It was amazing! | | Kazz from Vancouver, Canada says (18/Mar/2004): | Well i beat the first one and i had 2 words to say...too short. So when the 2nd came out i was surprised to see a lengthier game. The items were very cool and unique, but i was disapointed not being able to be the girl mage with her electricity spell like in the first one. Another downer was the lack of shops, until the end. Although i beat it quickly cuz i am a baldurs fan, it was impressive. The graphics were solid, and controls easy. When i played, i used the barbarian, and i found him quite good. Also i tried the necromancer and cleric and they are a force as well. I did not use cheats, to win but using a clerics heal and barbs strength can be cheap ; ). This game is a good buy, and i am looking to see a 3rd.

The graphics were nice and the controls were good. It would have been nice to have the camera drop a little to see better ahead of you though. There could have been a little more variety in the game play as it was mostly the same thing level after level. Leveling up your character took quite a while and upgrading your equipment was rediculously costly. I was tempted to use the cheat codes. A little more story line would have helped too. Overall I still had fun playing it and would recommend using the necromancer elf character, as his magic was the most fun to use.
| An Adventure for All Time! This Rocks! | | Luke Camsell from England,UK says (16/Feb/2004): | When I heard this game was coming out,I was do excited!I loved the first one and this one is no dissapointment at all! You can plays as either a Barbarian,Moon Elf Necromancer,Moon Elf Monk,Cleric and a Rogue(Dwarf).Each one has their own skills and feats to use.
There are over 80 levels to go through with 4 challenging chapters! So far I am on Chapter 4 but I think I have nearly finished it.This is a great game and I reccoment it to all of those RPG gamers and Adventurers out there.
