at first i thought that it would be cool to wright the first review for this game, and then i was disgusted. why havent 10000 people flocked to this site and type a great review for this game?!? i mean this is the best game ever after all, shure the first 30 hours of the game make you want to bash your friggen head a genst the wall in frustration... but thats all part of the fun. and anouther purk is the acual online part i mean you can really talk and co-op with other people ( i know that not sound like much to you, but to me all this stuff is new )and a nouther thing that really mad me angry was the fact that it took like 7 hours just to hook the whole thing ( MIGRAIN! )

I haven't really played alot of final fantasy games. I've only played final fatsy x and this one and from what ive played their great. This is not the game for poeple who don't like having to run around. It takes alot of play time and you have to be able to play with other people, because it revolves around that. The graphics arn't great since it is online. This game is alot of money so if you don't like final fatasy or RPG games DON'T buy it.

Final Fantasy XI is arguebly one of the best role playing games out there right now for the PS2 (and the PC). It may appear to be too pricey, but that's because it comes with the Hard Drive for the PS2. The world in this chapter to Final Fantasy is huge. There's a lot to do and with all the different job classes available for you to mix and master, you'll be busy for a long time. Just don't forget about your own personal life once you start playing this game (in fact, there's even a message in the game before you start playing that tells you to keep up with your personal life, HA HA). My only complaints about Final Fantasy XI is that there's no BAHAMUT to summon, no EXCALIBER and RAGNOROCK swords (and all the Final Fantasy fans no how cool these weapons are), and not a big enough variety of dragons and humanoid/human-like foes to fight. Maybe SquareEnix will include another expansion later on that will fix these problems... otherwise, I would have given this game a perfect score... but 9 out 10 is flawless. Get the game if you're a fan of the series. Make sure u have the money to keep playing it though. One more thing: make sure u have a USB keyboard to play the game with too, or else chatting with other characters will be very, very difficult. Trust me, you'll need to chat with people in this game.

Alright so I've never played Everquest but man I don't want to even touch that game. Final Fantasy 11 is awsome. So I have put in about 30 hrs. and have been fighting everything. This game has made any other game obsolete. The gameplay and battle system is killer, partying, and the fact that your armor changes the way your charecter looks. Man could this game be any sweeter. I can't wait for more updates on the game and to be able to go above level 50. I still want to make more charecters and try diffrent things. So how long do I have to wait for more i don't know but I do know that I can't wait. well with all that said This Game Rocks!!!!!!!!!!!!

I didn't actually get this game when it 1st came out, I only bought it recently on playstation and as you would expect the graphics are terrible compared to today's games e.g. final fantasy 10. The storyline is good and the characters too but I think even in this department its not as good as the other Final fantasys (my favourite is 8) I wouldn't advise buying it unless like me you've completed all other ffs and are waiting for 12 to come out. The story involves many characters (10 i think) the main character is a girl named Terra (the only other ff with a female lead is X-2) who has the power of magi (magic if u hadnt guessed) and is one of the only ppl on the planet who has the power since the end of the war of the magi. The villain, Kefka wants to take over the world (doesn't really explain y...) and tries to use the power of espers to do it (The sam as GFs, Aeons or just 'summons' on 7.) As Terra is half esper, half human, it is up to her to restore peace to the world. The game is short (onlyone disk) and there are no sidequests really or certainly none I kno about. The only thing going for this game is the storyline really. It shows how much the ff series has been improved over the years. There's very little animation in the battles and the graphics are 2D. So as I said, buy it if your bored but I'd advise either 7,8,9 or 10 if you havnt already got them. If you've just started getting into ff id recommend 9.
