i can't believe what other people said about this game. Mafia is nearly the crappiest game at PS2(i dont say "at PC"). It has many bugs and bad controls. Also you can't compare this game to GTA, because this game is like a corridor that you must walk in one way, you don't have any option to choose. You are not free. Or you can't do anything funny like in GTA. There is no fun in this game. DO NOT GET NEAR THIS GAME AT PS2 .

After playing GTA 3 and Vice city i didnt think there could be a better game. But now there is. IF you havnt played it, Mafia is outstantding. With its crazy graphics and sweet story line. After playing it i almost wanted to join the Mafia. The missions get long and hard to beat but you wont get frustrated because you wont want to quit playing. So go check it out. Caprende?

The mafia is a good game, challenging levels, intersesting storyline and accurate guns and cars. However, the graphics compared to other games leaves a lot to be desired, the slow loading time and cars that only load fully when you come near them.
All in all i liked it, tommy gets the gamers sympathy, the levels may be frustrating at times but that big grin of self satisfaction when you complete a difficult mission is priceless.
The depth of the game is also acknowledged, i recently bought medal of honour rising sun, completed it in 4 days.
I recommend this game to any gta fan or someone wanting something nostalgic.

It is an outstanding game with superb graphics.It's missions are really like a true story.But the thing in which this game is lacking behind is in the selection of cars and the car speed.There are'nt many good fast cars to select but who care's about the cars when there are mind blowing missions.I recommend you to buy this game as it is better than GTA3

This is an outstanding game with great graphics.The most important thing in this game which inspired me was the realism in missions.But the only thing this game is lacking behind is the absence of speed both in the car and in the game.The cops are sometimes irritating as they catch us if we are in the speed of 50-60km.THIS GAME IS MUCH BETTER TAN GTA3 AND DON'T FORGET TO BUY IT.
