this game is the best of the best you just can't put this game down for a second its just damn !! cool. you can go supersaiyan 3 2 1 and beyond in this kick ass game if yove got number 1 get this its the $#< remove me > at !. burst zone just looks so cool plus the special moves are just so heavy if you know how to get ss4 goku or anyone ss4 just email me at westonhoofer < remove me > at aol.com fusions are really cool they done a great job of it i still think should of made everyone fuse with everyone that was a huge mistake as well as not making every saiyan go ss4 but i still love this game and never get bored of it.

Me and my bro were just playing this it is awesome!!! I was adult gohan and went to elder kai unlock potential and started kicking my brothers a< remove me > at < remove me > at and then all of a sudden he kicked me out to sea and i smashed into rocks! then he threw a spirit bomb at me and i had little health. Then i grabbed the spirit bomb so i rolled the analog stick and i pushed it back and he died! We both cheered. You guys gotta get this! Its da shiznit! If u guys like it post up more! Hey the percentage cheat works too! Hey can someone tell me how to push back kamehameha?

The game is fantastic it is one of the best games i have ever played on the only bad thing is when you get kobitoshin you cant actually be kabito kai but never mind the z makers have cracked it the game is an all round winner it is far better than the first budokai and all of the other dragonballz games out and super spirit bomb ia absolutley fantastic dont you think my personal favorite though is....final explosion even thouh you kill yourself my favorite charicter is also vegta he is so cool you have to agree with me here it is the best z game ever made

I think this game(Dragon BallZ Budokai: 2) could have been a bit better than it really was. First off, if you play as Cell, when you transform into Perfect Form and do the Kamehameha Wave, the voice of Cell sounds the same as when he's in 1st and 2nd form. Another point is the fusion Kabitoshin. I mean all it is is Supreme Kai's techniques in a different body. I don't believe i wasted my time getting the dragonballs 4 that. Lastly, they could have(or at least i think) put a little more time into the fusion and potara techniques. 4 example, as hercule, when u use the potara, he hits his opponent with as much force as supreme kai to knock him down. We ALL know Hercule is not as strong, nor even close to the power level of the supreme kai. Otherwise th game was REALLY good(or at least in my opinion.)

Me and my bro. went to war on this game! WE love it! The fact that they have added the fusions is one thing, but its the dramatic scenes during battle they have added that blew us away. Like the Videls move the "Close call" and Gohan stepped in to defend his woman, MAN!!Or the "Fusion dance" were your responsible for pushing the correct order of buttons. That game is right! you can tell alot of time and effort was put in, and that somebody lost alotta sleep making it.The cartoon like effect was another neat feature. The game play is far superior to the first one in the fact that you can counter.When we first played it my bro had Vegito in story mode against Super buu. Tward the end of the fight Buu backed up to do a super Kamehameha and my bro. only had a little energy left so he just dropped the controller. When the beam hit and Vegito started pushing it back we went crazy! That was the first time we had seen that feature so it was all new.(He got blown away by Buu but we still cheered!!)I noticed the soundtack was very similar to the first one but thats cool. The newly detailed exploding backgrounds were great, you just couldnt do it as often as you like. All the characters are great but I fell they slept on alotta other good charecters. They could have put them on instead of some of the returns.(ex. Pikkon, Olebru, Uub.) Theres only one thing that made me give this game a "9" and thats the new story mode. Its to long and drawn out. Other than that this game is straight crazy and is gonna be a classic!! Great job!

Well yah the title/summery or whatever describes how i feel, The graphics are good but not as good as the first one (When i use final flash with vegita in his uniform the yellow straps, errr..whatever are cut off with the chest plates..)Anyways Budokai 1's graphics are much better...
Now the dragon world, its okay could have waited to make it like now so they would start off in the actual gt...When i play it all i find is one dragon ball...Then they are like hidden and you can never get them. That is a bunch of Shiot right there..Chasing cell? Pffft, thats gay why cant you add the cell games and things like that...
They need Way more moves for the charectors eatch, I gotta wait for ever to get one move for them (One time i beat dragon world = 1 good move), also they should start it off in dragon ball series then make it harder and longer to beat eatch level (Example: Once your about to go and fight frieza, zarbon comes in and frieza moves and you gotta do it again...) In namek you should find all the dragon balls too then you fight frieza for it, you lose you have to recollect them and frieza will be harder, you win you get to go home No more frieza like in Budokai 2...
Well this is all i can say its a good game but with minor details that need to be fixed..

i think this game is ok, the graphics are alot better than in budokai 1. The fushions are awsome ecspially Gotanks. But i think what would make the game alot better is replace the dragon world with the origanal story mode. Its fun to play and all but the story line is way off base. But i think its awsome the way u can fuse onto Vegeto and gotanks. And having gohans elder kai unlock ability really helped me through Dragon world. And then Gokus Super saiyen 3 looks pretty real. i think when u fuse u should gain more power than what you do gain(ecsially with vegeto he should be alot more powerful) And even though Gohans unlock ability is kool i think with the pounding he gav majin buu that he should be alot more powerful.
And Magin buu doesnt look very real when your fighting him. He is way to bright, but they got the voice pretty real. But another flaw in this game is Cell and Freza keep coming back to life i mean its fun and all getting more ppl to fight with but they should make them different poeple not just cell and freza over and over again. So i think id give this game a 6 out of 10

Sorry if this affends anyone but I was disapointed with DBZ Budokai 2. The first one followed the story of whole lot closer. If Budokai 2 had stayed more on track with the orginal, (probly just started where the othere left off at the end of the cell games) then it would of made a worthy DBZ game. Let me give a example. The begaining of dragon world starts with nappa and raditz landing on earth, but any true DBZ fan would no the raditz came alone, followed 1 year later by nappa and vegeta. They also had freeza pay a visit to earth, and that wasn't suppost to happen untill the andiod saga after namik. Forget about the cell saga or cell games, instead you get a retarded board chase after cell. Plus several of the orginal stages were cut out that were in the buu saga like kami's look out. And has anyone but me noticed that when you use a gaint attack like the super spirit bomb or super kamahamaha that there is no crater or even a small scratch on the ground? I think the only few good things they did with this game was add more characters and made all the characters more custamizable. Not to mention you can now duel using to commputer controlled custonized characters. I do think the game is worth buying if you are a hard core DBZ freak like myself. But as for its rating compaired to the first......nah. Even the music in this one couldn't follow the music from the cartoon, well ecept in the begaining a little bit.
Im just disapointed with the over all effort put into the game.

i got the game one of the 1st days it came out, it was pretty good, but it coulda been bettr. I still luv it, and the graphics are awesome, but the story mode was better, and I can't get the the next level in the Tournament mode (ne help would be great!!) anyways, i love the fact the game has Buu, even tho it's totally unfair he gets more Health than me!!!...
And I give it a 9 because of the story mode, and the fact it cant keep my attention. I can play it for a while, but not for hours, unlike GTA Vice City...

Me i think that this is going to be a cool game and all but what is it without a story mode, they should bhave put a story mode into it but it might be as good if not better without it. Are all the characters accessable from the get go or do you have to get their capsules. I hope the game is still just as good without the story mode.

This game it tight. Buu is way too powerfull though. Im not mad about him being too powerfully thats really how powerfull he is on the show so that was good they made buu that good.i think they should of made goku more powerfull than buu. thats just what i think. i think goku is the $#< remove me > at !. i wish they would of made more codes for the game. sorry i like to cheat. $#< remove me > at ! i bought the dam game i want to control everything dam it. ive read alot of reviews. i agree with some when the say the story mode on the first dragon ball game should of been on the new game, but i guess they didnt want to make them too much alike. thats understandable.

yea...i agree with everyone that this was a kick ass game...the graphics( in my opinion) were awsome...the practice mode, babadi's spaceship, world tournament, and dueling...they were great! even the characters were great! I love gotenks and gocule! they were so freakin awsome ( all though no one can beat me when it comes to piccolo hehe). the only thing that was an EXTREMELY DISAPOINTING aspect of the game was the dragon mode. IT sucked!!!!! this game could have been ALOT better if it was in the 1st dbz budokai. I just didnt feel like it gave a personal connection with the real show. and the appearance of freiza and cell continously was annoying to me. but overall. it was a good game..i give it an 8 out of 10. i hope u all enjoy this game as much as i do. o yea...DBZ IS THE BEST SHOW ANIME EVER CREATED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well I havent got it yet it comes out tomarrow but from what I see it looks great and I can't wait to get it. I already have it payed off and reserved. I'll be playing it non-stop tomarrow. So I guess what I'm really waiting for is the new characters and the new tornament mode where you can play against your friends so I guess that will be fun. And I also hear that the new story mode is some what like a game board game I saw a screen shot of it and from what I saw it looks real diffrent and really good.

The game play is awsome but it goes to far from the story. If your a real dbz fan it dont matter so... Well the fighting styles are a little different than the first but I have to say that the graffics where very nicely done i could actually see the waves comen of the hits. the cartoon look is really cool to. The lookin for dragonballs is kinda cool but i think they could have done that differently.. Like instead of a map a 3D world, but still it is a fun game. they should have left the story sequences in like the first one that would draw more attention but the whole little heads talken to heads thing is a little corny.. I know Im talkin as if I dont like the game, but please don't miss understand me I love it. I just thought it could be better.

This is one of the coolest games I have played in a while, but it needs more to it. The music is what made its score down on my part. Adding orriginal Dragonball Z music from the actual series would be one of the best ideas you could use. Some of the graphics could be a little better, but they are very good. The thing I am just most concerned about it the music. What they say before and after fights could change as well. "I've finally beaten Kakorat!!" Is just a weird thing for Vegeta to say. What is the point of him saying that? I think Budakai 3 will be much better, but if it is not, they should quit making the games. I rate this game as a 9, and it could go no higher. If the Funimation created this game, shame on them, because they can do better than that. My diagnosus: Get rid of the stupid sayings they say before and after duels, and bring music from the real show instead of dumb Jazz music playing in the backround. All that want to know who I am, I am Ty. I hope you guys do take a little time to read this. It is very important to me, for I am a hardcore dragonball Z fan, and don't want to see it go down into the dust like that -=snaps fingers=- I want to see the series rize so high that it can rise no more.

the gameplay for the duels is really much better , the loadingtimes r way shorter to , to bad the story mode 'sucks' ( the story is very very strange score = -2) , the fusions seem cool ( im only at the majin buu saga) the new death moves r cool to , the graps r good once you are used to it

this game has graphics that looks like playstation 1 graphics and you can't fuse in story mode i think this game was overrated by you people it's not as great as you say.i hated this game budokai 1 was sooooo much better this game should've never been made. even though a lot of people say they like it i have the guts to tell the truth. there is one cool thing about this game. no wait nevermind there isn't. don't waste 50 dollers on this game it's not worth it. oh yeah and if you guys like it then here a cheat if you press xxxx oo xx you will get every move for every person. no nevermind i just typed it to get over 150 words. and it did not work so i'll just write this. i hated that game i hated that game i hated that game i really did.
