Hey dudes..this game is freaking the pants out of everyone who plays it...i am crazy about tis game..that i almost noe everything about tis game..Good graphics..sounds..but its controls are a bit slow...horror games are like tat...i've completed the easy normal and hard liao..playin on nightmare now..the story is very sad...makes people cry..the theme song is very nice too..i love the song..The camera obscura is a mystical weapon which can capture ghosts.It makes u feel uneasy no guns are added to the game.Ghosts like the broken neck woman makes u run away.The sound effects are very good and eerie.Well...u will only get to see the good ending:hellish abyss when u've complted the hard or nightmare mode.If u play the easy or normal mode,the last ghost u will be fighting will be a Kusabi.One touch game over.If u are playin the hard or nightmare mode...u have to first finish off the kusabi...then go through the staircase and u have to fight Sae..After that..she will split into herself and MAyu,Mio's sis..Then they both fell down and Mio caught Mayu's hand.After that..a spirit call itsuki call Mio not to look into the abyss.She didnt obey and she looked.As the view close down the abyss,there will be bodies crawling around.Thousands of bodies.Then,Mio pulled up Mayu and become blinded.It is therefore...a sad and a reunion ending.Hope u find tis review useful.

Fatal Frame is all about the paranormal.
The thing that keeps this game different from other horror-survival games is the weapon. You will find a camera close to the beginning that can dispatch ghosts. It might sound like a stupid idea at first, but once you play it, it is the coolest idea ever. It makes the player feel uneasy by making him/her use a camera isntead of a gun or a club. But once you get used to the idea, you won't want to go anywhere without a camera.
The story is great too. Very disturbing and sad. The twins get trapped in a lost village, and they have to find their way out. As they find clues on how to leave the village, they also learn the disturbing and sad history of the village.
Cinematics are very good. Very nice voice acting and face expressions. I love it how they did the scared looks on the main characters' faces. Graphics are awsome. Some of the ghosts look so real that even the ghosts without any mutilation look freaky enough to star in a nightmare. And sound adds to the scare. And the music.... They all combine to make the player feel very unsafe.
The thing that impressed me the most is how this game did a great job in making the player get into the character's shoes. Yes, very good game. I love it

When I first popped this game into my Xbox (I have the Xbox version, which really isn't different from the one on PS2) I assumed that this game would be exactly the same as all the other sacry games I've ever played. After about one minute into the game learned I waa wrong because you start seeing goasts, and about another minute after that you are in a creepy and abandoned (or so you think!) house. The second you take one step you see a goast through these bars. I nearly jumped out of my skin!After that you wander throughout the house and sooner or later you end up finding this camera.
The cool thing about this game is mainly the weapon... a camera. I know it probably sounds rediculus but this camera can exorcise goast (capture/kill etc.) by trapping them withen the picture you just took. The ending is awesome and the graphics are breathtaking. I STONGLY RECOMMEND THIS GAME TO ANYONE WHO LIKES GETTING SCARED BECAUSE THIS GAME IS AS SCARY AS HELL (and it just so happens that hell plays a major role in this game) SO PLAY THE GAME, AND BE AFARID, BE VERY AFRAID.........

Ok I have always searched for a scary game and I never found one until I played this one. People in the past reviews already covered pretty much alot about the game, but I have to say dont play this game in the dark, or alone. I litarally, had to hold my breath every single time I open a door. YOu do get a camera and I do believe that is the only way to kill something eathreal like a ghost. What scared me the most was when like I remember me going in to a room, and like my characters heart started to beat and stuff and this I look deeper and see a thing that look like the thing that came out of the t.v from the ring. Instead it came out of a box so I was just gonna leave until it says that some powerful force is holding the door. It scares me and it makes me wonder who is doing it. Well anyway the other main reason I love the game is you could keep these pictures of ghosts you took a picture of and you could store them in these books. THis game is SUPERB!!

Fatal Frame 2 is the best! All you got is this camera and a flashlight that goes out once in a while! All the ghosts that pop up often is also scary! Imagine that you are walking past a house. Then you turn, in order to see a pair of legs walking all on their own! Really nice costumes and accesories. The storyline is also good. Graphics, music, and sound makes it all like it's real. It's happening. Oh look! A ghost!

This is exactly what I want in a game. Graphics,Music,Story,Forget the guns at home people.And shoot in an entirly new way. It freaks me out! The moment you begin You're transformed into these charaters. Seeing, hearing, and praying for the light to come on. Best played at night in the dark with the volume way up.Get someone to tuck you in that night :-)
