunks, you will not be able to play as dodoria, zarbon, or kid gohan. Well, if you like dragon ballz or you liked the first one you will love this one. You can also use data from the first one to the second. This game rules.

I havn't had a chance to play it yet, but I will own it tomorrow. I have been following this game for 4 months and from what I can tell it's great. The game has lost zarbon and android 19 from it's roster to include new ones such as the three forms of buu and Dabora. The first was greatest dbz game to come out except for (dbz legends, which gave it the fast paced battles) and made final bout the poster child for bad games. This game has an inhanced world tournament mode and new dragon world which throws out random battles in search of dragonballs, this also with the ability to carry our data from the 1st one to the second on the PS version. Looking foward to many sleepless nights and pounds of coffe due to this one.

this game is so cold I won't be able to stop playing it. it has way better graphics than the first one looks just like the show gets you thinkin bout you can beat anyone but ounce you get to buu beware he is extremely hard try practicing with friends to get as good as me dragon orld is tight my favorite character is goku ssj 3 I dont like cheating so I am not going to do the percentage code maybe hope this helps you to buy this game cause it is the best game eva if you think I am lying get the game

I played DragonballZ Budokia 1 for a day straight and beat it in very hard. I did get hooked on the tounrament for awhile then spent a couple hours buying all the capsules and the dballz to get the secret move. Number 2 looks a whole lot better than the first. I am not saying that number was wasn't bad but it wasnt good either. This one comes out tomarrow and i will be getting it and i do recomend it for anyone at any age. the thing i will be looking for is a beter single player mode. Also, the fusions.

the graphics are amazing, the character list is amazing and the moves are so much better than budokai 1... plus they're more interactive. This game is better when u play duel with friends cuz dragon world can get boring. Tournament and spaceship are tight though. all u need to do to get all the capsules by the way is hold L2 and keep goin in and out of skill shop, do that for a while and before u leave make sure you buy something or else it won't save and u'll lose all that cheatin work. Once u get to 90-95 % of the capsules u gotta be patient but trust me all the capsules will come.. including majin vegeta... all of them.

I was the few few people to get budokai2.I got the last one.My mother couldn't pay for it the first time I got it when there were many.So they were put on lailway until she could pay for them.On Dec,17 everything was put back on the shelves.The one who posseses the Budokai I touched I shall put a curse upon you!!
Just kiding...anyway from the looks of it the way you peoople talk about Budokai2 it rocks.I also give good credit to the people who put screen shots of Budokai2 on the net.I'm interested.My mother hid it from me and my other games.
I think the only way you can get ss4 is by the Dragonballs or completing ADVANCE mode only with EVERYBODY in budokai1 and 2 only.My favirote people are vegeta,goku,gohan,and trunks.and anybody who knows what future trunks special move burning slash is like please display this information publicly because I dont have my own e-mail adress so I'm going to use my moms.(This is probably the adress she doesnt use no more.)
