DDR Max 2 is the best |
| Roxi from Davenport, U.S.A. says (10/Oct/2004): |
I love DDR MAX 2 because It has great song like "Dream a Dream" and "Long Train Runnin"Me and my brother played it all night when we got it.It was so worth the money.I can't wait untill the next version.I had all the tokens unlocked by the 2nd day I had it.The hardest song is definitly Max unlimited. The beginers mode is defintly helpful to new players.I love the graphics on the game it is awesome.Endless mode is really fun.I can only get to level 30 right now but I will improve.Remember don't get fustrated that you are getting just boo's and almost's when you play for the first time just keep on working at it.

First is always the Worst |
| Kevin from Omaha, NE, USA says (27/May/2004): |
The first DDR game I ever played, probably wasnt my best exp. I hated it so much that I didnt touch it for two years (but then I found out that DDR Extreme had beginners mode). So when I went to "The Great Wolf Lodge" my cousin really wanted to play it, but not alone. She wouldent stop asking me, and finally I got so annoyed I gave in. I played beginners mode and I started to have fun. I felt as if I could move on to light mode and so I did. I wasnt the greatest in the world but not the worst.
On April 1st, my little brother got DDRMAX2 for his birthday. So we played it for a few hours and got better, then I moved up to Standard mode, played that for a long time, and about a month later, I moved from just starting Light to Heavy, no problem!
So when you play this for your first time, dont give up, just keep playing, it gets very very frustrating at points, but if you could see the before and after results, I have become alot stronger in the legs and my reaction speed for everything has been really high! (If anyone can beat Max Unlimited on Heavy.... send me an e-mail, because thats the last song I need to fininsh, so e-mail me a tip on how to finish it, please)

This is the game that takes music and puts it together with music steps. This is the game of the century! I really can't stop playing it. There are a lot of them are good but sadly, some of them are crap. But still, some of them are good. Really. I'm not joking. I can't wait for DDR Max 3.

Its the only game I play for hours on end!!!!!!!!!!! |
| Garrett from Beloit,Wisconsin u.s.a says (27/Feb/2004): |
The first time I play DDR MAX was at this arcade in the dells (somewere in wisconsin) and I spent about $10.00 on just trying to do it and failed most of the games I played. Then these two guys asked me if they could try it and they were asome. When I started to play again the guy that just got off of it came up to me after the second song I played and gave me about 25 tokens and sayed good lucky kid and after that I have been passing it on to other people by giving them about 25 tokens when they just start to play(like when I was really bad and just started). If he didn't do that to me I think I wouldn't be as good as I am now(I'm about on heavy). I hope whoever reads this will do the samething that I did even if you only give him/her 5 tokens. Its kindness and just being a good friend.(thanks Frank for giving me the tokens if you read this)and remember dont give up on your dreams even if you fail the first time(like I did).

| DDR_Shoujo from Puyallup, WA, USA says (27/Sep/2003): |
My brother and I just got DDR Max 2 TODAY (it was released in our state just two days ago) and we've already unlocked most of hte songs already. We've played for about three or four hours... yeah, yeah, you can tell we love it. It's really awesome that they now feature the on-screen character options with character choices, along with non-stop mode, endless mode, and beginner mode (which we don't use because we're too advanced for it). The new songs are great, and adding popular songs from previous DDR's really adds on a lot of variety. Konami, this is your best yet, and we're definitely gonna buy the next one, whenever it comes out. Doumo Arigatou Gozaimasu! Mata, ne?

One of the BEST games for this platform in my opinion |
| Will from Nacogdoches, Texas USA says (24/Sep/2003): |
DDR Max 2 has finally hit the playstation console....not only does it give the same fun factors as its predecesor ddr max, but some new features along with it. There are more songs you can unlock in this game, including the challenging max 300 and the ever so popular Maxx Unlimited. The graphics on this game are amazing, showing tha konami has come a long way from the playstation KONAMIX. Like an rpg, this game takes practice, patience, and much dedication in order to completely unlock everything...and you kind of "level up" getting better and stronger as you go along. No other game even competes with ddr max. This game is as original as they come, increasing hand foot coordination, as well as offering a workout mode for those who want to lose weight, and let me tell ya, it DOES help the weight loss! Well, i hope everyone liked my review, now go out, buy the game, follow those arrows, and work your way up to maxx unlimited...i know I will!
