Kill Switch, one of the best third person shooters I've played yet. |

Kill Switch has got to be one of the best Third person shooter games I have yet to play. The AI enemies are tough to beat, it has awesome graphics. This is an interesting and fun game. It has all the components to be game of the year in my opinion. It does'nt have any qualities other games have, how many other games do you get to hide behind a car or a wall th shoot blindly at your enemies. The training part at the start was a definite must. Without it I would have been lost. Kill Switch is honestly a captivating game. The first time I played it I played it non-stop for hours on end. It has its twists and turns, as does all other games, but this one is a new classic. Honestly all I can say are good things about it. I've seen a few "dumb" ai bots in it, you know the ones im talking about. THe ones that run into a wall and just keep running into the wall. Well I guess we all have our bad days. The AI bots have great skills, the come at you in packs of 3 to 6 and more at times. Ammunition is in abundance so there is not much worry about running out, unless you are one of those people who keep the trigger running wide open. The recoil on the weapons can be a pain, but it makes for realism, and that was a great touch. Kill Switch is a must have game if you like third person shooters like Resident Evil and Splinter Cell. If you like those games you'll love Kill Switch. But most importantly you don't have to take my word for it, rent it yourself before you buy it and you'll see what I'm talking about. Well thats about all I can say about it sh have fun and remember, "kill em' all, let God sort em' out"!!! Have fun and happy slaughters...

This game reminds me of a cross between Metal Gear Solid 2, SOCOM, and Ghost Recon. It has the levels similar to and "sneaking" of MGS2, the weapons of GR, and the gameplay of SOCOM. I'm not sure if it's worth $50, but I only paid $20 for it at a pawn shop. For $20, it's definitly worth it. It is an action packed game. The concept is somewhat orginal, but rather lame. "Take Cover and Survive". It was what MGS2 was all about. MGS had peeking around corners and firing at people long before Kill Switch came out. If it was a First Person Shooter, it would be pretty much indistinguishable from Ghost Recon. The "Run and Shoot" gameplay makes this very much like SOCOM, except that you only command one person. The storyline is weak as well. You are a guy controlling a "robot". The Operative that you control is a Man that has had his brain hacked into. The Controller (you), starts having problems with the Operative when the Operative's memories start returning. Think "Robocop" or "Universal Soldier". After every level, you see a piece of his memory return, and they form into a movie. However, each part of the movie replays itself, and it gets annoying quickly. The "Say My Name" and "Data Streaming" at the beginning of each level get more annoying much quicker, and you cannot skip through them. Don't get me wrong, this is an enjoyable game, once you get past the sub-par story. It's a kill-or-be-killed game. For a good time, load a saved game and let an uninitiated friend run around and get blown away.

Kill switch is one of the best Third person shooter games I have ever played. In most other games of it's kind you have to go to first person view in order to have the target you want selected but not for this. I especially enjoyed the fast paced running through while killing at the same point in time! A great factor to the game is the life rebuild guage. The game might've sucked if this weren't included because when you're engaged in a heated head on battle your life drains rapidly and all you need to do is GET OUTTA THERE AND REST!! The graphics are cool though they could be a bit better. Not very realistic looking and their mouths don't open when speaking. However, the great sound effects and that alluring, sexy voice that says "Say my name" attracts my attention everytime. I wonder who that person was? The game is a whole lot of fun and any person who doesn't enjoy this needs to be tested for exposer to excessive boredom. I can't say it may seems completely original and the story line seem a lot similar to the story lines of other games of it's kind. However, I still love the gameplay. All in all, Kill Switch is a marvelous game, a must have and I'm sure that you'll agree with me on this, it will make you want to "Say it's name" over and over to all your friends. L8erz!!!!!

It was definetaly a game I couldn't pass up and hated going to work and turning the game off. The anticipation for this game was well worth it. I especially liked the game play and the blind fire. It was well worth the $50.00 paid for this game. I have since completed each level and I am currently working on the harder level. Although I did not rate it a perfect. It lacked because of the bodies disappearing, no blood for close-up shots (realistic-when you shoot someone real close you expect to see blood), the enemy always came from the same way previously played or were always where you expected them, and finally, too short for such a great game...let me feel like I spent a good $50 by at least making it more that the current levels in the game.

This game provides much action for its player. The downfall is that there are a limited amount levels, and two difficulties of gameplay.A different type of gameplay, duck, shoot, and kill comes with the new blind-fire (shooting while in cover, not looking where you do so) feature that hasn't been seen in any game yet. Good grapgics, with awesome gameplay and controls. This game provides much action for its player. Awesome AI keeps you coming back for more! Yes, they can cover as good as you, if not better! SOCOM II's single player cant compair to Kill Switch.

This agme is f***ing awsome. You can jump and roll whitch is a very cool feature, but the coolest thing about tyhe game,in my opinion, is the way that u can hide behind walls and pike out and shoot bad guys on the other side. This game also inpressed me by the quality of its grafix. But one of the things i disliked about this game is that the bodys dont stay there, i mean seriously where the F**k did they go. Anyway if u have an x-box or a PS2 this game is a must have.

To start with this game is really easy so you might want to rent it ( of corse it depends on your gameing skills).Controll system is OK (its like red faction 2 )but it needs some time to work on.Arsenal is nice but small.AK,M16,machine gun ..etc.Cover
system works great and it really comes in handy .Blindfire is ok but u miss alot.Story line is... fine.Graphics are great.
mission locations are all around the world and thelevel design is very good (not boring)

This is a great game, with or without the active cover system. But, that's the best part of the game. Being able to use your inviroment for cover while shooting(Blindfire), is great! The controls are simple to master. The graphics are spot on, and the AI is some of the best. The only things that i can gripe about are the slightly restricted character movement and the way you die to easily. But thats nothing , the game is fun and that's all that matters!

I think kill.switch is very cool and fun but its kinda short its not like them other games where you just run out and shot you have take cover reload when need not just a hit and run game. They dont have alot of guns only anbout 13 i think but its hard for just being normal but other wise this would be a rental game because its short unless your not that good at these kind of games.

The best part of the game is of course the fact that you can shoot enemies while using your surroundings as cover (blindfire). I thought that the only downside was the fact that it was a little too easy, even on hard. Once you get the hang of the controls the rest is a breaze. I think I was excpecting a lot more so I was a little dissapointed.

i dont care what other people think this game is the best third person game. Its funny about you can throw a grenade and the people dont even notice when theres the two people talking to each other but other that that this game is addictive and awsome!!! Also this game is nothing like any other and was worth the full 50 bucks

If santa does not get it for you then just blow the fat man out of the sky. trust me kill switch will really blow your head off.

this game was great. the fact that you need to use cover is awsome and the way he blind fires is tight. I love the graphics and the gameplay. I loved the way thing blew up and the realism of death to the bad guys. The only problem was the fact the you dont live long basically its easy to die and ammo is a conserne.

its a allout battle between you and 500 people....best thing is that you have the ability to over come them evern though they have the same skills as yourself.... its kinda short and gets frustating but you you do get a advantage over them if you move with swift accuracy......rent it and try it....

it is the best game i have played since metal gear and splinter cell. great action and the fighting is crazy makes want to keep playing till you can`t play anymore. A must buy game,great for any teenager that loves game like this. GO and buy this awsome game for ps2 or xbox

this game has to be one of the best hands on gun games i have played yet other then medal of honor: rising sun. but KIll Switch has the graphics yet it has what every good game should have "challange" and skills.. it has everything so thats why i rate it a 10 good game guys!!

The game is great, but there are not a lot of levels to play on. The graphics and gameplay is great. I really enjoyed playing it, but I would like it to have a better storyline and longer play. Other than that the game is great and I believe it's worth playing it.

This is an asowm game. There is lots of action an shooting. It is really fun. If you like gun games this is for you all the way.It is hard and challanging soit will a take about a week or more to beat it unlike medal of honor. Hope this encouredged you to buy it.
