super hec | | hector patino from new york, long island says (4/Nov/2005): | hi may name is hector you have heard of me in smackdown2 now i have come with new ideas for smackdown here comes the pain as you heard in this game you can create legends also like scotthall hulkamania x-pac etc also i give you a suggestion try creating a character by the first three letters of your name and build him up till everypoint is up to one hundred put him by other so he doesn't bleed when he's face goes to the mat and put the entrance of goldberg you can make copies of this character and use them to create more characters at the same rate of the other and you can make your opponents stronger then from normal or hard put it in smackdown and you see how strong he is in other words continue bulding your choice of wresterler is fun to create and customize matches with created characters try doing it with different matches also if you put the rocks moves on any woman match like bras and panties you can get your character naked it doesn't work with created characters only characters from the game your choice you people

They could have put more wrestlers in it but they can always make another game in the future. I really like the season mode because it has storylines. I don't get the fact that they call is SmackDown! because they have RAW on it too. I enjoy building my own wrestler and playing main events like Hell in a Cell and Bra and Panties. Hehehe. They could have made the game a little easier to play when you have to enter a certain code to perform a special move because when you perform a grapple move either 1. You get it right 2. You get it wrong or 3. The opponent gets you before you press in the code so it's kind of frustrating but really fun to play. For a game that was copyrighted 2003 they should have more recent wrestlers like JBL, Jackie Gayda, Nunzio, Funaki, etc. I also like creating my own animations and entrances. They should also make Coach, J.R., and Lawler all playable characters. I also agree that they should put some classic wrestlers in like Hogan. (Majority of people say they want him in the game). I definetely reccomend the game because if you play in season mode you get to fight in special events like Wrestlemania, Survivor Series, Vegeance, and more! I hope you guys have a chance to play this game! You don't want to miss it!
| The graphics and moves were the main highlight of this game. | | Shanta Kumar from Georgetown,Guyana. says (25/Apr/2005): | I thought this game was ok,but what I don't understand is why not include every wrestler that wrestled since the last smackdown game.The things I liked about this game was the way the graphics and moves looked so real.In every wrestling game you should make it as real as possible and keep improving along the way without leaving out things that you had in the games before.You need to have commentators,only moves that were actually used by the superstars and the original music and attires.The game should've had the real stories that accured in the ring and out.It would be more exciting to have all the matches and in advanced forms.In this game the fans,arenas,backstage and the weapons all looked real.Other than that,the actual wrestling was real and outstanding than any other wrestling game.Most of the wrestlers focus on a specific part of the body and so the blood should come from that part of the character.In season,it should've been more longer than it is and creating a superstar shouldn't be so difficult and long.Please don't make these mistake in the following games.It was still ok and I give it a 7 out of 10 and good luck in the next game.Thanks for entertaining.

...if you do a hardcor match go back in the training room and irishwip them into the walls the walls well fall and you can see a locker and a shower and a bathroom stall you can irishwip them into the shower,stall,locker thy well get stuck and if you are doing a triplethreat this is good to do because the you wont have three you will be on vs one ha thats it.

| how do you create mick foley and other stuff | | jethro scott from kent, gravesend, uk says (15/Nov/2004): | i have been playing here comes the pain for a while and i still can't figure out how to create mick foley i can't find out how so please if any one can tell me please do.Here is a new thing i have lust found out if you go through season mode as shawn michles and you go to wrestle mania bret'hittman'hart should surprise attack you and the he is unlocked and you can play as him.on my game i have become all champions on raw playing on smackdown difficulty and i find it so easy and my tag team partner ischristian who is weak and lost me the world tagteam champian ship belts, also if you have noticed when you buy kanes seconed attire and the old school under taker you have the origanal brothers of destruction except kane is a lot fatter, but you can't blame the makers because kane in real life was played as 4 different people when he had his mask on and also undertaker and old school undertaker look totaly different because to people played him at those different times.in season if you go back stage and y2j is there talk to him he will be annoyed say that you are to busy and he will keep talking then when the options appeare choose 'listen to him' and you will have a two on one match you and y2j against a random wrestler.

| The good and the bad | | Zoe Mumba from Sheffield United Kingdom says (3/Oct/2004): | I thought the game was good 2 start with, but stuff like you can only be a man in season, and the fact Michael Cole and Tazz were not commentating 4 SMACKDOWN!That was taking the Mickey!Plus the storylines were rubbish they were quite good when you first start of but after a bit they get boring!Plus in bra and Panties why can't you be your own superster??The good bits were the graphics but the controls were a bit confusing at first but you get used to them.The one thing I did like was the fact was when you creating your superstar and are choosing there entrance you do not have their whole entranceyou can just have the moves etc which is great a step up from SMACKDOWN! 2.But another thing I did not like was in the Bra and Panties why did it have to be one on one?????Oh yes why the hell could you only have three in your gang it took up to much space and if they insisted couldn't they have given you more entry space.I know in the states it cost around $50 don't worry they ripped us of here as well £40!!

| Kicks butt | | Matt Brunke from Richmond.Virginia,USA says (7/Aug/2004): | Most of u guys are a bunch of freaking whiners, "oh no they took off the hulkster now the game stinx, looks like i am gonna go cry to my momma," god u guys are babies, i dont even know why ur mommas let u play, anyway, the game is awesome, i mean they put all these new matches in, they totally updated the wrestlers, u can unlock some of coolest legends, u can change ur attire before a match, the storyline is incredible, the entrances are cool, when u want a title shot u can get one, and u can choose ur partner when u challenge for the tag-titles belts, every time u start a new game u usually never go the same path as before, its all good, and i know SD6 Smackdown vs. Raw is gonna be even better!!!!! and one of the best matches would have to be the elimination chamber, i mean its incredible, they could make it a little longer before they let somebody out of there container thing, but other than that this game is the best wrestling game out there, no doubt, 120% the best!!!!!!! there really is nothing more to say except i guess that Brock Lesnar and the Undertaker rule!

They should put a buired Alive Match in the new game. As well as Lingerie Match. Where Divas can wrestle in the lingerie. Also, there should be a Bikini challange Match. I'm all for the extra Diva Matches.
There should also be an open match. Like at Wrestlemania XX. Where the wrestlers enter at the beginning of the match. 2 people should start off and then when someone in pinned, another superstar shoud come in.
I also think managers should enter with the superstar. I also want to see more wrestlers in the game. Like Gail Kim, Tyson Tomko, Molly Holly and Shane McMahon, ect.
You should also have rest, encourage, manipulate, attack icons. This game should be the best yet. So there should be more superstars and More Divas. There should be enhanced Story Mode.
Most of all there should be more matches to choose from. And the Divas should be able to bleed too! Also there should be more moves. I dont know if there is a name for the game. But it should 100% Stratusfaction Guarenteed! If some of this stuff is in the game, I will be very pleased. And so will others. Hope the game if fantastic.

| he best game ever released for the ps2 | | the gazzman from stranraer scotland says (16/Jul/2004): | smackdown here comes the pain is gr8 but it is missing sumthing the ability to brake bones like kurt angle did to hardcore holly a cuple of years back when he broke his wrist. another thing that might make the game better would be the ability to create your own finisher and give it the speed of ray mysterio and the power of the undertaker and goldberg also I think that you should be able to get all wrestlers new entrance themes like kanes and the dudleys.you should be able to win titles in tlc matches out side the season you should also be able to attack people on there way to the ring and deside if it is a rivalray match. now the moniters on the announce table you should be able to pick them up and hit your apponent with them plus you should be able to put your apponent thruogh the doors in the back of the arena that would be cool what about a four on two handicap match or a ten man tag team match.all these ideas might make the new smackdown games better for the future genarations of the wwe a there sholud be a texas bull rope match in the next smackdown game. plus we should be able to casual clothes for all the wwe superstars on the next wwe smackdown game

Smackdown 5 HCTP...a game that put the other games in the closet to get dust.
It has everything people wanted even Bra and Panties match, match that we werent expecting...People come on...how would they know that Buried Alive would be around later in the WWE...Dont ask for that now...cause the game is out...Ask that for the next one...Casket match is a good match but then it wouldnt be realistic if you want it to be like WWE cause since when WWE had a Casket match??? thats old...but not bad idea.OK Chill son...
Anyways the roster is a good amount of wrestlers, all the ACTIVE ones...thats why Jeff aint there or Hogan and some others...But for the next Game it would be awesome to include Mordecai, Eugene, Kenso Suzuki, Scotty 2 Hotty, Billy Kidman, Billy Gunn, Hardcore Holly, Rosey (S.H.I.T) lol..., Toyson Tomko, Jamie Noble, Spike, Chavo Guerrero Classic, La Resistance, and others but cant forget the new and improved Undertaker with the creepy Theme song and Dark entrance with Paul Bearer.
Also for the next game to include Updated superstars like JLB and Kane without the shirt and his Theme song. RVD theme song, Dudleys song...Update superstars entrance video, like Y2Js, and John Cena. Shawn Micheals new crapy entrance, if only they would still do fireworks in ring when he does his thing. No not the ramp...I know theres fireworks on the stage.
Submission System the best... its intense. but dont make it harder when you put Difficulty on Smackdown, I kick behinds, but I cant tap out anybody, only on easy and normal.
Included some real legends in my opinion like Ultimate Warrior, Hulk Hogan, Macho Man, Bret Hart, Owen Hart, Andre the Giant, Razor Ramon, Diesel, Vader, Cactus Jack or Mankind, Yokozuna, Sting even though hes not WWE wrestler. He is cool...
The Season mode is good and on the next game they should have it to date, and at least LET 2 PLAYERS in the season mode like Smackdown 1 and 2 for PS. so I can grab the Tag Title with my bro you know.
Creating a superstar is great, there is a lot of variety of clothes and stuff for your created wrestler, but on the next game again...to at least include some orignal items or clothes... like if you want to do Ultimate Warriors paint of face, that you dont have to use like 5 to 6 layers to do a look like, just get the real thing.
Edit original superstar moves is an awesome way to keep wrestlers updated, but at least we should be abel to update their attire or looks, you know.
Gameplay, Graphics and Sound are awesome no comments...Hope for better game than it already is this fall for WWE Smackdown vs. Raw. Thats gonna be sweet. I know smackdown wont let us down and rip us of with cr< remove me > at p like, Gamecube and Xbox wrestling games, (no offense) but PS2 games rock... peace out. ;)

Heading into WrestleMania XX, the WWE is about to lose one of it's biggest stars before he even reaches his full potential...Brock Lesnar.
Like everything in the world wrestling, you should take any retirement announcements with a grain of salt. While he has yet to announce to the public that he is walking away, the WWE staff has apparently already been notified of his intent to quit wrestling after WrestleMania XX this Sunday.
This puts the WWE in the undesirable position of having a big match, with no real payoff. This is already Goldberg's last match in the WWE, and now it appears it could be Brock Lesnar's as well. Where do they go with this storyline if both men leave after the match?
The word making the rounds is that Brock is interested in trying his hand at professional football, and a career in the NFL.
Brock was courted by several NFL teams after he graduated from the University of Minnesota in 2000. He was invited to several tryout camps, and seriously considered becoming a football player before the WWE swooped in and signed him to a contract to follow in Kurt Angle's footsteps from amateur wrestling champion... to wrestling superstar.
Is it a negotiating ploy to get a lighter schedule? Could be.
This could be Brock's way of forcing the WWE into giving in to some of his recent demands for a lighter schedule, and more say in how the company is booking him. It's no secret that he has been upset with his position within the company for several weeks now, and this could be his way of making the company give in to his demands.
Is Brock Lesnar really gone from wrestling for good? Don't count on it, but stranger things have happened.

The create moads are brilliant cos you can make stabels (tag teams), wrestlers and move sets. I would say the graphics couldent get much beter . I like the music , it would be beter if there was comontating . The seasen was great (espesialy when i won the World Title from Brock Lesner at
Wrestelmania in a Hell In A Cell match) . The match typs are brilliant, me and my friends would just sit playing Bra & pnties matches because their so funny, Elimonation chamber matches are good to (on the next game they should mack bra & panties Elimonaton Chamber that would be so cool) the gameplay is great i could see myself playing it for days at a time . I promous you i will be playing this game for years to come. the fun factor i would say is 10 because i do play this game for dayes at at a time. Im sorry to say that the game cant realy be original because thera has bean 4 or 5 Smack Down games before it . I would say i payed the rite amount for this game ,30 British pounds . The main reason i like the game is its just brilience on a disc , there would only be two things i would add and they would be creat a move so you could make your own finishing move and download your face so you could put your face on your created wrestler and be in the match your self .
| top game but needs changes | | kesenaw from england says (17/Jun/2004): | i have played this game a whole lot since i got it last christmas, but i always thought it needed changes. the graphics are brill and the sound and gameplay are great, but it is not very up to date, on raw2 you can change the outfits of the superstars, i think this would be a good thing to add into the next game as it allows flexibility of the superstars, you can also use this to keep the charachters up to date. i got real excited when i saw a way to unlock the buried alive math from a cheat site, i played the game following all the steps the site told me to, but the hint turned out to be a dud. that made me mad as buried alive is a great match. i loved this game because it has all the makings needed for greatness, but i still think hogan should be on it along with the F.B.I and eugene and chavo guerero classic. and i also think that the entrances should be longer as shawn michaels music reaches some really great guitars further on. i also think that sawn michaels overall stats should be 90 just like triple h's as they are just as good as each other. you should also be able to get weapons from under the ring in a hell in a cell match cos i have never seen a hell in a cell where they didnt use weapons.

Smack Down 5 had almost all the new features, one of the new features was the legends. Another is the unlockables like Kanes attire with his mask and Old school Undertaker. THQ even added new matches example, first blood, elimination chamber, bra and panties and ect. The games graphics outdose its self the rumble in your hands when you get hit and when you go for a high jump from the cage or the turnbuckle. the player sound is amazing. this is one of the millions of games that you can play for hours and not get bored. My favorite is the season mode how it lets you switch brands between smackdown and Raw. you can pick witch superstars you want to put on other shows. It has groups like the Evolution and the create mode is amazing all the unquic styles.
But on the negetive side they dont have legends like Hollywood Hulk Hogan,Andrea the Giant,Brett Hart,Rody Rody Piper,The Super Fly, Kevin Nash,and Mankind/Mick Foley. and the others like The Bashams,Shaniquia,Jeff,Mark Henry,and Nathon Jones. I understood why jeff wasn't there cause he got cut but the others where no excuses. another thing they didn't have was the interferents like when your in a hard match you can press a button to let your partner run down to help.But they did let you interear but when you did the person did not get disqualifind. That was what i felt of the game but over all i loved it like a fat kid loves cake.
