First Off this game is crazy and deserves a 10 BUT it is so dayum easy to beat! i beat it in like 3 hours. It sucked in that effect. But everything else is great but i hate Driving it is so dam retarted the cars suck! but i love getting off boerds and running around to keep a combo going. But if u have it play it ONLINE it is the best game online besides NBA Live 2004 which i already own. online u can go to like 20 differnt places and they have many differnt games such as a new one called firefight which is alright not great.This is only my openion you don't have to listen

I think a lot of people might have been worried that the newest Tony Hawk game would be too much like THPS4. It's definatly not!
Get off your board, drive a tricked out car, and climb on buildings are just a few of the things you can do in this newest Tony Hawk port. Unlike the other Tony Hawk games this time you'll start as a no-name skater out to make it big. The first THPS game to feature and actual plot.
Again this doesn't score a perfect score because of minor flaws. For example, when you get out of your car, you and the car are back at the place you got in at,(so basically there is no point in driving, it's not like your getting anywhere except back where you got in).But overall and excellent game with tons of replay value. I recently purchased this and I wasn't dissapointed. Even if your not a skating fan, give it a try.

I played the game at first not likeing it since I thought it was just a gimmick of the last one but then I soon found out how to run around and stuff. I said to myself,''this was worth it to spend so much crap to buy it. Even after I beat it in 2hours I played it online which is so much fun. You can play firefight(best game ever) online and blow each other up and stuff. I just wish you people at this site had a code for all the things like rollerskate mode and other stuff because I can't beat all 129 goals. And by the way PLAY IT ONLINE!!!!

I think this was a good game but it took like 4 hours to beat.neversoft could have made it a little longer.And the last goal is gay you skate around with your ex-friend while he throws fireballs at you.All though it was a pretty good game i recommend u try it.<^.^>

First off, i am not slagging this game off but... it's pants. Neversoft spent so much time putting in new ideas and the walking and the driving, and I bought the game, completed it in about 2-3 hours and took it straight back to the shop. Even the secrets really, really sucked. This game wasn't for skateboarders, it is for 9 year old and fat bastards who cannot skate. Example of the amazing realism of the game : the first level. `You start off as a nobody`, however there seems to be about 50 halfpipe configurations around. They could of at least started characters off on a REAL street. Second, there is next to no realism! I mean, i was dissapointed when i became pro in about half hour, but a mctwist over a helicopter is never going to happen is it? I liked the game for the incredibly short time i played it (approx 5 hours) but it was incredibly dissapointing after constructing a team of pros, not even well thought out ie geoff rowley in a suit, then grinding round a city while your `best friend` throws petrol bombs at you. NOT BLOODY LIKELY!
i would have kept this game like i did the others, but frankly, if you have mastered the other games, the only reason to buy this is to master the run out combos. which themselves are indeed bull$#< remove me > at !. Sorry to shatter everyones illusions about this game , but i skate and this is crap. even more so than thps 4, but at least that didnt claim to be realistic.

The people at Neversoft keep on making this game into a game for real skate boarders and they truly have worked magic on this masterpiece.
Here is a insight into T.H.U.G so hold on and get ready for the skate of your life.
T.H.U.G has now learnt how to walk and you even get to explore entire levels by foot but be mindful about the timer whilst doing combos.
And believe it or not you can drive now so you drive,skate and even walk around grandtheft style.
There is a level were you chase some gangsters in a hotrod car.
Yes it is not as good as Colin mcrae 4 but that is understandable because it is not a racing game it is a skating game witch has brought in other methods of play.
Other good things about T.H.U.G is that you can use your own face and this is how you do it:
Well you take a photo of your face using a digital camera or a mobile phone then send it to the Neversoft website: thugonline.com
then they should send you back a memory file through your ps2 online network.
The online play is great you can even customise tricks,pick hand designed board graphics and to top it all of you will be able to trade homemade skate parks.
Even if you have not got online functions you can still create your own likeness using the skate edit tools, there is a wide selection of things you can do to your created skater,mohoicans,nose,lips and even change the size of the forehead.
To get off your skate board and stroll around G.T.A style all you have to do is press L1+R1 simultaneously and your skater will pop his board into his hands.
The old skool tricks are still their and you can grind down 70ft cables and do massive ten trick halfpipe combos.
While the old tony harks games were a series of unrelated levels T.H.U.G uses a story like structure.
As before you have to work your way up to sponsors and travel the world earning your respect points.
You will still have to nail a number of your tasks to move through each area but you do not have to find every last secret.
There is something for everyone in T.H.U.G if you like gameplay hard put it on hard if you like it easy then put it on easy what ever you choose there are four difficulty levels to pick from.
Objectives are alot more diverse than tony harks 4 but i will not spoil it for you by telling you all of them.
Well hitting high scores to inpress,sneaking past junkies to retrieve stolen goods,learning old skool tricks from oriental chefs and driving cars till they over heat are just afew objectives for now.
There are no more fiddly stat points you have to pull big tricks and hold them for longer for your skills to get better and it is a more natural manner of gameplay.
The game play is continues you will never get bored.
The graphics are truly great no other word can describe them.
sound quality is good you hear ever grunt, fall and the surroundings you are in at that time.
If this game has a life span then it is going to be around a very long time.

This is the first time i have played tony hawks-underground.iT IS A TRULY FANTASTIC GAME.I am well addicted.There is so much to do on each level.Can this game possibly get any better?You really feel like you are actually in the game itself.The music soundtracks are reallly great.

This is an awesome game, But they can make it a little less challenging, for example, The goal I'm up to Is to get special, and do a New York Nut Buster (A Trick another Skater Created)Inside a building that has no ramps, no spines, all you can do is grind or maybe a couple of easy tricks.

THUG ROCKS! You can do so much more stuff than all the other games. I like the different difficulty levels. I also loved the cheats you can unlock. I love getting off the board and walking around. It is fun to create your own deck, levels, players, and tricks. If your going to buy a new game, buy THUG. IT ROCKS!!!

When I first rented it I thought it wouldn't be that good be that good. Then I actually played it and it was like WOW! I love aspect of getting off of your board and actually walking around. Plus, the voice acting is great and the goals are challenging but, not to hard. You can also go online and skate and even put your own face onto a custom skater! IF that's not exciting enough you can even make your own level with your own goals. I highly reccommend buying it, especially if you have online capabilities.

omg this is the funnest game i have ever played it is really cool every thing about it i mean it is so cool.there are no words to tell how cool it is. it is the best tony hawk game they have ever mad eit has a lot of stuff that i like. one really cool thing is the fire ball game me and my friend played that game for so long and it never got old. i cant really say anything else becuase there are really no words to describe it.

To begin my review i would just like to congradulate Tony Hawk and the makers of the Tony Hawk series for staying on top of their game. When I got this game i thought that it would be the same as the others, with the exception of new levels and better graphics. Well, I was right on 2 out of 3. There are new levels and also some old. The graphics are beautiful compared with the already excellent graphics from the other Tony Hawk titles. But there so many other things to do in this game. And just with online gameplay its a must have title. This is one of those games that come second to none. The game has all the things you would want in a skatebording game and more. The Tony Hawk series only gets better and better no if's, ands' or but's about it. The best of the best. I mean what other game lets you put "your" actual face on a character (monster rancher 3). I give this game 10 out of 10. Im not recomending this game, Im telling you to buy it.

I reviewed THPS4 section before i did this one... its got alot of THUG info on it too but here we go. Theres 12 levels (3 secrect ones from THPS2). Theres 14 skaters (4 secret). THUG online play is exactly the same as thps4 except for a new game called firefight its not very cool though.Online play has auto-score updater so every time you do a trick attack game online you get ranked.To look at thps4 highs goto www.thpsxonline.com and click on esokiller (thats me). THUG has a few new features. They are Create-a-trick, create-a-deck and a few more. If you have online you can put your face in your own created skater! All you have to do is get a digital camera take a pic of yourself and send it to neversoft. Theres also a hell of alot of songs theres 75 (about 50 are good)I give if possible thug a 47/50 and THPS4 50/50. But I recommend THUG and THPS4 as a first buy game. Those 2 games are the best ever made.

Tony Hawk Underground (THUG) is a good game. The gameplay is flawless, the controls are tight, the graphics make you drool, and there's tons of fun hidden/other things you can do. But the "story" of this thing is crap. When you play it you'll know what I mean. Regardless, I think everyone should buy THUG at some point in time, but do yourself a favour and wait until the price goes down.

It can't get any better than this! Tony Hawk takes it to a whole new level where you can do anything. It is like you are really there. You can break your board, drive tanks and just well.... anything really! this game has gotten me to do better in skateboarding and i have gotten my friends to do it as well! this is by far the best skateboarding game EVER! WHERE WILL IT END!!!

i thought Tony Hawk 4 was incredible, but this just blew it away. The challenges are harder than ever and i'm actually getting frustrated because of it. The levels are far more realistic and the bails are gnarly. The only thing that wierds me out is some of the views that they have and the difficulty of changing them

I have played a lot of games in my life but this game tops of all of the boarding games i have ever played man. If there were a higher ratting, i would rate it the highest one, but 10 is the limit, mabye there should be more. Like mabye 50. I can't even begin to describe the awsomeness of this game

Tony Hawk Underground,or THUG as they call it,has to be the best out of all the Tony Hawk games!!!Not only can you do have all the stuff from the previous 4 games,but now,you have extra!!!Now you can actually get off your skateboard!!!You can actually climb up walls and buildings to roofs and SECRET AREAS and literally hang on telephone wires!!!How crazy is that.If you had one game to buy,you should make it THUG.This has to be the best skateboarding game since,well,Tony Hawk Pro Skater 4!You need to play this game all of you skateboarding lovers,cause this is hot,and it's probably going to stay hot,cause ho can it get better.Just one last thing to say "PLAY THIS GAME"
