Usually, games based on "The Simpsons" are good to begin with then turn crappy (except in "Simpsons Skateboarding, because that was crappy all the way thru.) But not this one! This GTA-clone is fun for those that can't play GTA yet, Simpsons fans, and everyone else in between. You can play as Homer, Lisa, Marge, Bart, and Apu (although there are many other sheuffers (spelling?) such as Cletus, Principal Skinner, and Professor Frink. You can steal other cars, the game is free-roam, you can assault civilians (by either running them over or punching/kicking them), and you can outrun the police. (Although, for all those trigger-happy GTA people that love "The Simpsons", there are no weapons (except your fists).The graphics are slightly above avegae, though, and the frame rate can drop at times. The plot (Aliens from a distant planet {Rigel 7, I think} take over a cola company {Buzz Cola} and make the soda mind-altering and use giant cameras disguised as wasps to capture daily life. All of this is for a reality TV show (Damn those things {Except my favorite, "Paradise Hotel"} is full of trademark "Groening Goodness". If you dont play this, you will be saying "D'oh!" for a very long time. PLAY THIS GAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well first things first. This game is being called GTA:Springfield. Now if I were to name this a GTA title I would call it GTA:Suckfield. But it is a good Simpsons game and that is a first, I was skeptical about playing it after I had played the god awful Road Rage and the incredibly lame Simpsons Skateboarding. But this game is not that bad, 5 playable characters, bonus missions and races, interactive enviroments and creative missions make this the first good Simpsons title.
I gave it a 8 for fun factor, a 9 for replay value. But what I didnt like was the fact that there was no weapons. And I can understand why they wouldn't give lisa a rocket launcher and marge a molotov $#< remove me > at !tail, but I mean, why not give bart a slingshot or something simple like that. And since there is no weapons in the game I dont understand why the fighting wasn't more in depth. Again, I'm not saying homer should have a 16 hit combo in which he does a double backflip and eventually snaps the persons neck, but come on, THERE ISNT EVEN ANY PUNCHING. But overall a decent game.

This game is pretty different from the Simpsons Road Rage but if you liked that game you'll probably like this one. This game is sooooooo cool!!!!! I love it. It isn't hard but you have to get used to it(I already have a little experience cause I have the Simpsons Road Rage). It is abuot fun trying to get the people where they want to go and doing the missions for them. I think that the characters are funny (especially Bart and Homer). The graphics are great, the people are funny, and the game is really fun. There are lots of cool levels and bonus games. O yeah and if you don't already know how to get a ton of coins here's how. Whenever you see one of those bees pop out of nowhere all you have to do is jump by pressing the X button and kick it by pressing the square button. Or you can kick the bouncing boxes or the bouncing pop machines to get a lot of coins too.
I know youre gonna love this game so just go play it.

I just got this game about a week ago. When i went to the store I wasn't really a Simpson's fan but my friend said that the game was really good so i took his word for it and bought the game. When I got home I was afraid that I would hate the game and i wouldn't be able to take it back to the store but the minute that i started Playing it i fell in love with it! I have played everyday and it just keeps getting funner and funnier. I admit that there are some little bugs in the game but they don't really bother you when you are having so much fun!!!!!! Even if you are not a Simpson fan this is by far one of my top 3 games that i have ever played. Go buy this game right away and you will understand that what I am saying about this game is true! So get of the computer stop eating donuts(if you are) mmmmmmmmmm..... Dooooonnnnnuuuuuuutttssss!!!!!!

Simpsons Hit and Run is A awesome game.Real Simpsons voices over 30 vehicles and you can walk on foot.All the Simpsons games were OK but Hit and Run has it all.The Graphics are amazing in 7 levels with real Simpsons landmarks like Evergreen Terrace,Kwik E Mart,Moes and Android's Dungeon.In Simpsons Road Rage you could only drive in cars and in Skateboarding you can only skate.But in Hit and Run you can walk on foot.Play as Bart,Homer,Apu,Marge and Lisa. The voices are so funny.Ralph said "My pee came out" and I laughed.But if you run over people the cops come over and take away 50 coins.The story is that weird things are happening in Springfield.There are black vans,Wasp Cameras,Crop circles and cola that's controling human behaviour.It's time to Save Springfield.So stop eating that donut and buy the game

the simpson's hit and run is overall a really good game. the graphics are exellent and the missions are very funny i.e. helping cletus get ketchup packets for winter) the "hit & run meter can be very frustrating thought because it often ends up causing you to lose fity of your coins. i think the game should have had some sort of weapons in it though. it just would have made gameplay more fun. it's a pretty easy game and the bonus level is especially fun. i have GTA3 and Vice City and the only realationshiip between it and GTA is that you can run people over. so, if your looking for a game filled with blood and gore and that's all you want, this game is definetaly not for you. But if your looking for a funny, classic simpson's game, this is for you.

I like this game because in every level there's something that keeps you interested rather it be different characters, cars, or funny gags, you never get tired of playing. I beat the game in four days ( with the help of cheat codes) and didn't sleep hardley at all but everytime I tried to stop playing I just couldn't help myself. It's addictive! It gets aggravating at times because you expect it to be easy and try to hurry through all the missions to get to the next level, but there really are some challenges in this game. Personally my favorite part of the game was just driving around killing wasps, finding gags, winning races, and buying character clothing! It's a really fun game, I'd recommend it to everyone!

Hello! I Love The Simpson's this isnt gorey neither is GTAVC! Parents gotta understand games are games! This game you can expoler Springfeild (there Spirngfeild) and have fun at the same time have it night and even drive a Monster Truck! This game cost up to 50.00$ at select stores: Target,Best Buy,and much others probally Simpsons Rule! There Fun,Intresting,And Homer Hes just a Duff Guy! You Can Also Have Scert Hoilday if you chance your tv date and enjoy Simpson's and dont get mad if You ahve problems in a mission just lay back and enjoy! Plus theres a bonus game as in you race on tracks and have the people of your choice with all the Cards you gotta find!

AWESOME GAME!I LOVE IT.the graphics are awesome and the voices are so funny.i have the road rage game and it is just as good but there is something special about this one.all the stupid sayings are back.D'oh.Cowabunga.I'm having a cow man.Lisa .will you marry me.I have to say the funnisest character is ralph.He's so stupid.you should see him in the first game."my daddy has all the guns".his daddy is a police man."strangers give me candy" when i eat paste my lips get stuck" oh.yeah ralph wiggum is here to stay.Anyway the graphics are wonderful.the missions are cool and bring back old characters.the cars are awesome. This game goes far beyond radical dude!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Right out of the gates, this game is fantastic. This GTA style first person, anarchistic-heyday has some great, detailed content. As we all probably know, the voices are spot on. The environment is pogniantly detailed, with lots of humorous interaction with many, if not all charcters in some way or another. Controls are as they should be and logical. Driving is quite easy and predictable. As I right this review Homer is talking to Groundskeeper Willy. Charcter modeling is superb!
Our only complaint is the relatively light multiplayer content. You can change Homer's appearance from Homer in nothing but his tighties, or his 300 pound, Mumu clad glory.

The best Simpson`s game.You can finally get out of your car and be the master of mayhem!!! Destroying objects,Kicking innocent bystanders,Stealing cars and Smashing and bashing.But be aware as of if your rage meter gets full run straight back in your car!!! Cops will chase you so either 1.Hide somewhere safe or 2.Run and don`t crash into anything.I`d choose option # 2. because you will be found and fined 50 coins.But you still have total control over the whole town of Springfield.It will be just like treehouse of horror.And you don`t have to do the missions unless you want more cars,levels and characters.Well enjoy!!!! And remember "Do`h!!!"

I thought that the hit and run game is really cool . Its fun and enjoyable. I thought it was fun driving in the hidden cars and driving as different people. Overall I think it is good.If you are wondering if there is anything better than just driving as different people etc. well there is it is fun doing races and much more.There is great sound effects, graphics and colour in the game. The levels are fun to complete along with missions driving as marge, bart lisa, homer and even some people who should be jail such as snape. I like how the last level is halloweenish which was cool and different.

The Mind set I was going into when I first picked up this game was, "This is just going to be another crappy Simpsons Game." I am a gigantic Simpsons fan and have been very disappointed about almost all Simpsons Games (excluding the Arcade game made in 1991). But this Game is diffrent the makers actually got it right. It is a remake of GTA but that is what is so great about it. You can get out of your car chose between 5 diffrent charaters. And you can change close and preform missions that Simpson cast Members ask. Did I mention a hilarius Plot? This is a great game, I give it a 10!

the way to beat the death cars and stuff is to pass by broken objects look for the car get close to it click and a quickly the simpsons hit and run gives you cars and cloths to unlock but don"t do that much stuff because the tank get"s up and the cops get you a you owe them fifty coins and you get to be homer bart lisa marge apu and homer but get scared of the 7th level there are zombies so you have to catch chief wiggum or run away from him also you can skip missions and do the next mission if you work that one to much and get very close to winning

This Game is an all round beater.I love the simpsons and this game is perfect.You can play as Homer,Bart,Lisa,Marge and even Apu!It has alot referances from the TV series such as The Itchy and Scratchy movie bilboard and the room from the stonecutters episode.All of the cards you collect are from the series as well like. A card on the first level... It has a card about the SpineMelter2000 chair.Also when you get all the cards,you unlock an Itchy and Scratchy movie which I find interesting. Overall,It is a great game and I reccomend it to all Simpsons fans!

Although its probably one of the best simpsons games ever it comes no where near the likes of GTA. All the reviews I have read about it say that it is the best game ever but I can say It's not. If your planning on buying it, because you like GTA then DON'T. One thing is that you can't go around killing people as its only rated PG, and that is one of GTA's main features. And you should also be able to steal cars instead of buying them as buying them is no fun. So if your planning on buyng it, its not a game that will keep you entertained for hours on end.

i will probely never see a better game,who ever thinks this game sucks they suck i have never seen a guy/girl who hates this game. i hope i never will!! have you? i think its good cause you can steal cars and everything.even my dog likes it he hates going to my room,everytime i play, he cant stay away from my room. isnt that weird.Exept i hate racing against uhhhh! i forgot his name. Whatever it still rocks. and ya multyplayer sucks. Who ever hates this game i hate remember that ok! So never refuse playing hit and run,exept if you want to miss out.

It is the best game of all time! I always enjoy being bart and lisa, I laugh my head off at the newspaper bits, like barts head in the cropcircles. The charecters are so realistic, its weird. The tutorial is realy imformational, I always liston to it all. I havnt yet been apu, but my sister says his car is super fast. As I write this review my sister is playing it! I can hear Barts 'eat my dust, dust eaters' , so Im goona have to play it again.

Wow man, when i started plaing this game i was blown out of my mind i was like dude this game is parcialy like GTA3 and VC (Grand Theft Auto III and Vice City) but without the wepons besides that wounlt be a challendge if you did use wepons. in addision what kind of world would "Springfield" be if the "Simpsons" had wepons (including Apu)
anyways JUST PLAY IT youle become an EVIL homer too!!!!!!!!!!!!

All those who say that this game is bad just because it has no killinG are just stupid .if you dont like it then why are you bothering writing this?and anyway some people dont like all that violence.the graphics are great for the simpsons,it is very easy to get used to and with all the things needed to collect etc.you could play.by far the best simpsons game yet.A MUST HAVE FOR ANY SIMPSONS FAN.10/10
